We came to Chattanooga for a weekend trip and my husband found this place on google and we were not disappointed! Everything we had was amazing! Their menus had lots of choices to fit anything you have the taste for, and their cocktail picture book was awesome! I had the Pixy Stick cocktail and it was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. We splurged and got the A5 Wagyu appetizer and it was hands down the best steak we’ve ever tried. For our meals, my husband got the blue crab linguine and I had the cheeseburger with street corn as the side, both were amazing! Our waitress, Melanie was so sweet and made our first time there a great one! We weren’t going to do dessert but she insisted we pick one as complimentary so we picked the Moonpie Martini and it was delicious! I’ve already told my husband that I want to come back in April for our anniversary because it was that good!
We had a lovely farewell and birthday lunch here. The food was delicious and the server was very friendly. We didn’t have to wait long for our order, which was great. The kale salad was fresh, with a perfect balance of sweetness and a little sourness from the apples, plus a nutty crunch from the almonds. The sushi was fresh, not fishy at all, and beautifully presented. The turkey sandwich was huge—definitely filling! We ended our meal with coffee, tea, and cake, which made the lunch feel perfect. The atmosphere was cozy, comfortable, and pleasantly lively without being too noisy, even though the place was full of people.
Came here at 5pm on a Saturday night with a reservation of 6 to celebrate our wedding. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server Mike who took our orders and answered our questions. Everything was delicious and came out in good time. My husband's filet mignon was slightly overcooked and they prepared a brand new complete meal for him, cooked the way he likes, and took care of the check appropriately. The manager checked in twice to ensure everything came out well again. I'm a sucker for excellent customer service so we'll definitely be back.
All the food was amazing. We ended up getting The Waygu they sliced it for us to share and brought out two plates. This place is definitely a must try. It is a little more expensive BUT For what we got the price wasn’t crazy. Request Ethan he was amazing and gave us great recommendations no complaints except from my waistline.
Great food. Very attentive service. Good selection of mixed drinks and spirits. Had a really good experience. Not our first time here and we plan to come back again.
I’ve been to the Malone’s in Lexington and loved it, but this one is definitely better!! The sushi was fresh and delicious, and it was presented beautifully. The donut bread pudding is also a must! The service was excellent, and the inside is gorgeous.
We went here for my birthday meal. I don’t eat seafood but my party the got huge seafood platter and it looked amazing. The appetizers were great. I had the Waygu beef steak and it was as AMAZING as I imagined. I never could afford it in my own but it was a birthday gift, that being said it was reasonably priced especially for what it was. I had the Mac and cheese as my side and it was really good and that’s coming from aficionado of mac & cheese. I had the crème brûlée for a dessert which was also really good. Definitely recommend it. It’s a little pricey, but not bad. Like I said compared to its rivals. I think it’s really well done. And at least you won’t be disappointed this will not be a place where you spend money and are disappointed afterwards it’s worth the money you’ll spend.
Always impressed with the food and drinks. I had Molly as a server today and she was not only kind but extremely attentive. Wonderful experience all around.
Overall experience - top notch from start to finish!! My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and the team handed us a card for our anniversary and a belated birthday card for me, such a wonderful gesture. Our server was JAS and she was fantastic! From the atmosphere to the food and service - 5 stars! We are going to be regulars here that's for sure.
Sushi was amazing. Waiter was very nice was seated immediately. And probably the coolest bar I’ve ever seen.
The lexingtonian salad is something that I CRAVE and this braised beef and potato soup taste like somebody Irish granny made it. It is something rich and the depth of flavor is something to talk about! Emily was super sweet at the bar and even though the bar was packed she still took good care of us!
Another visit and impeccable service and food once again! Absolutely wonderful food, service and atmosphere. We ordered an appetizer, and our entrees that come with a salad and could not finish anything! Huge servings that were delicious and just as described. The Cajun chicken pasta was superb. The Caesar salad was wonderful. The spinach artichoke dip was scrumptious and was served with fried Lasagna chips. Very different. Our server Jake was attentive and gave great recommendations! Highly recommend this restaurant!
My first time at this restaurant ,I order steak and it was perfectly cooked, the service was excellent, little pricey but expected if you want a good service & food , I definitely coming back .
My first visit to this establishment was nothing short of amazing. The ambiance is elegant yet understated, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for any occasion. The menu is incredibly diverse—there’s an endless selection of dishes, and you might find yourself torn between choices for quite some time. Every dish that came out was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, making it clear that quality is a priority here. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu. With such a broad selection and top-tier service, I can easily see this place becoming a local favorite for years to come.
Malone's was hands down the best restaurant I've been to in ages (possibly ever). EVERYTHING I ordered was delicious, from the crunchy munchy sushi roll to the chicken tenders, to the blue crab linguini, as well as all of my cocktails (Pixy Stix, Citrus Orchard, and Margarita). All of my friends enjoyed their meals as well. I left full and satisfied...They also have the biggest bar I've ever seen. I'm sure they have every type of bourbon you can think of. Customer service was top notch as well. Keep up the great work guys! 👏🏽👏🏽
My Halibut was cooked to perfection even with the request to do without the cornmeal breading. Cynthia was an amazing & friendly server.
10/10 absolutely recommend! The food was great, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was nice. Worth every penny in my opinion. The steaks were mouthwatering! The only thing I didn’t like was the Lexingtonian salad; very bland and not for me. They even provided a free dessert for an anniversary celebration. Definitely going back.
This was one of the best experiences we've had! Incredible food but even better service. Ethan made our night more special than it was even expected to be. Truly appreciate you, and know you will be a great father to Shiloh!!! (03 July 2025) Also, I recommend the Manhattan Strip!
Came to celebrate a birthday and was not disappointed. From service to food, everything was great! Very friendly and helpful staff. The steaks and appetizers were spot on and delicious. I highly recommend trying out this place. Will definitely be back again soon.
🟡 I had an incredible dining experience at Malone's on the evening of 11/21/24. Kaitlyn K. was my server, and she was absolutely fantastic—prompt, friendly, and attentive. I didn’t have to wait long at all, which was impressive given how busy it was. I ordered the French Quarter Alfredo, which was perfectly creamy and full of flavor, along with a Caesar salad that was fresh and crisp. I also tried the Wagyu Kobe Burger, cooked medium with Yukon Gold Whipped Potatoes and Sautéed Mushrooms on the side—it was truly mouthwatering! For drinks, I had a couple of 4R Single Barrel pours, one neat and one on the rocks, which paired beautifully with the meal. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it a great place to unwind. Kudos to Kaitlyn for making this such a memorable visit. I’ll definitely be back soon
We had our 22nd anniversary dinner here. From the walk-in to the walkout, the whole experience was GREAT! The Great Wall of Bourbon is breathtaking. Warm, cozy, romantic setting. We had reservations for 7 pm, and we're immediately seated. Micah was quickly at our table with ALL the menus. He had a helper who quickly brought our drinks and kept them full while keeping the table clean of dirty dishes. Both did a great job! The bread was good, but the garlic butter stole the show! My wife wanted to take what was left home. We ordered a Spicey California Roll! Highly recommend. Here comes the endless Lexington salad. With the bread, it was great. We tried to save room for our entrees... My wife had the Twin Filets with bbq and onion straws, with a loaded baked potato. The filet was cooked perfectly with flavor. The potato could've stayed in the oven a little longer, but it was okay. I had the filet with blackened shrimp and mashed potatoes. The filet was again cooked perfectly in a garlic butter. The shrimp was a little overdone but tasty. The mashed potatoes were AWESOME!!!! Micah brought us a slice of strawberry cheesecake for anniversary, it's no Sugar B's (IYKYK go see Robin), but it's very good. In closing, perfecrt place for our anniversary dinner! Great food, great service. We will definitely be back! Try them, I bet you'll love it!
My wife and I had an excellent evening at Malone's. The cocktails were tasty, the food delicious, and excellent service. I had chicken linguini and split a sushi roll with my wife. She had a fillet mignon and baked potato. The restaurant is very large and accommodating. I think there's a bar that is split from this restaurant called Harry's. A bit odd but looks inviting.
Our first to Malone's tonight. The only thing we are mad about is we haven't been sooner. The food was very good. The Mediterranean Trio is a must-order. The Mexican Street Corn was a great side dish. My wife ordered the French Quarter Chicken and I ordered the Filet and Blackened Grilled Shrimp. We were both very happy. Our server did a good job as well. We didn't know what to expect on this initial visit but we were blown away and looking forward to our next visit.
Great service, sushi is always larger and on point drinks are awesome and happy hour is 3-5 m-f Great for family , dates and cocktails- Harry’s is more of a loud sports bar vibe in same building . Follow me let’s meet for sushi !
First time going and we loved the atmosphere, food and service was great as well. It was a Saturday so I recommend making reservations if you don't want to wait.
Luke was awesome. Everything from the bread to the salad to the meal was phenomenal. There’s potential I could eat myself to death if there was enough of this crab linguine for me to get ahold of. My lady got the steak and it was actually cooked perfect best steak I’ve had in my 21 years. Perfect. Loved this place and for once wasn’t mad it was expensive as it was, atleast after I’d had the food lol
We went on Valentine’s Day and the service was excellent. The management was so kind to make sure everything went well and we had the best service on one of the busiest days of the year. Thank you to each employee and the management that worked that night to make our night so memorable. We will be going back. Thank you so much! Kim and Mike Hixson
My wife and I decided to try it out for our Birthdays and let me tell you it was nothing short of an excellent experience! The service, food, and staff was beyond exceptional. We started off with crab dip which was phenomenal and then we had a filet along with the wagyu burger. We ended the night with the chocolate chip cookie which was absolutely delicious! I cannot remember the name of manger who stopped by our table and asked how our experience was but he made sure we enjoyed our meal and made sure we would come back again. Overall 10/10
This place has alot of apps and sushi plates Great for someone who loves to share with their dinner date/ friends! The filet mignon was cooked perfect! The salmon piccata was wonderful with lots of capers!!! Our server was very attenuation to our needs/ likes!
It was my first time ever eating at Harry’s , and it was an excellent experience. The service was great. The food was great. You get a lot of food for the money. We had a large group and we were seated very quickly and we were well taken care of all night. Would highly recommend eating at the Malones/Harrys in Chattanooga.
I have no complaints. One hell of a steak, and a massive baked potato, and I'm hooked. Really love the atmosphere too. That wall of bourbon is impressive, and the wait staff was great. Shout out to Jake for great service!
This place is much better than Long Horns or Texas Road house, but they still put heavy salt and cheese on everything like the chain places. The steak was a very good cut, and cooked to order with a nice sear. The salt made it hard to eat. The old fashioned was smooth and tasty. Just what I would exepect for a bourbon bar. Over all, I would still rather go to Firebirds, Ted's Montana, or Hennen's, my favorite Chattanooga Steak House.
Dined here for the first time on my birthday. My wife and I had an amazing experience. The food was outstanding as were the drinks. London took great care of us and had a great sense of humor. Hunter, the manager, also stopped by to explain how their whiskey flights worked and to make sure everything was great. The birthday card was a very nice touch as well as the amazing dessert. I really love the ambiance of this place with the dark wood, soft lights, and amazing backbar. All-in-all, this was an excellent experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.
This was my first time at a Malone's and it was great. Our server Naomi was amazing, and so was the food. If you want a great steak at a reasonable price, this is the place. Highly recommend!
My wife and I just dined at Malones for the first time after hearing how good it is. The ambience is very nice with plenty of room. You don't feel crowded. Our server, Luke was friendly and attentive, explaining the specials and menu to us. The bread and butter is very tasty as is the salad that comes with the entres. My wife and I ordered the twin fillets - she asked for whipped potatoes as her side and I ordered the lemon butter asparagus. We ate our salad as we waited for our food to arrive. When the food arrived, it looked very good, unfortunately my steak and asparagus were both cold. The steak and potatoes my wife has ordered we also cold. We asked Luke if we could speak with a manager. Abby came to our table and listened to us. She was very attentive and apologized. I do want to say that the food was very good, it was just cold. She asked if they could have a do-over to which we agreed. A few minutes later, our food was brought out by Landry, another manager. He also apologized and said he wanted to ensure we were satisfied. It was night and day the second time around. Mistakes are going to be made - I get that. It's how a business handles those mistakes that determines if I will visit again. Abby, Landry and Luke did a wonderful job. My wife and I left very satisfied, not only with the taste of the food, but the service we received.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had an amazing experience here tonight! Christian was an outstanding server — friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish — and Jared, the server assistant, was just as great and kept everything running smoothly. The service really elevated the whole meal, and the new Firecracker Shrimp Bowl was absolutely amazing, packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service — I’ll definitely be back!!
First time in today and it was a great experience! Luke was our server and he couldn't have been more personable. He knew it was our first time and guided us through the menu and made excellent recommendations. The filet was cooked to perfection, their bottomless salad is fresh, cold and savory and the brussel sprouts were crispy and delicious. My husband had the cajun fettuccine alfredo and he loved it. We both had a smoked old fashioned and I was elated when I saw large clear cubes! So many restaurants skimp on the good ice, but not Malone's. We will definitely be back!
Had a great dinner here today. Luke, our server ( the one with glasses ) was awesome. The food and service were great and the spinach artichoke dip was possibly the best we have ever had. Definitely will be back!
It was a birthday party, the tables reserved for 30 quests including children. On a Sunday at 5. Two new servers were assigned to our 2 very long tables were very overwhelmed to say the least! It took forever for everything. The manager helped at some point. I think it's ok to decline large parties when you don't have adequate help. We asked for menus from Harry's as well as Malones. That took forever but I'm all about a deal! The Harry's steak with the unlimited salad and I had Mexican corn. The socializing over food was lovely! We were in a open room. The waiting for drinks, food, to go containers and checks was agonizing. The birthday girl had to wait 20 minutes after everyone left for a complimentary birthday treat. Which they offered! If large party work out details at the time you reserve your tables.
1st time visit; loved the atmosphere and decor. The parking area seemed full, but we were promptly seated. Service was attentive, welcoming, and friendly (thank you Tyler). Our meal was not rushed; orders were placed to the kitchen to avoid courses stacking at the table. We tried two appetizers (spinach and artichoke dip, and Mediterranean Trio) which were okay but nothing to rave about; we'll try something different next time. Know that their steaks are cooked with generous amounts of salt, so be sure to let your server know if you have preferences for your seasoning or any dietary restrictions when you order. Those who had steaks really enjoyed them; they were cooked to wellness as ordered. Fried fish was good, and the steak fries were yummy. The best dishes were the steaks, spinach and apple salad, roasted Brussel sprouts (super delicious and a bit spicy), and cheesecake.
For our own experience, we decided to try this restaurant since we were in the Chattanooga area. We started out ordering the calamari and had it fried extra crispy. Doing so and did not make the calamari. Feel as though it was overcooked. The crisp was just right 👍🏾 . Me and my girlfriend then proceeded to order the salmon with steak. My salmon was cooked very well and my girlfriends as well. She did order a steak and asked for medium well but when her steak came out it was very much well done. With no pink on the inside at all. My steak was cooked well and it was seasoned as well. The staff did cook or another and they brought her out her main course and it was free of charge. Her only complaint was that they had a little bit extra pepper on it but overall it was good. My stepdaughter ordered sushi and although she did say she enjoyed it, she did not like the aftertaste that it gave her. She said it kind of made her feel sick but it was more of an aftertaste than her actually being sick. For dessert, I did order the strawberry cheesecake and I will say that to me the cheesecake was so good that I actually ordered another one after I finished the first one. And that says a lot because usually when I go out and dine at places I don't order desserts but I thought I'd give this place a try and it was well worth the penny. All in all I think the food here is decent. Not much to complain about. Other than maybe the steak portions could be a little bit bigger for the price. I understand the economy and prices are up but for the amount of money that you pay for a steak here to be cooked by a chef is understandable but the portions could be bigger. Hope you guys enjoy.
Me and my family ate here recently. I had the center cut sirloin with Brussels sprouts. My meal was delicious! The service was good as well. Our waitress was very attentive and answered all of our questions. I really enjoyed the ambience inside the restaurant. Their Christmas decorations really made us feel at home. I highly recommend Malones if you're looking for a good steak dinner!
Good food and decent service. Just very expensive as a place for lunch ($30+/pp). Salad is not included, so that adds to the total bill. I would be more inclined to this restaurant for lunch if they had a decently priced lunch menu. But it felt like we were paying dinner prices at lunchtime. Probably fine for a business lunch on expense account, but pricey for the average consumer.
We sat on Harry's side of Malone & Harry's sports bar. We had a variety of food. Sushi & and potato skins were amazing. Along with Harry's margarita. My husband ordered fish and chips & I had the steak and fries. He said the fish was really good. I wasn't really impressed with the steak. Im not sure i would order it again for $28. Overall, it's pretty good, and we will try it again sometime.
For a steakhouse, we were really disappointed. All 4 steaks came out incredibly overcooked and tiny. The manager made it right for 2 of them by taking them off or offering to re-cook the steak but shouldn't happen at a steakhouse, super sad they came out well done when we ordered rare. The sushi is the same as drakes just so -so, Mexican street corn looked great but lacked flavor, chocolate cake is tasty but $25 a serving, granted it is like a quarter of a whole cake. The salad was plain and iceberg lettuce it seemed. Management and service was great, restaurant is beautiful so hoping since it's new they will get better.
Had a party of 8, 4 people had steaks they were not cooked to the ordering temperature, mine included (ordered medium and it was medium rare). My wife and I just ate ours how they came even though they were wrong. They did fix 2 of the steaks. However, at a high end steak house, steaks should be cooked to exact temperature 100% of the time, not 50% of the time. My wife ordered a lemon twist martini which came out as a regular martini with a lemon wedge. Again, a high end restaurant should know what a lemon twist martini is. I will say, the whiskey selection and prices were great as was the complimentary bread.
We got a burger and fries (husband) and some sushi (me). He isn't picky and said the burger was dry and the fries tasted like they came out of a bag. It wasn't bad, it was just not great. The sushi was pretty good, only 3 gluten free options that were fairly similar to each other though. The atmosphere and service were great. Some people might like it just fine or might get something better from the menu, we just though it was a bit underwhelming from the good things we had heard about it.
First visit for my birthday dinner. 4 adults for a 6:30 reservation on Monday evening. High expectations as the restaurant was highly recommended. We were seated quickly and we all ordered a beverage from the bar. Bread for the table was good, some thought the garlic butter was too strong, so regular butter was provided. Orders: Sea Bass (see photos- not recommended,) seasonal menu Ribeye Sandwich (served cold, not recommended,) Fried Shrimp (appeared to come from the freezer, not recommended,) Fried Fish (the highest rated dinner; large portion, but some was “fishy.”) Pros: Best Baked Potato out that I’ve had. Salads: cold, generous and fresh. The small Caesar was an additional $5 Steak fries were good, but not what you traditionally would expect. Cons: see photos of $48 Sea Bass that looked like Flounder (it was sent back) Seasonal menu Steak sandwich- served cold and very little steak involved- sent back Fried fish and fried shrimp, ok but not special. Manager did visit the table and offer to replace 2 of the meals which were removed from the bills, but at that point the other dinners were complete. The server gave up on us after complaining about our meals, as did her assistant. The problem was the kitchen, not the service, but they didn’t know how to handle the feedback. Our table wasn’t cleared until we requested it be done. We were very much avoided for the evening. I am very much disappointed in my birthday dinner choice, but happy with the friends that joined us.
We waited a very long time for appetizer just to have Burnt pita bread. Lemon sauce was good but noodles was very hard. Safe to say I won’t be returning. Waitress apologized for the delay she blamed the kitchen but didn’t think twice on handing us burnt food.
I was really disappointed with my experience. For the price, I expected much better quality. My $120 steak had almost no flavor and was mostly fat, which made it hard to enjoy. The lobster was overcooked and burnt, and the crab dip was overly oily and unappetizing. The only bright spot of the evening was the service — the staff was attentive, friendly, and did their best to make sure we were taken care of. That said, spending nearly $400 for two people and leaving unsatisfied is extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, the food quality did not match the cost, and I wouldn’t consider it worth the price.
