Loved this place. Awesome food with excellent service but English skills are a bit weak. We figured it out and I ended up with their staple ravioli with potatoes and truffles. Yummy.
What a pleasant surprise last night to enjoy La cena italiana as it should be relished. 2 hours plus, no servers rushing you or turning tables and the piatti / dishes so unique! The tastes of the sea were perfectly paired with owner Ariano’s recommendation of vino rosato Cannonau. My husbands birthday celebration was perfetto thanks to Ariano and our server Angela! Simply amazing! My boyfriend and I from Canada, dined for dinner at Boccon Divino purely because of convenience as our AirBNB was a few steps away. We assume he was the owner, but he took care of us and tried his best to translate and describe every dish in English for us to really understand his menu. Every detail in each dish was delicious and enjoy the shrimp tartare, pistachio/anchovies pasta and the duck dish. Truly a great authentic Italian experience. We wanted to go a second time but unfortunately our stay in Chiavari wasn't long enough. Thank you!

The food was exquisite, the service quietly attentive and caring. The owner and waiter care about wine and introduced me to several of the area. Probably my best culinary experience in Italy in this price range. A good source for buying retail wine

We are Americans with an apartment in Chiavari . Our absolute go to , never miss restaurant in Chiavari is Bocon Divino . We are there for every special family occasion or dinner every trip . Oriano is a spectacular host and his partner the Chef is amazing . The menus are seasonal , varied and show exceptional creativity . Ingredients are always farm & sea to table and fresh that day . The wine list and wine suggestions are spot on and pair perfectly .Bocon Divino is not just a Chiavari favors for us but one of our global favorites .
I was going to get the train back to Genova for lunch but glad I decided to eat here instead. I had the menu del giorno comprising three courses for €16 plus drinks. Food, service and general ambiance were all perfect. Highly recommended.

By far the best restaurant we visited in Chiavari. Beautiful ambiance, great service and outstanding dishes. Would come back any time.
7/10 Just a regular dining experience, nothing bad but nothing extraordinary. The window was open, and we breathed in cigarette smoke from time to time.
