There’s honestly nothing wrong about this place. I love Mexican food. It is probably one of my favorite and my go to food choices. Their burritos are PACKED with goodness and their combination plates are a great choice. It is also on the corner of a busy street (where it can be seen and found easily) and the parking is plenty in their lot and on the street. They also have nice benches where you can sit under the little gazebo setup they have. Pretty nice.

Oh we love this place!! They have lots of picnic tables, with large awnings overhead providing plenty of shade. Our food was Great. Husband really like the taco bowl Went back today, 2-13-24, and had the pork tacos! Mmmm, 4 street tacos for 7.50, very good

Came here when I saw the AL Pastor as I was driving next to the place. Made hard uturn and stopped for some tacos. They were $6.49 for 4. I get it, you don't get much for $1.50 anymore but the amount of meat, or lack there of was pretty bad I couldn't even get a decent taste of it. I'll try again as I can resist potential like this, maybe I'll just pay for the extra meat....

The carnitas fries are fantastic. The fries are crunchy and right out of the fryer. The carnitas pieces are actual chunks of juicy pork, not the dry strands of pork floss you usually get from a taco truck in this area. Eat the food at the truck or risk soggy food, this stuff is fresh and will steam itself to death in the foil take away pouch.

Order list: -4 taco special -1 small side of beans and rice -1 California burrito -1 Horchata What we got -2 tacos -1side of beans and rice -1 California burrito -1 fish taco? -“Horchata” Food quality: Overall was awful and dry. The rice and beans were lacking any flavor not to mention dry as a bone. The two tacos we did get out of four were the only good thing. The california burrito has probably less than 1/4th cup of chicken in the whole thing and was mouthfuls of fries and sauce. I loveeee my beans and rice I just wanted some good old fashioned food like grandma makes. But this was not it. If you want rice and beans and don’t know how to, goto foodmax and get some pasta roni “Spanish rice” way better and cheaper. Drink: Horchata is a simple but delightful rice milk based drink. What we got was sand. We got sand. Our mouths were coated with cinnamon in not a fun way and something else. Instead of being refreshing it was just awful mouthfuls of sand. I really wish I could get a refund so I can finally get some real tacos and beans :(

This was our first time eating here and the food was not good. We ordered to go. I ordered a chicken bowl with extra chicken and I barely got any chicken at all! What I got was a bowl of lettuce. The same went with the chicken quesadilla. Very disappointing.

G/f just picked up food for the family, this place was open early so we gave it a try. Everything was OK.. but the steak quesadilla we ordered has little to no cheese and they put sour cream right inside along with other cold toppings which is super weird to me… they do have the toppings listed on the menu so that’s on us for not looking but how do the add all this cold stuff to a quesadilla that has no cheese on it?? Probably my first and last time ever going to this truck, plenty of better options in Chico.

This place used to be my go-to but they raised prices and took away the salsa bar (it was the best part). I stopped going in 2024 because they made a habit of overcharging by 5-7 dollars on orders over 20 and usually give me cash back if I call it out. I went back in June 2025 to give them a chance and they overcharged me 6 dollars on a 25 dollar order. The woman pretended to do math on a calculator but then conceded to the correct total before she added up all the items. She knew before i called it out that she had already overcharged me. No more chances, these folks are scamming their customers and they already charge more than other trucks. Never again with this place. El Pinolero is right down the road and had better food in larger portions for less $

Found a bottle cap in my chorizo burrito.. This is the 2nd time they messed up my order. First was last year where they didn't add steak to my steak burrito. Sounds like that is something that happens from time to time if you look at the reviews. I boycotted them for a year, but thought I'd give them a second chance because they are located next to where I live (out of convenience). I see new workers here so I was hoping for a different experience. I'm very disappointed. The quality control is just as bad as it was last time... I'm never coming back.
