Typical dishes that to say they're good is an understatement. The waiter is easily able to patiently explain all the dishes. I don't know if they did us a favor, but the portions are perfect. It's not too much, not too little. High-end cuisine with simple dishes, the most difficult thing there is.

I'd give it 6 stars if it were possible! My wife and I were there this week, in the area to watch a stage of the Vuelta, and we made two pleasant discoveries: first, the village of Chiomonte, with all its ancient buildings and seven fountains; second, the Al Cantoun restaurant. At Paolo's, we enjoyed dishes that showcase passion, hard work, and quality, in a family-run atmosphere, managed by Paolo, his parents, and a kind and friendly waitress. If I ever decide to return to Chiomonte, it will be for dinner at Cantoun!

The only saving grace in the town of Chiomonte. Clean restaurant, impeccable service, polite and helpful staff. I'd like to take this opportunity to compliment the chef. I tried 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 second course, plus a side dish, water, wine, dessert, and coffee ☕️ for a modest €32. It was all delicious. I was amazed by the delicate and distinct flavors. It's a shame I only discovered it on the last day of my stay in Chiomonte. If I ever return to this area, I'll definitely eat at Al Cantoun again. Thank you

Highly recommended. It's one of those hard-to-find restaurants that offers great traditional food, top-notch service, and a great price. We had the daily menu (€13) and had a fantastic meal. Everything was delicious!

As a guest of the B&B, I took advantage of the set menu... for dinner, I had gnocchi with ragu, which was fantastic, mopping up the sauce with bread, and braised meat with a side dish that melted in your mouth... for dessert, the house special, apple pie with zabaglione cream, which was truly delicious. Friendly and attentive service, generous portions... card payment is ok.
