A very pleasant surprise in Chipiona. I'd walked past it a thousand times but never got around to it. The bar is small but well-used. It has a small terrace area with four or five tables and several high tables with stools inside. The staff is very friendly and humorous. The menu has some dishes that are different from the typical tapas you'll find in most bars. We had the smoked fish tartar, noodles with prawns (only on Saturdays), tempura artichoke with salmorejo, and the crocanti with goat cheese roll. We really liked everything. It fills up quickly, so if you want tapas, don't go too late...

We had a spectacularly good dinner, delicious dishes, and friendly, well-paced service. Upon arrival, you have to book your table, so keep this in mind during peak season. I had a couple of beers while we waited for our table. And it goes without saying that the location is unbeatable. Recommended!

Incredible food, superb atmosphere and impeccably clean (especially important during these times). Maybe my Google translate is broken because someone below complained about the hygiene. Would love to see pics because I had quite the opposite experience. Had the fried shrimp, fried tuna and tomato with goat cheese salad accompanied by an amazing, well-priced red wine and cold Cruzcampo. Will definitely continue visiting this hidden gem!

Amazing food. Coquinas al ajillo was the best ever, very authentic host, great arroz marinero and loads of interesting and freshly made tapas. The interior design is old fashioned and prices not the cheapest. But worth the quality and the wide option they have. I just wish they would serve better bread and picos.

La comida de sobresaliente alto. Los camareros cercanos, amables y rápidos dentro de sus posibilidades. Lo único que no me gustó fue la mesa donde nos sentamos, aparte de incómodas, el camarero tenía que hacer peripecias para hacer llegar los platos a nuestra mesa y a la de alado. Deberían de buscar otra distribución de mesas más cómoda tanto para el cliente como para ellos.

Nos costó bastante que nos cogieran el telefono para reservar. Una vez lo conseguimos nos indicaron que solo guardaban turno pero no tuvimos ningún problema. Variedad de tapas, raciones y montaditos, algunos un poco diferentes y originales. Muy rica la ensaladilla, los crujientes de langostinos y las costillas al moscatel, se deshacian. Marta la camarera que nos atendió muy agradable y siempre con una sonrisa. Precio más que ajustado para todo lo que comimos!

I've been going to Volapié for many years, and this one left me somewhat disappointed. I was surprised that they served us on disposable plates, although I don't know if it was a one-time thing, and they also served us less efficiently than in other years. Even so, the potato omelets are still very tasty. We also tried the octopus toast, and it was also good. I'd like to point out that the staff were spectacular, although the price tag seemed lacking. Despite all this, it has always been a highly recommended place to go in Chipiona.

A great tapas bar located in the heart of town, on the pedestrian street Isaac Peral. They have good food with typical local recipes, and above all, it's homemade, which is a big plus. The price-quality ratio is quite good, and the tapas are usually generous. I usually go early for dinner because it tends to get busy, but you can also go for lunch. I'm usually served by Marta, an excellent waitress—very attentive and friendly, and she serves very quickly. I recommend going; you'll like it. I've included some photos of what I usually order when I go.

A typical bar on Isaac Peral Street, with a small outdoor terrace. Good service, reasonable prices. No reservations are accepted, but there is a waiting list; you have to ask the waiters for a table. Some tapas come on disposable plastic plates.

No puedo opinar de la comida puesto que no tuve oportunidad pero sí del servicio. Tras más de 20 minutos sentados mi pareja y yo, y viendo cómo la camarera pasaba por nuestro lado sin atendernos, nos dice desde la otra punta del bar y delante de todos los clientes que había que nos tenemos que levantar porque hay gente fuera esperando. No voy a entrar en si había gente fuera esperando o no, yo no las vi pero puede ser que estuvieran y no las viera pero sí puedo hablar del trato. Y no me parece correcto y más cuando nos había visto sentados puesto que el bar es demasiado pequeño como para no hacerlo. Creo que hay muchas formas de decirlo y las que ella adoptó no fueron las apropiadas. Evidentemente, tras este trato no seré yo la que vuelva.
