As a thriller and romance author, I always notice places with good atmosphere and energy, and BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse on H Street is a spot I’ve been visiting for years. The restaurant is large but thoughtfully designed so it doesn’t feel like one huge open space. When you walk in, you’re greeted right away by the hostess near the entrance. There’s a nice raised bar seating area, a long main dining section, and another slightly separated raised dining space on the left side, which makes the layout feel comfortable even when it’s busy. BJ’s does a great job accommodating groups of different sizes, which makes it a good place to meet up with friends or family. I’ve always enjoyed their pizza, especially the deeper, richer style they serve here. It’s definitely a step above the typical pizza chain experience. The beer selection is also very good, and it’s nice to relax with a pizza and an occasional adult drink after a long day. The staff has always been friendly and attentive whenever I’ve visited. It’s a reliable place with good food, a welcoming layout, and an atmosphere that keeps people coming back.
We were seated quickly and our server, Alyssa R, was a ray of sunshine. She made our meals very enjoyable and she stayed on top of our orders. Our overall experience was positive, due to the amazing service and the delicious food.😋❤️🤙🏻👌🏻
Omg Letty!! It was honestly such a great experience. I’m more than happy to come back and spend $100+ again. Her personality and level of service truly deserve to be appreciated, and her experience should absolutely be recognized. She really leads by example for the rest of the team. 💛
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding Experience at BJ’s! My fiancé and I had one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had at BJ’s, and it was all thanks to Daisy C and Josh! Josh (who I believe is the manager) went above and beyond from the start. He gave us fantastic beer recommendations and even brought out several samples so we could find the perfect match. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality made the experience feel personal and special. Daisy C was absolutely phenomenal. She checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive, made sure everything was perfect, and truly made us feel taken care of. On top of that, she kindly offered to take our picture — such a thoughtful touch that made our night even more memorable. We both ordered the steak, and it was hands down the best steak we’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable. Between the incredible food and the exceptional service from Daisy and Josh, this visit was nothing short of amazing. We’ll definitely be coming back — and recommending this location to everyone we know! Thank you for making our night so special!
Had my 21st birthday here with my little sister, my grandmother, and my dad and it was phenomenal! The food was absolutely delicious I had the BJ'S smokehouse burger and it was by far the best burger I've ever had so props to the chef! And I had the berry blast cider which was so good, kinda like LaCroix but with alot more flavor and a little bit of alcohol Our server was Junior and he was just the sweetest person ever, me and my family really liked him! He was very attentive and was so helpful when it came to deciding my first alcoholic beverage. He even let me sample a few drinks before deciding. Altogether he was very friendly and fun to be around. He definitely deserves a promotion and I really hope he does get one
We had such a great dinner at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse tonight! The food was delicious, everything came out fresh and perfectly cooked, and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. A huge shoutout to JR for taking such great care of us! He gave amazing drink recommendations that were spot on and really elevated our whole dinner experience. It’s always the best when your server truly knows the menu and helps you try something new — and JR absolutely nailed it. Friendly, attentive, and just overall fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for JR again! 👏✨
Busy Friday night, even though we were given a 50 minute wait, we were seated in 25. Staff was friendly, quick and attentive. Rosa was great getting our drinks and food out in a timely manner. She cameo over to check on us frequently. We appreciated the teamwork from the hosts to back of the house. Jay came out and made sure tables had utensils and plates, as mentioned it was a busy night! Waitress/waiters/busboys all worked well together to make sure guests were taken care of. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed the conversations with staff during their busy time.
Ismael gave exceptional service! Him and Miguel worked very well together to provide fast, amazing and warm service. Both very attentive and helpful.Will be coming back soon👍🏼

We had a great experience celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Alyssa R gave great recommendations and was very attentive. My daughter even commented about how nice and happy she was :). The food and service were great and the 80’s music was an awesome bonus!
Valeria made my birthday feel very special, she was very quick and adamant about getting our drinks served quick from the bar. I just got off of work and came here to celebrate my birthday with my family, and she went above and beyond as a server. Valeria R, was phenomenal!!! I will definitely come back to this location with my friends due to her hospitality. The food came out quick and was warm. She made my birthday one for the books.

I have been going to BJs for a while now and I absolutely love it! Ismael always provides exceptional service and he goes above and beyond to make me and my party feel welcome and taken care of. The food is delicious. I absolutely recommend the guacamole bacon burger on burger Wednesday! Overall a pleasant experience and exceptional service! Will be a returning customer for a long time to come!
Really enjoyed our family lunch on our revisit. Youngest son redeemed a school reward Dubai Chocolate pizookie. I think that’s it’s great that they do that. Service from Alyssa today was exceptional. Enjoyed the 80s/90s music track in the background. Food was really good once again. My oldest son had the Tri-tip, which I thought was exceptional.
Came in for dinner and I was greeted by the sweetest server. George was so amazing he gave us the run down and recommended some dishes. The Dubai Chocolate Pizookie he recommended was so good. I would definitely recommend coming in for a Pizookie and great service!! 🙏🙏

Loved it. Had some time to kill, so stopped by bjs. Got a caprese salad, personal deep dish and dessert for$13, plus $5 house beers. Great value and the food was excellent. The service by Alyssa was top notch. Will return for sure the next time I'm in the area
Wonderful low lighting restaurant environment. Alyssa was so helpful and sweet! Every employee I’ve ever encountered at this Bjs has always been so friendly and welcoming. This is my favorite restaurant of all time. Perfect for any occasion!

The place is crowded, so make sure to join the waitlist as soon as you have a chance. The food was amazing but due to the high volume of people it took some time to be served. However, staff make it up by providing immediate service. The price/portion/quality of the dishes is definitely even. Ideal for a sports event or a dinner party. 10/10

I had a great experience at BJ’s Restaurant in the Chula Vista Mall! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything came out just right. A big shoutout to my server, Gabriel—he was an outstanding waiter! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout my visit. Service like his really makes the whole dining experience even better. I definitely will be coming back very soon ‼️

Service and atmosphere are always great here. However, after being too full from dinner I ordered a full size Butterfinger Pizookie to-go and when I got home and opened it I saw it was burnt! Totally dissappointed! I expect to have the same quality as in the restaurant when I order to-go.
Pi-zookies are the best thing on the menu 😋 I had the Dubai chocolate (delicious) and the original chocolate chip (always ago-to classic). For dinner I had the 15oz. Prime rib, mashed potatoes and asparagus 🥔🥩🥃🍽 with the berry of fashion (cheers).
