Abbiamo pranzato in veranda con vista aperta sul verde e provato piatti del menù alla carta ben fatti e ben presentati. Ottimo servizio e cordialità.

Cena piemontese con vista panoramica su provincia di Cuneo e Monviso. Menù fisso o alla carta con piatti tipici. Buonissimi soprattutto i primi (ravioli, tajarin) e i dolci della tradizione (bonet, torta di nocciole). Personale gentile e disponibile. Locale accogliente con bellissima terrazza panoramica.
Locale molto confortevole e cibo di qualità. La materia prima utilizzata per preparare le portate è di un livello decisamente alto come di alto livello è la preparazione! I proprietari sono gentili e disponibili. Impressionante la scelta di vini ma ancor più impressionante la qualità degli stessi, davvero molto buoni! Tornerò sicuramente in questo locale altre volte.
Qui c'è tutta l'Alta Langa con la sua qualità. Una vista incredibile, piatti fantastici, passione nel servizio e costi in linea. Ottime quantità. Gran bei vini. Pierluigi ti fa sentire a casa.
Esperienza stupenda! Siamo tornati qui dopo molti anni. Abbiamo pranzato con amici scegliendo dal menù alla carta. Vitello tonnato notevole così come i ravioli al sugo d' arrosto. Porzioni generose e ben presentate. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità. Davvero consigliato! Non perdetevelo!
Che dire… Ristorante molto intimo ed accogliente, con una terrazza panoramica dalla vista mozzafiato sulle langhe. Menu degustazione che ti appaga come gusto (credetemi… piatti con abbinamenti fantastici), come vista (impiattamenti a mio parere molto ben fatti) e soprattutto come pienezza (io sono un mangione… peso oltre 100 kg… ed ho faticato a finire tutto!!). Nel menu alla carta c’è davvero l’imbarazzo della scelta.. esattamente come per la selezione dei vini… cantina fornitissima!! Personalmente ho optato per il menu degustazione… e lo stra consiglio! Come prezzi, siamo abbondantemente nella media… e per il servizio offerto, il rapporto qualità / prezzo è davvero ottimo!! Ultimo, ma non meno importante, il personale: gentilezza, simpatia, professionalità e disponibilità nel consigliare i vari piatti ed i migliori abbinamenti. Personalmente, lo consiglio davvero… perché è raro trovare posti dove mangi così bene, così tanto e spendi il giusto. Complimenti… 5 stelle davvero meritate! Tornerò sicuramente!
Io e la mia compagna, abbiamo pranzato al castello domenica scorsa in compagnia di amici. Ambiente semplice e autentico, terrazza meravigliosa con una vista bellissima sul verde circostante. Il personale, cordiale ed attento. Io ho optato per un menu degustazione. Tutto molto buono, dagli antipasti, al dolce. Abbiamo scelto anche un fuori menù, i tajarin al tartufo nero, veramente ottimi e ben eseguiti. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e ci siamo rilassati. Conto onesto e per niente salato. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Grazie. Adatto anche per coloro che sono intolleranti al glutine.
Luogo incantevole senza tanti sfronzoli, pranzo ottimo, servizio impeccabile. Coccolati e accontentati per ogni richiesta. Avvisati che eravamo lì per un compleanno abbiamo trovato una torta per l'occasione buonissima. Ho fatto poche foto ai piatti perché i profumi erano troppo invitanti e non ne ho avuto nemmeno il pensiero.. se non di mangiare al volo. Complimenti Pierluigi!

Abbiamo cenato domenica sera al ristorante al Castello e posso dire solo una parola… eccezionale! Ogni portata dall’antipasto al dolce è stata un’escalation di sapori ed emozioni. Complimenti allo chef per la cura e la passione che trasmette con i suoi piatti e per l’accoglienza e professionalità riservata in sala. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!
Ambiente semplice ma molto accogliente, vista sulle Langhe, buon vino e buon cibo della tradizione piemontese rivisitato in chiave moderna. Ottimi la battuta di Fassona, l'insalata russa e il vitello tonnato, le "raviole al vin" e la milanese di Langa (anche gli altri, ma questi sono i miei preferiti!). Il titolare è sempre gentile e disponibile. Vi consiglio di chiamare e prenotare anche se siete in due: anche se è in un paese piccolo, è molto frequentato. È un posto da scoprire!
In coppia, a pranzo, oggi. Fuori nuvole basse e pioggia, dentro atmosfera calda e musicale. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il menù degustazione: tutta la tradizione di Langa nelle pietanze proposte, belle a vedersi e assai gustose. Una fornita carta dei vini, ma noi abbiamo preferito optare per il vino "della casa": un ottimo Dolcetto DOCG di Dogliani! Che piacevolissima scoperta questo ristorante, seppur quasi anonimo dalla strada. Affabile e simpatico lo chef, Pierluigi Vivalda, professionale e sorridente il personale di sala. Complimenti! P.s.: quanto mi piace ed emoziona veder prendere la comanda con penna e taccuino. 😉
While wandering around Big Bench, we decided to stop here for lunch. We enjoyed a delicious braised beef and a fantastic pork cheek, all accompanied by seasonal vegetables. To finish, a hazelnut cake with zabaglione, a delight. What more can we say? We recommend everyone to enjoy the magnificent scenery and good food.
A hidden spot in the heart of the Langhe, its location means it's not crowded with tourists. Authentic. Genuine. Comfortable. The tables and location give you a homey feel. Equally authentic food. Typical grandmother's dishes. Decent portions. Excellent prices. Exceptional quality. Menu of the day for €35 with 1 appetizer, 1 first course, 1 second course, 1 dessert. Everything delicious. The starter tartare was fantastic.

We stopped here on the way back to France from Turin and it was a great find. Delicious homemade local dishes and a friendly welcome. They have a great selection of local wines to buy as well. Worth the detour off the motorway.
A little gem, the selection of regional wines is excellent. The culinary creations and the atmosphere are so fitting, the owner and his team always come up with surprises. The style is not pretentious, but warm. An insider tip, and it should stay that way.

Excellent food, all typical Piedmont dishes, beautiful setting on the south west crest of Le Langhe (530m) with terrace looking out over Monviso. Local dolcetto wine a must - very good choice of wine, if you so wish, prices not expensive at all. Staff very positive & welcoming. Buon appetito!

Fantastic restaurant! Absolutely stunning location up on a hill with a great view for sunset. Food was delicious. It is the local cuisine, he makes everything by hand and it is perfectly executed, and the desserts are really amazing. The prices are reasonable for the quality and unbeatable location. The new owner is a great chef and at the same time, very kind and welcoming to us and even personally explained the menu to us. We had a great dining experience and we hope to visit again!

Provato menu degustazione (allego le foto delle portate): 4 antipasti, un primo, un secondo, un dolce, vino della casa, acqua, caffè e coperto, speso euro 41 a testa... il servizio è buono, il cibo moderno nella presentazione, l'arredo è datato. Peccato non sia più aperta la panoramica terrazza al piano di sopra. Altrove avrei speso qualcosa in meno (sui 35 euro) con identica qualità, porzioni normali come evidenziano le foto allegate, non esiste bis, alla fine eravamo tutti sazi ugualmente, ma è un posto dove non ti abbuffi, se lo vuoi fare si sale di prezzo.

I would have liked to do more, but today they failed to excite me. Let's start with the positives. The staff was excellent, the lady with glasses was very friendly and the red-haired girl was helpful and cheerful. The tasting menu idea was a good one, and if you prefer, they also offer the à la carte menu. The dated location could use some external work, but the view is beautiful and some embellishments would make it even more spectacular. We opted for the tasting menu and started with cold appetizers, a knife-cut tartare (Russian salad) and two pieces of cheese. The first course was very salty (and this is unfortunately a flaw I've found in other dishes), the Russian salad with saffron mayonnaise was good, and my husband said the cheese was delicious, but for me it was too heavy for a meal. The hot appetizer was a mushroom tart with fondue (also with lots of saffron threads, which I don't like at all), and I'd say it was quite good. We both had first courses, gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese and hazelnuts, which were too milky and lacked something. Agnolotti with roast sauce were salty and too heavy (for me). For second courses, a braised meat and a wild boar, both accompanied by carrots, courgettes and baked potatoes (very few, unfortunately, I would have preferred more vegetables). My braised meat was a disappointment, not cooked properly and a bit too spicy, the wild boar was completely wrong and only tasted of cinnamon. For dessert, a cake with zabaglione was quite good and a very good nougat semifreddo (I had asked for a little chocolate on top but unfortunately they didn't have it). Price per person: €35.
