For a restaurant that was founded in 1936. It’s an amazing experience coming back in time. In general terms, everything was great from flavor, attention to detail and of course the tradition that has kept this place going for 87 years. That being said, they say we came it seems they had an issue with they staff and had a big stock of dirty plates in front of the bar. If you are looking for a traditional restaurant that serves good food (price is good considering location + quality + type) don’t hesitate to dine at Danubio.

Prawns were super overpriced! 750 mxn for 5 prawns was ridiculous. The mussels were good, not too expensive, however they did not come with any sides. Wine selection is good, a bit overpriced too. I was surprised they still offered Peñafiel sparkling water despite the arsenic issue in all the news. Ambience is ok, not too loud, service is fast and friendly. Desserts are pretty good, they have churros from El Moro and pastries from a really good bakery in Polanco. The green sauce in the mussels and the sea bass was good, but was kind of salty. Overall a good seafood restaurant but it is not worth the long trip if you don’t live close to downtown. Parking is nearby.

Food was ok, overpriced honestly and when you order they tell you that the dishes come with sides (salad and potatoes), but when you receive your food you don’t get anything! Be very careful when you order and what you ask for because whatever they can trick you out of they do. Beware.

Came here with my family based on google's reviews, prior to a show on Bellas Artes. From the start the waiter seemed angry and annoyed, I had a bad gut feeling but did not listen to my instincts and stayed. My wife and l ordered parrillada de mariscos and got terribly sick later that night for 2 days, vomiting and diarrhea. My kids ordered something different and were OK. We lost 2 days of vacation from eating at this highly rated restaurant. All the street food in CDMX was perfect no ill affects; do not be deceived by the high ratings. Even if we were just unlucky getting sick at this place; the service was horrible.
