Eating at Koku was an absolute treat. The service was quick, attentive, and genuinely kind — they make you feel welcome right away. The ambiance is casual yet refined, with a cozy modern touch that fits perfectly for either a solo lunch or a night out with friends. But the real star here is the food. The ramen is easily among the best in town — rich, balanced, and deeply flavorful. Every bite feels crafted with care. The sushi deserves its own mention: fresh, delicate, and beautifully presented. If I had to nitpick, the music could use a little upgrade to match the rest of the experience. Still, Koku delivers a remarkable dining experience that stands out in the city’s Japanese scene. Highly recommended for anyone serious about great ramen and sushi.
Who would have thought finding the real deal, top notch sushi in MX City (but this is my first time to visit). When I come back, I’m coming back here. My measure is always Uni…do they have it? Fresh? And will tell actually tell you if it out of season and don’t order it. Well, they checked all the boxes!
Great sushi food. Nice relaxed atmosphere with a Japanese theme. Comfortable restaurant with terrace and indoors. The food was actually good and the price reasonable. Service good. Situated in a trendy area in Mexico city. There is no parking available, so it's best to walk there. There is a pizza place next door, which I think is part of the same group. Recommended.
The food was super tasty. They have a lot of options in the menu and recently they add new dishes. We order the sea food Ramen and was awesome. We also order Nigiri, shiahito peppers and gyozas. For dessert we had mochis and it was a big portion. Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere of the place is extraordinary it gets you the feeling you are in a little place in Asia.
A real great place , I regret not to have found it before during my stay , basically everything is perfect to start with an amazing service , qualitative and super fast , the food is just out of this world! French products, row materials and put together with sophistication- and the place is just Fashin Japanese which make you feel at ease at the first time . The quality price is just amazing , honestly the place to go in Mexico City ! Congratulations to all the team involved, you are providing an excellent job , well done !

Great ambience, friendly staff and the food was delicious. Very close to where we stayed so it was convenient for us , about a 5 minute walk.

This is my second review of this great Japanese restaurant. We love it. Lis and Mauricio (Hernandez) are great waiters. This time we ordered giant clams (chocolatas) of two types: raw with ponzu s…
Recommended by our concierge, and it could not have been better. I have eaten a lot of ramen in many places and this is among the best. The service and atmosphere are lovely. GO HERE.
Very reasonably priced sushi near Angel de Independencia. We tried the sushi omakase. Unbeknownst to us, all the sushi was served at the same time. It should be called a sampler rather than omakase. Fish was fresh and delicious. A typical sushi you would find on your neighborhood but at half the price. Great value.
The food here is diverse and tasty, and I really like the atmosphere, but if you come here during peak hours don’t expect quick service at all. It’s hard to get the attention of the waiters and for some reason takes them forever to bring the check. So if you’re not in a hurry, this is a great place for lunch or dinner!
A smartly decorated Japanese restaurant with friendly staff. Unfortunately, despite the place not being full, my food still took a long while to come out. Not terrible, but definitely not the best Japanese I’ve had in a city that excels in amazing Japanese food. Still, a very decent option if you’re around and there isn’t a long way to get in.
We went there attracted by good google maps rating and convenient location next to our hotel at CDMX. The atmosphere is cool and loved outdoor seating area. The service was impeccable and timings perfect. However our expectations on the food were definitely not met. Given the prices I was expecting better sushi quality. Just a fair meal.
A nice variety of Japanese plates covering different styles. Flavor and quality of the food are very good. wine list practically non existent. Service could improve.
I really wanted to like this place. The edamame and the curry gyoza were really good, as were the cocktails. However, our entrees took a very long time to come out, we weren’t even hungry by the time the plates got there. The food was cold and the poke bowl did not come with the extras we ordered. When I asked the waitress about it, she said I miscommunicated my order and made it my fault. She did not offer to bring it anyway. To make matters worse, when our check came, the item she claimed I did not order was itemized. It was not a good experience which is a bummer because this place could’ve been a great experience.

Pretty disappointing. Feel like it has potential as the venue is cool and the presentation and quality of the ingredients is decent. However, all of the food is so sweet it’s like eating a dessert for every course.
The rule is when the menu has too many options the food is mediocre. Sushi rolls fall apart. Curries have odd flavors. Staff is helpful and decor is nice but this restaurant is for young people looking for inexpensive meals
