Un magnífico lugar para el precopeo, la atención es muy buena por parte de todo el equipo, los bartenders se toman el tiempo de explicarte la inspiración e ingredientes de cada trago que pides. Las bebidas son muy ricas y el ambiente es muy relajado excelente para una cita o una salida con amigos. ⚡️

Nuevo cocktail bar con buen concepto y mucho potencial. Entras por Fónico pero subes por el elevador de la derecha. Es un espacio abierto, de buen tamaño, bonito. Como era la inauguración solo había un par de tragos de la casa pero probamos todos y estaban buenísimos, así que sin duda regresaré para el menú completo. El servicio fue un poco lento cuando estaba más lleno, entendible siendo el primer día, pero dejamos el feedback y lo tomaron con gran disposición. Buen ambiente y buenos drinks. Recomiendo venir a conocerlo. Update después de 3 semanas abierto y venir varias veces: GRAN lugar. Ampliamente recomendado. Buenos drinks, buena música y buen ambiente.

Uno de los mejores bares en cdmx. La atención es bastante buena, la forma en la que te presentan el menú también es bastante novedosa. Los cocteles son muy ricos. Definitivamente vale la pena visitarlo.

De los mejores cócteles que he probado. Cada bebida en Rayo cuenta una historia y refleja la riqueza de México en cada detalle. El equipo detrás de la barra es espectacular, auténticos profesionales que dominan su oficio y hacen que la experiencia sea aún mejor. Atención impecable, ambiente top y un servicio cálido. Si buscas algo fuera de lo común, este es EL lugar.

Rayo es una experiencia total. Los cócteles son increíbles, claramente inspirados en la historia y la esencia de México, con sabores bien pensados y ejecutados a la perfección. Se nota que todo el bar staff son verdaderos maestros de la barra: conocen, explican y elevan cada trago. El servicio y el trato son excelentes de principio a fin. Sin duda, el mejor lugar para ir a probar algo diferente y salir sorprendido.

Me encanta este lugar, jamás me ha decepcionado, muy buena comida los chicos super atentos y amables, los cócteles son buenos, valen su precio y el ambiente súper agradable. Siempre buena idea para comenzar con buenos drinks.

Service is top notch, and the few food options are perfectly sorted and pair well with the drinks. Paula, the head bartender, is an amazing person to have a chat with! Great cocktails, truly unique. They greet you at the door and bring you up an elevator while telling you the back story of the place. We ordered some of the older cocktails at the back of the menu and they were amazing. The bartenders were friendly and spoke English. We went early so it wasn’t busy yet.

The bars atmosphere is chic, and still definitely deserving of the top 50 best bar title. Drinks are innovative, and service can be personalized if you're not afraid to speak out they will do things right. My favorite drink is here. The pulque cracker is bussin 🤤

We went to Rayo last night (Monday) and had a wonderful time. Eric and Aldo made us incredible cocktails and talked to us about the details for each one we ordered. The music was perfect. We have already told all our friends to visit. We went to handshake the night before and had a better time at Rayo. I also love how mindful they are about allergy restrictions. Can’t wait to come back!

The bar is in a restaurant with beautiful architecture. I had the number four, which was an interesting and beautiful looking cocktail and you can taste each ingredient. Impressed. would go back to try more on the menu as the drinks and they’re toppings, were unique and interesting combinations

Ambience Guests enter through a discreet door on a quiet street, then ascend an old elevator or a striking grand staircase to a dimly lit lounge. The central bar acts as the heart of the space, providing a dramatic focal point for the evening. The descent down the grand staircase offers a memorable exit. Service Service at Rayo is attentive and refined. Bartenders speak English and offer detailed explanations of the cocktails’ ingredients and their mythology.  Food/Drink Drinks weave together local spirits, creative infusions and theatrical presentation. offerings  The bar offers small plates designed to complement drinks. While we only sampled the panela popcorn, it was addictive, salty, crunchy and perfectly paired with cocktails. Full dishes, including tacos and other modern Mexican-style plates, populate the menu, though we didn’t have room after a heavy meal at Fonico. Overall Rayo Cocktail Bar is a standout destination for cocktails, ambience and design. It is an ideal spot to begin or end an evening

This place is great. The cocktails here are as good as anywhere else I've been. The bar is in a beautiful old building, and they lean into the aesthetic. And best of all, for a cocktail bar with so much going for it the staff was not pretentious at all. Very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely repeat here.

We went to this bar. We were there when they opened it up at 6:00 p.m. there's four of us, the service was fantastic. The drinks were reasonably priced and out of bounds... The drinks were crazy and flavorful and weird combinations of so much fun.. then we get to the food. That's off to the chef of management with coming up with these combinations. Their appetizer sized but when they hit the table almost emotional if the flavors with the food and the drink combinations

We had a fantastic time here! Made a reservation on a whim and ended up blown away. The drinks were both inventive and delicious, especially the sampler, which gave us a fun way to try a range of flavors. We grabbed seats at the bar and were lucky to have Paola as our bartender. Even though she was juggling a full bar, she took the time to chat with us about the drinks, share some stories, and make the whole experience feel personal. A great mix of creativity, atmosphere, and hospitality.

Experience overall is 5 stars! The complimentary drink on the elevator ride is a nice tough. The drinks were incredible and very creative. Each one was unique and delicious. Service was great and they even came around and gave us popcorn to snack on. This is my favorite cocktail spot besides Handshake.

Great bar to have a chill night, cocktails were so different and full of stories as well. We have tried 7 cocktails that interested us by choosing the tasting option which did not disappoint. Our bartender explained everything in detail which was so refreshing. It wasn’t crowded since it was a week day.

Combinan bebidas con gran maestría de producto local no tan conocido para lograr cocktailes que te hacen viajar hasta las zonas más recónditas de México. Los fines de semana recomiendo realizar reserva. Sin duda merece la pena ir.

Lindo lugar. Buena ambientacion. Buena musica. Varios lugares comodos para sentarse. Es original y ludica la forma que tienen de presentar los tragos de autor. Fuimos 19.30 previa reserva. A esa hora es mas tranquilo y la musica no esta tan alta. Nos recibieron con un spritz preparado en el elevador frente nuestro mientras subiamos al bar. Genial!!! La atencion fue muy buena y muy buen ingles la muchacha que nos atendio. Pedimos 4 tragos. Estaban muy ricos y frescos. Me encantan que de garnish traigan un comestible.

Cocktails were phenomenal, really liked the flavours and presentation. Service was also top notch. The background music was also good. The bar is in a covered top floor terrace. It stood out to me that there was clearly no design effort involved, and the lighting was just off. The building itself is really beautiful with a lot of character, and I think the bar could have a higher potential with better interiors hence my rating.

El concepto es interesante, la atención es muy buena, te reciben con una bebida en el elevador. De comida pedimos los tacos de pato que estaban muy ricos, de bebidas pedimos los samples que en su mayoría no nos gustaron

Was pretty excited to try this bar while visiting the city because it was listed in the top 100 bars in the world. Upon entering you ride up the city’s 2nd oldest elevator to the bar. We were escorted by a very friendly host who gave us a welcome drink on the way up. It was a very fun and unique entrance, but this is pretty much where the good vibes ended. The space itself doesn’t really feel intimate or special and the service at the table was pretty mediocre. Cocktails were fine weren’t particularly creative or amazing and I hated that the menu was a QR code. With so many good options in the city, I wouldn’t put this at the top of my list.

Well, the host and the entrance are definitely the best part, make you think you arrived to the right place with a special entrance and a sample of drinks. Sitting on the bar, which should be the best place to be amazed by the skill of the bar, waiting to taste the mixologist skills but unfortunately, most of the time the bartender was busy with only one specific client on the bar. Felt ignored most of the night as I’m no Spanish speaker and the bartender approached only my partner that speaks Spanish, as well was even given a bill that wasn’t mine. Few unwelcoming things happen during the evening, but when I was asking for a sweet cocktail base with Absinthe the bartender said he know how to mix it only with whisky… very strange, so I just gave up and ask for the bill. The music is nice the design is great and comfortable, but after visiting multiple “best 50 bars” I don’t know how this place got in the list. Nevertheless they have some very unique drinks that base on local Mexican spirits and the 2 star is only for the experience and not for quality.
