Great food. Amazing coffee. Service was good. Came at 8:30 on Saturday and it wasn’t busy. I ordered the Scrambled egg and Gruyère croissant with smoked salmon and it was flaky and delicious! Fresh veggies.

Had a fantastic breakfast here! I ordered the steel cut oatmeal with walnuts and honey, and it was the perfect mix of hearty and sweet—exactly what I was looking for. My hot latte was spot on too, served in this massive “bowl” mug that was really fun to hold—once it cooled down a bit, of course. My wife had the Ham and Gruyère croissant, which was flaky, buttery, and delicious. She paired it with a cold brew, which was refreshing and smooth. The atmosphere here is cozy, with a warm and inviting vibe that makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy your meal. The service was friendly and attentive, rounding out an all-around great experience. Highly recommend this place for a laid-back, delicious breakfast in Claremont.

This place is so nice, classy, and quaint. I didn't even know it was here and I've lived in this area for decades. Lots of cool pastries and drinks available and pretty tasty too. Tons of seating. Id say this is a great study spot, day date, or meetup spot too. The employees here are super nice as well. A+ experience.

The mushroom quiche is full of flavor and the perfect portion for brunch. I really enjoyed the dressing on my salad as well. Husband loved his salmon tartine and the strong espresso. Thank you to the kind bakers who made a fresh baguette for us while we dined! It was so nice to have a hot baguette to take home. Will be returning again soon.

We ordered the quinoa salad, the mushroom quiche, the black lentil bowl, and a mixed berry tart. EVERYTHING was a hit! The plating was beautiful and the flavors were delicious. The service was great as well! Overall great experience!

This place was super cute and cozy! We went for a bridal brunch and they were very accommodating to us. We didn't make a reservation but they were able to seat us at a long table with plenty of space. The food was delicious and light. The matcha coffee was good too with different milk choices available! I'd come here again.

It is a nice restaurant, located in downtown area of Claremont! It has the atmosphere of a French restaurant. Furthermore, their meals are derived from French cuisine. Of course, those are really mild and bread-based. Still, they are delicious. I have been here several times, since it reminded my childhood, when I used to live in France. Of course, this establishment can get pricey. So, I would recommend only to visit this restaurant, when discretionary funds are available.

Normally am not into a place like this but really loved the food!! I was a bit worried it wouldn't be enough but it definitely filled me up. Everyone at the table loved their order and we each got very different things (always a good sign when everyone is happy). Pricing felt comparable to the area and I was happy with what I received.

I really thought this place was amazing. It is my first time trying it, and I was looking for someplace to head healthier options since I don't want to load up in carbs. My salad was zucchini noodle Pad Thai. Originally it comes with the ruler but I don't like arugula so I had them change it for spinach. And I added chicken. The salad is huge, but because it is a healthy salad easily was able to eat the whole thing and not feel overstuffed or anything. I would definitely be coming back to this place I was not disappointed, and I am a salad lover so this is going to be my go-to place when I'm craving a good salad.

Fantastic food! First time having gazpacho and this restaurant made me a fan for life! The quiche was also incredibly fluffy and rich with cheese. The staff was also very accommodating and pleasant. Will definitely stop by again to try a few of those delectable pastries up front.

Absolutely loved this. They play classical music too - but not too loud. The wood is so pretty & the food is good. Ethan is a great worker. Thank you!

Nice outside if there’s no sun. Hard to get a full table in the shade otherwise. Outdoor chairs are uncomfortable. I asked for cinnamon on my cappuccino twice and never got it. Food is very tasty, and there’s a nice variety.

Amazing location, restaurant, and environment. The indoor vibe is great, especially the huge communal table where customers sit side by side, a concept I really love. The outdoor is cosy too. The staff is friendly, smiling and helpful. However, we were very disappointed by both of our dishes. : / The Croque Madame came with an unexpected twist: the bread was naan (why?). I felt bad recommending this dish to my wife, it was not the classic French experience we were hoping for. I mean, a twist can bring a positive surprise, but the taste did not work. The naan was too chewy to match. The Quiche Lorraine portion is perfect and generous. However, it was unevenly heated, some bites were hot, others cold, and the bottom crust was wet, soggy. It really felt like it had been reheated in a microwave... For the price and such beautiful place, I expected more consistency and authenticity in these classic dishes, especially from a restaurant whose name means "the daily bread." 4 stars because these are easily rectified and despite of this deception on the food, we had a great moment as the service was top notch! Thank you for the great service!

We went here for lunch and ate outside in the patio as it was a nice sunny day. The table was sticky and did not feel clean even though the server cleaned it with a spray and towel. The menu stuck to the table and made a peeling sound when removed. We ordered the prosciutto manchego fig sandwich. It was good but a very small bite and came with a small salad. The salad was fresh with some sweet tasty tomatoes. The bread is homemade and fresh and tasty. We also ordered the quiche with ham that came with bread and salad for a heartier bite. It was good. They give you free refills on the ice tea and coffee.

Great place for healthy food, I lowered my review to 4 stars because there were kitchen staff issues and increased the wait times. Other than that, we had a very good experience, we enjoyed breakfast and our food was excellent as well as the delicious coffee... We will definitely come back again!! Thank you.

Go early as it can get crowded especially on the weekends. Tables are very close together, but doable. The ambiance is great and the selection of food is robust enough for most. Coffee quality is amazing.

Weird experience. It's not often i rate places on the lower end but to be clear, this review is about the service. This story ends in switching servers for no reason. When we walked in, no one was standing right there but we did get seated right away. We waited maybe 8 minutes before they came by to take a drink order. One of us was in the rest room so I ordered waters, right away in didn't get a particularly friendly interaction, it was neutral so I didn't think much of it. When the other person in my party came by, the waitress came back and asked if we wanted anything else and didn't come back k with the waters, fine. She then takes our food order. It was at least 15-20 minutes when she comes back to tell us they are out of what we ordered. Additionally, I asked if I could switch breads on my sandwich when I first ordered and she gave me one option. I pointed at the bread options on the menu and then ahe said well you can have sourdough. I thennasked again if I could have rye, again, making it difficult for a yes or no answer. Finally we ordered something just to ordered beczuse they didnt have two things we wanted. Fine. Restaurants gst busy and they are out. That wasn't the issue. The issue was how long it took to inform us but also not really offering other alternatives or even a piece of bread or something to make up for it. I don't care to get things waived or free stuff, it was just the whole approach and negative experience - what threw me off and prompted me to write this review was that after we had already ordered everything and got our food, a new server popped up saying the other one was going home - not the case. By the time we left, our original server was still serving other people, ao clearly she just didnt want to help us from the beginning. We weren't even rude, we just were hungry, tired and disappointed and I wouldn't go back for that reason. I've been to other locations and loved the ambience but the energy here was not ideal unfortunately. Maybe another time in the future.

Okay so I’ve been here twice now and really not impressed. The first time I ordered avocado toast and it was just okay. This time I ordered a breakfast sandwich. The server said they might be out of the brioche, no problem let’s do sourdough. She came back later saying they’re out of sourdough and have no other bread but I could pay extra to get it on a croissant. I really couldn’t comprehend why I would need to pay extra to get the sandwich if they are out of bread. Another issue was that there were about a dozen gnats flying around our table and quite a few smashed and smeared on the window by previous guests as well. I politely let the manager know & he just shrugged it off saying that this table is the only one with the bug issue (ok if you know about the problem why even seat people here!). Anyway a new manager came by to discuss the bread issue and she was immediately hostile. She eventually agreed to give me the sandwich on the croissant without the up charge though. But then our server never wanted to come back and check on us, which was a shame because we weren’t upset with her or rude at all. She kept sending the mean manager back over. My sandwich ended up being really delicious on the croissant and I would definitely pay the up charge if I ever have to go back. My table mates weren’t impressed with their food unfortunately (the tomato soup was pretty similar to a chunky marinara & the egg skillet was oddly dry)

Worst customer service . I co e here 3 times a week and this is the second time Taylor has serviced me. When I say rude . She should not be a server. Usually when you are served the server should at lease greet you. She did none of that. First thing she said, are you ready to order? And then she dropped the waters off and after we said thank you 3 times . She never responded with a “ your welcome” she so rude. Le pain lost a good customer. Service is a hey component. At least a “hi how are you? “ would have been nice. I’m not expecting much more. Worst service ever. I Walked out with my family because I refuse to be treated badly in a place I’m spending a lot of money. I hope Taylor can shape up her attitude or go find another job. Not a good fit for her.
