Great family restaurant, solid menu of Italian and Greek dishes. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. We had a birthday celebration there for 7 and they were really helpful. A relaxed atmosphere with great food and broad selection of food items.

This was our first visit here and it was really good. From the bread to the salad to our meal everything was really good. I got the chicken marsala and I have enough leftovers for two more meals. The staff is a bit slow but that's because of how busy it is and still they are very pleasant.

We've been here many times and it's consistently good. Favorites are the gyro salad and Moussaka. The salad vegetables are always fresh and portions generous. Don't miss the creamy spinach artichoke dip and Avgolemono soup as appetizers - both are fantastic! Service friendly and accommodating as well. Always love supporting non-chains. This place is worth a visit.

The food is delicious with very generous portion sizes. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming and our service was impeccable. We always have a great dining experience there.

Had a 6:30 reservation for a group of 7 last night; we were celebrating my dad's birthday. Besides a little hiccup during the seating (they tried to put us at a table that could only comfortably fit maybe 5 people), everything was great! Our server was excellent, wish I could remember her name for a shout out. The food came out quickly and everything came out as ordered! Never had to ask for a refill or more napkins, and she was quick with the bill. If you are trying to go out with a large group and are concerned with making sure there is something for everyone, I can't recommend Grecian Gardens highly enough. We ordered steak, pastas, burger, pizzas, salads, and a few apps. EVERYONE was happy with their food and it was under $180 before tip.

Grecian Gardens is my favorite pizza place. $20 can get you a loaf of warm bread and a large pizza which easily feeds 2-3. Not only are the prices extremely fair, especially for a sit-down restaurant, but the food is delicious, the staff is kind and attentive, the music is great and the walls are covered with a huge mural of a Greek seascape. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

My family and I eat here nearly every time I am in town. The chicken souvlaki salad with homemade pita and tzatziki are perfection. Mom and I just went for Mother's Day. It was packed, and we were still served with care in a timely manner. Food was his quality as always, and the staff friendly in spite of what I know was a long, busy day of service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a group of ten and were seated at a large table near the entrance. We were easily able to converse with everyone even though the dining room was full and did not feel crowded when people passed out table. Very pleased with quick service and portions served.

Brought my wife and son there for his birthday and the place was packed!! We got a table right away and the wait staff worked together to make sure we were served in a timely manner. The food was excellent and after we ate the owner came to the table to wish my 8 year old son a happy birthday and offered him a treat!! All in all we were very impressed. My husband and I stopped for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was extremely helpful and pleasant, anticipating anything we might need. I ordered a spinach artichoke dip which was absolutely delicious! It arrived hot with toasted pita chips and carrots and celery. I also ordered a Cobb salad, which was so plentiful that I had to take it home. My husband tried a small sausage pizza which was so good that he ate it all! The food was plentiful and hot, and the restaurant was not crowded, so our COVID fears were somewhat abated. We will definitely go back! Enjoy!

Love Grecian Gardens! I don't think I have ever had a bad meal. I love the chicken ambrosia, but this time, I had the Chicken Sorrentino Panini. It was delicious and very large. It was almost two regular sandwiches that you would make at home. I will definitely be ordering it again on another trip there! Our waitress was friendly and checked on us several times.

It's a step back in time..For some reason, I didn't expect a scene out of "My Greek Wedding," but it was cool. The waitress was great and good delivered amazingly quick. Food was good, only knock is the seasoned fries. I prefer them au natural with just salt.

Kim was our server again and, man! That lady hustles! You can tell she really wants to please everyone and makes sure you have everything you need. You couldn't hear the music (3:00), but after we asked, had someone turn it on. Makes the atmosphere so much better. Food was delicious, and we'll be back, again. : ) Our Server Kim was super friendly and just great. They were very busy, and she was hustling to make sure everyone was attended to. Food very good - fish, strip & shrimp scampi, greek salad wrap. Loved the music overhead which added just the right energy & atmosphere! Will be back. Thanks Kim!

The best New England clam chowder.... also... secret menu hack... ask about their "quart" of soup to go.... you will not be disappointed usually available for Amy soup of the day as long as quantity is available... and that "quart" is more like a half gallon or more... easily feed 3 to 5 people!

Had some confusion when ordering a white pizza with pepperoni, I didn't realize it would come with broccoli. When I called they were very nice about fixing it which was very appreciated. All the food was very good and the service was excellent.

With a wide variety of meals on the menu (all delicious with huge portions) and plenty of seating in the restaurant and at the bar, Grecian is a great place for a family get together or a date night. The servers and staff always take special care to make our large group feel welcome, and work to accommodate us with my niece who has special needs -- a gift for my sister and her husband to be able to dine out while feeling right at home. Thanks so much for all that you do!

The food was delicious as always. The only issue this trip was the waitress forgot our appetizer all together. It was not on our bill, so not a big deal.

Friends invited me over for dinner. Very pleasant place, our waitress was very kind and the food is so good! The salad that comes with the entrees was so refreshing and the house dressing with is is so good. The moussaka that followed was divine!

This is a cute and cozy restaurant located on Route 9 in Clifton Park NY. They offer both Greek and Italian cuisine. The prices are reasonable and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.!

Just had my husband's surprise birthday dinner at Grecian Gardens. They are so accommodating!! No extra charge to bring in your own birthday cake. We were allowed to bring balloons to decorate. The wait staff was wonderful and the food was delicious!! Highly recommend!!!

Fave Greek restaurant! How have I not reviewed this place after going 10+ times? I have never had to wait for a table and the staff is always pleasant. I love the stuffed grape leaves, avglomeno soup and gyro salad. They are not skimpy with the dressing which I like. My family has also had the chicken parm, gyro deluxe and multiple kinds of pizzas and never had a miss. It’s clean and very “Greek” themed with their wall paintings and decor. I will continue to go anytime I’m in Halfmoon!

Stopped here on a Sunday evening and it was busy, but we were seated quickly. I've forgotten the name of the server, a blonde woman with glasses, she provided us with exceptional service. The busser turned over tables faster than Ive ever seen and they were clean! The food was excellent, and I highly recommend the fried ravioli. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Great restaurant. A bit on the pricier side, but the portions are large. One of the few restaurants in the area that serve chicken French at all and it's good. Chicken Parmesan is huge. The Greek pick chopa are tasty too. House dressing on the salad is divine.

My 80th birthday celebration with close friends and family. Jan organized this night and it was appreciated by all especially me. Grecian Gardens was very accommodating. Food was excellent and plentiful. The owners went out of their way to please us and the waitstaff was great. When Jan tried to leave a tip she was told it was already included in the bill! Good food - price are about average for an Italian restaurant. Atmosphere is nice and the service is good. The red sauce I found to be quite good here - it’s not really acidic but more on the sweet side. The chicken parm is excellent - the size of the meal is enough for two dinners!

We arrived at almost 8pm. Not a busy time. I ordered the special, Chicken Parm., it was cooked well with plenty of cheese. I chose angel hair pasta, there was plenty of sauce on it and not over cooked. The special did not come with a salad. My companion ordered at 6 cut pepperoni pizza. It was OK , it was brick oven bake. Our server brought nicely warmed bread and butter to the table. The fresh brewed ice teas were great. Over all a nice place to stop and take advantage of their $9.00 daily special. In a pleasant atmosphere.

The food was perfect, our server was not...we couldn't get her to smile, and she was absent most of the meal, and left dirty plates on table, empty glasses, with no refill offered. Didn't ask about dessert---we asked about fresh coffee, she brought us the old gray stuff, and the bill...we tipped well, as we just always do, but if we go in again, and she is our server we will ask for someone else...

It was a nice relaxed weekday lunch. The spinach artichoke dip was amazing. Ordered a large pizza so I could have lots of leftovers. The pizza is good if you like a slightly doughier crust edge. The mozzarella was very cheesy and the toppings were quite abundant.

Party of 6 for a birthday lunch. Food was great. Service was lacking. Dirty plates were left on the table and refills were non existent. She didn't even ask if we wanted dessert.

Great selection at a great price. Not everything tastes as good as it looks (stuffed mushrooms), but most of it was very good (spicy chicken, tilapia).

The food was great! Our only complaint was that our waitstaff was rude. When we asked for anything (extra drinks, more bread) she got annoyed and had a tone and said she would “check”. Our son, who is autistic, asked when his pizza would be ready and as we were telling him he needed to wait she said “it will be ready when it’s ready”. I had to go ask for our check and for boxes because she kept walking past us and not checking in, as soon as I turned to walk away my boyfriend said she shook her head at me and made a face. We would go back but try to be in someone else’s section.

Overall a good experience. U for our mozzarella sticks had to be sent back because they weren't done and when they came back they still weren't done. They did take them off the bill though. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was a really big portion and Tara ordered white chicken and both were very good. Minestrone soup was very good as well.

Much better!.. they did miss on the gluten free, again. Not sure if the back is not totally understanding that to some people, it's a very big deal. Definitely did not care that the same burger was scrapped off the previous non-gluten free bun and thrown on the new GF one.

Initially, there was some confusion with our reservation, however the owners and staff were very accommodating, professional and understanding. The service was great and so was the food!

Food was excellent and front of house was great. However I observed some disturbing things in the kitchen through the pass window. Such as a cook spitting onto the ground while preparing food, and another wiping their mouth with their hand and then preparing food. While I personally was not too concerned, it is still alarming to see those things in a kitchen environment.

Comfortable, large open dining room, a bit worn, quick delivery of meals but server wasn't friendly. I really liked the bourbon tip steak $25 with large serving of sauteed vegetables, large pretty mound of buttery pilaf. Others in the family liked the pizza, fish and chips.

I had broiled salmon which was slightly over cooked. The house salad dressing is good. The bread is served warm.

We waited 30 minutes for our drinks to come, then another 20 minutes for salad, followed by another half hour wait for our food. The waitress was overwhelmed, and they were obviously short staffed.

The food was phenomenal but unfortunately the service was sooooo slow. Our server never came back to ask how the food was after she dropped it off. We also had to ask another server to get our server so we could get the check after we sat there for a while after we finsihed our meal. And the table next to us asked the hostess where their food was bc it was taking so long.

Food is pretty alright, portions are good. Dining in is always better, as take out is hit or miss. When I do order take out, it would be appreciated if the extras I pay for - like sauces/salads are ACTUALLY included with my meal.

If you're going to have the word "Grecian" in your name, you have to have a show stopping Greek salad!!! 🥗 Sadly, it was most definitely bagged iceberg from Market 32 with the little carrot pieces. No carrots in a Greek salad! You lose! Not many cucs either! What? People! The cucs make the salad!! no homemade dressing, and no dolmas, no fabulous tomatoes. Major disappointment.... yeah step it up GG. Oh and they are not open daily until 1am. Their sign is busted. The best Greek salad I've EVER had was at the State Line Diner in Mahwah, NJ. Such a salad fail, I had to come here.

Stopped in for a late lunch with two companions. Two burgers, tuna melt, and chowder. The burgers were good, chowder was good, tuna melt was ok. Our server was less than friendly and seemed overall annoyed in general. Prices are right for what you get.

We went to Grecian Gardens on a Saturday night, was a little busy but we were seated quickly. My grandma had ordered Veal Parm and the food arrived. She said it had been gooey and it tasted undercooked. We got the check and it had said that she ordered Eggplant Parm when she had asked for Veal Parm. I completed understood why it had seemed gooey or undercooked and we told the server about it. She asked if we would like anything else in place of the mistaken meal and I had asked for 2 bottles of salad dressing. The server came back out with 1 bottle of salad dressing. A expectation when a server messes up a meal is that they usually would comp the meal from the total price.

Food was good. Nothing to write home about but it was tasty. My waitress however was rude, mouthy and rolled her eyes SEVERAL times during out family outing. Simply asking what ice cream was available or if there was a non alcoholic drink menu.. we won't be going back. And I don't recommend this restaurant either.

This review is only for takeout. We were in this restaurant last week and had a nice 4 star experience so we decided to get takeout. Firstly the same salad we got in the restaurant for 10.99 was 3 dollars more and the salad was half the size that we got in the restaurant and had a bunch of soggy brown lettuce in it. The pizza was just mediocre. It was a totally different experience than dining in. I would highly recommend not getting takeout from this restaurant.

My son-in-law took my daughter and myself for an early Mother’s Day dinner. They love the restaurant and had nothing but good things to say about it. I ordered a panini…grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, a sauce and cheese. I was so disappointed when I got it. It was a grilled chicken sandwich minus the avocado on toast. Even my daughter, who recommended it was surprised. Waitress was quick to say that’s how they make it even when my daughter said that’s not what she had before. Her response, “a regular chicken sandwich has 3 pieces of bread”. Poor service brought on by waitress. Didn’t even come back to ask if everyone else’s food was ok.

Food was pretty good. My major issue is that the service was atrocious. Waitress was inattentive. Took over 20 minutes to get order taken. Then took forever to get drink refills. Finally waited about 30 minutes to get our check because our waitress went to a table in the back corner of the restaurant with 2 other waitresses and sat down listening to music on their iPhones. Worst part is that since we were in the back section of the restaurant the music was loud enough to be severely irritating and we had to talk over it which meant we had to be louder than we wanted. The waitresses that night were extremely unprofessional and didn’t even care enough to keep a decent atmosphere for their paying customers. We will not be going back to this establishment. Won’t recommend to others either.

Ordered through Grubhub delivered to hotel, $50 for NY strip w/ garlic bread and slice of apple pie. Received order, missing apple pie, no silverware, no condiments (butter, salt/pepper, etc.,) steak ordered medium rare and received almost well done, no toppings for baked potato, veggies were borderline mushy. Garlic bread was good though. Borrowed silverware from hotel.

I noticed that my glass had pieces of broken glass and slivers at the bottom of it, unfortunately I didn’t notice until my drink was almost gone. Concerned that I might’ve swallowed a small piece but so far I feel ok. Bartender should check the glasses before pouring a beverage. Would have been appreciated if the cost had been removed from my tab, but they did not. Food was good as always.

Grecian Gardens has been a favorite restaurant of mine for years, but I’m not sure I’ll be returning after my family’s most recent visit. The quality of the food seems to have gone downhill, and every meal at our table was barely warm. One of our steaks and sides were so tepid, we asked if it could be reheated. They brought back a new steak that was about as cold as the last, but with an entire chunk of raw - not rare - raw, red, chewy, untouched-by-heat section, and we gave up hope on that meal. Supposedly it had just come off the grill, so we’re not sure why it was so lukewarm. They were considerate to take it off the bill. My traditional Greek dish (spanakopita) was okay. Not flaky and definitely not the best spanakopita. Other meals were okay. The Greek salads, as others have pointed out, are mostly iceberg lettuce, include carrots (which don’t traditionally go on Greek salads), and are lacking in tomatoes, cucumbers, and pitted olives. The dressing is decent. Bread was okay, butter was ice cold. It was underwhelming all around, and the Greek foods were sadly disappointing. It was a busy night, so it was reasonable that it took a while to be served. Servers were decent, but not very friendly. There was not much concern or apology offered for the issues, even though we pointed out the issues politely and fairly. Perhaps it was an off night, but it was not an enjoyable dining experience and I’d hesitate to recommend it to others.

Very disappointed and will not go back again. The stuffed grape leaves were from a can and the hummus was store bought too. The gyro wasn't great at all and the white sauce was curdled and tasted bad. None of the food tasted homemade and Fresh. Also the staff messed up our order at takeout and gave us the wrong salad. The girl who took our order over the phone didn't know much of anything as we asked very basic questions and she wasn't too courteous either. Would not recommended this place. No way!

We went there for first time and expected a good Mediterranean food. I ordered shrimp, my wife checked with spaghetti and my daughter chicken fingers. We had popcorn chicken for appetizer. None of us could it any of the foods. They were uncooked and tasted really bad. I saw several plates from other customers almost untouched. Finally, I had to wait for waiters 15 minutes to pay the bill.

I’ve been eating at Grecian Garden for several years. I’ve always liked their food. Never had a complaint. We called them tonight April 6, 2025 to let them know that their olives had a very bad taste. We were not looking for a refund free food or anything just simply wanted to let them know the owner was extremely rude to my wife And obnoxious. We eat there several times a month. This will be the final time the way we were treated was awful not to mention we ordered a cheese pizza and two salads and it came to over $50. Their prices are going out through the roof will never dine there again

Went on Saturday 6/7 around 3:20, we were seated immediately,by the front windows ,walked out after no service after 40 minutes. Waitress knew we were there, never acknowledged us and waited on people that came in after us and sat right next to us! Their loss, we won’t be back.

Pizza was undercooked calamari and mozzarella sticks had 0 flavor and looked like the oil hasn't been changed in weeks ham on the pizza was rubber meat balls were soggy 0 flavor rice tasted like it came out of a bag and all sauce is straight from a jar the vegetables were most likely a vegetable medley mix and we're not good at all very dissatisfied will not return

Myself and my fiancé have gone in several times to eat and we do takeout as well. I agree about the people's review that say "the quality of the food has gone downhill" that is for sure. Service is hit and miss, very disappointing at times. So one time we decided to order a takeout and my fiance walks in to pick it up for us and told the woman I'm here to get the pizza and 2 salads like always. She couldn't find her name on the computer and said she's not sure who took the order on the phone so I said could I speak with the manager or owner because we come in here all the time. The owner came over and said he spoke to the girls who answer the phone and nobody called that order in and if we'd like we could put the order in now. I said if I order now I have to wait at least 20 minutes outside in the car, could you maybe include a salad for free for the inconvenience of waiting? He got all upset and told me to get the hell out of here in front of everyone. Great way to lose paying customers who would come in at least twice a month. Never again! Safe yourself the trouble, very disrespectful.
