Stopped in front r lunch on a whim when passing through and it's about as good as you could hope for from a random choice in the middle of nowhere in particular. The food was tasty and quick. The beer was cold and the service was excellent.

Fun time! Indeed a dive, but very pleased my boss took us here. Good wings, vodka-soaked gummies, and some IPA on tap. Tough to complain about that!

Decent beer selection, some cool bar games and a delicious fish fry on fridays. They have a $0.10 wing special on Monday nights too that just can't be beat!

Unassuming outside on scenic highway,once you are inside its spacious with a great crowd. Jukebox was fun, bartender is super attentive and the basic bar food is made correct and quickly. Hidden gem, I probably should have kept to myself!

Place was awesome had some pitchers and a few shots played some pool and some darts. The place was a real gem like the place you hope you find on a work trip or vacation. Even had snacks on Christmas.

I'm originally from less than 10 miles down the road. It still has a small town feel and it's still good to see people in there post pandemic. Good to see a still-lively people meeting venue! Izzy was great! She checked on me several times to make sure I didn't need another drink. Excellent bartender!

Best place around for pizza and wings.their cheeseburgers are the best. Their specials are fantastic, always something happening here. Excellent service Halloween contest, paiting with a twist, pumpkin carving, Christmas parties one for kids and one for adults, super bowl parties excellent place to have your gathering. We have had a family reunion there, celebrated birthdays and so much more. They paint the road every year with a green shamrock. If you ever out fir a drive on route 20 in Pompey stop in you'll be glad you did. I highly recommend.

"Knoxie's is always a good time"- an adage by my boss from when I began my working days as a cleaner for a construction company. But as I have learned, going back to knoxies for the first time in about 7 years (due to me moving around). That statement is still true. My brother and I went in for lunch on a cold winter day and left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces from laughing with the locals and the bartender. Whether your just passing through or have always had an itch to grab a beer and some wings. I say go for it.

Great option if you're looking for a laid back "dive" bar. Beer was cold and the chicken wings were phenomenal. Probably some of the best chicken wings I've had.

Fun and friendly! We felt very welcomed and had a fun conversation with other patrons! Pistachio pudding shots are delicious!

Really good chicken wings but there Pizza is frozen and they don't tell you that !

I left my purse on the barstool chair. Didn't realize it until the next am. Called and a gentleman answered @ 10:30 and said it was secure. Very nice and the morning bartender also. If not for them, I wouldn't be able to get home to Key West. Thank you both very much!!!!

Went with a buddy of mine that lives down in Lafayette for 10 cent wing night. It was your basic little 'Irish' bar in the middle of nowhere filled with mostly locals. Beer was cold and not foamy but the tap selection was minimal. PA system was lacking and you could barely hear it over the noise (and the bar wasn't even half full). Wings were decent when I finally got them a full 45 minutes later due to the PA being lousy. Downside - Bartenders didn't even look like they wanted to be there, never tried to find out if orders were being fulfilled, hardly if ever came around; local drunk from what I'm guessing making a scene and a ruckus without any of the staff intervening (wondering if they even cut him off); honor system with no checks on ID although they had a little paper sign on the door stating 'Only people 21 and over allowed In' like that's going to stop anyone underage from going in. All and all it was okay, not the best but not the worse so on par an average bar.

Pretty sad in the middle of the week too be dead an order food and the “fresh cut fries” came out almost jet black. Change the oil please holy heck bartender was super sweet prices were good. But the food situation is disappointing and not accommodating

Was ok not enough room to really sit. Bartender spilled a whole beer on me apologized that was it had to get my coat dry cleaned. Ordered appetizer they were ok. Probably won't be back

Wish it was better. Knoxies is a nice clean pub but the service was slow very slow and would not wait on us.

First time there... Great servers... Live music has been better... Unfortunately restroom smells along with people smoking right outside the doors made for horrible breathing inside. Won't be rushing back anytime soon 😒

We went here due to the positive reviews to catch some food before a show at Beak & Skiff. Kind people, decent service, but some of the worst tasting pizza my family has ever eaten. We felt off for half of the concert. This is probably a great hang out for a round of pints with friends, but I cannot recommend the kitchen. Two stars.

the bartender working was incredibly rude! stopped by to get some food with our family this weekend on our way home (all 21+) and was told by the bartender that normally ordering soda would get us kicked out. for the record i'm 7 months pregnant, but sure the baby would love a beer. out of seven of us, 2 ordered soda and the rest got beers. we intended to get food as well but after that comment and the attitude we got after, we ended up leaving. seemed like a good place to eat & the atmosphere was fun but🤷‍♀️

we walk in, and the bartender with the shaved side of her head asks us what we want. we start to say what we want and she starts yelling at us to “make it snappy.” would be a great bar if the bartender wasn’t rude to us for no reason. 1 star

Very rude bartender if your not a local Cussed out when ordered a pitcher. Then when the pitcher was only 56 oz was mocked and over charger because we stood up for ourselves Avoid this place at all costs if you are not a local!!! Don’t be fooled by specials you will be verbally accosted if you go more than once. WORST experience of my life by far!!

My review has nothing to do with the food or service, I hear it's great. I was attacked by one of the regulars, she was super drunk and angry and her husband was so messed up that we had to call police because he kept wanting to fight my husband. I'm never going back. Be careful turning your back on randos who want a fight, that's when she ripped my dress and grabbed me. I bled in 4 places all down my shoulder. They were total strangers which is the scarey part. Be careful of bars who serve people past a good limit.
