We had dinner at 13 Prime Steak and everything was soooo good and incredibly flavorful. Honestly, it was probably one of the best dinners I’ve ever had! Every dish was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, elegant, cozy, and perfect for a special night out. Such a beautiful spot with top tier food. We’ll definitely be back! ✨🥩
If steak is your thing, I highly recommend this restaurant. The filet Diane literally melts in your mouth. I suggest starting with the crispy lobster appetizer, it has a little spice, but the sweetness balances it perfectly. If you love lobster, the lobster pasta is a must. It’s rich, buttery, and absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, which I wasn’t sure about at first, but the flavors were spot on. Dessert was also very good. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy. If you prefer a quieter setting, ask to be seated in the back room or on the outdoor patio. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They also have a large bar with seating if that’s your thing, though it was a little too loud for me. Overall, the food is amazing. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Trust me!
Went for our anniversary dinner on a Thursday to try out there date night special. Honestly from looking at just the outside of the building I was expecting a decent meal and good atmosphere but as soon as I walked in I was totally blown away with everything. It’s a hidden gem in that shopping center! From the romantic and modern atmosphere and hip lighting to the amazing service as soon as you walk in, to the amazing smells that come out of the kitchen every time the door opens to the main course, an exquisite Tomahawk steak with mash potatoes, rosemary and garlic, we were in total bliss! It really was one of the best meals I’ve ever enjoyed, especially because the ingredients seemed simple enough, but there was so much flavor packed into every bite, they just know how to cook an amazing steak and prepare simple but flavorful sides. Their execution in all aspects for a restaurant as far as I’m concerned is flawless. Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed, my wife and I definitely weren’t.
Great meal. I had the filet and it was the best steak I’ve had in a long while - tender but lots of great steak flavor. Sides were also good, especially the jalapeño cheddar grits. Peanut butter cheesecake was ridiculous. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. A win all around.
We had a wonderful time here. Megan was very attentive, Professional, and Prompt. Jeff Assisted me with connecting my laptop to the projector. He was very responsive over Email. Thank you 13 Prime Steak House for making our event, very memorable. We got Mushroom Bruschetta and the Classic Shrimp Cocktail as an appetizer. The guests absolutely loved it!
We had such a great dinner at 13 Prime! We started with the crispy lobster appetizer, and it was amazing—super flavorful and perfectly cooked. For my main, I had the filet Diane with grilled shrimp on top, and it was honestly one of the best steaks perusal—so tender and the sauce was delicious. My husband got the black coffee rubbed ribeye, also with grilled shrimp, and it had such a bold, unique flavor. He loved it. We also tried a couple of their cocktails— I had the Bésame, which was so smooth and refreshing, and my husband had the El Jefe, which packed a nice kick and paired really well with his steak. I’m definitely a steak person, and 13 Prime is my go-to when I’m craving a really good steak. The ambience is classy but still comfortable—not too loud, with just the right lighting for a relaxing night out. The service is always solid, and the food never disappoints. We’ll definitely be back!
1st pic: 42oz Porterhouse steak 2nd pic: Caesar salad 3rd pic: Bread pudding with a birthday candle 4th pic: Mini chocolate espresso cake + shared bread pudding Everything besides bread pudding came from their $135 date night special for two person (Tuesday to Thursday only). The deal includes 2 salads (Caesar or green), 1 shareable entrée (Porterhouse or Tomahawk) or 2 individual entrées (Surf & Turf or Salmon), 1 side, and 2 desserts. We picked the 42oz Porterhouse, and it was beautifully executed — crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, with a solid grilled flavor. The desserts were the highlight. The bread pudding, gifted from the birthday star at our table, was warm, moist, and comforting. The mini chocolate espresso cake was creamy with a nice bittersweet balance — a perfect way to end the meal. ⸻ Tastiness: 8 Price Appropriateness: 9 (with date night special) Portion Size: 9 Overall Experience: 8
Amazing food. Superior service. Weird feather chandeliers and otherwise straightforward dining experience. This will be in regular rotation for us from now on. My only asterisk is to skip the dessert....too big and just ok compared to drinks, appetizer, and dinner. Can't wait to try other menu items on our next visit!
The food was good. We ordered steak (ribeye and ny steak). The garlic Mashed Potatoes were creamy. We also ordered the lobster pasta. The drinks took a while to come out. Will I visit again? Maybe once in a while. The place is located in a strip mall, so it was hidden.
Beautiful food prepared perfectly, served perfectly. Frankie was our server. Never disappoints. The back dining room is slightly less loud.
Lobster bite was a hit for us, as well As the made in house Caesar salad dressing. Both of our steak Was flavored just right and very tender!! Can’t wait to go back soon.
My husband and I came here to celebrate our 21st anniversary ❤️ This was the best decision we made to celebrate here. The atmosphere was amazing, service was the absolute best, and the food, oh my goodness, the best we've had in a long time. The drinks were great, we ordered steaks, that melted in your mouth! I cannot sing the praises enough for 13 Prime! If you are looking for that special place to have an amazing experience, this IS the place to go. I guarantee it!
Excellent steak. Excellent vibe. Bartenders were cool and friendly.

The atmosphere at Prime 13 was amazing, the décor really complemented the vibe, and the food was absolutely delicious I was literally licking my fingers! Plus, the drinks were top-notch

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars – Our New Favorite Steakhouse! We celebrated our four-year wedding anniversary at 13 Prime Steak (Willow & Nees in Fresno), and it couldn’t have been more perfect. First, a big shout-out to Joseph, the manager. This was our first time here, and after I left a message after hours, he called me back right away to secure our reservation. He truly went above and beyond to make our evening special. Our server, Ben, was incredibly efficient, professional, and attentive. And Ryan, our busser, deserves special recognition—so polite, kind, and great with people. He has an amazing gift for customer service, and I hope they promote or train him as a server soon. Next time we come, I’ll definitely be asking for Ryan to serve our table. Now for the food—wow! We started with warm garlic herb bread and butter that was just heavenly. Our main course was the tomahawk steak, cooked medium rare—perfectly seasoned, beautifully seared, and so tender it literally melted in my mouth. Hands down, it was the best steak I’ve ever had, and I honestly don’t know if anything else could compare. If the tomahawk was this tender, I can only imagine how incredible their filet mignon must be! We paired it with creamy garlic mashed potatoes, rich lobster mac & cheese, and a fresh Caesar salad with the best dressing and Tabasco croutons (a must-try). For dessert, we indulged in the chocolate espresso cake and the crème brûlée, both topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream—absolutely divine. And as a special anniversary surprise, Joseph and the team brought out a beautiful Capri peanut butter cake with whipped cream, caramel, chocolate drizzle, and a candle. Such a thoughtful and memorable touch! From start to finish, the evening was perfect—amazing food, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Without a doubt, this is the best steakhouse in Fresno. And the best part? All of this was part of their $135 weeknight date special, plus a $20 add-on for the lobster mac & cheese—worth every penny.
Excellent steak. Excellent vibe. Bartenders were cool and friendly.
Positively lovely Friday evening for our first time trying this place. Steaks were legitimately some of the best we’ve had since moving to California. Perfectly prepared. For the quality they were very reasonably priced. Most CA steakhouses are charging $90 for a $25 steak. 13 Prime has flipped it with $100 steaks priced at $50-$75. Great service. Great vibe! Dark but with just enough lighting. Really appreciate that the music is not Country but is much more energetic.

I made reservations as we had a large party. The restaurant called to confirm the reservation and they sent me a text message saying our table was ready at our reserved time. We were immediately greeted by our server who did a fantastic job serving our table and answering our questions regarding the menu. We ordered several different dishes (see photos) and everything was good. The decor was elegant with a rustic kinda vibe. One of the dishes that we ordered was the steak and enchilada dish, the sauce on the enchilada was pretty spicy, but good. It was a unique dish that I hadn't had before. We also got the bread pudding for dessert which was divine. The food was a bit pricey so it would cause some hesitation to go back.
A lot of mix feeling about the food as some of our dishes tasted great like the salmon it was cooked prefect and the sauce that it came with complemented the salmon well and others dishes could be better or use more flavor like the tomahawk steak which was not much of a flavor and a little over grilled as i asked for medium rear. Food came out about 30 minutes after we ordered and we got all our dishes the same time. In my opinion a lot of items on the menu is over priced. Service was ok waitress forgot one item that we ordered and didn't attend us until our drinks was low or almost out (steady evening not busy). Atmosphere was alright nothing crazy, good music and vibrant lighting. It was a great first time experience with this place but I probably wouldn't go back unless I want to impress others on how much I can spend.

Upon entry you can't help but admire the ambience of the restaurant. They did a beautiful job creating the atmosphere of the place. When my boyfriend and I arrived we were greeted very nicely by the hostess and were seated right away. Our server was also good. She recommended the lobster clusters, which did not dissapoint. They were absolutely delicious! The entrées were equally as delicious and cooked to perfection according to what we asked for. We ordered the New York steak with mashed potatoes and French fries. The mashed potatoes were a simple dish but the flavor was absolutely amazing! They were creamy and delicate. The cocktails were also a hit. My boyfriend and I ordered some whiskey sours and New York whiskey sours and they were delicious. I had noted in the comments when booking my reservation that we were there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. I was excited to see the table directly next to us get a complimentary dessert, as it was also someone else's birthday. I waited in anticipation of the same thing for my boyfriend's birthday. However, I was very disappointed when our waitress came around basically trying to push us to purchase a dessert. She had asked when we were first seated if we were there to celebrate something and I happily said yes, and mentioned that I had brought my boyfriend out for dinner for his birthday. Normally, I'll cave because a sweet treat never hurt anyone. However, my sweet tooth was overshadowed by my sadness and disappointment that my boyfriend had to experience someone singing "Happy Birthday" vicariously. It broke my heart. We sang happy birthday at home, but it wasn't the same. We had asked another server who was refilling our waters throughout the evening about the birthday dessert to see if the other table had ordered it since there was a chance we could have misunderstood. However, the server confirmed that the dessert was complimentary and generously offered to have my boyfriend's complimentary dessert brought in a to-go bag. We respectfully declined and went on with our night. Overall, it is a great restaurant when it comes to the quality of the food, but it was a shame that my boyfriend and I had to witness someone else celebrate their birthday festivities while we didn't get the same opportunity when I had let the staff know ahead of time and let our waitress know we were celebrating when she asked us.

This place did not live up to the hype. Mine and my Dad's filets came out looking like they sat under the heat lamp for a WHILE. It tasted like it too. A bit on the dry side for a medium cooked steak. Our server tended to ignore us for the most part, but the busser was on top of things. Au gratin potatoes and the Fall salad were good. Sister had the coffee crusted rib eye and that was fresh and delicious. The seating was kind of like sitting in a cafeteria. This place was over priced for the quality of food and dining experience. Completely underwhelming.

I left a review with Exploretock, it wasn't great and never heard back from 13Prime. I leave a short version here. Steak overcooked, taquilla old fashion was pure bourbon, had it remade. Second drink wasn't any better, I drink half. Beer was not cold or served in chilled glass. My girl ordered a second beer, after waiting excessively long we asked our waitress, her rude reply was "I put it in". Had to ask for bread and butter after we had already finished our salad. There are much better food, steak, dining options for much less cost. It was a huge disappointment.

We’ve been loyal customers of 13 Prime Steakhouse for a long time, we come here often for dinner and have even purchased multiple gift cards. The service from the staff is always great, but the experience we had with the manager, Jeff, was absolutely unacceptable. We reserved a large group of 13 for a party and were never told there was a $2,000 minimum spend required for the private room. After our dinner, Jeff brought back that we had signed a contract and began arguing with us instead of listening. According to our waiter, this kind of misunderstanding has happened multiple times, which tells me it’s a communication issue they know about but haven’t fixed. They also mentioned that even if the total doesn’t reach $2000, they still charge that amount regardless, because of the contract. If that’s how they plan to continue doing business, they should at least verbally explain this policy upfront to every guest before booking, not leave people surprised and frustrated afterward. What made it worse is that just in May of this year, we were in the same room with a group of eight and were never told about any minimum charge. Jeff claimed that couldn’t have happened because he’s the only one who books the room, but we know for a fact we were there. He kept arguing and wouldn’t take any responsibility. I even called the day before to confirm the reservation with a staff member, and no one mentioned any minimum. Jeff then argued that we didn’t confirm with him, which makes no sense when other staff are answering the phones. After this experience, we’ll never come back. The servers were great, but Jeff’s attitude and lack of professionalism completely ruined the night. If you’re thinking of booking a group here, double-check everything in writing or better yet, go somewhere that values returning customers.
