This is still the best buger in fast-food. It is just high. For a family on a budget, this is not the place for you. For people that can afford it, definitely a great 🍔 place. Fresh food, regular size 🍔 ,nice people. A little slow, but that's not a problem when you're getting Fresh food. Completely put McDonald's to shame. They aren't even in the same league. When I got the money, this is my place to eat a great 🍔.

I went through the drive-through. They had two lanes working with a person taking the orders for both lines. She was able to take cc payments, who went to one line while cash payments went to another. I asked the order taker how the fries were and if I would get them soggy. She recommended I order them with no or light salt. So the fries were hot and fresh. However, I did ask that they take one of two patties off the sandwich I had ordered, and they did not. But all in all, the patty melt was okay, and the fries were hot and crispy while the coke almost had a fizz like it came out of a can. I was just driving through, but if I lived in the area, I would stop there again.

I'm not sure how much "atmosphere" a hamburger joint can exude but the smell of burgers cooking in Whataburger are enough for me! My all time favorite and has been for a long time. They make all of their food when you order it and there's plenty to choose from. My new favorite is the Chili Cheese burger. The service is quick and the staff is always polite and friendly. I went in for pickup on the last order and the store was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was well tended and clean.. (This time of year is especially important, in my opinion). The menu is fully loaded, as always and what you get for the price is STILL a great value.

7/14/23 Thank you Jesus the jalopeno cheddar biscuit is back. This store handled their jobs outstanding today. Food was great & they went above & beyond getting us taken care of. Great job, both Clute & Lake Jackson staff. I even got an extra cookie & brownie. Apparently, the Lake Jackson store lost power this morn & caused major confusion with mobile orders & increased traffic to this store. I was one of them. But i was fed & it was delicious.

Thankful for Manager Cassey for helping to get my order right. Not everyone wants a bun! I paid extra for a wrap and I'd like my cheat meal of the week to be a low carb as possible. Shootout for the teamwork from the nice gentleman who took my order ask the way to checkout. There was a mistake made where they made it regular but Cassey made sure it was right! Thx 🙌🏾

Let me tell you, there is a young man by the name of Trenton that works at this location and he is so awesome. Such a welcoming smile, wonderful attitude and such good manners. This restaurant has improved a lot from how it used to be. Awesome job taking care of lane B and all mobile app orders. The wait is shorter when you order through the app. I appreciate the good service and acknowledge the staff for stepping up and giving great customer service. I’m a regular here and the employees know me here. This is my home Whataburger and always will be. This Whataburger could be a 5 star rated restaurant if they strive to be the best in the state.

this place brings me tears of joy ,I LOVE WHATABURGER this place wouldn't be the place it is today if it wasn't for the one and only Lillyian oh my goodness ,I won't be surprised if she's the one who runs this whole joint ,not only did she take my order but she went inside the building and made my burger herself and and the fries ,my god they were bussing ,when she came out with my food in her hands it felt like I saw Jesus himself walking towards me , she's out here serving up smiles and when I asked her if I can have a ketchup packet she said no ... I can give you 2 ketchup packets and right then and there my mind was blown at how good she is at her job ,she took care of me and my co workers so perfectly that day ,she even burped me after I ate my burger like what?? 10/10 service whataburger wouldn't be the place it is if it wasn't for Lillyian she deserves a raise , screw Popeyes and Burger King and Taco Bell .ps anyone that writes a bad review on this place doesn't know anything about food and should go umm kick rocks or sum

We had the new guy Trenton and his pal Avery take our order. Even though we had to come back because our sandwiches were wrong, the whole establishment was amazing and kind. Especially Ms. Dawn. I came to pick up my order on curbside and i just want to shout out a nice dude named Jeffery. I didnt get to see his name well on his shirt, but he was so kind when he brought out my food. I had asked him if he could give me one ketchup and when he came back he brought me 3 of each kind of ketchup. He was patient and had great customer service. Food was out on time too!

Ordering was pretty easy in drive thru considering a worker had to be outside to take the orders. As for getting orders made and out, ours came out pretty quick, but the vehicle in front of me took 10 more minutes to get their order out to them, not sure what took so long but was unable to get around them, had most of my meal eaten just waiting in the drive thru lane.

It's always funny and entertaining seeing customers fight with staff. The food and service was good, I just wish this Whataburger could be a-lot more faster on food orders. I came here Friday Lunch 11 AM -12 PM and there was a-lot of people which I understand I know this is lunch hour. It took about 15-20 mins to get my food. If you are someone that's impatient, then this is not the place for you to come so just be aware of that.

Very rude employee at the drive thru window. Stopped by yesterday morning at around 10:00 8-12-24 to grab two iced cofees, a cookie and a brownie. First she forgets to add the second coffee. Then when I drive up to the window I ask her a simple question she responds very rudely. I know we all have bad days but she needs an attitude adjustment fast.

While the quality of the food is generally pretty good the service leaves a lot to be desired. The front counter is often left unattended or staffed by a single person and it can take upwards of 30 to 40 minutes to get your food to go or dine in. I have had times were my order simply got lost and I had to ask what was going on before any even questioned why I was still waiting 40 minutes later. Your best bet is to go through the drive through because if they lose your order which they sometimes do when you dine in their at least forced to find it or make it for you. Tl;Dr foods good. Service is bad. Wait times awful.

Chili cheese fries are trash man!! So now I order online I get there in the 8 min it says it should be ready waited another 8 min!! They got my order half correctly! I ordered 2 kid meals a side a medium fries and a Cobb grilled salad with ranch dressing, they didnt give me the extra order of fries, they gave me jalapeño dressing and a fried chicken 🤦🏼‍♀️! They at least got my kids meals right I will give them credit for that.

I paid $12 for a bowl of lettuce! I picked out A LOT of lettuce and put it on top of my bag which you can see. And then more lettuce and barely any chicken or apples. Do better!!!!!

Drive through is terribly slow as they have attendants out similar to Chic fil A the kitchen can’t keep up! I ordered at 12:29 and got my order at 12:49…twenty minutes in the drive through, room for improvement and reason for 3 star food is always good.

Used the drive thru. Order was taken fine. Was told to go to spot B. Waited for my food. My shake came out first with a mess all outside of the cup. The guy took it back in a wiped the cup clean for me. Then I paid for my order, no receipt was given. My food finally came and I drove off, not a minute later I'm like the fries are cold. I ordered a large and it looked like half was missing. I then got to my hotel within 5 min. The burger was soo cold that it needed to be microwaved. I was really disappointed since there is no Whataburger near me. I ended up throwing it away since the service and food upset me. A waste of $13.

Must be the same owner as the other location because this place is just as bad. I waited at the drive thru menu for a very long time. There were absolutely no cars in front of me waiting for food. None! But there were seven cars behind me at the menu. I have never seen anything like that before. I ordered a pancake platter (by name) not by number. I got home and there was some eggs and sausage meal instead. No pancakes. There was two orders of hash browns in the bag. Why two? How do you screw up and order so badly? The Whataburgers in this town are so bad that its actually comical.

Whataburger is fine but the owner of this location should have franchise permit revoked. Leaves one manager to run the whole show essentially by themselves short staffed causing extreme wait times 15-30 minutes past the apps already long window. This place will keep making money off whatabutgers name but at the expense of your company's reputation

We dug into our food about 3 minutes down the highway and everything was cold to the touch. The fries were limp and the burgers were a cold sloppy mess fill with lettuce heart chunks. This was one of the worst Whataburger meals I've ever had. Definitely never going to this location again.

It really blows when you wake up and place an online order 15 before 11am so you dont miss breakfast and then pull up the the whataburger and sit around for 30 minutes with your Johnson in your hand before some employee finally tells you that your order will simply not be made. Great stuff. Really appreciate that. They don't want you to know this but the honey butter and biscuit buns don't disappear at 11am. They could make it right but they choose not too

the night manager needs to do a better job leading her crew. Standing out at a car in the drive thru and talking to a family member or friend while the line backs up, because the girl who was helping take orders near the entrance of the drive thru went inside when it was busy, while you were busy blabbing is ridiculous. Not pulling people up that are at the window waiting for an order so others can pay to help the line move quicker is ridiculous. The morning manager does great, but this night manager really sucks. If you're in here, do better lady because waiting 20 + minutes for two chicken strip meals is crazy.

Ordered 12 Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuit Sandwiches for a total of $51. I received zero (0) Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuit Sandwiches in my order. The biscuits I did get, were unbelievably dry. It was like eating a cotton ball. I called corporate, and the lady asked me, other than letting the store know, what I'd like them to do about it. Uhhhh. I hung up. To bad. This Whataburger needs help! From what I could see, there were 10 vehicles in the drive thru, 5 in the left lane and 5 in the right lane. I was in the right lane behind 1 truck. After 20 min, the man in front of me went inside inquiring about his food and came out with nothing. I could see a manager and another associate sitting at a booth near the door, either oblivious to what was going on or just not giving a flip. After sitting in the right lane for a total of 25 minutes, the gentleman parked in front of me and I went inside together. I asked the woman sitting in the booth if she was a manager and she replied, “I’m clocked out right now”. I told her that was interesting because the drive thru is 10 cars deep and not moving. I walked to the counter and asked the girl stocking cups for a refund. I didn’t get a receipt so she asked what I ordered. After a few minutes, she came back and asked if I still wanted a refund because my food was ready. I took my food and headed back to the drive thru line. The $45 worth of food was cold and disgusting. I am appalled at the lack of urgency, pride, and horrible service at this location.

Overnight is trash, 3-10-25 both black ladies (I believe one is a manager and the other in drive thru window) were very rude and slow. I use to work at whataburger and it ain’t hard to get food out in less than 2 min and have a positive attitude while inside in AC or a heater

The service was absolutely unexplainable! After a weekend at the beach, we waited in this drive through line for more than 30 minutes!!! My wife finally had enough and walked in. She asked the woman sitting in a front booth dressed differently than hourly associates if she was a manager and her response was, “I’m clocked out and on break.” At this point, the drive through was 10 vehicles deep and I watched multiple cars back out because they were tired of waiting. When you are a manager, you get off your butt to help associates who are struggling. When my wife asked for a $44 refund, the food magically appeared. The food we were given was way overcooked, nasty, and cold! I would not feed it to a pig!!! This location needs to get it together.

Unbelievably disgusting!!! Today is March 30, 2024. I stood in their lobby at what I’m guessing was a shift change because they were counting drawers for the new cashiers. Here’s the problem: THEY WERE COUNTING THE MONEY IN THE DRAWERS ON THE MAKE LINE WHILE FOOD WAS BEING PREPARED!!! I watched employees touch money, then food, then back to money, then take orders and take customers money, then back to food without EVER washing their hands!!! I don’t know how they pass with the health inspector…they must have known they were coming.

The service at this location is mid. There is always something missing or wrong when I order. I live in the area and it’s convenient for me to go to this specific location. Please check the bags and the order before sending it out. Food is ALWAYS cold. When I order curbside I put my order in and arrive on time just to sit and wait for my food for 15+ minutes .

Service sucked. We ordered 2 milk shakes , Apple pie, and French fries. Took 26 minutes. I asked for my order twice in that time before having to get rude with the person taking orders. No one was in the lobby when we walked in. And others received full meals before we received anything, and we ordered several minutes before they walked in. Clute TX Whataburger sucks. ZERO STARS, take the extra few minutes and go to the one in Lakejackson.

I ordered thru. Door dash. One of my orders that came with fries #13 did not include the my Fries. When I called to let them know the girl who answered the phone. Answered it very rudely. When I went to tell her about my order missing the fries. She tried to argue with me telling me that it did not come with fries. Managers need to hire employees that actually want to work. And be courteous to there customer s. I have managed fast food for over 20 years and none of my employees have ever acted the way these people act.

Manager (i think he name was Erika, hard to read her badge), being rude to employees. Manager (female) standing around while another lady Viola, was working so hard. Working outside, inside, the front register, Viola was working very hard. Manager was being rude to her and put her hands on a younger male employee, Charles, and physically moved him out of her way. Literally the worst Whataburger I’ve ever been too. Someone should call corporate and have this swamp drained. I swear every time I go in there you got people in the back fighting arguing over something stupid. Terrible environment I would never bring kids here ever… literally garbage. REALLY SLOW SERVICE, it’s been 30 mins and I’m still waiting on my food to come. 1 guy came out to give everyone their drinks and not 1 single person received their food. HORRIBLE LOCATION

If you’re gonna serve me cold french fries, thats bee setting in your heat lamp for hours. I’ll take it frozen might as well make it myself. It’s not hard hot food menu should be served hot.

Waiting for 30 minutes for your order just for the manager to hand it to the first person they see without checking anything then making you wait another 5 minutes looking for your order before making you another burger then having to remind them that you got a drink is very fun. I spent 45 minutes inside the store and all i got was a somehow dry burger a somehow half melted shake and barely warm fries. Worst 15 dollars I've spent in awhile. The store is also filthy, floor felt sticky.

If you are stopping at the Whataburger and clue and you are stopping before work, I would suggest you never do it because you will be late for work. I was the only car in the drive-through and it took about 15 minutes for me to get my food other car started coming behind me then the second lane I noticed both of them got theirs before I did and I was at the window before them so I would suggest never ever stop at the Whataburger include for 288.

We waited over 30 minutes in driveup for 2 burgers and fries and the burgers were cold it was at 430am and not busy so i dont understand what the problem was but we sent the food back and got a refund i will never stop at this location on the way back from the beach again

Sunday evening. Not busy at all. Ordered #1 burger and fries. The burger was cold. The fries were cold. They brought another burger. It was cold I could not eat the food. I left it sitting on the table. I am not a picky eater. I have eating there many times. I never had a problem there. Will not go back.

I love whataburger but this trip was bad. When we got to drive through it sounded like 2 female employees were arguing. We got the food but my bacon whataburger was not good. Bacon tasted old patty did not look fully cooked and was dry very dry, had one big chunk of lettuce and cheese was barely melted. My wife's chicken tender sandwich and onion rings were ok.

Waited 20 minutes, no acknowledgment or explanation for the delay. Drive thru orders were prioritize over customers inside. When I finally asked if there was an update on the order, the cooks laughed and shrugged their shoulders when the server checked in with them.

youre better off cooking your food at home with the amount of time this location takes. Only come here if you got about 30 minutes to spare siting in the drive thru:)

Worst. Whataburger. Ever. Don’t waste your time if you can help it. Majority on staff are incredibly rude employees (with the exception of the 1-2 good ones). They’re always short and never have any sense of urgency.

1st and LAST time!! I waited 20 minutes for dine in..I understand Busy...but when You make Me wait and then bring Me a COLD BURGER..not luke warm...COLD. didn't even melt the cheese! Then I get attitude and dirty look from the Mgr because I want My money back instead of waiting..only apology came from the cashier!! Whatta JOKE! I wouldn't waste My time! Won't be back!

40 minutes for a "fast" food order. It was until someone after me got their order first I realized something is wrong. I asked and they said the kitchen were very busy. 10 more minutes later I asked another staff and finally got it. A mom and her daughter also got their order this way. Never been to this kind of "fast-food" store. BTW, I asked no pickles, ad the request was ignored.

Has to be the slowest Whataburger in all of Houston. The food is always cold and items missing. Expect to wait over 15 minutes in line just to have your payment taken and another 15 minutes to wait on your food.

Ordered a honey butter chicken biscuit and I get home to see they gave me a dot of honey butter! I’m eating it with a biscuit like put enough it’s basically just a strip in a biscuit! Oh and thanks for no ketchup once again!

Came here for the first time to get food and the manager I found to be absolutely rude and lacking leadership. Not only that but was extremely rude (I think her name was Bianca or something, older lady). I asked the girl who brought my food out for some spicy ketchup and if I could have a few, when she grabbed them the manager came over and chewed her out and was making some extremely rude noises… then told the girl customers are only allowed one ketchup per order. She did all this infront of a customer and was super rude to her employee. The employee, Shekalynn, was extremely sweet and I felt absolutely terrible she has to work under such a rude and condescending woman. Myself and all my buddies who met up here for lunch will not be back so to the way this place is managed.

Sat in the drive-thru for an hour to be asked multiple times what my order was. Once I finally received my order, I was ensured that it was correct multiple times before I drove off. My fault for driving off before checking. My order was completely wrong. Avoid this location if possible.

Didn’t mind Waiting in line about 20 min or so but got burger cold the cheese wasn’t even melted went back inside to return it people seemed like they were on chill mode got a burger back half decent service is terrible I stopped by around 800: pm on 7-24-2025 so many people were Returning There stuff been coming here for years never had this bad of a experience in this location before

Very disappointed in this Whataburger location. Placed a mobile order for pickup in the drive thru. While it being a Saturday night I can completely understand the delay, however sitting in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes is unacceptable. What a waste of my time. This isn't my first bad experience here, but this time was the final straw. Someone from a higher management level needs to come and see what this Whataburger is doing because they suck.

Everytime i go to clute whataburger its always something wrong 1st Martin what goes through your head when you hire these people like its obvious they arent good for working , i went through drive through around 12-12:30 idk who the girl was on line bus but she looked irritated that she was working there and irritated waiting and then to top it off lady at the drive thru was rude as hell like please get it together clute your management sucks , yall cant stand a chance with lake jackson at all

20 minutes. No matter what time of day or what you order, from 1 sandwhich at 9am to 6 meals at 1am, it's gonna take 20 minutes. It doesn't matter how good the food is, if the management can't properly staff or take up the slack themselves- which is their job- the experience is 1 star at best.

Order placed at 10:55pm & was supposed to be ready at 11:05pm. Got there at 11:03pm, but didn't leave until 11:45pm. Didn't have the condiments for it either. No apologies or nothing. All for 3 plates of pancakes. Saw many people enter & get their food in a timely fashion. Even saw some enter, finish their whole meal & leave; all while in curbside. Buyer beware!

I thought I’d try this place again ( mobile order this time) with the hopes service got better.. I WAS WRONG!! This location is the slowest of all locations. If you have 30 minutes to wait on food then this is your place.

We spent 28 minutes waiting for one coke, and some taquitos. It was Sunday around 10:30AM. Food was fine. Mismanaged drive-thru operation. Staff were apologetic and polite with each interaction. The management needs to understand that its "fast" food.

There’s a reason why they have poor reviews. The owner and his minions do not know how to run the place. I had an issue with my order being wrong after multiple requests to fix it and they couldn’t seem to function properly to understand a simple order. Why are you an owner and can’t get an order right at least the second time around?! I watched other people have the same issue and we all had to sit there and wait over thirty minutes for “fast food”. Give me a break. Maybe if you stopped yelling and acting like a hot mess, just calm down and breathe, you wouldn’t be having such a hard time getting our food out timely and accurately. I will never come to this dirty disorderly establishment again.

I ordered my food in drive thru which the whole process from menu board to actually getting food was approxamently an hour fifteen minutes to an hour and a half of waiting in line when i got my food it was all cold and not only was it cold but i had ordered onion rings a large and a medium and both were burnt and the medium onion ring only had four rings in it and the large a little bit more, my grilled chicken sandwich looked like they made it swim in the sauce they put on the bread which made the bread soggy and it didnt help that the sadwich was cold as well. and it wasent like i waiting to start eating my order i was in the parking lot getting it out and noticed all this. I also had orderd fries with the other order and they were not even in the bag. So because of this I ended up having to go in to talk to a manager and try to gt it right. when I go in it was horrible, they had people just standing around doing nothing, managers yelling out loudly to the crew being hateful, and customers trying to get service but no one helping them and when they ask they say were short handed yet they had employees all over just standing around in the back not doing anything. I had asked for a manager to try to get my issue fixed and one wouldnt leave drive thru area because they wanted to proceed to yell at the employees to do this or that and yet they wernt getting it done, she told one employee at the fryer to put food in bags but he was just standing there looking lost and dumbfounded.. I finally had a manager after about five minutes of waiting for one to show up and help me come up and get the issue fixed but even then i ended up with more cold food and no apology except were short staffed. 12-15 employees in the back is not short staffed. I used to work at whataburger in the past and this kind of service would never have been allowed, and its not just this location its also the lake jackson and angleton location with these same kind of issues and service time. because of all this I will not be going back to these locations because im never going to pay the outrageous prices for the food if the food isnt going to be fresh and have bad service every time. More then 10 minutes in a drive thru or even waiting inside for "FAST" food is rediculous. even worse if its going to be cold or not even get what i paid for.

I would give No stars if I could. Was in the drive thru and the girl walked away and made us wait while the people in the second line got their food. By time we got our food the fries were cold. And to add on top of that my burger was still raw and I didn’t notice until my husband pointed it out!! Do better!
