In an unassuming location cut out of the jungle you will find Restaurante "Isabel". A charming restaurant that is hiding a secret... and that secret is AMAZING food. As soon as we ordered we knew that we were in for something special. From our table, and every other in the restaurant, you can see the chef at work. As he prepared our food you could tell that this is a passion for him and not just a job. He was utterly focused on preparing the best dishes possible. Let me tell you he did not disappoint. We ordered the shrimp and steak tacos. They were fantastic. 3 corn tortillas with just the right amount of cruchy crispiness that were overflowing with meat, cheese, and veggies.... sublime. An amazing experience.

Exceptional spot! Right after the Aktun Bej cenote! Friendly staff, hammock available while you wait! Beautiful place and truly excellent food!! Tacos, burritos, guacamole!! Bottled mineral or natural water. Payment by card or cash, small kiosk selling handcrafted souvenirs next door.

Amazing food, fresh and very tasty. Potions are very generous. We had spaghetti with beef and chicken burrito, both were great, burrito was the best we ever had since in Mexico. Coffee and cappuccino were good too, pineapple juice with cha was made completely fresh. Highly recommend.

Random stop for lunch on our way to Tulum. This place was great, we both ordered the chicken burrito and we were pleasantly surprised with how tasty and well presented the food was. Good prices $500 pesos (with tip and tax) for 2 burritos and 1 frappe and 1 iced coffee . Definitely recommend stopping in for lunch!

Beautiful restaurant, great food, great drinks, can go visit the shop while your food is cooking. Some of the best food I had on my trip and prices are reasonable. Some of the best horchata ive had and the coffee is great too.

Best mexican restaurant. Everything is fresh made. Even my spoiled kids liked it and order more. Interior design is on high level. Even music was great. Prices are very reasonable. Must go when you are near Cobe.

A must-stop if you are traveling in the area, especially if you are returning from Chichen Itza as we were. It's right on the way. We actually made a U-turn it looked so good and I'm so glad we did. Excellent food, excellent venue and the service was terrific. To top it all off, the price was extremely reasonable. Great food, great price... what more can I say? The reviews speak for themselves and I can confirm they are DEFINITELY accurate! Thanks for adding another great memory to our trip.

Stopped here on way back from Coba and had a delicious burrito. Experience was RUINED by them trying to charge IVA on top of the bill which is illegal. All prices displayed should include tax by law. They fobbed me off with trying to claim some restaraunts it is included and some it isn't but after persisting they accepted the food bill only... be careful!!! DO NOT PAY ANY ADDITIONAL IVA
