Great food! Great environment! Helpful and friendly staff too! I've never had anything that wasn't amazing. Meats are the best around, ranch potatoes are delicious and banana pudding is the best! One of my favorite places to eat in town and some of the best BBQ!

CJ's is always my go to when I need my BBQ fix. The brisket and ribs are my usual go to. Occasionally I will substitute the ribs for sausage. The brisket is always moist and tender. The smokey flavor is on point. The ribs are always fall off the bone tender and delicious. Sausage is a filler for me. I would say their sausage is not the best but also not bad. There is good flavor there but it leaves you thinking they could have done something different to make it better. Coat the sausage in BBQ sauce and all is good. I feel the portions for the 2 meat plate for money is adequate.

Amazing BBQ. Yes, I only got 2 Beef Ribs but it was well worth it. Y'all made a 7 month pregnant woman happy after being deprived of Texas BBQ and finally moving back. Thank you so much for the great food and service!

For my first time being in here it was really cool. I love the vibes of old school style BBQ place. Over all atmosphere is 10/10. Service was amazing. Matt I believe his name was he may have been a manager that helped me I think I really should have asked his name before he left. Anyways he was great! I told him it was my first time in he was very welcoming with a great attitude and smile! I asked if I could sample a few things to see if I wanted it and he was happy to help. I also asked his favorite because I am very indecisive. He gave me great options! I tried what he recommended and it did NOT disappoint! Overall service was a 10/10! Food is why we're here right!? Well let me tell y'all!!!! This is the best BBQ in town and honestly some of the best I've had in my 29yrs! Their sauces are absolutely creative and pair perfectly with the lean AND fatty parts of the meats!!!! Super delicious! Their sides are also amazing! Don't let the the only thing you come here for just be meat because the sides are delicious! I wasn't able to try any dessert this time but I will definitely be returning! Food is 100% a 100/100!!!! I will definitely be back!

The BBQ here is amazing! I personally recommend the brisket or chicken, mac & cheese, ranch potatoes, corn bread (only $1!), and their banana pudding. The potato salad, collard greens, and peach cobbler are decent. The sauces were so good that I couldn’t decide which one was better, they were all fantastic! Their brisket, cornbread, and ranch potatoes are by far the best I ever had. My only regret is not having a bigger stomach!

So, I’m a “Very, very Picky Person, when it comes up to Eating from any kind of Restaurants”, but this Barbecue Restaurant, deserves way more than 5 Stars!!! I HOPE TO SEE LOCATIONS OPEN UP IN KATY, TEXAS & ALSO HOUSTON TEXAS, because it would make so much more Money $$$$$$$$$!!! There’s no Barbecue Places out in Katy, Texas that Cooks and Barbecue the way C& J Does it all very, very, very DELICIOUS and OMMGGGG!!! Let’s talk about the “Very Soft Ribs that literally melts in Your Mouth and the AMAZING Mouthwatering Taste!!! And the BRISKET, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR AND THE BACK, Because it’s so Good, You’ll never want to ever Eat any Barbecue ever from any other Places, because C& J will literally take good Care of EVERYTHING!! This Restaurant will have you always coming back for More!!!

This is the home run plate plus a beer I added on. The brisket was tender, flavorful, with a hint of smoke. The jalapeño and cheese sausage was spicy and cheesy, mild hints of pork. The ribs were falling apart and moist with moderate pork flavor. The cheesy mashed potatoes were pretty good. The mac and cheese was just average. The lone star beer was smooth and yummy for a pale ale.

2nd time there. Always excellent food with good portions. Great price for such tasty bbq. Fast service and comfortable seating make it a winner.
