McAlister's - sandwiches, salads, Mac & cheese, huge potatoes, kids selections, and remember their wonderful tea! McAlister's has it all. Their service is also excellent. Several times, our food has been delivered to our table before the person paying has gotten to the table. :) And McAlister's has had no issues with us rearranging the tables to fit our family. ( Please lift them instead of dragging them.) And serving sizes? I usually have enough left over for another meal or two, although the same can't be said for others. Did I mention that their potatoes are huge? Check out McAlister's - you'll probably be glad you did!

I was determined to find something wrong as I’ve spent 4 years as an employee of another McAlister’s Deli and I am somewhat biased to my location. However, I couldn’t find one thing. The service was amazing, the staff stayed busy, the store was immaculately clean, there was a strong manager presence, and my order came out so fast I thought they were bringing me the wrong order! If that wasn’t good enough...my order was exactly right, hot and absolutely delicious! Thank you for making my summer in College Station that much better!!

I used McAlister's to cater my wedding because I so badly wanted a potato bar. Oh my goodness did they deliver! Their price was unbeatable, the girl in charge of catering was so wonderful and sweet. She bent over backwards for us and was so easy to get in touch with. They legitimately delivered too, to my venue, set up, and it cost next to nothing to have someone man the buffet line for one hour. I was so impressed! Everything was hot and tasty and there was plenty of food for my almost 200 person wedding. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out.

explained my allergy to greenbell peppers and they printed me out a list of ingredients. The possible(manager) was awesome,told me about his dad's allergies to corn,best service and attitude!!! The food is good 👌 fresh and healthy!! Definitely recommend

Usually this location is consistent. The last time we went the salad wasn't as fresh as it usually is but other than that every thing else was what we expect. Everyone is friendly and the food comes out fast.

In fact, I’ve never seen a more helpful or cheerful staff! They definitely converted me from Jason’s Deli!

Got the Spicy Turkey Club. Wasn't spicy at all do guessing they forgot some sauce, but it was still amazing Turkey was tender and the avocado and bacon were perfect toppings. PS can never not get the Peach Tea (1/2 sweet)

Very impressed!!! Wasn’t able to choose “Gluten free” via the order app, but with 1 simple phone call to the restaurant after submitting my order they made sure my order was Gluten Free!!! It may not sound like much, but with an intolerance, you have no idea how much this means to me🥰

Prompt service and overall wonderful experience! My husband went to sit with the kids while I ordered. The food was at the table before I even sat down! It all came exactly as ordered, and the staff helped me carry my drinks to the table. The manager was very visible and walked by several times to make sure everything was OK. This was by far one of the best lunches I have ever had! Wonderful hot and creamy broccoli cheese soup and a Pecanberry salad with raspberry vinaigrette! Absolutely delicious! I received my food almost as soon as I sat down! Great service too!

We stopped in with a team of 30 Science Olympiad middle schoolers and were in and out in an hour. The workers were so patient and polite and the food came out really fast. We will be back again!

I met a friend for lunch around 11:30 mid week. We did not have to wait to place our order. The young lady who took my order was very helpful and friendly. I ordered the 1/2 Orange Cranberry Sub and veggie soup. Loved that sandwich! Perfect lunch portion. Several servers stopped by our table to check-in, offering to refill our drinks and asking how we liked our selections. The restaurant was clean and tidy.

This McAlister’s Deli provided the best service out of any sandwich shop I’ve been to in college station. We ordered smoothly, got our food very fast, and were tended to during our dining experience. Melody did an amazing job and was constantly at work attending to guests. This was a very surprising experience and I was very satisfied with my food.

All the staff were so kind, & they always checked in to make sure we were taken care of. The food was amazing, I had the Philly cheesesteak! Grace at the register was phenomenal, she was so helpful with ordering. And she made our visit so much fun, I didn’t want to come here, but Grace changed my mind about this please!

Went there for lunch with my son on a Monday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all. We each had a BLT sandwich. I loved that the bacon was well done, just the way I like it. The employees were attentive to our needs. Very happy with the service we got. Will definitely be going back.

I come to College Station frequently for work and this is my 2nd visit to McAllisters's in a month. It greatly exceeded my expectations both times. The food is great quality (got the New Yorker) and the place is immaculate. But what blows me away each time is the friendly and attentive service that I just don't expect from counter order reataurant (or most sit down restaurants, for that matter). I was checked on immediately (to see if the order was right) and again (to refill my order)--so helpful and always smiling without being overbearing. I'll be back... a lot...

So I was having trouble finding out how to write a new review (had one from a long time ago) so this happened a few days ago. We had a business lunch here and I'm sure they had zero warning we were coming, party of less than ten so probably wasn't too bad, but everything went very well! The staff and even the assistant manager treated us perfectly. Assistant manager greeted us, we didn't have any issues. Definitely going back to this place. Food was quick and excellent, even with a big order.

This is my first time coming here. The menu options are good, they will actually heat up the sandwich and toast the bread if you like. The atmosphere was good, place was clean, and service was good. I would definitely come back. I got the New Yorker sandwich but had it put on a jalapeño roll. It’s is very good and packed full of meat as you can see from the photos.

My mom treated me to a Black Angus Spud today! Love love love baked potatoes, but THIS!!!😳😍 All I did was added a little more cheese and black pepper. The aroma was amazing and the flavors were spot on! Normally, we order the clubs which are great. It's nice to step out the box and try their other options. I will definitely be going back.

Warm bread bowl soup, need I say more? Honestly it makes for a hearty warm meal on a cold rainy day and I've always been satisfied with the quality of food and the price. Add the service, which has always been very friendly and attentive, and you've got yourself a nice little sandwich and soup place worth coming back to for another lunch.

Good service. I like this place because it's comfortable and fairly quiet. The sweet tea is very popular as well. My friends make fun of me, because I always want to go here.

We had an early dinner a BLT w avocado, a French dip. We also had potato salad and vegetarian soup. The potato salad was excellent with the portion size was just enough for side. The soup was just OK. The sandwiches had great flavors. The bread on the BLT did not hold up well.. the bread should have been toasted.

Great sandwiches! My wife loves the salads too. If you want chips as your side, you'll have to do with plain ole Lays, no options. They are famous for their iced tea and for good reason. But it'll cost you at nearly $3 for a cup. Clean, friendly atmosphere.

Warning about curbside pickup--they like to tie the bag containing the items tightly, so it is inconvenient to check your order, and this most recent time multiple items were missing. I'd say they get the order correct about 60% of the time, but I've never had an EXTRA of anything--there is always something missing, so you wonder if it's really random mistake. For example, never order a French Dip sandwich, because they'll leave the dip out 90% of the time, and it's really not a good sandwich dry. EDIT: Bumped up the rating as they did reach out to apologize and provide some "reward" points, which is certainly more than many of the other restaurants that have been shortchanging curbside orders have done. I did go back yesterday and order was 100% correct, although bag still tied too tightly for me to check it easily in the car!

Great place to grab some food it's easy convenient and tasty. Staff is kind, friendly and helpful. Super upset they took away the bread bowl though, it was my go to.

This place has great Sandwiches, Salads, and Potatoes. The service is Super fast! The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is it's so popular that it's always crowded and busy, so just not a relaxing atmosphere to eat in my opinion.

Wasn’t busy when my family and I went. Prompt service, never had to wait too long for my food to come out. The grilled chicken club sandwich is what I always get and it’s always good! A pretty decent sized restaurant. The sweet tea and strawberry lemonade are so good and refreshing!

Very enjoyable dining experience. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. The tea is very tasty. I would recommend this for eating with friends, family or solo. The salads are good for the price also. Easy to find from street view and close to Texas A&M university. ENJOY!

Food was delicious and fast. Only problem we had was the unfriendly staff who took our order - young lady named Porsche. She didn't say hello. Didn't acknowledge her register was open. I asked her was she open and she didn't even respond, just barely nodded her head. Definitely not the way to be the 1st impression when customers come in. I mentioned it to the manager at the end of our meal and he stated he would address it. It wouldn't stop us from returning. I understand everyone has a bad day but in this industry, you can't do that repeatedly. Hope the review helps!

Pretty good sandwiches and iced tea. Service is spotty, tonight it was good. I have to say. The manager tonight went above and beyond. Another customer had an issue and the manager stepped out and did a fantastic job. Wish I had gotten her name. Edit: service has been very good lately.

Tldr: over all would recommend. It was a bit pricy but the sandwiches and potato salad was great! I had the Italian and my wife had the chicken club add turkey, both were great! The potato salad was great as a side but the mac n cheese did not have any major flavor and the noodles were over done. We also tried a Chipotle chicken spud and the inside/topping was great but the skin was chewy which is meh. The service was very timely and nice. The tables and floor was very clean. Overall all recommend.

Overall decent, but a little bit pricey at $15. Per person for a 1/2 sandwich with a side salad. Clean and quiet, service was pretty quick and nice. French dip was ok, the BLT A was good, potato salad was good and the broccoli soup was ok.

This place is fast! Even on a busy day! Half of the time, the food is following you to your table! It is all good food as well and offers variety for different type of eaters. If you are a big eater this may be a place where you have to double up or pick the food that you think fills you up the most like a potato or something. As it isn't a big satisfying fill but more of a pleasant one. Though that comes with most deli or cafe style foods. Still, the food is awesome and their tea is actually good. There was only one time it wasn't. I told them and the woman tasted it, agreed, and gave me something else while they remade the tea. Their potato salad is 10/10 too! Super good

Always fast, friendly service, reasonable prices, good portions, and solidly good food! I would skip the applesauce though, it is clearly from a jar. Chicken tortilla soup is also decidedly lacking in chicken. Pretty much everything else I've had had been yummy. Great for small meetups during not-busy times, and online ordering is nice for quick lunch pickup.

This location serves a decent sandwich and soup combo, but the dining area is rather cramped. Made it difficult and awkward to position my wheelchair without feeling like I was in the way. Has that cozy, homey vibe to it, but while the food was decent it's not something that I'm clamouring to go back to.

We have ordered food here a few times only to get home and our salads are missing their dressing or their proteins. It gets three stars bc when the food is right it’s good and the staff is very friendly, but it rlly sucks not getting what you paid for. Always check your food when you leave.

The service was good and the cashier staff made an excellent soup selection of the butternut squash. The downside is this McAllisters is dirty. It needs a through cleaning which makes me wonder what does the kitchen look like...

Needed to find a lunch spot while in the area. The food was mediocre at best and the price definitely did not reflect the quality of the food. No one in our group enjoyed their meals and we all got different items. I review nearly every place I visit and I am committed to making honest reviews. I wish my experience was better, but hopefully this review will help the restaurant make some changes. It would be great to get some folks in to do some market research feedback on different plates or maybe arrange some secret shoppers. We went because the parking lot was packed so we figured it had to be good.

This location is so so. The queso and soup were both barely warm. They did heat them up for us. The place was not really that busy. But the manager was taking orders to the tables. They must be having staffing issues. The staff that was there seemed burdened. We will try it again (different time of day).

What kind of rocket scientist made my order tonight? Haven't even tasted the food yet, which is usually good and satisfying, but it seems like the second you say the words "to-go", everyone stops caring. Missing multiple items from or order, inexcusable, sandwich looks like some kind of deconstructed mess. It's pretty simple, you read the order and fill the bag with what's I the list, elementary. And sandwiches usually have the fillings in the inside with the bread facing the same direction. First bad experience here and hopefully it's a one-off, but just unsat all around and I even tipped knowing that to-go orders don't usually get tips. Update: After this comment posted, a member of corporate reached out. They took the extra time to hear all of my issues and how they could make things right. I'm upgrading this review to 3-stars for the excellent response. I will be going back to the same location soon to give them another shot. If all is back to normal work great food and good service, I will add another star back to this review. Thank you.

My salad leaves were left whole, dressing was watery, and no boiled eggs were in the salad. The chicken n dumplings was extremely watery and with very little seasonings.

I gave 5 stars at first but now they get 2. I ordered delivery and they forgot my drink. They refunded the money for the drink only. They got the full delivery fee and I left a tip but I didnt get my full meal. They always forget something when I order online and have it delivered. I will find somewhere else to order delivery from.

The last two chicken croissants that I ordered I gave two stars. I wanted to do one. They put it in some kind of a press and the croissant wasn't even one anymore it was so flat and so crispy. The picture of the croissant looks wonderful as advertised but beware. I won't Go back. Their customer service didn't handle my complaint well.

My family and I have lived in the Bryan-College Station area all my life, I’ve always gone to McAlisters, And never have i ever been treated the way i was today . I placed an order to be picked up, i tried using curbside due to covid i don’t go inside many places. My friend tried calling to let them know we were outside to pick the order up and they told us to come in and hung up. I called back and the lady told me again to come in and get the order. I let her know that i was at the curbside to pick up my order. She said because i ordered on door dash i had to come in i told her because of covid i normally order like this and never had an issue before she continued to give me a hard time and finally had someone bring our order out to us . When we received our food, it was opened, missing food, drinks were incorrect. We hadn’t eaten all day. We literally just gave our food away and didn’t eat because we felt if we went in to try to get it corrected they would’ve given attitude and we ordered through door dash so we couldn’t have gone through them to get a refund anyways and we knew they wouldn’t have taken the food back so we just gave it away and came to chick fil a. I’m very disappointed. I definitely won’t be going back.

Usually reliable but today the chicken on the grilled chicken salad was hard and rubbery (not just a little bit). Hope it doesn't come back to haunt me in a few hours. I have the impression the salad was made yesterday. I did mention the above comment to a young server but offered no response. Not a good day at McAllisters.

This place literally has water leaking from the ceiling. It's fallen so far from when it got 4 stars. Used to come in all the time, was quick in and out and everything used to be perfect. Recently however, they must've gotten new management or something because the service and atmosphere has dropped off a cliff. It's terrible, the food is still decent but good luck getting a correct order or not standing in an extremely long line while 1 employee takes 40 orders. Avoid at all costs.

Disappointed in food, it appeared to be microwave heated very hot and steamed flavor was microwaveish. I live 30 minutes away when I got home it was still too hot to eat.BTW it way a 3 minute wait I'd barely sat down before they came out with sandwich

I'm so disappointed with McAlister restaurant, it's a favorite restaurant of restaurants so when I ordered inwas expecting a amazing salad with fresh ingredients and this is what I got, old advacados, nasty black lettus. Not what I expected from a deli. I'm very disappointed.

One of my sons has an egg allergy. We came with both of our kids and our niece and nephews to eat. The kids' meals come with a cookie. They refused to even try to find something to sub for my 3 year old to not feel left out as all the other kids get cookies. I get that the cookie is "extra" but to leave someone feeling excluded without even trying is not okay. Not to mention, the cookie isn't extra, it's calculated in the cost of the meal. Definitely won't be coming back or spending any more money here because the customer service was abysmal. They didn't try to find an alternative for him, they just said too bad, "sorry."
