The food and drinks were on point this time around. Last time I was here, the service was pretty bad as it took over 30 minutes after getting seated before we were approached by a staff member to be asked what drinks we wanted. I would love if the mac and cheese could be put back on the happy hour menu. We do always make reservations before going. EDIT: We recently returned on 2/2/26 and the service was amazing. The staff was much more attentive, the drinks and food came out much faster, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We didn't feel rushed or anything and will definitely return!!
Overall I was overly impressed. I ordered the Big BOI burger On a gluten free bun and no cheese. I have a couple allergies. Man this food was so good. They use real hamburger in the patties. I was stuffed after my meal. The value was great 5/5 Food quality 5/5 Location 5/6 Cleanliness 5/5 Customer service 5/5 I came on a Friday afternoon the restaurant was slow business wise so my experience may vary slightly because of that. I must say I really don’t have anything negative to say about the food or experience. Great job to the people that provided service and cooked the food.
Great spot to enjoy some drinks on the patio on a beautiful day! Drinks are moderately (downtown) priced and strong. Local distilleries and brews. Food was phenomenal the nostalgia burger was just that, nostalgic and great take you way back when tastes. Spicy chicken sandwich had a wonderful mix of flavors. That apple slaw!!! Amazing! Got a side of truffle fries and Caesar salad. Both were fantastic. Caesar dressing tasted fresh and plenty of classic Caesar flavor. Croutons were crunchy and homemade. Prices are pretty much what we all have come to expect of a downtown eatery about $20 a plate.
Absolutely love this place! They have the best drinks, and the only use Colorado beers and liquor! The service is always fantastic, the food is always delicious, and later in the evening you can always go downstairs to the speakeasy! Great lunch specials on the weekend, very nice little patio area as well.
Asia was a very friendly waitress, and my burger was delicious. I will definitely be returning to try some other items on the menu.
I haven't been here in a couple of years, but the spicy chicken sandwich hasn't changed a bit. Excellent. And the Elevation Ketchup is out of this world.
Had lunch here today. My server was very friendly and personable. The food was really amazing and more “elevated” than you would expect at a bar / grill type place. I had a pear cider which was the perfect, refreshing afternoon beverage. I would definitely recommend this place.
Stop reading. This is it, you've found it. One of the best burger places in the area. I got a medium cooked craft burger. It came with cheese, lettuce, onion, etc. The buns were thick, but super soft. It just was so delicious. The fries were salty, but crunchy and really good. We did order the bison burger, and that was good as well. The chicken burger is a hit and miss. It's either too spicy, or isn't at all, or dry. In our situation, it wasn't spicy and dry unfortunately. The service is pretty great. They listen, ask for feedback, and discount on non-perfect food. They seemed to be kid friendly in the top level. The bathrooms are very clean. There is a bottom level that seems to be a bar.
Do you hate great food? Do you despise great cocktails with liquor featuring local distilleries? Maybe you hate local beer? Don’t come - you’ll be very disappointed when they don’t have your Bud Light. Okay now that I lost them - this place has been a staple on Tejon street for years now and features some of the best food (see picture) and the friendliest staff in the area. Do yourself a favor and get a spicy chicken sandwich. It’ll be the best you’ve ever had.
I love this place! Everyone is so friendly, the drinks are always on point and the food is soooo good. Happy to see they brought the burrata back :) The new wing sauces were great, the hot honey, yes please!! YUM!! They even have some cool art up from somee local artist and the bar downstairs have some of the best bartenders in the Springs, their cocktails are amazing and the staff is definitely not bad to look at... especially that cute redhead ;)
A great little bar/restaurant. I had the nostalgia burger and a craft beer and it was great. Came back another night, and had the Bison burger and it was amazing. Juicy, tasty, hitting all the right notes. So good in fact, that I came back a third night and had it again. This place is now on my list too visit every time I'm in Colorado Springs
The food was excellent and the service from Brooklyn was top tier. Cup of French Onion Soup was top 3 I’ve ever had and the Mac and cheese was phenomenal, shout out to the kitchen for doing such a great job as well. My partner had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and he says 10/10. I’ve heard the pork green chili is yummmmy. Definitely a must try spot downtown!
Overall good experience. Came here for a date night with my wife. The atmosphere and ambiance were good and gave the opportunity to talk and hear without having to yell. There is a bar below the restaurant and apparently it can get pretty loud down there. The food was delicious and freshly made, the only thing I wish was that the fries were hot, they were warm at best. The spicy chicken sandwich is amazing and I liked it better than the burger, it is spicy however so you better like the burn. The service was really good and friendly; Dylan was the bartender and is apparently one of the owners; he was a rally nice guy and easy to talk to. Will definitely be back to this place.
Just revised from 4 to 5 stars based on my last 2 recent experiences, they've really stepped-it up. Cool spot right in the heart of downtown. Great beer selection. Knowledge bartenders, really nice staff, excellent ahi tuna salad and burgers. Green chile soup is amazing.
Met with the some friends for dinner and beers last night. Food was delicious. Had the bison burger with fries. It was cooked well and all the toppings went well. Also tried a local beer and really enjoyed it. Service was great. Would recommend!
A great local spot with many local spirits and beers. The bartenders are kind and friendly but during lunch hours are stretched beyond the bar to serve tables. As long as you are patient and understanding your experience will be positive. Bartender made me an aviation with no hassel. Ate a burger which was excellent with no complains. Unfortunately it was so good I forgot to take a picture!
I had a delicious Bison burger. I've never paid $20 for a burger before but I think it was worth every dollar. My wife had the New York strip, cooked beautifully. The server was pleasant and friendly. Would definitely visit here again.
Amy was the best server ever! Birthday shots, great new TV set up for the playoffs and best happy hour in town. Will be here to watch games with the new tv set up.
YUMMY! You have to check this place out. I loved the atmosphere in there. The food was absolutely delicious. I got their green chili burger with truffle fries and my friend ordered the mushroom impossible burger. They were both excellent! The brussel sprouts stole the show though. They had a kick to them and so flavorful. I couldn't stop eating them. Lots of options for those of us who like a good beer. Awesome place!
This place was amazing. Hidden among several other tempting restaurants open for brunch, I am glad I picked this spot. Great food with a broad selection of local beers, wines and cocktails. The food was top notch and the gentleman at the bar was helpful recommending local beers. Will be happy to revisit when I pass through town again.
Colorado Craft has a great modern atmosphere that is clean and inviting. The food was very well prepared and tested delicious, the Korean Steak Salad was full flavored and the steak was cooked perfectly. The amount of local beer on tap was impressive and appreciate how much they highlight the local breweries here in Colorado Springs. Believe that the our bartender was Sarah (sp?) And she was very friendly, had a great knowledge of what she was serving and genuinely seemed happy to be at work and loved her positivity!
Locally sourced, unique style twist on American food. I had their Cobb salad which was so tasty and filling. their chicken sandwich is also amazing. They only had craft cocktails, which are all so beautifully made. I ordered the Carpe Diem and at first I was a little disappointed bc it was not “cute” compared to my brothers Brooklyn Sour, but I was not disappointed at all when I tasted it. it was smooth and packed with a smokey vanilla coffee taste. our waitress so helpful and sweet, I believe her name was Ashley. The space is really open and modern, I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu
We visited here shortly after it opened and have loved it ever since. Today we sat at the bar and Zach was awesome! From a perfectly made dirty martini to a fabulous recommendation for dessert, he is top notch. We had the spinach dip, Caesar, Pot de Creme AND the cheesecake. If you’re a peanut butter lover try the pot de creme - honestly it’s to die for. CC is one of our favorite places to go. From the incredibly fresh food, to the great service and ambiance, CC is truly a class act. We will be back!
Large selection of all kinds of Colorado beers. About a dozen on tap and about 25 in cans. Menu has something for everyone - salads, burgers, fish, basic kids menu. Bailey was our waitress, she was friendly and helpful. We had some burgers and the child's chicken fingers. Everyone was very happy with their meals and service.
Great local spot! Just flew in today for my wedding and blindly chose this spot and so glad we did! Staff is so friendly as well!
Colorado Craft is a fantastic example of exactly what downtown Colorado Springs needs to continue to progress and stay relevant. The space has received a much needed renovation to give it a clean and contemporary look. There is a fantastic bar area that provides you with your desired alcoholic beverage to include, you guessed it, Colorado craft beers. As someone who is familiar with many of the Colorado beers, it was great to see a few of my favorites from Colorado Springs on their menu. The service was amazing. The hostess, server, manager, and even the employee who poured and brought us our drinks all acknowledged us with smiles and impeccable customer service. The food we had was great as well. The pictures I've provided show their menu as well as what we ordered: Cuban sandwich and chicken sandwich.
The ladies and I came here last night for a bachelorette dinner and it was everything we hoped for! The food and drinks were incredible (highly recommend the truffle fries—we started with those and I had a burger that was bomb). The atmosphere was perfect, and Jesse, our bartender/server, went above and beyond to make the night special. Shout out to you! ✨ I’ll absolutely be back next time I’m in town!
First visit, I was so happy to find gluten free options. Had steak salad and it was delicious!
Food and drinks were great! Loved the green chile mac! Even took kiddos into consideration which made it a convenient place to meet up for dinner. Bathroom could be cleaner. Wish we could come back sooner!
We come here for their burgers, but I’m sure all their food is delicious. The bison burger is to die for and we tried the keylime pie today, wow! Sooo good. The atmosphere is clean and the vibe is right. Love this place! Brian the owner is really nice too. Highly recommend 🌟
This was my boyfriend and I first time here and Shawn was absolutely AMAZING!! Wonderful service, great recommendation for beer, and truly an awesome human. 10/10 recommend. Amazing environment! Food was SO GOOD!! Shawn definitely set our expectations SO HIGH.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My wife an I have been coming here for a few years now. And we absolutely love it. The spicy chicken sandwich is amazing, the food and drinks are fairly priced. The staff is all super nice and good at their job. If you love a good burger/ or spicy chicken sandwich 10/10 recommend!!!
Their spicy chicken sandwich changed my life. It was like a gleaming, golden nugget of hope and deliciousness on a cold winter day in the barren, picked over food wasteland that is Colorado Springs. The next time I go in I want to shake the hand of the person who made my sandwich just so I can say that I've met a wizard. Magical is a word I would use to describe this sandwich.
Loved this spot. I had the gluten bison burger and truffle fries. So amazing. Separate fryer. Cool speakeasy/bar in the basement. My friend had the burrata salad and says it was incredible
I went here to watch a college football game this past Saturday. Atmosphere was really cool. Not loud nor really a sports bar but they have plenty of TVs at the bar playing them. Bartender staff was awesome and the food was great. We had chicken wings , hot honey sweet potatoes waffle fries and a steak salad. All of which id order again. Great selection of all Colorado spirits and beers!
Overall very good and would be glad to go back. Had an excellent lunch recently on a weekday. My wife ordered the beet salad and added chicken to it. I had the Bison burger that features white cheddar, roasted jalapéno, tomato, red onion, green chili marmalade, arugula, and green chili mayo; and I ordered the green chili as the side. Our friend had the spicy chicken sandwich. Everything was excellent. The bison burger had a medium-high level of spice, which I thought to be spot on. My chili was good, though not exceptional. Again medium hot spice level by my taste. Service was attentive and fast; and since it was a weekday, the place was not crowded. Of course there were many drink choices.
It's a nice atmosphere and I love the area. A little expensive and that's with a discount but the food was really good! They pilsner beer and the wine was really good!! The chef did an excellent job. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I had a really sweet flavor on my chicken and I didn't like that. I definitely would recommend if you don't mind the price.
Food is top notch. Servers are slow to respond, but flexible and very respectful if things are brought to their attention. Atmosphere is nothing special but gets the job done. It’s all the great parts of being at the Archives, without the inconsistent service. CCS - 7/10 Food: 10/10 Service: 8/10 Price: 6/10 Cleanliness: 8/10 Marketing: 7/10
This was a first visit for my husband and I. We went on a Sunday right at opening and sat outside. The waitress was kind and attentive. We started with the Pork Bomb Queso Dip with fired corn tortilla chips. Bit was DELICIOUS!! The best item we had. My husband ordered the Spicy Chicke Sandwich with fires. It was also very good. I had wings, nothing spectacular there with little spice and thin blue cheese dressing. I wouldn’t have them again but would be willing to try other menu items. Over all, it was good, a bit over priced m, but on par with downtown.
The chips and queso were alright. Soup of the day was a green chilies soup and it had good flavor. Mac & cheese had a good flavor. Truffle fries were good! The wings were crispy and had a good flavor.
Classy atmosphere. Friendly service. I had the craft burger and side salad, very good. My wife had the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. Fries were good. Chicken sandwich was too spicy for her. I had a little bite and it was too hot for me too. Couldn't taste anything it was so hot. Beware if you order that sandwich. Recommend removing the menus on Google. Very misleading. Good experience otherwise.
Overall a great experience. Green chili fries were awesome, and also the green chili Mac and cheese. The strawberry shortcake was not good. The cake was a very dry bisquit, and the dish wasnt sweet at all. Server was polite and friendly. Would recommend and return.
Food was really good, if not a little rich, but they give healthy proportions so it's not too overwhelming. The staff were quick and friendly with a great beer selection. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing with an open air feeling right on a main Street for downtown.
Great selection of craft beers and IPAs. From Green Chile Ale to a mango guava sour. The food selection was spot on, complementing the beer menu. We started with the Prosciutto and mozzarella platter. The fam had the wagyu burgers and steak frites. Although it’s not on the menu I asked for a vegan option and had the Incredible burger (no meat). We opted to eat outside, it was a fun and lively dining experience in the heart of Colorado Springs. Highly recommend.
As you read the recent bad reviews, believe them. I didn't because we're been there before and had a great experience. Management has changed. Our server was lovely but brand new. Already had a huge section, if you can call it that, on his third day. He had tables from the front patio, all along the wall and on the other side of the bar. I'm not sure how they expected him to stay on top of table strewn across the restaurant like that. I ordered an "entree" beet salad. it came on a regular salad plate and was not entree sized. Luckily my husband's Cobb salad was huge. We ordered salads thinking they'd be a little quicker. We waited about 45 minutes. At one point we been there so long the server though we were waiting for our bill so he brought it, but we hadn't even eaten yet! We won't be back unless we read about a significant management change.
Very friendly servers and inviting layout. Came here once before and decided to come with a couple friends on Valentine’s Day. Server let us know food would be slow since it was very busy. No problem there. Ordered an old fashioned, which was just ok. They serve it with small cubes so ends up diluting the drink quicker than usual. Ordered the steak frites. Steak was cooked how I liked it but the fries seemed like they had been sitting for a while, and the steak seemed tiny. The Parmesan on the fries had congealed into a single mass that I could pick up and remove. I may consider returning but if I’m picking a dinner/date spot, I might go elsewhere.
Well everything looked great coming out of the kitchen. Spent 19 dollars on a beet salad. Chicken cost 7 extra dollars, which apparently only comes in 3oz. You could literally buy a whole chicken for cheaper. It was good, but my stomach was grumling after 30 minutes of eating it. I repeat, what is in the picture costs 19 dollars and it's not a joke
FYI don’t bother asking for no pickles. You’ll get them anyways. And if you pay extra for the pork green chili fries just know they do not come with pork…or green chili. Bartender was very nice.
Decided to give this place a second chance. The hostess is either extraordinarily badly trained or in the wrong job entirely. Tue server was friendly. My food was terrible. I got the salmon frites. The salmon was overcooked and dry. I honestly wouldn’t serve it to a cat. It certainly wasn’t a $30 meal. Give this place a miss.
I ordered a $20 burger which was burnt, bitter tasting and bland, yet somehow too salty. The frenchfries were anemic, limp, and couldn't hold up to the delicious green chili. The key lime "cheesecake" was not cheesecake or key lime pie. It was grainy with keylime flavor that was more a surface flavor and was not incorporated into the middle of the pie filling. The crust was soggy and pasty In short, the most disgusting and disappointing $8 dessert I ever ordered.
