My experience at Emilio’s tonight was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we sat down, Sergio made us feel like VIP guests — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and service. He elevated the entire night. We ordered the sangrias, the Chicken Milanese, and the Bolognese loaded with clams and mussels, and let me tell you… this was the best meal we’ve had all year. Every single dish was perfection. The sangrias were beautifully balanced and dangerously delicious, the Chicken Milanese was crisp and tender with flawless seasoning, and the Bolognese with the seafood? A masterpiece. Rich, fresh, and so thoughtfully prepared — a dish you don’t forget. The service was top-notch, the drinks were crafted with intention, and the food was on a level that rivals restaurants twice the price. Emilio’s is operating in Michelin-star territory, and if I had the power to award them one, I would do it in a heartbeat. Sergio, thank you for giving us a dining experience we will be talking about for a long time. This restaurant is a gem and absolutely worth every bit of praise.
We ordered takeout from Emilio's and the experience is just as good as dining-in. We had a chicken parm dinner and a chicken francese dinner. They were both outrageous. The flavor and the amount you get is unbelievable. Looking forward to dining-in soon as well.
Took my lady out to Emilio’s and Sergio made the whole night flawless. The sangrias were unbelievable, the Chicken Milanese was perfectly crispy, and the Bolognese with clams and mussels was easily the best dish we’ve had all year. Service, drinks, food; everything was top-tier. If I could give this place a Michelin star myself, I would. Perfect spot to impress your woman and have an unforgettable night.
Great Place! Great food! Desert and espresso as great. Love the cheesecake And love the Italian atmosphere and music! My family enjoyed Mother’s Day brunch! Thank you!
Had my wife's Birthday celebration and the whole family was amazed at the food and service. Our grandchildren had a great time and our server Jose was excellent and made our celebration a night to remember. Can't say enough about Jose's effort to make the occasion special
Sicilian slice was one the best I ever had. Tried the Brooklyn too, stick with the Sicilian!
Dined here on a whim with my mom for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. We were waited on by Sandy. She was friendly, and attentive and provided prompt service. The food tasted fresh and delicious. The rice meatball was divine! My compliments to the bartender who mixed the Pineapple Old Fashion Cocktail! Whew! :) Lastly, although we opted not to have dessert Sandy brought us a small plate of biscotti with cannoli cream to sample. So good!
We’ve been coming to this place for years. We are a family of seven hour family of nine and we just love this place. Food is good. Jose our server was very attentive and since he’s been here for quite a while, very knowledgeable , Great service and their drinks are definitely phenomenal. Whether I come with just my husband or with the whole family. This is definitely one of our best spots.
Love this place! They have a big menu with options for everyone. Highly recommend sharing a pizza for the table as an appetizer! Came here with a big group and it was perfect! Staff was very helpful and recommended great choices.
I just moved back to Long Island after 20 Years, my new neighbors highly recommended Emilio’s. Let me just tell you it deserves 10 stars, From the Services from the amazing Waitress Melissa to the Manager Robert with his amazing personality and hospitality skills. This is going to be my go to place at least 2-3 times a week and I drive from Bayshore to commack WELL WORRH IT!!!!
Everything here is good but the Sicilian pizza is the best
I've been coming to Emilio's restaurant for several years. The food is always consistent and delicious. It is priced very fairly. If you're looking for a nice meal with the family that will not break the bank but not quite at the caliber of a fancy Italian restaurant then this is an excellent solution for dinner. Would I particularly like are the salads the pizza and the eggplant parmesan
Came in for the first time the other night when Emilio’s was participating in the listrongpizza fundraiser Pizza was excellent ; my daughter and I both thoroughly enjoyed and we were happy to see proceeds go to a good cause. We will be back
Hands down one of the best restaurants out there. Amazing food, memorable service, beautiful decor and fair prices. Get the specials!!!!!
Everything is fine only one thing… I ordered grey goose tonic and cranberry club soda and they served same glasses, :)))
So normally I never ever spend $25 on Mac and cheese but this Mac and cheese is one of the best I have ever tasted and I have had hundreds of Mac and cheese dishes. I was absolutely blown away. This was will worth the $25. The Lumaconi pasta was perfectly al dente enough for me. I’m in shock. Well done Emilios!
Stopped by last night for a bunch of appetizers, thin crust pizza, and a couple bottles of wine. I used to go here as a kid with my grandpa, this place is still the best at what it does. Great value and an awesome night.
There are hundreds of pretty good, even excellent Italian Restaurants on LI, former pizza shops, now restaurants, but Emilio's is at the very top. A little pricey, but SO worth it. Even the decor says "high end" making it more suitable for a date than the average joint. I highly recommend the Signature pastas. Enjoy!
Place was yummy. A bit over priced but decent food! Calamari was fantastic.
We had them cater an event at our house. All of the food was exceptional. The salads were fresh, the pasta was piping hot, and the 6ft heroes were a total hit. We also got cannoli and tiramisu, which I definitely recommend. The delivery was right on time, and was professional and courteous. My family looks forward to getting food from here again. Thank you to all of the staff for helping us with our party.
The most delicious food I have had. Biggest menu SO many choices to hard to pick
Hit or miss here. Usually too busy for me hence I will not frequent this establishment. Food is almost always good although on more than one occasion I have received cold dishes. My guests always enjoyed their meals though. Careless waiters but probably because they are too busy. The landlord of the property is a colleague of one of my clients and clearly stated that the owner is in and out of jail. I don’t believe it but I must say that this comment stuck. Food is good. Too busy though which in itself says good things as far as freshness. Mid day is my recommendation for comfort and service.
Food was delicious and flavorful. Portions were large, you can order entree, or for one and or family style. Can’t wait to go again.
Stopped in for lunch and we were quickly seated. After browsing the menu it was nice to see many options but for me the prices are a bit high and everything was allá cart. The sides didn’t seem to be smaller portions as they were $15+ which for me, would be a main not a side. Regardless we ordered a pitcher of sangria which was lovely, not too sweet and the pitcher was a great idea since we were both able to refill the glasses again. I ordered the chicken allá vodka hero which does come with fries. ($19) and my husband ordered the specialty chicken Madeira pasta. ($26) The food was hot and had great flavor. I wish there was more sauce on my hero but other than that it was good. We skipped on dessert since we were so full. As far as service goes, it was just alright. Never filled our water glasses. We were seated without menus. Took a while to come check on us. Not sure that I’d be back but the food was good enough that I’d maybe grab something to go.
Had the regular cheese slice , a Buffalo chicken slice , and a favorite of the three Bacon Chicken Ranch … first of all as I walked in I was greeted by a worker doing other work than counter work and yet it was a heart felt warm greeting he immediately stopped doing wha the was going to help me an make sure I had an amazing dining experience. I got the three slices an cheese slice being what everyone judges locations off of I had to get one it surprised me with its robust tomato sauce and it’s buttery tasty flaky crust .. as for the Buffalo slice it was a hearty amount of chicken an Buffalo but not to much and no random pockets of blue cheese to mess up the flavors … when I asked for ranch the what seemed to be chef in charge got on a phone at the end of the counter and ordered a cup for me I thought it was neat considering less than a minute later a young man came out the back and handed me a full cup of cold ranch dressing.. the Chicken Bacon Ranch … I don’t normally get these slices since most places have a meatlovers of some kind but today they didn’t have one and the gentleman behind the counter understood that and directed me towards this slice .. I looked at it and was surprised to see so much .. Meats.. on it … very good flavor combinations they didn’t use traditional bacon on it and it sets it apart from other pizza locations … all of the pizza I’ve had from this location was very tasty and ever so much worth the try and cost I will be returning with friends and family who have not yet to experience Emilio’s tasty experience .. as for the atmosphere very beautiful location for the walk in seating though it is lacking as it’s high tables so that you are now eye level with the other patrons in the restaurant and have a strange partition in between you and them that makes you have a delusion of privacy that doesn’t exist .. simple fix by getting lower tables for the walk ins otherwise very nice location
Family friendly. Food was ok. Service was a mix of awkward and slow, but it was polite.
Wonderful, casual, reasonably priced and nice surprise from what you would expect at a pizzeria. This is a restaurant and quite enjoyable for family and friends! Enjoy some delicious meals!
Nice Italian restaurant. Bread served when we were seated Meals were delicious, Big portions, nice atmosphere Plenty of parking.
The best meatballs on long island. Always enjoyable to eat here and so many choices!!! Love this place
This a slice of Sicilian for 4$ half the slice double the price enough . One or the other charge more but don’t cut portions in half gauge
Ordered a crispo salad with no frizey lettuce, got home & received a total frizey lettuce salad. Had to throw it away. When we go in to order, the young girl needs to be off the phone with her friends & take the proper order.
Been coming here for years food always excellent as is service. Today wasn’t a 5 star rating. I ordered a chicken panini sandwich and asked to add avocado to Sandwich. They didn’t I told the waiter he said he go get it. Got it after half the sandwich was gone. The avocado was way to thick to add to sandwich I tried a piece it was brown and hard as a brick apparently not ripe. The waiter cut a few pieces and he agreed wasn’t ripe. I didn’t eat it and they still charged me $ 5.95 extra. I asked the waiter your charging for a bad avocado and he asked another waiter and he said they order additional items they pay for it. Not the answer that should have been given. I paid for it.
I usually order specialty slices from this establishment and they've been good. However, the last couple of times I've ordered regular slices they've been mediocre and unsatisfactory.
Really? They took this out of the oven and sent it anyway. And they didn’t include a side of sauce with it either. Emilio’s quality has gone downhill. The garlic knots were flat, oily discs that only tasted vaguely of garlic. The bolognese was dry. I thought we should give it another try but I was wrong.
Really had high expectations for this place all the pics of the upside down slice and other pizza slices looked amazing in pictures but when I finally got here to try it I was very disappointed. The marinara slice was very undercooked had to throw it away and the upside down slice didn’t give me that wow factor unfortunately this was a unsuccessful trip to a new place to try
If i could give this place 0 stars, I would. I’m a pizza lover and this place was a complete disappointment. First of all, I bought two regular slices for $8. The cashier took my order and then serviced the two people after me and they were able to get their food first before the cashier remembered to put (unfortunately he literally threw) my slices in the oven. When I opened the box, the dough was completely RAW and extremely THIN. I called to make the manager on duty aware of this and her response was “i can give you your money back or you can get two new slices” that is very unsafe and this place was a waste of money. I do not recommend.
Food was not of my tasting. Lacking flavor and freshness. For some odd reason they put vegetables with the mozzarella sticks??? Made everything wet and soggy. Pasta lacked any type of seasoning, me and my hasband got spaghetti and meatballs and penne al vodka. The spaghetti had a lot water as well. I paid 66 dollars, worst food to spend my money on.
I never write reviews but in this case, I absolutely had to. Not only did the chicken come completely raw, but the soup had a bug in it. Would absolutely never recommend this restaurant to anyone. So disgusted and disappointed.
Waited 30+ minutes for the wrong order (which I saw when I got home was not fully cooked, so I had to throw it away) only to be told it was my fault that I did not say my order correctly. This undercooked, over priced meal was also accompanied by a salad with ingredients older than I am. I would love to know if the staff would be happy to purchase, let alone EAT this meal I received. I understand mistakes are made and the cost of everything has skyrocketed, but if you are going to charge the prices you do, at least have a quality product.
I ordered a tray of pasta, 4 pies and 18 garlic knots it arrived late 1 pie was wrong and the pizza was cold the garlic knots were burnt and stale (all of them) they gave us 3 small rolls with a $70 tray of pasta really? when I called to say I got the wrong pizza the so called manager was more rude and more concerned about who took the order rather than making his customer happy he argued that the pie I wanted didn't come in cailiflower crust but no one told me that when I ordered it. This is the last time Emilios will see my $200. in case you cant identify whats in the photo, its a garlic knot
The pizza was absolutely disgusting. It was ice cold and it wasn’t even cooked. The dough was still stretching that’s how raw it was.. we ordered pepperoni and no joke the pizza maybe had 7/8 pieces on it.. and the guy who answered the phone seemed bothered. This is our first and last time ordering from here. What an absolute waste of money and time. That’s horrible customer service. BE AWARE!!!! RAW FOOD EQUALS BACTERIA!!!!
Very disappointing. Not sure what changed since the last time I was here in 2024 but I won’t be returning. Made reservations, it was my first time here and I hyped this place up but after our experience was embarrassed I did. First, they sat us on the Pizzeria side instead of the restaurant side which was a bit odd but no big deal. The marinara pasta was not good at all. I liked the penne vodka until I found a hair in my food. I lost my appetite. Shrimp was extremely pale looking it didn’t look fresh. My partner didn’t like his shrimp dish, the food just wasn’t up to par and didn’t feel like the authentic italian food I had last years. Also when I went to the bathroom they had a male coworker come in while I was in there. All around not happy
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing first experience. I ordered a plain cheese pie expecting it to be made fresh, but it seemed old. The cheese wasn’t fully melted and the tomato sauce was dried out, which made the pizza taste stale. I also ordered garlic knots and garlic bread. The garlic knots weren’t fresh either, though the garlic bread was just okay. I live only about 7 minutes away, and by the time I got home, the pizza and sides were already cold. This was my first time trying this place, and unfortunately it will be my last.
The pizza was only take out so I could only speak on the products. The Pizzas could have had more love in when made. If one was good and the other not than I'd say maybe it was a fluke, but not on both. Pepperoni Pie looked like they threw it at the pie in anger and the pepperoni landed in one spot on the pie. The cheese pie had no uniformity to it with cheese and sauce lacking far from the edges, so much so the crust was left on the plate cause it was too dry and hard to eat for 5 people. Sad that food preparation has gone down but yet prices have no problem going up. Presentation is free and shows the pride in a business' product. I have no prob paying extra for food that is put together well and not something literally just thrown together just cause its another one. Every product should look as good as the last and taste the same in every bite. This was not written as an insult but more of a wake up call to have a higher standard. Would I try it again? Yes, just a slice, not a pie tho.
Same as everyone else, decent food but the servers need to be given new jobs as gas station attendants. 15 minutes before we could place our order 35 minutes after that 2 sandwiches finally came out Had to ask for more water and after finishing our meals had get up to go find a waiter. (Sunday at 3pm, and there were two tables beside us) Waiter never came to ask how anything was & waiter definitely did not get a tip.
Honest review: The food here is good. The waiters and service on the other hand aren’t. I left a 20% tip and the waiter asked me if the service wasn’t good enough for us. He claimed that a percentage of the tip is being taken out of his paycheck. When I leave a 20% tip I don’t expect to be asked for more, pure greed. Many places nearby where the waiters won’t ask you for more money once you tip decent. Do yourself a favor and take your wallet someplace else.
We were a party of 6 on New Year’s Eve and had a reservation for 5 pm. Not crowded when we arrived. Ordered coffee. It was served with no milk. By the time the milk was served, the coffee was cold. Waited an hour for our meals which were served cold. Sent them back and after 15 minutes, they were returned still cold. If they were heated up the cheese would’ve been melted which it was not. Not sure why our food was just in the back and not served when it was ready. When the check was brought to us, the waiter said that it was not his problem. I then asked him then why was it mine? I came out for a hot meal. Nothing was taken off the bill and I don’t believe that we will be going there again nor will we recommend it. We live in the neighborhood and hoped to have been treated better. The service was extremely slow and partial. Sorry that I left a tip at all.
Food was good, but we waited 45 minutes for only one of our two dishes (ravioli) to be brought out, then another 20 for the second dish (pizza) to finally be brought out. They offered to heat up the ravioli, but brought it back still cold, just with new meatballs. We finished our food and waited another 30+ minutes for our waiter to walk back past us, we actually had to yell to get him to stop and bring the check and a box for our leftovers and luckily we didnt let him leave the side of the table (which he immediately tried to do) so we could pay in a timely fashion. We felt completely ignored the entire time we were there, even though it was lunch time and there was only one or two other tables seated there. Will not be coming back to waste my time or money here again.
Ordered a Margherita pie to go, they gave me a Sicilian with just a ton of sauce no cheese- I’m guessing it was the marinara pie they have? I guess I should have opened the box before leaving. Garlic knots were flat. Very expensive for essentially sauce and bread.
This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Took my kids there so many times when they were younger. I got an order of stuffed shells to take home and it was the worst pasta I have ever had. It was so salty that I couldn't taste any other ingredients. At 2 bites and had to throw it out. What a waste of $23 absolutely horrendous. What has happened to this place? They used to have the best pasta and meatballs on long island now all they did was make me take blood pressure medication. Stay away unless you truly love salty sauce/ food. What a disappointment
