Locale molto vivace e accogliente, cibo molto buono. Servizio ottimo, con personale formato adeguatamente. Qualità prezzo ottima, uno dei locali migliori a como per mangiare qualcosa di veloce e bersi un drink.

Vivo a Como da anni e ogni volta che ho voglia di un buon cocktail, questo è uno dei primi posti a cui penso. Per me è sicuramente nella top 3 dei cocktail bar in città. La location è top: in piena Piazza Volta, con spazi curati sia all’interno che all’esterno, perfetti per ogni stagione. L’atmosfera è rilassata ma curata, ci si sente sempre a proprio agio. La lista dei cocktail è varia, ben pensata e mai banale. Da amante del gin, apprezzo particolarmente la sezione dedicata: ampia, con ottime etichette, anche di nicchia. La qualità dell’offerta è davvero alta, si percepisce attenzione e competenza in ogni proposta. Un punto a favore non da poco riguarda i prezzi: assolutamente onesti, soprattutto se paragonati ai livelli - spesso fuori di testa - che hanno ormai raggiunto tanti locali in città. Tanti gestori puntano solo a spremere i turisti, sacrificando la qualità e penalizzando anche noi “local”, che piano piano ci ritroviamo a cercare alternative. Qui, invece, si ha la sensazione di essere rispettati come clienti abituali. Un vero punto di riferimento, consigliatissimo sia per un aperitivo che per un dopocena di qualità.

Locale di gran classe! Ambiente caldo e accogliente, raffinato e curato nei dettagli. Servizio impeccabile sotto tutti i punti di vista, gentili e cordiali. Prezzi super onesti per essere in centro a Como! Aperitivo e drink eccezionali. Super consigliato, noi ci torniamo ogni volta che siamo di passaggio a Como.

Well appointed low-key cocktail lounge with several small rooms, big comfortable furniture and seating at the bar. We were there in late October for a pre-dinner cocktail, it was cozy with candles setting the mood. The patrons were a diverse crowd, from older, well heeled drinking bourbon to 20 somethings sipping Aperol Spritz. Most of the people were nicely dressed. The mixologist has created a number of drinks inspired by the author. Just a note to those who of you who are stranded in EU and finding it hard to find Tequila, this place does have a small Tequila & Mezcal menu.

Easily the best bar in the entire Lake Como area and probably one of my favorite bars ever. Excellent service, great drinks, and couldn't be any more cool on the inside. At least stop by for a late night drink.

We went to Bar Hemingway two separate nights while in Lake Como and they should definitely part of your night cap itinerary while in Lake Como. The drinks are extremely well done and the staff members take turns being barracks, servers and bartenders. I like the rotation for each who work here as it helps with the spontaneity of the entire place. I do believe it is time for this spot to return to paper as the QR codes to order are very very slow that you have to end up ordering something fast because the menu isn’t generating. Thats ok though they won the ‘Best Cocktail On The Lake’ so it’s worth the QR wait for sure!

Went in without reservation, eight of us, seated with a smile immediately. Had the best cocktail in years at very reasonable cost, with superb free appetizers. Fabulous friendly place, great staff and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

What a lovely bar! They have a great selection of Italian gin, and the staff was extremely attentive. I highly recommend it for an aperitivo if you're in Como!

Great venue right in the centre of Como. Lovely old backstreets Great vibe in here. Lovely service and amazing cocktails. Aperitivo was ok, quite carby though. We asked for the ‘without pork’ option and missed out on some mini sliders 🍔 unfortunately but we had some vol u vent style things and some cheesy stuff. Which was nice. The rest was small packet pretzel balls and nachos. The cocktails were presented well and tasted well. Only negative, no toilet seat on the loo!

This cocktail bar is truly amazing, with space in the courtyard it's got a really cool vibe with plenty of staff who are all friendly. The drinks were really tasty and they serve you a little spread for free with your drinks. I would get rid of the little sandwich on the spread but otherwise delicious. Highly recommend this spot.

Un locale di classe, con un ottimo servizio. Ha una buona lista di alcolici; i cocktail sono ispirati ai gusti del famoso scrittore, ma non c'è molto altro nel menù. Ci sono anche cocktail analcolici e vini. I prezzi sono alti, ma il cibo offerto assieme al drink non è male. L'atmosfera è molto caratteristica e accogliente; ci si sente in un salotto.

Locale molto carino e sofisticato nel centro di Como. Ci siamo recati con alcuni amici per fare aperitivo dopo aver trovato dei consigli su Instagram. L'atmosfera al suo interno è abbastanza particolare, intima ma non troppo, quasi rilassante, con musica in sottofondo e luci basse. Il personale è stato gentile e disponibile, anche se leggermente distaccato ma credo sia una caratteristica del locale, dato anche il suo stile. Vini molto buoni e idem i cocktail, veramente graziosi nella loro presentazione. È possibile infatti provare qualcosa di diverso dal solito, non i soliti drink visti e rivisti. La formula aperitivo ha un buon prezzo, consentendo di gustare il tagliere con vari stuzzichini in base al numero di persone (noi eravamo 4). In seguito, dato che avevamo ancora fame, abbiamo ordinato dei mini panini assieme ad altri vini e cocktail. Nel complesso locale consigliato, ci siamo trovati bene!

Finalmente un mojito buono a Como. Ottima atmosfera, personale molto gentile e preparato. Servono il caffè in moca singola! Cocktail ricercati. Si sta ottimamente anche nei tavolini all'esterno nonostante il freddo, grazie alle lampade riscaldanti e alle copertine in dotazione.

Il luogo è tranquillo e accogliente. L'interno è particolare ma molto interessante, l'esterno è fresco e con comode sedie. Il personale gentile e preparato. L'aperitivo buono con cibo di buona qualità, ottimo lo spriz e le birre. L'unica pecca il menù dei cocktail che non spiega bene cosa ci sia dentro. Ci tornerei!

Bel locale curato ma… servizio e accoglienza pessima: ci fanno accomodare in tre, ma prima dell’ordine ci fanno spostare perché “il tavolo è da due…”. Dopo 20 secondi, fanno accomodare altri clienti al nostro posto… tre clienti… ci alziamo salutiamo e ce ne andiamo. La mano destra che non sa quello che fa la mano sinistra! Abituati troppo bene qui a Como…

This used to be one of the best cocktail bars in the city. The location is still perfect — quiet, breezy, inviting. But the atmosphere has changed completely. The same waiters and barmen from the “golden days” now treat guests with visible annoyance. You have to warn them in advance just to get proper ice in your Negroni — and still get eye-rolls in return. Cocktails are often poorly made, but loyal customers keep hoping for the old quality. Now they even send you to sit on the crowded square — but we come here for peace, not noise! Maybe management or priorities changed, but why punish loyal old guests? If the staff hates the job, maybe it’s time for them to move on? Sorry but we live here and we never say anything bad to you. A bit of education and respect would be more than enough
