Un’esperienza gastronomica sorprendente sul Lario Eravamo in quattro, con due ospiti, e abbiamo scelto il ristorante Piazza Roma attirati dalla proposta di cucina tipica del territorio, in particolare i piatti di pesce d’acqua dolce, che personalmente non avevo mai avuto occasione di provare, visto che a Cagliari abbiamo ben altra scelta. Sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito: tutto è andato alla perfezione, dall’accoglienza al servizio, attento e cordiale, fino ovviamente alla cucina. Io ho scelto il Misto di lago – un delizioso assortimento di paté di lavarello, trota marinata al pepe rosa, polenta e missoltino – seguito dai Tagliolini al missoltino del Lario e passata di pomodori, un piatto davvero ben equilibrato e ricco di sapore, che valorizza un ingrediente unico come il missoltino in chiave elegante e moderna. Un ristorante che consiglio vivamente a chi vuole scoprire i sapori autentici del Lago di Como in un ambiente curato e accogliente.

Ottima cena al ristorante piazza Roma Como..per iniziare un antipasto di crudo fritto accompagnato da mozzarella di bufala su una crema di melone e menta (vedi foto)..veramente gustona e delicata..secondo di costata di manzo con patate e verdure buonissima e abbondante e per concludere sorbetto limone e braulio..cena ottima ed servizio eccellente e allo stesso tempo elegante!lo consiglio per qualunque occasione. Sua con amici o con il proprio compagno/a!

Tra le bellezze del lago di Como non si può perdere una cena al ristorante Piazza di Roma. Piatti raffinati, ottimo servizio e cantina vini top. Grazie per averci regalato serate speciali.

Siamo arrivati senza prenotazione e inizialmente non c’erano tavoli disponibili. Lo staff, però, è stato incredibilmente gentile: hanno spostato una fioriera per sistemare un tavolino solo per noi. Nell’attesa, ci hanno offerto dei calici di prosecco — un gesto davvero apprezzato! Il personale è stato attento, cordiale e molto premuroso. I prezzi sono onesti e tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato era delizioso. Un’esperienza davvero piacevole. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo vivamente!

Esperienza sublime in questo ristorante molto elegante, accoglienza eccezionale grazie al suo proprietario, persona garbata che sà metterti a proprio agio. Portate eccezionali in particolare i primi piatti (scialatiello Top 🔝), con prodotti di alta qualità ed ottimi abbinamenti di gusto. Abbiamo trascorso veramente una bella serata, consigliatissimo!

Personale gentilissimo e attento ma assolutamente non invadente, cucina a vista (adoro), cibo tutto buonissimo, noi abbiamo preso tutte le portate del nostro lago (me ne ricorderò quando vorrò far assaggiare i ns sapori a chi viene da fuori). Menzione speciale per i tagliolini con missoltino e nell'antipasto di lago la polentina con patè di missoltino e la tartare di trota! La qualità c'è e si sente, prezzo assolutamente commisurato al servito e al servizio. Consigliato, ci tornerò.

Locale molto carino con arredo curato, nell'attesa del tavolo ci è stato offerto l'aperitivo, gesto che ci ha piacevolmente stupiti. Piatti ottimi e molto curati sia come aspetto che nella qualità dei prodotti utilizzati. i Tagliolini al Missoltino del Lario erano eccezionali. Il proprietario, che gestisce il locale con i figli, è stato molto gentile e disponibile. E' stato un piacere cenare e scambiare due parole con loro. Un piacevole ricordo, sicuramente da ripetere quando torneremo a Como

Cucina superba, materie prime ottime e gustose, sapori ben bilanciati e delicati. Il locale molto curato, con una stupenda parete in pietra che ti fa sentire in un vicolo all' aperto nonostante tu sia all' interno di un locale. Personale super cordiale e competente, un pasto e una serata veramente uniche e fantastiche.

Siamo arrivati qui in tre a pranzo - in sabato di epifania, per caso e senza prenotazione, accolti molto affabilmente da Johnny ed il figlio, chef quest'ultimo del locale. Immediatamente ci hanno trovato posto, fortunatamente grazie ad una rinuncia. Locale piccolo, ma molto curato dal punto di vista dell'arredamento, con unico neo del bagno esterno. Ottimo pranzo: antipasto, primo piatto, secondo e contorni, dessert, caffè. Prezzi in linea con la qualità dei piatti offerti, sicuramente affascinanti per mano dello chef. Riscontro positivo, da tornarci per cortesia, simpatia e offerta del cibo.

Locale piccolo e intimo, arredato in modo forse un po troppo "vistoso" ma comunque gradevole. Il titolare è molto simpatico e "pittoresco". Buon menu con diversi piatti delle tradizione locale. Ottima carta dei vini. Da provare l'antipasto misto del lago. Ottimi dolci. Prezzo un po alto ma ripagato dalla qualità.

Um, yum… Had to google a recipe. Tasted so good. This is the Scialatielli (short, thick pasta) in a creamy marinara sauce topped with cream and basil. Shared each dish family style. Big portions. Had the beef burrata and prosciutto apertivo, also served with basil. And a fresh garden salad- this could have used more variety of veggies, but a great way to finish the meal. Waiter was very attentive, courteous, and anticipated our needs accurately.

We came here absolutely spontaneously — two families, seven adults and kids. We were looking for pizza but luckily discovered the "Piazza" instead. Of course, November in Como is off-season, but on a sunny Saturday at 1 p.m., with the Christmas market just starting, everything was crowded and busy. We arrived without a reservation, just hoping to get a table. Naturally, all tables were taken. And then our “lunch saver” appeared — the owner of the restaurant. He is an awesome guy! We needed two tables for our group, which was quite a challenge because the indoor space isn't very large and it was a bit chilly outside. First, he offered free prosecco to all adults while we waited. As soon as we finished our drinks, a table was ready for us. The food was absolutely amazing! I love rack of lamb, and theirs was perfect — I’ve never had such tender, juicy, and flavorful lamb. All the dishes were excellent. The desserts were incredible too, especially their signature cheesecake and tiramisu. He brought us a complimentary bottle of great white wine, offered free limoncello as a digestif, and truly did everything to make our visit to Lake Como unforgettable!

This restaurant is an absolute gem! It’s very accessible and has such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazingly delicious, every dish was bursting with flavor. And the ambience? Chef’s kiss! Truly perfect for a relaxing meal by Lake Como. The owner was incredibly accommodating and generous, he even surprised us with a complimentary sparkling wine and prosciutto! His son was so sweet and attentive, assisting us throughout our meal with genuine warmth. Even the chefs were kind and friendly, which made the whole experience feel extra special. If you ever find yourself in Lake Como, you absolutely must visit this restaurant. The owner went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Even though the restaurant was officially closed, he was kind enough to welcome us in with genuine warmth and hospitality. To make things even better, the owner surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and shared local recommendations that made the rest of our trip even more memorable. The absolute best restaurant in como. The head chef actually has a Michelin star and this is your most reasonable chance at Michelin quality food!!! The wait staff (Valter) is the best. He gave the best recommendations + the food and wine pairings were top notch. We came back night after night. This place is family owned and treat you like their favorite family members. The octopus was unbelievable. We were ordering 2 every night. The scalliatelli, lamb chops, steak, shell fish ravioli, and fish of the day were all amazing. Finishing off with the tiramisu was the perfect end to every night. I can’t express enough, our gratitude to the staff for the most amazing experience time after time. THANK YOU VALTER & EDON!!👏🏼🩵

I genuinely do not understand how not 100% of reviews are 5 stars as this is the best restaurant that I have ever been to (and I go to a lot). From the quality of the ingredients to the way food was cooked and how it tasted, from the knowledge and kindness of the staff to the execution of service, everything was excellent. My 8 years of hospitality were crying tears of happiness. Beautiful set-up, exceptional ambiance, and staff that I wish I worked alongside with (that's how good they were from every aspect restaurant should be good by). This restaurant is the epitome of hospitality done the right way and I feel more than grateful to have been taken there to enjoy the experience they offer. Because that's what this place is. Not just somewhere to eat, but an experience to behold. Thank you so much everyone (especially for Edon and Valton >I hope I'm spelling this right<) for the best dinner experience I ever had and more so, thank yourselves for all the effort and passion you put into your restaurant!!! The food here is stunning and the staff were so lovely and warm throughout the entire meal. This was our last meal on our trip throughout Italy and it was by far the best food we’ve eaten and the best service we’ve had. A lovely restaurant in Piazza Roma. The interior decoration is quirky giving it a style of its own that works really well. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. I had the fritto di calamari e gamberi and my partner had a plate of pasta followed by what he said was a delicious tiramisu. To top it all, the service was great, the staff were polite and friendly and went the extra crew mile to ensure we had a lovely experience there. Will definitely be back when we visit Como next time.

Not only the best restaurant we went to in Como, but one of the best meals we had in our two weeks in Italy. All the food was very high quality. The plating was beautiful. The waiter was terrific. Honestly, beyond terrific. He helped pick the menu, help with wine pairings, and even brought over an appetizer we chose not to order (free) just because he said he wanted us to try it. And to top it off, the cost was very reasonable for that quality of food. A must go place.

Il posto è piccolo e grazioso. Il titolare ed il figlio molto accoglienti e disponibili. Il ristorante è situato a 2 passi dal duomo, quindi centralissimo. I piatti sono eccellenti e ben presentati. A mio parere vanno corrette le porzioni. Non è una location gourmet, ma l'impiattamento lo è. Per quanto buono ce ne siamo andati con la fame.

I piatti che abbiamo mangiato erano squisiti e il servizio è stato cordiale. Unica cosa negativa e per cui mi sento di attribuire 4 stelle invece di 5, è che ho trovato i prezzi un po più alti di quanto sarei stato disposto a pagare per ciò che ho ricevuto. Detto questo, il locale rimane comunque un posto dove ho mangiato molto bene e dove penso che potrei ritornare in futuro.

Prima volta in questo ristorante, non ho particolarmente amato lo sfarzo nell’arredo l’eccessiva impostazione del personale di servizio, ma questi sono gusti personali, forse preferisco la sostanza all’apparenza, detto questo nessuno dei piatti serviti a tavola è stato spiegato. Ho preso come antipasto il misto lago, mi sarebbe piaciuto mi venisse spiegato quanto presente nel piatto e magari suggerito il percorso. Certo era scritto nel menù, ma lo si potrebbe anche dimenticare. I due pezzetti di formaggio li ho trovati inutili, due pezzettini di burro aromatizzato da abbinare al pane tostato ed il carpaccio avrebbero avuto molto più senso. Di primo ho preso i ravioli con vongole. Entrambi i piatti li ho trovati buoni. La mia personale impressione è che se si pensasse di più al servizio la valutazione sarebbe sicuramente più alta. Piccoli accorgimenti, per esempio le bottigliette d’olio al tavolo erano entrambe vuote. Magari l’uso di un olio del lago eleverebbe anche i piatti. In totale onestà, il personale vedendoci indecisi sui dolci da prendere ne ha portato uno in più offerto da farci assaggiare, cosa ovviamente molto apprezzata. Insomma, il locale è in centro, i piatti sono presentati bene e sono buoni, piccoli accorgimenti veramente farebbero la differenza. Consiglio di andarci perché ha un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Piccolo ristoratore vicino al lago di como. L’ arredamento è discutibile ma ha il suo stile. Il personale molto gentile non è invadente e sa consigliarti al meglio cosa prendere. Qualità del cibo molto alta, pesce fresco e piatti ben cucinati, consiglio di aggiungere più gamberi crudi bella pasta con crema di zucchine poiché sono troppo pochi. Porzioni abbondanti. Un ringraziamento speciale al cameriere che ci ha offerto qualche piatto da poter assaggiare, ci torneremo sicuramente.

Sono stato questa sera in questo ristorante molto intimo, abbiamo mangiato un ottimo pescato del giorno e una buona frittura, forse un po' troppo cotta.... Caffè e grappa eccezionale. Personale educato e cordiale. Consiglio!

Non prendete pasta con zucchini e gamberi. I gamberi sono piccolini e pochi. Il capo ristorante faceva anche il furbo dicendomi "non vedi che e pieno?"
