A perfect place to spend the night with others. This restaurant has a comforting mood-lit dining complimented with great service. The menu is very versatile as it has vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Our food came in less than ten minutes, and did not disappoint (we had ordered margarita pizza, a bowl of brussel sprouts and truffle fries). A little odd as it sounds, I would recommend the truffle fries if you were thinking of getting them, it had the perfect amount of crisp and richness. The brussel sprouts were a tad overcooked, not a big issue though as they were devoured by my sister. Would definitely come back here again, great atmosphere!

Doppio Zero in Concord offers an authentic Italian dining experience that truly impressed me from start to finish. We ordered the La Carne pizza along with other menu items, and everything arrived incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The crust on the pizza struck the perfect balance of crispy and airy, topped with high-quality ingredients that showcased the restaurant’s commitment to traditional Italian flavors. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — modern, yet cozy — making it suitable for date nights, family gatherings, or casual dinners with friends. They offer beer and wine, and I really enjoyed a chilled Peroni, which paired perfectly with the food. Another plus is the free and ample parking, which makes dining here that much more convenient. The space is also accessible, making it easy for all guests to enjoy. Our total came out to around $140, and it felt worth every penny considering the quality, service, and overall experience. If you’re looking for a genuine Italian restaurant in the East Bay with excellent pizza and a great vibe, Doppio Zero is a must-try — I’ll definitely be returning soon! Just an amazing place ✨️ 😌

Update 1/10/26: our second visit and still the same! 10/10 Such an amazing place! First time visit to this Doppio situated in an upscale strip-mall type of setting in Concord. The seating and check-in was fairly fast and our hostess was super nice. Within minutes, we placed our order and within minutes the fresh food arrived. Each item was delish, fresh, and tasty. I highly recommend Doppio Zero for a very good italian meal! A+++

Great Italian restraunt, there's a nice bar inside with good draft beers and lots of liquor choices. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. The brick-oven baked pizza is amazing! Soft bread but well cooked. Their Prosciutto and Burrata are delicious, too. The bread was a little hard for me, but it had good flavor. Lastly the Cioccolato cake with mixed berries is irresistible. Highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful experience during my date at this restaurant. The staff seated us promptly when we walked in without a reservation. Despite being busy, we received attentive service through a great team effort, which I appreciated immensely. Our waiter assisted us with the menu and recommended trying the seasonal swordfish, which we did. The food was exceptional in both presentation and taste, and the timing of the service was impeccable. This restaurant truly stands out, and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you!

The food and the drinks were really good. I’ve tried their signature cocktail and it was fresh and fruity. I had the sea bass and it was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and all flavors came together in harmony.

Fantastic service. Our server John had fantastic recommendations and was extremely on point! We ordered rib eye, ox tail pasta, and the lasagna. Each item was PERFECT. Highly recommend the oxtail pasta!

First time here and the place was packed on a Sunday evening. Ordered a pizza and fried calamari and was impressed of how great they were. The service was quick and everyone was having a good time. Will definitely come back and try the other menus.

We had a wonderful lunch here today. The restaurant has beautiful decor and makes you feel relaxed but high end at the same time. For our appetizers we had the calamari and the grilled octopus. Both were exceptional. The battery on the calamari was light and crisp, with just the perfect amount of seasoning. The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly and was served with a delicious dressed arugula salad. For our mains, we shared the Fungo pizza and the Carbonara. The pasta was perfectly cooked and had a great texture, the sauce was creamy and not short on pancetta. The pizza had a light and soft crust, with the perfect amount of char around the edges and the mushrooms were full of flavor. Definitely will have to come back and try the other pizzas and pastas they offer.

This was my third time going here and it happened to be my mother's birthday. Food was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. The service was excellent the first 2 times, however, this last time, they were not very attentive and hence the 4, but for this particular visit, I would typically rate their service at 3. The food is fresh and hot. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. I feel like their take on Italian food is authentic-- a true taste of Italy.

Here you can find delicious food and a calm atmosphere. The service is 5 from 5. The waiting time from order to eat is 10 min. Tips start from 20%. 🍝I ate lasagna for $22 and said with confidence that it was the best lasagna in the Bay area. Every layer has enough meat (veal, beef, pork). The tomato sauce smells nice and has a very good consistency of tomatoes and seasonings. I noticed that the frequent problem in all restaurants is adding too much tomato sauce. Here, your lasagna will have an acceptable quantity of tomato sauce. The white sauce has a soft, creamy taste. The noodles were perfectly cooked. Every component was fresh and tasty. I like how the lasagna was baked bubbly. Be careful because the plate is very hot. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace and a huge inside space. The chairs are comfortable. Also, here's a huge table for a big company (~15 people more). I am planning to visit this place shortly and try the pizza. Thanks!

First time here in March 2023. Had the Chef's special pizza (forgot the name), meatballs and shishito peppers appetizers. Everything was delicious. Atmosphere was nice too. Service was great. Would love to go back and try more of their menu!

Just the fact that this Doppio location was willing to sit us down as walk-ins on one of the busiest days without reservation, it deserves a 10/10/10. The pasta always hits and the pizzas are the traditional Napolitano style, thin and doughy edges. We had a great date night on Valentine's day. The staff accommodated us while sitting outside and got chilly, they brought the patio heaters for us to feel comfortable.

In my opinion, Doppio Zero makes the best pizza I’ve ever had. I haven’t ventured into much of their menu. But everything that I have eaten is so delicious, especially the Margarita pizza, their ravioli & the arugula with Pear salad is divine. Enjoy!

Nice place in the Veranda complex. Food is good. I ordered the mushroom ravioli and it was really good. I wish they served the bread basket too. I think they can improve on the service. The server never checks on you if you need anything else For example if you need any condiments you just wait but no one ever comes. Ambience is good.

This by far the worst restaurant I have been to. They got the pizza in 5 mins and it was soggy and reheated. Ravioli is uncooked and bruschetta is colder than Walnut Creek in winters.
