A staple in the community for over 40 years, they did not disappoint. The staff is attentive and friendly. The owner always seems to be on site. He used to cook there and now he just oversees a great restaurant.

Visiting my brother and his wife from Jersey and the ordered take out for me from here because it's one of their favorite places. The food was SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD! The pesto and jambalaya -rice instead of noodles - was top tier. I actually ordered to go on to take back with me. Friendly service too! The bread is also delicious. No complaints. Love their food

Was looking for Italian food on our way out of Walnut Creek and stumbled upon Pasta Pizza Primavera. All I have to say was OMG. It was delicious. The service was excellent even tho it was packed and the food was even better. I have to say that the Mona Lisa is a must have and the Chicken Piccata. Will definitely go Out of my way to come back. 5 star all the way!! Back here. 5 Star all the way!

Great place. It is one of the restaurants open past 9pm on friday and Saturday in the concord/WC/PH area. Very good little bar, bar stools have back support. Somewhat limited on beer selection. But very good staff. the restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. Selection is also good. The atmosphere and decor are classy and their use of mirrors is well done to make a smaller restaurant look fairly large.

Great food and cocktails. Very bright dining area. Fresh bread was outstanding.

Haven’t been here in a long time. The food was amazing! The chef deserves an applause for the signature sauces the pasta was mixed in and the appetizer was cooked in. The most delicious calamari appetizer and pasta I’ve ever tried. Even the house salad was the best I’ve ever had. Our waiter was very good for her food and wine suggestions. Thank you!

I enjoyed the atmosphere unexpectedly, since it is at the end of a small strip mall. The inside decor feels american Italian. The staff was friendly and capable. The wine list was ok and reasonably priced. I ordered the puttanesca and my partner ordered the pesto shrimp and chicken. Both were tasty. There are scattered tables catering to different size groups. There is a bar in the middle of the restaurant that looks comfortable. The menu should cater to many Italian tastes and the dessert menu looks good, though we didn't partake. Parking may be a problem. There doesn't look like there are many spaces.

Loved the linguine and white clams! My 5 and 4 year old enjoyed the fresh warm rolls, kid's menu where you can pick out your noodles and sauce. They also had a giant jelly bean jar where there kids could grab as many as they wanted and had little to go cups for them. Definitely will be back!

Great little restaurant. I've eaten lunch here 3 times, never disappointed. Large portions of flavorful food, great bread, large pizza oven and amazing pasta dishes. Like home-cooked. The beef ravioli bolognese is so tasy, hearty, mildly spicy. Parking isn't the greatest - a few spaces off street out front, so side streets or N Main may work at busy times. Italian music on the PA system.

Well how you can see I'm hooked with this dish Chicken and shrimp pesto fettuccine along with a perfect Manhattan knob creek bourbon, bread and butter, and Sometimes a Caesar salad 🥗 if you are traveling North or south on 680 hwy and you feel like stopping by for lunch or dinner or to stretch your legs, I think you should stop here and eat and relax for a bit.

Its the 2nd time Im visiting the restaurant. I really like it. Every time Im in the area and fill like I want a good Italian food & environment I know where to go. The decoration, background music, the staff is awesome and feels very cozy and welcoming. This time I had a chicken soup, Calamari steak & Puttanesca. Food was delicious. If you are in the area just swing by the Pasta Primavera restaurant and try it yourself.

Great experience overall; food and service were very good. The only negative was that I dined alone and was "encouraged" to sit at the counter instead of a table even though I had a reservation but the attentive waitress made up for it. Seafood Primavera was excellent!

Parking: a little tight BUT since the rest of the neighboring businesses were closed it gives room to park in front. Wait: less than 10minutes Lighting: intimate but bright enough to read the menu Spacious seating & plenty of hand sanitizers around. Each seating area had a sanitizer bottle. My husband & I were at the mall & even though there were plenty of restaurants around to eat from (cause it's currently only take out) or outdoor seating (it's too cold even with the heaters) nothing jumped out at us til we seen Pasta Primavera. Service was GREAT! We were able to dine in & had sufficient amount of space away from others (more than 6ft). Did not wait long for our food either. 😋 The food was DELICIOUS! The bread & whatever red sauce/dip that comes with it was 🤤 yuuumm warm & soft, I mean the bread alone gave my husband & I the impression that wwooww the rest of our dinner was about to be bomb. Pasta salad 🥗 enough for two to split. Coconut combo was soooo good, the amount of sauce was perfect 👌 that you could eat the rice with it alone. My husband killed his Paella combo, he was even genius enough to do 1/2 & 1/2 (rice & choice of pasta) instead of just rice. Rice was cooked right too, not dry or crunchy & not too moist & mushy. For dessert we had a choice of gelato 🍨, creme brûlée🍮, or tiramisu. We went with chocolate gelato & creme brûlée🤤soooo good, the chocolate gelato is rich & paired perfectly with the creme brûlée. Even when closing time was approaching, we didn't feel rushed at all like other places. Our waitress Courtney(spell check) recommended the Primavera 🍕 pizza so that's what we got to go. Writing this review about 3-4hrs after, and have yet to get into the pizza cause I'm still full. Also we loved that our food was delicious & wasn't too oily either. If ever in the area again we're definitely coming back. We used the restrooms. Only one toilet in each restroom. Both were clean. Sink water pressure was a little weak in the women's

Not enough people are posting about the pizza! My husband ran by and noticed the pizza oven and within the week we were having dinner her to check out this pizza after being able to find like one other photo of the pizza. Pizza resembles a Neapolitan style pizza but crust is still American but not greasy. It was good! Would eat it again.

Food was very tasty, waitress was attentive, and the feel inside is romantic. The bread and what tasted like sundried tomato olive oil dip was really good! I even added the rest of the dip to part of my pasta. I ordered the veggie pesto pasta which was fresh, creamy and yummy. Good place for a date or dinner with friends. I also enjoyed the Sinatra music being played.

My husband and I were driving around looking for a place to eat when we saw Pasta Primavera on the side of the road and we are so glad we decided to stop! From the moment we walked in, it felt like fine-dining service in a comfortable, casual atmosphere. Our server was amazing, attentive, and really made the experience feel special. The food was delicious. I ordered the cheese tortellini with mushrooms, pancetta, and peas. It was creamy, flavorful, and very satisfying. Not the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life, but definitely tasty and well prepared. My husband had the jambalaya, which was served over pasta instead of rice. It was a really unique and unexpected twist blending Italian and Cajun flavors together, and it worked! The Caesar salad was authentic (none of the overly creamy white dressing you usually see!), and the crème brûlée was the perfect sweet finish to an impromptu dinner out. Overall, we left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. Highly recommend giving this place a try! 🍝✨

Absolutely amazing food. We went in on a Saturday night around 7pm. We did not wait to be seated at all. We ordered the calamari which was so good, probably one of the best i have had in an extremely long time. The Chicken Pesto Gorganzola was delicious as well as the seafood Primavera. They also served fresh bread. Great atmosphere and staff. Quick and tentative. The prices were very reasonable for how good the food was and great sized portions.

This is an absolute gem of a restaurant! My husband and I went in for lunch today and had the most enjoyable time. When we walked in we were greeted right away and got sat instantaneously. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. We ordered the garlic bread and steamed clams to start. The garlic bread was made to order in their pizza oven and the clams were delicious and packed with fresh herbs. For our mains, my husband got the beef ravioli and I got the pasta carbonara, both were exquisite. When our minds came out, our server brought out fresh bread rolls and butter to accompany our meal. Everything was perfect! This is a must try for Italian in there area.

Chicken piccata was good, a little pricey at $18.99. They serve the table with bread and sauce to dip it in. No complaints really.

The atmosphere was a very nice surprise. Came on a Saturday night, and was just crowded enough that if felt alive but was still very calm and quiet. You can hear the person next to you. Their decor is beautiful. Stylish and simple. The food was good. Flavors were nothing to write home about, but food was fresh and solid. Portions were generous. Our server was very nice but we felt a bit forgotten at times. They weren't that busy and had a lot of workers but everyone seemed overworked which was strange. I think she realized it and made up for it at the end with extra attention. Overall would recommend for a nice dinner where atmosphere is important such as a birthday or anniversary, or if you just have the money to spend and want to try something new. Much nicer inside than outside, which looks a bit dumpy. You will be happy once you get inside.

I stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Sat at the bar and had dinner by myself. The Bartender was excellent. Delicious Italian Martini! Had the chicken and shrimp pesto and it was ok. Shrimp a little overdone and sauce a little less tasty than I would have hoped for but the chicken was cooked perfectly and was tasty. Atmosphere good except there was a bunch of cardboard and debris on the floor in a room off to the side- just seemed strange because the rest of the place was lovely. Loved the staff- very friendly. Would come back and try a different dish. Oh- excellent rolls!

Everything tasted pretty good here! The pizza my brother ordered looked picture perfect as well. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the pricing on certain appetizers. Felt small / stingy at times. Overall tho it was lovely and I would come back if ever in the area again.

Been going to Pasta Primavera for 20+ years — and even though there are other tasty menu options I always go with the Pesto Chicken Gorgonzola. This dish is so tasty — sauteed chunks of chicken goodness, throw in some garlic, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach with an addicting plate licking pesto gorgonzola sauce. The few times I've tried something else on the menu...it was good, but not like this.

Their tiramisu sets the bar for all other versions as far as we’re concerned: no Hershey’s syrup here, it’s got a very well liqueur-soaked base topped with the lightest, smoothest cocoa-dusted sweet mascarpone. We took a bite and closed our eyes and stopped moving to savor its flavor and texture. The second unique aspect of this restaurant is the sundried tomato eggplant tapenade they serve with a basket of bread. You might need to ask for it; I saw another table request it so I did too, but it used to be given as soon as we were seated. Today we ordered the Veal Piccata, Vegetarian Pesto Rigatoni, Veal Saltimbocca by accident and Warm Bruschetta. All were excellent. We came at lunch on Sunday and only four tables were occupied. The servers kept our glasses filled, brought everything in a timely manner and were pleasant. One server accidentally brought us Veal Saltimbocca, and was very gracious in correcting the order and bringing my husband the Veal Piccata he’d been craving. The sauce had wine and capers with the addition of thinly sliced red onions. My pesto cream sauce had parsley in addition to the basil and hardly any detectable garlic. The parsley had me wondering if my rigatoni was whole wheat because of its fresh texture in the sauce. Great establishment.

We've been here a couple of times. The food is decent, and they have a nice build your own pasta option for the kids. The maranara sauce is a little spicy for the littlest of our kids. The service is super slow, but the staff is very nice. Recommend when you have more leisure time and don't have to rush to get little kids to bed.

Made a reservation electronically and got a strange message that it is not guaranteed. Weird. No problem when i showed up as only one quarter of the tables were occupied. Ordered the stuffed tortellini and got a plate full of commercial product with peas in a thin sauce. Canned mushrooms and small shavings of prosciutto completed the dish. Very run of the mill. The bread plate and tomato dipping sauce were much more interesting.

When the wine tastes like it’s been open couple of days longer than it needs to be , the bread is nothing to write home about , the chicken alfredo is so basic you might as well make and eat it at home , then you know you’re at Pasta Primavera I didn’t see any Italians in the kitchen Food is bland and soulless , even tasteless Wine is on the verge of becoming vinegar I would definitely skip if I am looking for good Italian It looks lively at the outset but believe me , by the time you start eating the pasta , you’ll be regretting the decision to come here

I rarely review restaurants, but it was my first time ever leaving a restaurant without paying, so thought it was worth doing! We had reservations for a 6pm dinner on Xmas Eve and arrived on time. We were 6 people, and the place was clearly overwhelmed. We were sat at a table with mismatched chairs. Within 20 minutes we still had nothing, so begged for some water and bread. Many, many other diners were in the same position as us, as clearly the restaurant bit off more than it could chew. The few servers for the 100+ dinners were clearly stressed. After an hour we barely had our orders in. After 90 minutes, we had to leave to make church service, and left $20 for the bread and ice teas (the only thing we had). Food was still 10 minutes away at a minimum. There was no manager to ever complain too - it was complete chaos! They need to either staff correctly or not take some many diners, as they completely ruined Xmas Eve. Kudos to Wendy’s next door that fed us within 8 minutes. 🥹

I don’t know who is leaving these 5 star reviews probably the owners friends and family. But the food here is so bland and disgusting. The sauces tasted like boiled water and some seasoning. The waitress was scary! She wasn’t smiling, was on her phone and served us cold hard as a rock bread that made a mess all over the table. Then I saw her serve the same bread to someone else, she picked it up with her bare hands after she wiped down the bar counter and didn’t wash her hands. So that probably explains the quality of the food. After the food was served I didn’t see her until I had to hunt her down for to go containers and the bill. And no “thank yous”. No wonder this place was empty my mom was sooo disappointed because we were starving and she wanted Olive Garden and I took here. Sorry mom.

Waited over 30 minutes, 4 others sat before us claiming reservations although the hostess nor owner did not even verify any type of reservations. Were promised the next available table from the owner but ended up walking out after 45 minutes. Very disappointing night out with my 85 year old mother, daughter and grandson. Will not patronize this establishment again.

The pizza is usually good but this time it tasted so bland and cold, they didn’t have the toppings that I wanted and it was just disappointing. Not worth the 20 dollars I spent on it :( it tasted like bread and cheese nothing good tbh.

Lack Luster Experience- Last night I took my wife for dinner here. We had been waiting to try this place and it was her Birthday. 1st- The service was horrible. We had to ask for water, bread, and Butter. The waitress seemed busy or uninterested. However the restaurant wasnt busy. 2nd- Food was average. Two pasta meals and mussels covered in tomato sauce. Nothing special. After spending $120 for two I expect way better service, recommendations and overall a better experience. At the end of the night, we asked to take a roll with our food and the server said "no, they ran out of bread." Guess who won't be coming back...🙋‍♂️

Restaurant was overcrowded and noisy. Chicken was tough and overcooked. Server never asked if we wanted more bread, drink refills or dessert. Bringing us the bill was her only priority. There are so many other local restaurants to enjoy. We will pass on this one.
