Everything was amazing! The homemade flour tortillas were so good! Fajitas were delicious and music was fun!

I have been here twice now and have had their happy hour house margaritas both times ($5) and delicious! Tonight I tried some enchiladas with green sauce and it had great flavor. The food was nicely plated. The service takes a little long but everyone was friendly and helpful the entire time we were there.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Texas. The service is amazing, the food is amazing and the environment is amazing 😍 I highly recommend their handmade tortillas and rice 👍

We loved everything about this hidden gem. We started with chips, salsa and queso. The salsa is excellent and a little spicy. The queso was far above the average queso. You could taste the different cheeses and added pico. We had the Molcajete Mix on the appetizer menu as our meal. I'm so glad we did! It was delicious with grilled beef, chicken, shrimp, mushroom, onion, bell pepper, grilled cheese and nopales (cactus) in this scrumptious garlic, butter sauce. All served in a giant, very hot, stone Molcajete. This dish was served with 2 plates of rice and beans along with guacamole, sour cream, pico and the best homemade corn and/or flour tortillas! It was plenty enough for 2 people and we took some home. We loved the decor and they even have cloth napkins. Rob, our server/bartender was knowledgeable, engaging and attentive. My only disappointment was the small size of the slice of chocolate cake for $10.00. This place will soon be the "go to" Authentic Mexican restaurant in Montgomery County! We are delighted with our great find!

The beef fajitas were sublime. Tender, juicy cuts of steak with grilled onions and peppers. The salsa is hot and the guacamole is fresh. Paired with corn tortillas and charro beans and rice and this makes for a fantastic meal.

This place is delicious. Each plate has a classy look and the food is by far an authentic taste. Ask for Sophia if you are having a private event and she will take good care of you and your guests.

We tried this place and absolutely loved it. Their food was amazing, and the presentation on point. Service was also amazing. I enjoyed just hanging out here even without a drink (as I don't drink) but it's just a cool atmosphere with good music.

I was rather dubious when I stopped in at La Pizca for a late lunch on Sunday. There were only a handful of cars in the parking lot (and they were all parked in the back, suggesting that they all belonged to employees). But, as I already mentioned, it was a LATE lunch and the lunch crowd had undoubtedly already come and gone. I am very glad I stopped to try La Pizca. Their food was surprisingly good. It all tasted fresh and had a real zip to it! La Pizca is now my favorite Mexican restaurant inside Conroe’s Loop 336.

Always great food & great service! The food is always fresh. The green salsa is a bit spicy (to me) so proceed with caution. It tastes good, just on the hot side (again, that's just my taste buds). We go for lunch quite often. They have a lunch menu & it is reasonably priced. Wheelchair & walker friendly. Spacious seating. Getting inside the restaurant is best with two people if you have a wheelchair / walker.

The waiter was excellent and the food was spectacular. I enjoyed my dinning experience and will be back

2nd time visiting this place and I feel like it got better, can’t remember what I had the first time but this time I had the beef fajitas. They had a green and red salsa with chips and let me tell you we couldn’t stop eating the green salsa it had a small hint of spice which was amazing. Food had great taste and service was great might be family owned restaurant and people from the kitchen came to help server. I wish other people knew about this place because both times I have been here it’s been a bit empty

La Pizca 9/10 ⭐ Conroe on West Davis The location once known as Manny's BBQ is now La Pizca. A fairly extensive remodel to fill in the formerly inset floor and some walls have been removed to open it up. FOOD: A fresh salsa served with the chips. It may be too much heat for some people (like my wife) but I loved it. The queso was fine they don't offer queso blanco so you're stuck with yellow cheese. I had the Birria tacos which were good, the meat was tender and the tortillas were fresh. The sauce served with it was packed with flavor. My only preference would be for more of the sauce to be implemented in the frying of the taco for those crispy edges 😋 Wife had Quesadillas, she loved them. The happy hour house margarita on the rocks was loaded with so much ice you could hardly stir the drink. However the bartender can make a pretty good Top Shelf margarita. The food was good and the service was good, I'll definitely be back. Update: Cheese enchiladas are great too. Update: Good Portabella Steak Update, Beef is good

Good atmosphere, good service and great Birria Tacos! We got the queso with fajita meat. The queso/meat was amazing. Only thing that would make it better would be different chips. We just had the chips from the salsa they give you. Would have been phenomenal with the tortilla chips that come with the beans. The Birria Tacos…that meat!!! Amazing. Not to sold on the soft shell taco. The consume was decent. But the meat was insane!!! Kids got tacos and they are HUGE. We will be back.

This place has a great atmosphere and the staff are very sweet. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. The chicken flautas were great, and my boyfriend loved his beef fajita nachos. The ceviche was just ok. I will definitely be back to try the birria! Edited 5/7/23 to add: the birria is delicious! 100% recommend!

I found this place looking for Mexican restaurants, and was really blown away by the food. I thought it had a very good mix of Mexican and tex mex food. The salsas were so good! I really recommend this place if you are interested in getting some fantastic Mexican food!

Okay Conroe, y’all have been hiding this restaurant! I just took my family to La Pizca and we are blown away with how good it was! As soon as we walked in I had a feeling it was going to be good. The decor and atmosphere are very nice and welcoming. You can tell someone really cared with the look of everything from the tables to the bar and to the lighting. We all ordered something different as well as an appetizer. I had the Pollo en Mole, my wife had the Ranchero Chicken and my some had the Chicken Quesadilla. My youngest tried the kid’s chicken quesadilla. For the appetizer we ordered the Shrimp Empanadas. Everything was delicious! It is clear that everything was freshly made and with quality ingredients. Thank you La Pizca for a great lunch experience. We will definitely be coming back!!

Absolutely love this new authentic Mexican restaurant! I had the kiwi margarita and it was delicious, strong, and you can taste the fresh chunks of kiwi in it. Also had the Jamaica Margarita, loved it. Tried the aguachiles and they were so delicious and spicy. For my entree I had the Steak Oaxaca. The Mole sauce was so delicious, you could taste a hint of chocolate but it was more savory than sweet with the spices and meat. The steak was tender and delicious and the fried plantains were perfect! For dessert tried the tres leches and Chipotle chocolate cake which were both so yummy. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was top notch. Far better than the run of the mill tex-mex joints in Conroe. Id say its part traditional mexican, part tex-mex. We had the shrimp emanadas(different but good), pozole verde (authentic!), enchiladas al carbon, beef tacos al carbon, and some top shelf ritas. (Super good) Rice was great, refied beans were good but average. Everything was very good, I was impressed. Bartender was our waiter and he was well versed in the menu and answered all our questions. Definately our new spot for mexican in Conroe. An appetizer, 3 entrees, and 3 top shelf ritas was just under $100.

The Pollo en Mole was juicy with a combination of flavors. It had pickled red onions and cotija cheese on top. It rested on a bed of sweet and spicy mole. The inside is decorated very upscale. You can’t tell that this has been a BBQ joint for 30 years. I highly recommend for Mexican food! Come check it out.

Okay Conroe, y’all have been hiding this restaurant! I just took my family to La Pizca and we are blown away with how good it was! As soon as we walked in I had a feeling it was going to be good. The decor and atmosphere are very nice and welcoming. You can tell someone really cared with the look of everything from the tables to the bar and to the lighting. I took a wrong turn in Conroe and found this amazing place. At first glance, as we entered, I thought maybe they were getting ready to close. But, the waiter came to greet us and the fun began!! The service, the food were more amazing than expected! So, from the "pinche white girl" yall have to try this place in Conroe!!

This place can be easily over looked and missed because of the location, but the food is amazing. The best fajitas and margaritas in Conroe. They deliver Tex Mex while demonstrating their authentic Mexican roots. While they deliver on the food and margaritas, things can move slowly. I don’t mind because I appreciate the quality. Just be warned about that.

We tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and I am so glad we did. They had 50% off fajitas, what!?! We ordered 1 pound of mixed beef and chicken fajitas and an order of chili relleno. All was so delicious!! The tortillas are homemade too and so good. Ricardo took good care of us. We will definitely be back!!

I still like come here ,but been a little disappointed lately drinks are great, but just last nite l ask for a top shelf margarita frozen and it was giving to me on the rocks and it was horrible, the 2 picture I post is the one I had a few months ago and last nite, then receipt didn't reflect what was taking out my bank, don't know now if I'll be going back

This place has AWESOME fajitas. They are 50% off in Jan 2026 so get them while they are a reasonable price. When the sale is over they are expensive.

The atmosphere was nice, and service was great, Margaritas were a 10/10. The food however leaves a little to be desired. We got queso which was good I ordered the Chili Relleno shown in the picture the flavor was perfect as was the coating, the chili was just a little too undercooked for my liking. The charros beans had an ok flavor but the bean was still a little al dente, as for the rice it really didn't have much flavor. My husband had the steak and shrimp which was very good, but he too had the same thoughts on the rice and beans. Over all we will try again atleast for margaritas and queso

Service was very fast and attentive, the atmosphere was very nice and cozy, and the food was amazing. I recommended the birria tacos 100%. Edit: some hours later I felt sick after eating the enchiladas. I would still go back and give them a second try, their tacos were amazing enough to make me want to go back, and I went during their opening days so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Our delivery driver called after leaving the store to inform us the food spilled everywhere and they asked the store to resolve it but they responded “there’s nothing we can do about that” I tried call the restaurant 3 times, they hung up on me twice and ignored my call the third time.
