Good chain diner. Had breakfast there. A little more atmospheric than a "big box" place. Food was good. Service was very good. Prices were a little on the high side though. Recommend

What a great meal! Alice our server was totally awesome! Best meal we have had dinning out in the last year and best prices to. They have the best buttermilk biscuits ever. I had chicken breast dinner so tender and juicy . Hubby had pot roast also delicious! Nice appetizer salad large. Food was hot and fresh. We eat out alot and it isn't cheap either. We have had horrible service and food. Restaurant very clean and friendly. Hats iff to the whole staff! This is my favorite restaurant now and will return often. Thanks Bob Evans for caring for your customers and your food presentation. Thanks Alice for the great and friendly service !!

I have been eating here for years, the food is consistent and pretty flavorful for a chain restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasent and the waitstaff has always treated us well. My only real complaint is that I have received a few meals recently that have come out a bit luke warm or in some cases a bit too cold for my personal preference. The food was cooked thoroughly and was brought out quickly, so I am not sure if it had been left waiting too long to be served or if they missgauged the time it takes to prepare each meal at our table and do not use heat lamps to maintain the others while finishing the other dishes. Either way this is not the norm for them so I don't feel right knocking the overall score a star. Overal it's a great place to eat with the family that still holds a nestalgic charm that we don't see much anymore.

I have never before had biscuits this delicious! I ordered biscuits and gravy and could have eaten the soft, crumbly, buttery biscuits alone and been perfectly happy! The service was very quick and our waitress was attentive and checked in often. The restaurant was clean and not too busy on a Tuesday morning.

The server Allí was very kind, my sister and I have had her two times and she has been amazing. Very attentive, it made the whole experience wonderful.

There was an issue with ordering online and my order went from delivery to pick-up. The general manager took the call immediately and corrected the situation for us. We were traveling and stopped here for a late dinner (though all ate breakfast). Everything was wonderful, and exactly as we hoped for! Pam was our server, and she was a breath of fresh air on a long trip. A bright smile, impeccable service, and a warm soul was just what we needed to finish our journey. we stopped here on our travels back to Canada from Virginia and the food was so good! freshly baked biscuits were AMAZING, and the servers were all very friendly and the portions were so big that not one of us finished our entire meal (myself, my husband and my 3 year old). great amount of food for a good value. we were pleasantly surprised with how fresh and delicious the food was for a chain restaurant. we will definitely eat at Bob Evan’s again based on this experience. Thank you to Teresa for ensuring everything was great! she was so welcoming that we even said we felt like we were at my aunts house :)

Stopped in today around 11:00 greater with a smile and got a seat right away. We were able to order lunch or breakfast and our party of 4 was split, 2 breakfast and 2 lunch. Our waitress was wonderful! Food came out quick and all was delicious and hot. I got the turkey and dressing - highly recommend!

From the moment my family and I walked through the door, it felt like we were at a family feast with loads of friendly, happy people, great food, and authentic hospitality that made it feel like a nostalgic Thanksgiving dinner. We needed a neutral place to have Thanksgiving Dinner with my brother, and we couldn't have asked for more! "Happy Thanksgiving" filled the air as the smell of Thanksgiving dinner wafted throughout. Bob Evans knows Thanksgiving and delivers it in a big way! The full spread Thanksgiving platter or the hardy breakfast menu offered all day is sure to have something for everyone in your family to gobble up. Don't be a turkey - go to Bob Evans for your next family feast! The food was great Thanksgiving comfort food, the vibe was Thanksgiving Dinner through and through, and the value was out of this world! So, I suggest that if the whole family shows up unexpectedly or if you expect them, you take them to Bob Evans, where you can enjoy a great family dinner while spending quality time with the ones you love. The service was like none other, no wait, even though the place was packed, food came quickly, and the drinks stayed full. Based on my experience, no matter how busy this place is, you are treated as if you're the only one there. Enough said, stop agonizing over where to go get dinner, the Bob Evans in Painted Post/Corning North Side is the obvious choice.

I am so grateful and amazed at the staff and especially the GM, Teresa, at the Bob Evans restaurant in Corning, NY! They made a horrible situation and turned it into a special memory. My 91 year old mother-in-law was alone and not feeling well on Thanksgiving. We live in Texas and wanted to send her a Thanksgiving meal the day after, so we ordered the Premium Celebration Feast and a slice of pecan pie to be delivered by Uber Eats. It was well priced even with delivery and we were happy to be surprising her with a meal. Unfortunately, the delivery driver made our gift into a nightmare for my mil when he was rude, unaccommodating and unhelpful.... He yelled at a truly sweet, Christian woman who would never hurt or offend anyone, even cursing at her and NOT completing the delivery. She called my husband confused and on the verge of tears. I reached out to the restaurant and the staff member who answered the phone was kind and empathetic, offering to get assistance from the General Manager, Teresa, who saved the day. She contacted a different delivery driver (DoorDash) that she knew would do a great job and remade the order, had it delivered, and wouldn't allow me to pay for it. She just took care of my mother-in-law and our aching hearts after a sad situation. I think she even snuck her a second piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream too! She told me of her fondness for older people and we bonded over our love and respect for them. I'll never forget Teresa, who took the time on a super busy holiday weekend to make sure a very special person received a delicious, hot meal. I'm a lifetime Bob Evans fan, for sure!!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️

The food was flavorful, and the portions were perfect. The waitress Pamela was amazing. I would not go back to this location, unfortunately, because it is too far away. A nice atmosphere for a Sunday morning or anytime you need a nice breakfast/lunch. The food mostly comes out great but sometimes can be average. The service and staff is usually great unless it gets really busy. It sometimes is slow to get orders going and drink refills but usually isn't too much of a bother. It's always a nice reliable experience for good food and talking with family and friends. I highly recommend their crepes if they're in stock!

Ate with a group of four one of which showed up late. Waitress was extremely kind and accommodating to our requests and served us promptly and treated us as a priority. My breakfast was excellent and I heard no complaining at the table. My eggs were perfect, as well as my experience. The only reason I didn't give 5 is because I have both dined in and gotten take out from this location. When I got takeout an item was forgotten, and the food wasn't great, when I went back for missing items after I'd gotten home, I wasn't accommodated by an "our bad" biscuits or anything of the sort. I understand if this could come across as entitled, but in my experience in the service it's not uncommon to offer a cheap accessible food item as apology. Either way this is a minor gripe on an understandable mistake. Keep up the excellent work!

We were traveling home from a week of tent camping and were happy to find a spot for a late breakfast. It was slightly busy,but it seemed like our server wasn't in much of a hurry,which was ok,neither were we!! I honestly felt bad for the older gentlemen next to us who waited quite a while to be greeted. Our food was delicious, no mistakes! I built my own omlette,as I have a gluten allergy,others got a variety of things which we all shared!! Only food complaints would be the smaller portions than I remember. I’ll preface this review with stating that this bob Evans is EXTREMELY hit or miss depending on the time, day, etc. This particular visit the food was great, the service was good. They appeared to be insufficiently staffed. Our waiter was so kind, and even though he had some complications with another tables order, he stayed in good spirits.

The pot roast dropped in quality (a lot of things at a lot of places has). The Breakfast is usually good. They still have my favorite pancakes (in the area, at least). I have also ordered the holiday to go meals and they are decent.

This was the second time I've been here, and the food is exactly what you'd expect at a chain comfort food restaurant. The benches were wet when we sat down, so at least we knew things were being wiped off. My menu had food crusted on the folds. But, the server was friendly, and the food was good.

My son's steak was cooked amazingly well, according to him...too rate for me! 😄 Cinna biscuits were only $2.00. They had way too much sugar mixture on them. And way too little icing for that amount of cinna biscuits. Hubby did not care for the green beans (I LOVED THEM). so, yes, overall, wonderful.

Can't go wrong with a simple salad. We also had a soup and grilled cheese sandwich that was OK. My daughter's burger on the other hand was a hockey puck. We had to return that and the manager was kind enough to comp. it immediately with an apology. The chef must have had a bad day but the wait staff made it right.

We had a very good experience here. It was a Sunday morning, and it was packed. We got in and out in less than an hour. All the waitresses were nice and friendly and helped us with any questions we had. Food came quickly as well. The only issue I had was i couldn't tell if my pancakes were done all the way as they felt cakey in the middle, but I imagine the blueberrys had something to do with it. The homefries had no seasoning as well. The bananas were super fresh. Overall, we would come again.

We were here for dinner on a week day. There were not many people there at the time, around 4:30. We were seated within a few , our order taken. I ordered the chicken fingers and they were old, extremely dry, also well overcooked. I took 3 bites and didn't even want to take them home. Waitress deducted $6.00 off the bill BUTwe went because ALL WE WANTED WAS A HOT MEAL. I left still hungry. Not good.

It's been a few years since I last dined at Bob Evans in Corning. I went for breakfast, taking a friend who had never eaten there. We were promptly seated, and our waitress arrived soon after. It seemed like it took a little longer than is typical to deliver our 2 coffees (maybe she was waiting for a fresh pot to finish brewing?). It took a few minutes for my friend to decide, and the waitress was attentive - checking back til we were ready. After ordering, we had 2 coffee refills before our order came out. I recall now that the kitchen has been historically slow here, but today it seemed legendary! A couple seated after our order was taken, received their lunch before our steak and eggs were delivered. The steak was thin, ordered Medium, and was of course dry. I ordered hash browns and was disappointed by the meager portion of potatoes... it would have been better if they had just forgotten to give me spuds!! The atmosphere was pleasant, as lunch rush was just beginning. At check out, there never seems to be a cashier ready and waiting... so waited 3 or 4 minutes. The cashier area is small and crowded and cluttered. I never saw a manager roaming the floor, or interacting w customers. Overall experience was "Meh" 😑

We had an awful experience. We drove for 9 hours to NY and just wanted to walk out of the hotel and eat. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks! One hour and twenty minutes for our food. One single ant visited the middle of our table. The blinds beside us were filthy. I get they are the blinds, but people eat here, folks. Do better. The food was not amazing nor awful.

The food is always amazing. I've never had a less than excellent meal. However, there were obvious issues between staff when we dined there. While they all tried to keep it amongst themselves, it proved impossible. As a result, the atmosphere was filled with anxiety that you could almost feel. Whatever was going on was "felt" through body language and hushed whispers throughout the restaurant. My husband and I were having a terrible day and dealing with our own stress; which was why we decided on a "dinner date". We were unable to eat and left most of our food. Hearing dramatics and workplace turmoil amongst staff as we waited for seats, while we walked through, and all through our meal is the last thing I wanted to deal with while trying to eat. The dining area and front of the restaurant are not the place to air workplace issues. Perhaps in-house training is needed? Spending $60+ to sit and listen to Bob Evans employee issues was NOT my idea of an enjoyable dining experience.

When we first came in the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by everyone. The staff were very welcoming and nice. The restaurant itself smelled like something was spoiled in there. The bathrooms were HORRIBLE. Both Mens and Womens restroom had NO SOAP, the area wasnt clean, and the toilet looked like it has been through the last 7 wars this country was involved in!! I have mixed reviews about the food. The coffee was fresh and AWESOME. The eggs and potatoes were good! My pancakes and the fruit compote were DISGUSTING!! The strawberry compote tasted like cough medicine and the strawberries were soggy along with my pancakes. My turkey sausage unfortunately tasted like cardboard. Do better people! Clean bathrooms with SOAP, a clean restaurant front and back, and fresh fruit should be standard for every Bob Evans!!!!! Ive been to several Bob Evans across the country and even buy the sausage in stores, and I NEVER encountered that experience.. Again A+ on service and friendliness.

Ordered dinner for my coworkers and myself. The farmhouse chicken sandwich was suppose to have no onions or pickles. They did not have onions or pickles on it, but they also did not put the tomato, provolone cheese or bacon on it. They did put a piece of blackish lettuce on it though. I was not impressed by it. I also ordered coleslaw with the chicken sandwich. I had pieces of shredded cheese and 3 pieces of corn in it. Glad I'm not allergic to those items. The waitress was so slow! We ordered our drinks , soup and the entrees. She finally came back half an hour later with the soup (barely warm) and the entrees at same time!! By the time we ate the soup the rest of the meal was cold. She never did come back and check refills or anything else. Soup should have been served first!

The food quality has gone down hill significantly the past 6 months or so. Used to come here at least twice a month for dine in or take out but have had issues every time lately. The first issue was a take-out order with only 4 meals and 1 wasn't included. I called and spoke to the manager and he said they would mail a gift card for the amount - it never arrived. The latest issue we dined in and besides our order getting mixed up with another table, one meal had a hair in it and another had a piece of paper from the food prep in it. The manager did their best to rectify our latest experience, but we won't be back.

The food was good but the service was horrible. Our waitress forgot our sides and rolls. She never asked us how the food was because she barely ever came over. We got the bill before we got asked for dessert like we were being rushed out.

Food was good but all four of us had luke-warm food. The two people who came in after us, seated across from us, got there food way before us and were leaving as we got ours. We all ordered water for drinks, as we had so much coffee before even going to the restaurant, so the servers didn't even come to refill our water or update us on what was taking so long with the food.

The worst experience weve had here. We were seated for about 10 minutes before anyone even asked for our drink order which she then took our food order too. We ordered the adult food then asked if the kids mac n cheese was the homestyle or kraft, she said kraft. Food came out, my meal was wrong -wrong eggs, wrong bacon, no topping on the pancakes, and my daughter wouldnt touch her homestyle mac n cheese at all. Heard her tell the guy behind us she was making salads and forgot to come check on him. Then waited another 10 minutes for her to even stop by to bring the check. Overall entirely too long spent there and maybe if Jane wasnt cramming all her orders on one piece of paper in tiny writting she wouldn't have messed ours up.

It is our usual spot for breakfast or dinner. Or it was until this night. Ordered fried chicken and it was very overcooked and chewy. It was absolutely disgusting. Now other than dissapointing food, service was even worse. Waited 10 minutes for the server to take our order, after getting our food, we had to wait another 10 minutes for the server to get our drink refill. Even so, server forgot about it. Server was never to be found, was basically never around us, spent most of the time in kitchen socializing instead of working. Used to love this spot until tonight. Night ruined basically.

Took 25 minutes to get served drinks. Then another 30 minutes for cold food to be served. Eggs were broken and over cooked had to send back , another 15 minutes! $35. Meal for 2 people. Service was less than. Our third time in Corning @Bob Evans. Lesson learned!

Food was eh, expensive for the quality. Found a short dark curly hair in my wife’s breakfast 🤮. I brought it up to the staff and they did not care. Will not be coming back to another Bob Evan’s.

Very aggravating experience. Waited 10-12 minutes for a drink. Once food was served, it was cold. Biscuit hard as a rock. Bacon burnt. Not a good experience, especially for $58 for the 4 of us. I’ll go through the McDonald’s drive through next time.

My significant other and their family were there. The entire family said the food was absolutely delicious, the server was kind and for the most part the atmosphere was fantastic. The problem was the absolute disrespect shown to the employees by the absolute tyrant of a manager was absolutely degrading and illegal. A person in a management position should never speak to their employees in such an illegal and blatantly disrespectful manner. My family and I will never go there again. I will not recommend this establishment anymore. This is very troubling that this behavior is permitted by a leader in a "family friendly" establishment. Please fix this issue. Despite this incident, I do enjoy the food and the atmosphere but I can not condone the disrespectful actions by someone in a leader position. I pray that the individual is properly reprimanded and appropriate disciplinary actions are taken.

Walked in food all over tables and floor, service was terrible never refilled our drinks didn't even bring us our bill, didn't get all of our order think they still making rolls. Couldn't order what we wanted because they waitress leave us a laundry list of things they didn't have in stock. Will Definitely not return.

Sausage was so undercooked it wasn't edible. Pancakes were dry and burned. What they describe as multigrain pancakes are essentially regular pancakes with oatmeal sprinkled on top. They were discussing, dry, and overcooked. Very disappointing. None of us could gag down our meals.

The bacon was good. But the rest was very lacking. I was sincerely shocked to see that the breakfast sandwich doesn't even come with a full slice of cheese! The waitress we had was not very pleasant. She walked by our table 4 times, filling everyone else's coffee but ours. I finally had to ask.

I told the waytrist my kids could have any snack. But no! They had to have the stuff on the kids menu because they had kid food when my youngest (8) had adult food so he got adult snacks. When the other two is ten and eleven but ok never coming back!!!

Smelled funny in there, service wasn’t the worst; but it’s a Tuesday lunch at 10 in the morning and it’s dead, didnt pre bud as much as they could’ve. To top it off we found a spider in our butter!!! Told service they went omg and took it, showed the other servers they yelled oh no, was gone for a little so we were thinking they were showing a manager and getting a discount for the inconvenience. Nope, came back, no apologies no manager just our bill, We paid in full, left 15% tip and was extremely disappointed . Food was mediocre, paid a lot for nothing, 3 upcharge for onion rings to only get 6? Do better.

I will not recommend them and will not order from them again.
