Tip: Try the homemade ranch dressing and be prepared for potentially slow service, especially when they are understaffed. The Tuna Nachos are highly recommended.

Avis sur Eighteen18 Bar & Restaurant Corpus Christi
The service was a little bit slow but very friendly. They had 2 bartenders/servers at the time we went in. The food was absolutely on point! Really good BLTA, Mahi tacos, and cajun chicken pasta. I was impressed.
In for dinner at my hotel on a Wednesday. Nice and cool and clean inside. Hot and humid outside as it is right on the beach. I seated myself and received a menu within a few minutes. They had live music tonight, a singer with a guitar. He was pretty good but if you want a quiet dinner you may want to pick a different night. I personally enjoyed the music. There is a beach sidewalk with very nice clean groomed sand leading to Corpus Christi Bay! Excellent view of the water and the USS Lexington aircraft carrier. It is now a museum and worth a visit but that's another review. I ordered the mahi mahi grilled. It came with steamed vegetables and rice. I have to say I was surprised by how good my meal was! The mahi mahi tasted very fresh and paired well with the sauce poured over it. I will definitely have to eat here again soon.
It was a perfect spot for lunch before visiting the USS Lexington. You have to try their homemade ranch dressing (amazing).
Such a great atmosphere to have an after work cocktail and an appetizer with some friends or coworkers. The view of the Corpus Christi Bay and the USS Lexington just sets the ambiance for a relaxing evening. The Tuna Nachos were outstanding and are highly recommended. There is a good balance of food choices for everyone from pastas, chickens sandwiches, to salads. Definitely a great spot, I’ll be coming back regularly.
Food was delicious! We ordered burgers and wings and they did not disappoint. The service was a little slow but worth the wait.
Business stay at the double tree turned into a 5 star stay. Joey did an exceptional job bartending; on the second visit he knew the beer I had before and had it ready. I asked Joey for a drink, he made a cocktail from my preference to perfection. I asked for a special off menu request and he made it happen.

Reggie the cook is amazing. Like honestly, I was thinking ‘well, captive audience of folks staying at the hotel’ but man … the kids grilled cheese, the marinara sauce, Alfredo, even the fries were cooked to perfection. Simply put, this place is one that we will come eat at even if we aren’t staying here. Also shout out to Joe the bartender and waiter that was more timely than the usual Darden spots. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Oh and you get a harbor view and the Lady Lex to boot!
I usually don’t care for hotel restaurants but since this got good reviews we gave it a try and I was so impressed! The food was great and the service could not have been better. Legit like service the level of a 5star restaurant. We liked it so much at breakfast that we came back for lunch and had a new server who was even more nice and accommodating. I was seriously blown away. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the kids menu was so good. We ate with 3 kids and it was perfect! I only wish they were open for longer hours
Me and my band stopped here to grab a bite to eat before a show we had in corpus christi… we couldn’t have been more satisfied! everything that we had was absolutely delicious and great quality to even the quality of the customer service! our server dylan was phenomenal and the kindest guy! we will definitely be going back… my player HIGHEY recommends the chicken alfredo. i got the BLT which is pretty simple, the the guacamole inside was AMAZING! thanks for hosting us!
My fiancé and I were staying at the Doubletree that is attached to this restaurant. We ate here for breakfast and the food was very good! The potatoes were very well seasoned and the fruit tasted fresh! The service was a little slow, but they only had 2 servers and 1 bartender at the time. We were in no rush, so it didn’t bother us.

The food is great, I recommend the pork tacos for breakfast! The wings are fries were also good as an appetizer or meal. The Porterhouse steak was good but not very flavorful
Restaurant in the lobby of the double tree, full fills its purpose. When I arrived late (9pm) closest and only Restaurant open past 9pm. Great wings, good buffalo sauce. Cheese wedges were not cooked enough, and fries were soggy. I'm blaming the late order, bartender didn't get my order until 945pm.. 15mins before kitchen "closed". Still good.

It did its job. But I have had better. The chef was on break and had someone covering for him. He needs to learn how to make a Chef Salad. Because we had to send it back to add egg and the meat. And still came back without cheese. Just ridiculous.
This review is only for dinner. We arrived around 6-6:05pm and it seems me me a bit under staff during weekend dinner time. It was quick when we could get our order and drinks, but it took about 40-50 mins before our dinner was served. The shrimp was $22 and tasted okay but the rice was hard like leftover-bit overpriced to me. Chicken was $18 and it came with good portion. Music was mixed with tape and live and doesn't really add up anything. Overall I would not recommend unless you have daily credit to use.

We stayed at the hotel where this restaurant is in and the first night the service was great and it was almost 10p.m. Now, today is a different story. The service was lousy she was busy but not busy enough to check back after our appetizer to take our order. She was too busy talking to another table and they gave her help but both of them were slow to do anything. When she finally came to take our order we changed our minds and just finished the appetizer. Then sent the other girl to us 20 min later and we just asked for the bill. I will mot come here ever again.

I'm ONLY giving it 2 stars cause my wife's plate and my kids were good. The lady taking orders and bartending was awesome she made me and my wife 2 drinks and we loved them. Until we got the food. First, it was the ceviche it was hot to the touch, like it's been sitting outside the fridge for some good time it wasn't even close to fresh. Now if you let "raw seafood " get hot it'll grow bacteria quick. Never in my 29yrs have igotten served a hot ceviche ANYWHERE. Decided to leave it and not eat it. Then igot a Mahi Mahi plate, everything looked awesome iwas excited for my plate and as soon as itook a bite it was bitter, and sour. Thought it was cause it was the Lemon Dill Mahi Mahi sauce. But I left it alone and decided to just ask for the check. Got a strong stomach ache, and starting feeling nauseas so ifinally told the waiter and manager about it. The manager must've thought iwas trying to fool them and escape a bill but itold him "idont care about the bill I'll pay for it but ijust want you to know" he decided to try the sauce and just told me with a serious face that they're removing the ceviche appetizer and the Lemon Dill Mahi Mahi. Bad experience in this restaurant for the first time. Bill went from 130 down to 90. Still got a stomach ache as I'm typing this review

Staff- overall good Quality- Food was hot and fresh over the course of a few meals Our food was delivered to another table and then delivered to us without remaking it. The staff was overall great, but there needs to be some more organization in the kitchen. Our food took about 15 minutes ( not a problem) was delivered to the table next to us. The couple ate off the plate. Burger and fries. They also ordered a burger and fries. You could see when the team realized a mistake had been made. The correct food went to their table and Our food went back to the kitchen. It was delivered to us about 3 -5 minutes later. We mentioned it to the server and the manager and she assured me that the food had been remade. (This is unlikely since the original food took 15 minutes.) Basic food safety- Once food has been returned for whatever reason. Customer error or server error. Please discard that food. Please do not wait to see if the customer happens to notice. I did.

Whilst being inticed by the splendour and the grandeur of a false reputation, we chose this establishment to land on our first night in Corpus Christi, TX. Only to experience the expired produce meets the customers before the garbage. This lettuce in the Ceaser salad was so far past expiry that it wasn’t worthy to be deemed compost. While the lettuce was an attraction for fruit flies, none would brave a landing on it due to its condition. After consuming what few scraps of lettuce showed signs of life, we were finally acknowledged by the bartender who asked us if we were done already. This was our chance to plead our case and we did to no avail. She stated that since we muscled through and ate what we could we were past the threshold of mercy and would not be getting a full refund. Now I have never had the pleasure to wait on and serve my valued community through the common necessity of food sustenance, I’ll give some advice for what to do when something like this happens. You make it right. If you can’t produce a good product or create a good experience, there is no value to be exchanged. I would accept an apology and a full refund which would be great. We did have our Bahama Mama refunded which leads me to believe that they realized something was terribly wrong. However, I’m still paying for two ‘salads’.

Came here last night and the service was amazing. Came back tonight and the service was the worst I have seen. Waited over 10 minutes to be greeted. Got our drinks and then waited over 15 minutes to order an appetizer. Appetizer came out and server didn't come back for over 30 minutes to take our order. We said we were done and didn't want to order at this point. Asked for the check and it took another 15 minutes to get cashed out. Wasn't busy when we arrived. MY wife talked to a manger at the front desk who apologized but did nothing more. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
Worse experience ever! Joe didn't want to brew any tea for us. He said, "I guess I'll have to make some." I guess we were totally being needy for asking for something to drink. Also, it was an inconvenience to get yellow sweetener. He went to another table to bring me 2 packets. I guess Joe felt rationing was in order. I intended to have more than one glass. He asked if we wanted to eat? We had to wait for him to bring menus for about 10 minutes. If I had known I was going to inconvenience him so much, I would have never bothered to go there. After getting menues, we continued to wait -again. My mom had to wave him down to get his attention to let us order. We ordered and I asked for ice for my hot brewed tea. The bartender ended up bringing me a new glass of ice with tea. Joe nevered returned with tea. Again, we waited. Dinner arrived. We at, with empty glasses again. My mom finally got the bartender's attention to get us drinks. After Joe spent a extremely lengthy time at the pool area- there wasn't anyone at the pool other than Joe. My mom waved Joe down again so my darling friend could ask for desert. You could literally see the disdain on Joe's face at the mere thought of us ordering anything else. When we ordered, it was an instant "we don't have any of that." Then he followed "it's frozen." This was the point of no return for me- I asked Joe if he was having a horrible day. He smiled and laughed at me. I then proceeded to say, I'm serious because you are being a horrible waiter." he continued to laugh at me. I began to text the Hilton rewards number and then realized the absolute disrespect I was receiving from this man. Perhaps my gender or just face was annoying him. I have never experienced this level of disrespect from anyone in the service industry. Avoid Joe at all cost.

Not impressed with the service or some of the food. We had to wait 20 to 30 minutes for a menu on a slow night. Once we got our menu we ordered the Alfredo and smothered chicken. The Smother Chicken was to come with maple glaze carrots. It was room temp non cooked baby carrots with a splash of maybe sugar water? On the Alfredo it says it comes with garlic toast. We had to ask for it and 30 minutes after we got our food we got the toast. They even said they wouldn't charge us for the toast. It was listed with the meal. They did give us a complimentary desert due do to the wait.
