Omg.....get the quesobirria! It is amazing! Dip it in the soup that comes with it to make it even better! My husband and I each ordered 1 order of it not knowing it comes with 4 tacos. Its a lot of food and you could probably share.
This is our new favorite taqueria in Sonoma County! Victor's cooking is so tasty and he is so welcoming, his dishes are out of the ordinary, and his ingredients are fresh. We can't stay away!
I got Tortilla soup. It was super good. I really appreciate that tacos come with caramelized onions, green pepper,, radish and cucumber slices. Oh and a slice of lime or two. This may be my new got to spot.
Machetes, and the quesabirrias are phenomenal!! The agua de piña is also great! Good friendly staff. Excited to see their second restaurant open up in downtown SR in the next couple of months!!!
This one of the best mexican food restaurants in Sonoma County. Good quality in every salsa, torilla or meat. Try machetes de huitlacoche, tacos de chorizo or birria. If you are traveling is a good option because is close to freeway.
The best Queso birria tacos in Sonoma County by far. It’s a hole in the wall because it’s hidden. However, really really delicious.
Best place to stop and get foold. We are not friend Santa Rosa but whenever we have a chance we stop by and my family loves it. Very humble place makes you happy to eat there!
Their home made tortillas are the bomb. Great menu, high quality food for the price. Highly recommended. The staff is very plesant and accommodating.
First time I have try this location and it’s awesome, I do recommend this place specially tacos de birria and barbacoa 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Some of the absolute best Mexican food I’ve ever had, everything that our table of 5 had was home made!
Great food, fast service, a great stop on our way North!
One of the best Taquerias for vegetarian / vegan options. They have 4 or 5 different meat substitutes. Still heavy on the cheese on the menu, but plenty of different taco options and burritos that can be adapted. Free bean dip and chips and salsa. Good stuff, will definitely be returning.
I recently made a big order for a Mother's Day celebration to a group of employees. Food was excellent!! Everyone loved and enjoyed the food and was happy I chose this place. This is first time I order and also do a big order on this place. I was very pleased with the results. Employees were very friendly while I waited for my order. I am definetely choose this place again! Chorizo, chicken & carse asada taco bar was incredible. Thank you!
Just went here for the first time after reading the reviews and I think I have a new favorite. I got the QuesaBirria since someone had mentioned it in the reviews (and it sounded interested) and wow, what a dish. Nice to have something different than the usual tacos and burritos.
This place continues to impress me. I’ve had a few of the menu items and they haven’t disappointed. My favorite so far is the quesa birria (only available on weekends) but make sure to order the tacos extra crispy for them to hold up when dipped in the consommé. One of my local favorites.
As usual, my fish and chips were scrumptious; the cole slaw, I believe, IS ONE of the best c/slaws in Sonoma County. CAPE COD continues to be a great spot for 🎣 &chips. Oh yeah, don't forget the fried zucchini 😋
Legit spot with great flavor and service
Very tasty and authentic Mexican restaurant. Prices seem reasonable. Plenty of free parking. Nice folks. Mostly indoor seating, but a few tables outside. In a strip mall...but food is worth it.
they have a salsa bar with an array of flavors. the aguas frescas are delicious. they treat you with beans and chips while you wait for your food. great spot🙌
Absolutely delicious food with generous fillings tender meats and we love the elote! We come here often. Highly recommend!
very good tacos al pastor and the most delicious machete
Omg!!! Salsa is FIRE!! Esp the darker red one, makes your tacos pop with flavors!!!! My new favorite spot in RP!! YUUUMMMMYYYYY!!
This place rocks very small taqueria. They have only 9 tables, but the food so delicious.

Very clean our food was out fast and very good would come back
wonderful staff and food. go-to mexican takeout for me. 2$ taco's on tuesday also!
My young boys love the machete, which is like a cross between a taco and a quesadilla with all the fixings, meat, lettuce, cilantro, onions, cheese, cream and one is large enough to feed both of them. This is a small family owned restaurant and the mother is from Oaxaca and the food is delicious. I had a shrimp taco and carne asada taco and those were also delicious. Our family loves this place!
I just had a absolutely delicious lunch at El Sabor Oaxaca! I had their tacos with homemade corn tortillas! Be sure to give them a try! Nice family owned establishment.

Nice little place. Had the Birria tacos. Pretty tasty. Nice folks working there. Had mine to go but, they offer chips and salsa for those dining in.
I had the al pastor plate. I tasted curry which is odd for pastor. Don't get me wrong it was good, just different. The "salsa" umm well... It was also... Different... Not salsa... Still good. Oh the tortillas were some of the best I've ever had. I'm still not sure I was eating Mexican food. More middle eastern.
Food was okay, chicken tacos didn't have much flavor though. Interesting beans and good creamy sauce. Horchata is good, would try something else besides the chicken tacos next time.
Good food just make sure to double check your order the last two times i ordered out mine was wrong then today when i dined in my burrito came out wrong a 3rd time. Thw place is very very good though. Hence i keep coming.
Shopping center local may be true Mexican style food felt like I was sitting at tables down in Zihuatanejo. Nothing great nothing bad I'd go again
Went there for first time on a friend's recommendaction of the AL Pastor. I ordered a Super Burrito AL Pastor and got just a regular, no sour cream, pico or guacamole. Was a little disappointed with that. AL Pastor was pretty tasty as I was told, happy about that. I'll go back and try other things.
Sad to say but this place has the WORST al pastor meat I have ever had. Stay away from it. The gordita was good. A little on the greasy side but it was ok. The empanada was good too. It was a cheese empanada though, no meat.

We went on a Tuesday when tacos are $1 and they were short handed so the original ten minutes I was quoted on the phone proved false. It was probably more like 30 minutes or more. We were waiting with friends so it was nice to catch up. However take note that their outside seating consists of one table and two chairs so I highly recommend taking it to go. We had a car party and ate on our hoods. In the end, the al pastor tacos and carne asada tacos were delicious. My friend said she liked her side order of rice and beans too. We may go back to pick up an order.

My experience was the food looked amazing! But taste was a little dry. I've only been here once -so maybe it was an off day? If you're new I'd encourage you to try it out.
Idk whats been going on before the food was great but now that i order food is missing and they get the order completely wrong which i specify what i truly wantand sure sometimes everything looks good but then take a closer look and its not the meat I asked for
Tacos. Dry and salty. Meat is like jerky. Good thing it was cheap. The service was fast but nothing special. The TV was so loud you could not hear yourself think. The two guys in the back, having lunch had to yell at each other to be heard.
Awful i took the bag and got in my car, and the bag broke and lucky it didnt get on me.Took it back to the store to get a new bag and they tried to refuse saying i picked it up wrong. 2nd time i got the bag it broke again all over my jeans. Really bad experence ask them to double bag and put a plastic bag lr two on salsa if you get any -uber driver(customer is upset with you guys!)

Sad experience with the food. Torta was extremely dry and lacked flavor, with a ton of lettuce that tastes like it has not been washed. I had to Add seasoning of my own and a ton of salsa which only made it a little better. The meat overall is bland. We felt the same with the sope, it had an interesting flavor that I can not pinpoint and overall was not pleasing. +1 star for the salsa - all 3 were delicious with a variety of flavor and spice
There was no tortilla chips so no Nachos for my wife and kids. My Birria tacos are 50/50 fat. Food came 15 minutes apart so we no be ate together. The toilet in the bathroom is broken. I’ve eaten here at least 20 times before. This was a horrible experience. I don’t think we will be back.

Food was cold, when I told them about it they said to contact doordash how ever they package my order & put my cold soda on top of my food making it cold (not a doordash problem) i was at a hotel so i could not warm my food up, TERRIBLE customer service not to mention i paid $20 for a cheese quesadilla lol
The beans are salty and the cheese wasn’t even cooked the horchata tasted weird and the salsa was ok but so far I wouldn’t come and my brother didn’t get his food at all so he didn’t eat anything 1.5 I rate it
Nasty cheese sauce on the nachos, everything was soggy and gross. Paid extra for a Mexican Coke only to be given a can of soda for 3 dollars. Never again worst place
Took forever to bring out my order and then they took almost another 40 minutes to bring my sons order out to and all the food was cold . Then one of their salsas tasted and smelled 🤢 like it went bad.
Ordered by phone order; order was repeated back to me correctly . Ordered condiments on the side none were given. Ordered 30 tacos received 20. Ordered large side of rice was given small ordered medium beans given small. Order was picked up by my son who asked if condiments were in the bag(as last 2 times we ordered they weren’t) he was told yes. He noticed the rice was small so he ordered more. Unfortunately he took their word on the rest of the order. I called and was told they couldn’t process a refund and would have the owners call me in morning. I told her the rice and beans were wrong she said they only come in lrg and small no medium implying I ordered wrong but I ordered medium beans and it was repeated back to me with no correction. We live in Petaluma so it was not convenient to go back. Maybe they should reconsider taco Tuesday if they can’t get it right. This is 3rd time our order was wrong. 3 strikes we’re out. Hopefully the owner calls me and issues a refund if not I will post an update.
Only reason I have to one star it because was a nightmare here to eat here. 1 hour and 20 minutes I had to wait before I got anything only to give me an incomplete food order. First they gave me a food and then they gave me tortillas 15 later only to have them cold by the time they gave me the food I ordered. The meat of the bbq was cold and you could taste the grease of it cold. They also gave me with that a consomé(soup) that was cold (supposed to be hot). We asked 4 times when the gorditas (type of food) would arrive. They gave it at the very last because it is likely they forgot. We had to pay around $60 for bad service, food, and the “fresh” water they gave us. Also for only 3 people they took so long.

Prices here are pretty crazy for a hole in the wall place. 3 Tacos and rice and beans the server said would be $20. So unfortunately we left and went to another place. It's $4.50 for 1 taco, thats too expensive.
I never do this but the nachos came with the yellow semi-liquid cheese that comes out of a bag. Prices were higher than listed on the menu. The cucumbers and radishes that came with the tacos were really dry. There was a loud alarm/fan going off when I walked in and I really should have turned around right then.
