A superb "village restaurant" specializing in pizzas. They also serve other typical Italian daily specials. We were there as a group for two evenings and were impressed by the hospitality and very reasonable prices. It's no comparison to the restaurants on the shores of Lake Lugano. Here you'll experience a truly rustic Italian atmosphere, in a simple but pleasant restaurant culture.

Locale spartano, in ordine, cucina senza pretese, sostanzialmente buona, se avete il cane dovete lasciarlo fuori, evitando così, inutili discussioni, il cartello all' ingresso è chiaro! Prezzi adeguati al luogo ed alle pietanze. Personalmente trovo ottimo il tiramisù, veramente alla portata di grandi e piccini, se lo trovate, non è sempre disponibile... Sabato e domenica sera pizza anche da asporto.

Excellent family cuisine, extremely kind and attentive staff. We had lunch twice at midday with the daily menu, the food was well-cooked, and the wait was very short. A first and second course with side dishes, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup wine, and coffee for three people cost about €40. Typical "home-cooked" cuisine. The pizzas, only on weekend evenings, are excellent. Recommended. P.S. He told me the tripe is excellent; I'll let you know in the fall.

Business lunch on Thursday. We arrived at 12:30, the place was almost empty; we barely had time to sit down before the waiter was already taking our orders. The menu consisted of just four courses: two first courses and two second courses (with sides). We opted for roast beef with salad. It was very flavorful and tasty (no stale aftertaste that this dish sometimes has), despite being completely free of sauce (a plus, in my opinion). The salad was well-cleaned, a single variety (lettuce) and ready to be dressed. The baguette-style bread was fresh and fragrant. In the end, two portions of roast beef, two salads, two 0.5L bottles of water, and two coffees for about €20 (I'm writing "about" because I didn't pay and heard the price from afar). The service was a bit spartan, but I didn't mind. A good lunch, in my opinion.

First time tonight and I had pizza, which I thought was good. The desserts are also excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming and well-heated. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. For me, it's okay.

It's certainly not a trendy place, but its timeless appeal is perhaps what makes me appreciate it most. A wide selection of pizzas made in a classic style with good-quality ingredients. The menu isn't particularly extensive and a bit repetitive, but it's good quality, cooked "just like at home." Four-star value. Two first courses, two second courses with side dishes, a liter of mineral water, half a liter of house wine, two coffees, and a grappa for €48. I come here quite often because nothing has ever left me unsatisfied.

Sono andata a mangiare la pizza sotto consiglio di un amico. Sotto era cruda!! Era bianca, essendoci ancora la farina e se la odoravi sapeva di lievito. Per non parlare della porta del bagno che non si chiudeva nemmeno ed era trasparente. Posto bello, personale gentile, ma credo non ci andrò più.

Piatti casalinghi, buoni ma non eccezionali. La grigliata delude: mezzo wurstel, un pezzo di salsiccia e un mini petto di pollo con patate x 10€ sono davvero troppi. Prezzi eccessivi x qualità e locale, buonissimo il tortino di mele.

Volevamo due panini. Nonostante fossero aperti, in orario tranquillo prima di pranzo, non ci hanno neanche dato un pezzo di pane da portare via. La passeggiata l'abbiamo fatta a digiuno.

Avremmo voluto pranzare di ritorno da una passeggiata domenicale. Impossibile. Anche un piatto di affettati sarebbe bastato. Ma alle 13.45 con la scusa che i tavoli erano tutti occupati… siamo stati allontanati. Prima ed ultima volta che entro in questa Vecchia Locanda.

ho ordinato 3 pizze tutte e 3 non cotte, con un sacco di farina , davvero una cosa strabiliante era ancora molle non cotta. sconsigliato a parte per il proprietario molto cortese e gentile , però davvero per il fatto farina,mi sono anche sporcato tutto di farina davvero esagerata sono dovuto correre a buttare tutto in lavatrice.

Il proprietario che serve i clienti al tavolo è sempre scleratoeee e agitato rende il pranzo disgustoso uno va a gustare i cibi per avere momenti sereni invece lì c'è fretta e agitazione e cibi stracotti e insipidi come i tortellini peggio che la mensa aziendale. Prezzo 12 euro ma non vale! *
