I used to order from here when I worked in the area a couple years back...i liked the breakfast burritos. I passed by (walking) yesterday and notice a hand written sign in the window...saying something along the lines:: "WE DONT DISCRIMINATE WE SERVE ALL RACES. CREED, AGE, GENDERS ORIENTATIONS, GENDERS VACCINATED AND👉👉 UNVACCINATED" ...I had to make it a point and tell the gentleman who I think was the owner, how much I appreciate and respect his character ,COURAGE , and integrity both personally & professionally ! ...he stated "we might get in trouble.. but it's the right thing to do!" I gave him a dap, and this morning (the next day) I will go out my way to stop in and have one of their delicious breakfast burritos...and continue to support pray that God spare his & other "non compliant" busineses in LA/Cali from this current tyrannical overreacting of government !

I was passing by, stopped to have a bite, it was my first time in this place. At the entrance I saw a sign saying payment only in cash. I only had $5 in cash, so I asked to make a burger for $5. They made me a big burger, and also gave me a small portion of French fries, I was shocked by such kindness! I tried the burger and for the second time I did not regret going to this place! A very tasty cutlet, which they most likely make themselves, no special sauces, only mustard and ketchup, and very tasty fresh vegetables! And the potatoes are also excellent, crispy. The only negative for me was the dirty tables, crumbs, sauce. Maybe it was because it was the end of the working day, but it was a little unpleasant. But the quality of the food is great, I recommend it!

The inside is nothing to see, which usually means the food is good. There are also no restrooms but I always take my food to go so no bother here. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I have been wanting to go to Tommy's for a long time. I heard that I could get a REAL hamburger. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo with french fries and a drink for $8.79. The burger was large, fresh, tasted wonderful, and oh my gosh the bacon! It was THICK and CRISPY, cooked to perfection, sticking out of the burger begging me to eat it's Smoky salty crispness, so I did!! They use the entire piece of bacon, 3 or 4, I can't remember, I was too busy enjoying eating. I ordered everything on it: lettuce tomatoes pickles onions, everything very fresh; Nothing soggy. It was surprisingly good, crispy and fresh all the way to the last little bite . And let's not forget the MOUNTAIN of french fries that you get, which I have to say are now my favorite fries! I can't believe I ate every last one!! Obviously I am going back. I don't live in the area, but I am going to make a special trips for their breakfasts. Their pancakes are as big as a large plate! They have several different breakfast combos for prices that are shocking for the amount of food you get. They also have a large menu and I get the idea they must be famous for their chili because it's all over the menu. I heard people ordering the chili on different items. Some customers have been going to Tommy's for 15 and 20 years. I'm not only going to try the chili, but I want to try their fish and chip dinner combo, yuuum. I will let you know how how everything turns out, but in a shorter version.

Pastrami Chilli Cheese fries are out of this world. The place is a bit dingy but a great stop to grab a bite.

Workers are nice and very kind. Ordered pastrami chili cheese fries and pastrami sandwich, very tasty at a good price! Many options to try.

Exactly what you expect near venice beach: A little shadey, a little greasy, but exactly what you want after a long day. CASH only btw. If you have a sense of adventure (I personally welcome the obscure), come on down. Carry pepper spray or whatever you fancy. Reason being legitimately someone ran in, pocketed the tip jar and ran out, pretty sure a low key drug deal happened in the parking lot, but other than that the owners are the sweetest and the food is grand and very affordable. 👌

I don't believe they are affiliated with one another these small chains but from the same suppliers. Food is good and staff is friendly. Parking lot on side and rear of building. Also metered street parking. I had a burger combo and it was good I've gotten tired of the institutional tasting food from the big chains.(except Wendy's) A simple place to grab something to eat. A very friendly staff. The temperature of the chili should be HOT not luke warm. Recently late 2018-19 This place has bums that hang around begging. I've driven past a few times thinking about getting something to eat and see a bum near the entrance and just drive on. Personally I don't like smelling stale urine before I have my lunch...7/28/19 today I was about to stop by to grab some lunch but when I saw the lady bum sitting with her legs across the sidewalk I decided to go elsewhere. This isn't the first time I drove by without stopping for the same reason.

I got the pastrami combo. The texture was ok, but to salty. Clean and the cashier was very nice.

Everything was just ok, nothing to want to go back for. Had the cheese burger and fries. Cash only for payment and even though you could eat there they had a sign that they did not have any restrooms???

Average place diner, service from cashier was horrible. The cook seemed like he was having a great day. The fish n chips are fish sticks. May stop by for a quick breakfast sandwich.

The bun was flat and tasted like it was sitting under cardboard and the burger patty didn't help that much. Worst was the chili. It was like a paste on the bottom of the burger. You expect chili to be falling out right? It didn't. Looked like Taco Bell bean mash...

Thirdly, the ridiculous "cash only" stance. The food at Big Tomy's is not nearly good enough to make "cash only" demands. Finally, there was lettuce in my "chili" fries. Not a deal breaker since the food is already very, very below decent standards, I just wonder how lettuce got into fries at all.

Absolutely ridiculous in prices, and terrible customer service . Do not recommend their food and kitchen looks gross to charge $11 for a basic bacon egg and cheese .
