Came here after going to the outlet mall and this place was amazing! It was our first time and it did not disappoint. The staff were very attentive and helpful with the menu. So we ordered Christmas roll, tiger roll and skydiver roll! It’s was so good that we did not leave anything lol. This place is a must try. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice cozy place, our waiter was super sweet and attentive. Can’t wait to return, I ordered the gyozas, shrimp shumai, and tonkatsu ramen. The gyozas, and the ramen was amazing.

Really amazing sushi!! We felt the need to try something new and we were absolutely starving. This place did not disappoint. We ordered 2 sushi each to try and an appetizer and it was extremely amazing. The flavors and combos was just incredible. The menu offers several options and we truly did have a hard time choosing what to eat. The location and decoration was also just so calming and made the experience a complete success. Will be coming back for some more hopefully soon!

Yokohamaya is a Cypress hidden little gem. The food was excellent and the our server very attentive and friendly. My wife and I ordered an appetizer (tempura shrimp and veggies) and sushi rolls (shaggy dog and Big Daddy) . Our kiddos had Miso ramen and chicken nuggets with crinkle cut fries. We went for lunch which was nice because they had a happy hour discount (2:30-5:30). The atmosphere was nice and quiet, music lightly playing. I think the the foot traffic is light due to the time we went for lunch (~4:00pm). I hope you enjoy this review because I would love to see Yokohamaya succeed and stick around for the community to enjoy.

Wow, what a great place! This is not 4.6 stars for nothing. Maybe some of the best edamame, salad, and sushi I've ever had. It was fast too! You HAVE to go.

This is a frequent spot for me and my baby sis. The sushi here is so delicious! The staff already knows her order when she walks in and they always take such good care of us. A solid spot if you are in the area.

Yet another wonderful experience that we just happen upon. We were waiting to pick up my son from his date and the place we first stopped was cashless so we ended up here. I'm so glad we did. The decor is awesome, and the sushi is THICK. It's the most generous sashimi I've had in years hands down. Definitely gonna be stopping in more

This little place really surprised me! Did not expect such a high quality of service and food, especially at the very affordable prices. Since I went there with friends I was lucky enough to try several things, all of which were outstanding! From the freshly prepared sushi rolls, tasty noodles all the way down to the edamame. Everything was pure perfection. Presentation, quality and taste are all on point. My new favorite Japanese place. I’ll definitely return for many more meals. Special thanks to the owner, which really knows his stuff. *Favorite - Make sure you get the cucumber salad. Not very big or exciting, but the taste is amazing.

We hit up this spot on December 26 for dinner. We dug their ramen (even though the broth was kinda like Chinese noodle soup) and their Sashimi was super fresh. Service was quick and the vibe was chill for chatting over dinner.

Service is good. Fried rice combination has hard beef and chicken. We get the bill, and the tip suggestions based on after tax while it should be based on before tax. Because tax amount goes to government. Tip amount should be calculate on the amount of food and service. Talked to the waitress and she blamed the machine, and the machine would not let them change it. But if that is the case, she should let customer know. Cheat a few dollars will not make you rich.
