Flight was delayed (bummer), however, it allowed me the time to experience Cousins BBQ! (Win!) I ordered the brisket nachos and was nothing short of impressed. A lot of tasty ingredients and a good size portion for a "party of one". Service was pleasant and food was PROMPTLY prepared. There was great seating available and TVs to watch, even a bar that I didnt partake in. I've already told 3 coworkers this is a must stop if they have time. Finally, the side of hot sauce was a perfect heat as well!

Cousin’s B43 Omar manager I was pleasantly surprised by Cousin’s BBarbecue at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The food was flavorful, fresh, and packed with authentic Texas barbecue taste. The brisket was tender and smoky, the sides were well-seasoned, and everything tasted like it was made with care—not rushed airport food at all. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which made the experience even better, especially while traveling. Portions were generous, and the quality exceeded expectations for an airport restaurant. If you’re passing through DFW and want real barbecue instead of typical fast food, Cousin V Barbecue is absolutely worth the stop. I’d gladly come back again! 🔥🍖✈️

The gentleman that took my order was not only patient but he knew about the products and was able to answer my questions. I ordered German sausage, sliced brisket, collard greens, coleslaw, and it comes with a toast. I wasn't a fan of the greens, they were seasoned nicely but had a sweetness to them which I dont care for, but thats just me, they were also really soft. Im also not a fan of thin bbq sauce. The slaw was perfect to me. Brisket was TENDER! omg, perfection 👌 the sausage was also great!.

Who knew you could get decent BBQ in an airport! The staff was friendly and enthusiastic about their food, which tasted great. The meats: When I first saw the brisket I thought the smoke ring was fantastic and bark was good, but it looked a little dry. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was tender and, while not the juiciest brisket I’ve had, wasn’t bad for lean. The jalapeño cheddar links and pulled pork were both excellent. The sides: That mac n cheese… yum. The beans were good too. We need to talk about that banana pudding though. I’d arrange for another layover in DFW just to get more of that pudding! If anyone’s feeling generous, I’d love a recipe to replicate it at home. 😉

Ummmm. This is pretty darn tasty bbq. Promise. I am a Texan at heart but live full time in New Mexico. But I am here to tell ya that this was really good. Moist. Not fatty moist but the word juicy better describes. I had a sliced brisket sandwich with 2 side. Mac and Cheese and Collard Greens. Equally tasty! Greens aren’t everyone’s favorite it after all stint living in Tennessee I grew accustomed to their taste! My meal was delicious. For reals. I know it’s airport food but I was impressed. Did t take long after I ordered to get my meal. That in itself was great. Soooo do t count this airport food out! The BBQ hit the spot.

Great service and outstanding food. I had the Frito Pie and it was very tasty and hit the spot between flights

Zero complaints at Cousins BBQ. Brisket was flavorful and tender. The jalapeño sausage wasn’t too spicy. The street corn did have a little kick to it. And the mac & cheese was cheesy. Healthy portions for all. Highly recommend!

I’ve been stopping in at Cousin’s in DFW airport at B43 for years. This day I had a chopped brisket sandwich in toasted w/ cheesy corn and iced tea. The staff is always friendly, and I know most of the weekday morning crew now. They’re always friendly and working with smokes in their faces. JJ runs a great crew — especially with Daniel & Sarah and the others working with him.

I had an early morning flight and I was craving something delicious. They have these spots all throughout Fort Worth, but I never tried. I opted for some steak breakfast burritos with eggs. I was very impressed with how good they were. I definitely recommend trying this spot out. For an airport restaurant, it’s also not too pricey compared to other places.

Aye this place is good. Was here for a layover and I was hungry. It was super early in the morning, food smelled good and the music was flowing. Everyone was friendly and these tacos were the best breakfast tacos I’ve had. Brisket, potatoes, eggs and cheese oh and that salsa they give you bangs. If I’m ever at this airport again I will definitely be looking for this place. Check it out! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Really solid food. Portion size for the side was a bit small but overall happy with the quality. It is pricey but honestly not outrageous for an airport. If you avoid the drinks and sides you will get the best bang for your buck.

Very good for an airport bbq place. Cashiers were friendly and efficient. Food good... Brisket, Mac n cheese, greens and a beer. Texas toast not good.

I visited Cousins on my way through Dallas airport on a business trip. The staff was acceptably friendly but not very welcoming (really busy at the time I was there). I had the chicken breast salad, which was fairly good: the vegetables were fresh, and there was a good amount of diced chicken. The restaurant does have a sit-down area, and that was welcome after walking a long while to my gate, but the seats were stiff and a bit uncomfortable, and it’s in a noisy area; hard to relax. Overall, Cousins served its purpose for me, but it was a smidge above average.

Only had meat. Fatty Brisket: very juicy good flavor but of course very expensive because of airport location. Jalapeno Cheddar: same as above. I would recommend only getting a 1/2 of juicy brisket.

Had the chorizo and a brisket taco. The chorizo was good but extremely greasy, the brisket taco had good taste but damn was that ever some dry brisket. The service was fantastic though.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Cousin’s BBQ in Terminal B at DFW is a solid option, especially for airport food. The prices are a little high, but you do get a good amount of food and the overall quality is very good. I ordered the 2-meat plate with both chopped and sliced brisket, along with ranch beans and collard greens. Both sides were excellent and definitely stood out. The chopped brisket was solid, but the sliced brisket was a bit disappointing. I asked for it “wet,” yet it still came out pretty dry. They did include BBQ sauce, which helped, but it was very thin—more like a dressing than a traditional BBQ sauce. That said, I’d still come back. It’s better than most airport dining options and a decent stop if you’re craving BBQ while traveling.

Pretty decent BBQ for an airport! The Texan sweet corn side was better than the actual brisket, though.

“Great BBQ for an airport stop! Brisket was tender, sides were fresh, and service was quick and friendly. Perfect meal while waiting for my flight.”

Nice they have a separate breakfast menu in the mornings. I Had their biscuits and gravy this morning in DFW Terminal B while waiting for my flight. The biscuits were light and fluffy - great! Their sausage gravy was tasty, but a bit too oily vs creamy and FAR too salty. (I like salty and well seasoned, but this was on the verge of inedible) I added bacon, which was delicious and Smokey. Definitely overpriced for what it is - but it’s the airport constant which is unfortunate.

Had a brisket sandwich and fries. Good taste, although a bit salty. Fries were mostly nice and crunchy. Baked potato looked good, but did not have one. Bbq sauce had a good flavor. Drink refills on soda, Coke products. Will eat here again on another trip through DFW, Terminal B. At time of posting, the DFW map doesn’t show the location down by gates B41-49, past the Skylink, which is the location I went to.

If you are looking for authentic Texas bbq this is not it. The sliced brisket is too peppery, the baked beans are not sweet, the street corn is spicy, and the potato salad is a northern potato salad. Too expensive to not taste good, I will pass next time I am at Dallas Airport. The staff did attempt to correct by giving me sausage and that tasted okay. If you have time to leave the airport Dallas has some of the best bbq in America.

Rather disappointed in the temp and size of the tacos. I ate them there so they should've been nice and hot. They were luke warm at best. That's always disappointing to me because that's one reason I don't always travel with my own snacks because I like a hot meal. The tacos were pretty small but the cashier told me ahead of time. I've eaten a lot of tortillas in my life, mechanical and handmade, but these did not appear handmade in my opinion. Handmade has a look to it but these were super uniform.

If you’ve made it all the way to Texas, you probably don’t want to either start (or finish) your culinary journey at this place. Don’t get me wrong. It’s decent standard for being a fast food BBQ - but who wants fast food BBQ? Grab something else at the airport, and save your traditional Texas meals for the other side of the security checks. - Value for money? No - Worth a detour? No - Best for (occasion)? None - Would I go back? No

I got their Big Urban sandwich and a side of potato salad, along with a Shiner. The food was good but it wasn't worth the $30 I paid for. The sandwich was decent but far from extraordinary, and the "side" of potato salad I got wasn't a side, but a cup. And I mean that literally, I would bet money that the container I got the potato salad in was no bigger then a measuring cup used in baking. A cup of flour may have fit in there, but maybe not. All told, the food was decent but not worth $30. Even for an airport the price is ridiculous.

Food poisoning…..by the time I got to Abilene I threw up the food. The sweet tea was good. And please stop asking for TIPS. It’s not like your employees are serving up refills of sweet tea to our table. They are handing food to us over the counter that you pay them to prepare. It’s not our responsibility to supplement your employees paychecks. Service with a smile would be nice too. TAKE THE MANDATORY REQUEST FOR TIPS OFF YOUR SOFTWARE PLEASE Pretty please!!!!!
