We enjoyed dinner here. Ms. Kim was very kind and nice lady. Not to mention, the food was good. But I most liked about this place was they use a fan for each table that absorbs smoke. Therefore, we walked off without any bbq scent on our clothes. All staff were polite, we felt so welcomed. Will come back soon!

Don't be fooled by the exterior, Koryo is lovely inside. My Korean mother-in-law wanted to bring me here for my birthday. It's classic, delicious, authentic Korean food. Each table has a the traditional grill in the center for cooking your meat. The wait staff can do this for you, so if you've never eaten this way, no need to be intimidated! The shared sides that accompany the meat were abundant and delicious. This is a great place for date nights, families, or larger friend groups. There are private dining rooms for larger groups as well. Come hungry and leave more than satisfied.

Verified: they offer live eel! Don't let the exterior look judge your choice. Indoor dine-in is quite spacious and clean. Well-trained waiters. Fast served budae-jjigae but the taste is average. Eel is fantastic🥹. The price is matched and slightly higher than their service and food. But I do recommend😃. For tomahawk, see their market price.

Koryo is our favorite Korean Babecue restaurant in the DFW Metroplex. It’s definitely a bit on the pricy side, but when you experience it, you’ll know why they command a higher price. First of all, they use charcoal to cook their meets here instead of gas like in most other places. It makes a big difference in taste. Then the meats they serve are of the highest quality. All the cuts and even the panchan are so fresh! The service is second to none and they make sure all your drinks and banchan are topped off. Doesn’t get much better than Koryo!

I went with a large group of people, and we tried a bunch of different options. Everything was delicious. The staff took great care of us, and we all left completely stuffed. They also allowed us to bring in a birthday cake from outside, which was nice of them, as not every restaurant allows that. We all had a great time.

December 2024 Good Korean BBQ cooked with charcoal. We came here several times, but finally leaving a review. Attentive and personalize cooking from the wait staffs. Side dishes with great portion. Great ventilation thus no for on our clothes. Very classic deco thus great place to impress your date. Fabulous cut of meat and choices. My rating as 5 is very satisfied Taste 5/5 Temperature 5/5 Attentiveness and courteous 5/5 (very professional wait staffs) Cleanliness. 5/5. Will I return? Most likely Will I recommend? Yes.

No seasoning, very little flavor. 😢I wanted to like this place so bad. We were trying to go to Joa which is nearby and is the best Korean bbq I have ever had, but Joa is closed temporarily (hope it will reopen). My sister has never had Korean bbq and we came here because it had great reviews which is why I have to rate it so low. We got the Bekjae BBQ set. None of the meat had much flavor which does not do justice to Korean bbq which has always had the most amazing flavor every other place I’ve been. The pork belly and pork collar was too tough. Unfortunately, I think our server (who was super nice and attentive) over-cooked it)… it had very little flavor. The marinated beef short ribs were ok.. they at least had some flavor. The prime beef short ribs were pretty bland. TBH I would have walked away if I could. For this price cannot say how disappointed I was. Super sad for the price we spent to leave away without feeling unsatisfied and for this to be my sister’s first and only Korean bbq experience.

The food at Koryo Korean BBQ was really good and full of flavor. I enjoyed everything I tried and would definitely come back for the dishes alone. The downside was the service. Our server, Virgil, seemed like he didn’t want to be there and wasn’t very helpful when I asked about the menu. He wasn’t very friendly either, which made the experience less enjoyable. They were also out of three different drinks I wanted to order, which was frustrating. Overall the food was fantastic but the service and drink availability need improvement.

Visited 3/7. Third time visiting. The food quality has gone down. The purple rice that was served had a texture of a couple days old rice, not even heated. When we asked for new rice, texture was better but felt like it was just some microwaved white rice - they said they “ran out of purple rice”. -So I am guessing we were initially served the bottom of rice cooker rice. The stew and the steamed egg tasted like dish soap. Lost appetite from the start. The meat was okay.. the galbi was too fatty and the other unseasoned meat was rubbery. overall not worth the $200 experience. Very disappointing.

Koryo used to be my favorite Kbbq. Friendly service, great quality of meats, and the palate cleanser ginger cinnamon tea at the end of the meal was amazing. However, the last 3 times I been here they said that they ran out of their ginger cinnamon tea. Whoever is in charge needs to better accommodate / allocate especially when reservations are made. All 3 times were at different times afternoon, early evening, and late evening. Also, the meats have decrease in quality. The server could improve by letting us know what meats are being served. With more Korean bbq restaurants in the area they cannot afford to perform worse than before. I will not be coming back.
