The food was absolutely delicious... the ambiance was the same. It was nice to be somewhere that they really value a great experience, I never felt rushed or forgotten, which happens often as I travel, I usually eat alone. I had the calamari, and the pizza was perfect, and I've lived in Italy, and it rivaled my favorites there. My dessert was out of this world. Seems simple being cream and berries, but the cream was positively sinful, SO rich and creamy. My bartender, Kyril, said the chef is the best. I believe it. They seemed to be closing up, and he made me feel like I had all of the time I'm the world. Being a former bartender and server, I kept trying to offer to pay the bill so he could cash out at least, but he wouldn't let me. Even offered tea when others probably wouldn't, so I accepted. Nothing but 5 stars from me! :)

Early dinner for our anniversary turned out great! Made reservations for outdoor seating.. though it was not busy when we arrived. Server and Manager were warm and courteous. Great service. Cocktails were done right. Coconut mojita, lemon drop, kings club. The walking fool blend was a great choice. House bread was a good assortment. Appetizers were smaller portions of calamari. Bruschetta was flavorful. Lamp chops was great and medium rare would be best. The salmon, trout and A la checa angel hair were good portions and done right..the choco chip creme brule and pana cotta were a great choice of dessert. Place can get a makeover..recommended ..

We were visiting Laguna Beach and tried Jacks. It was very good. We made reservations but it was early enough we really didn't need them but by 5:30 -6:00 pm it was getting really busy. My husband and I both had the orange roughy piccata. We also split the Caprice salad. I had a lemon drop Martini which was excellent and my husband had whiskey sour. For dessert I had the espresso martini. The staff is very attentive, we didn't wait for anything.

We had a great time at Del Prado House hosted by Jacks Restaurant! Beautiful courtyard that was newly renovated to enjoy Jacks amazing Italian food. Great place to host anywhere from an intimate gathering of 10-12 people, or larger functions. Perfect location in downtown Dana Point.

This is a very charming and stylish setting! You can feel the ocean breeze as you enjoy Jack’s always delicious food and superb service. A perfect venue for a cocktail party, reception or special gathering with friends.

Jack’s food is always fabulous and enjoying it in the ambiance of the new Del Prado House courtyard took it to a new level. We had such a great time!

Jack's is our go to place for an intimate, relaxing dinner or large family celebration. We had a party of 10 for a special birthday. Everything was perfect from the drinks to dessert! My favorite is the Lemon Drop and we always enjoy something from Jack's wine selection. Everyone had a great meal. Jack's offers many delicious choices of entrees no what you are in the mood for. Seafood, chicken, beef and vegetarian options are all tasty and generous. We always look forward to going to Jack's for an awesome meal and experience.

We have an annual family dinner here which is usually around 20 people and it’s our favorite. Now that they completed the patio renovation, it was better than we could’ve imagined. Everyone loved the comfort and privacy of the patio. The food and cocktails were delicious, per usual. Can’t wait to go back for the salmon montanara — it’s the best!

Love Jacks! Went for a quick dinner in the Lantern Streets of DP, and absolutely LOVED our dinner. I had the Shrimp Scampi, which is always a favorite, and Jack's Scampi was out of this world! Huge prawns and the butter sauce were magic! Husband had Sausage & Peppers, and he was a happy man! We shared Jack's salad and a great bottle of Italian wine. Would highly recommend!

I hosted a special birthday celebration with 20 guests in the Patio Room in the month of January. The room was warm and the set up was perfect for moving around and mingling before dinner for cocktails and appetizers. Our waiter Chris greeted each guest with a glass of champagne and accommodated those who wanted a cocktail or wine instead. He and his assistant provided seamless service to our group and with a smile the entire evening - he never missed a beat. The kitchen got all the food out at the same time so no one was sitting around waiting for their order. Every single guest was delighted with their food. The Pork Chop Milanese was exceptional, Sandabs and Eggplant Parmesan also got rave reviews and the desserts were delicious. The birthday girl said the evening was perfect! I couldn’t ask for anything more.

The craft cocktails are always creative and perfectly executed, making each visit feel like a special occasion. We went for happy hour. The drinks were okay considering they were happy hour drinks. I asked the staff if the vodka came out of a plastic bottle lol but they did. It respond. All in all the staff was great. And the meatballs were good.

Don’t let the staged photos fool you. Sad little strips of salmon with the Caesar, tiny portion for the price, bread has potential but ours was stale. First and last time we’ll order from here.
