All those negative reviews must have worked. The food I got was hot, good, and inexpensive. It's true that there aren't a large number of choices, but I think that's better than sacrificing quality.

Our experience was outstanding. Great service for all of the e.ployees. So nice and willing to go the extra mile. Davis ,Ca. Is my recommendation for Panda express. Food is delicious too. Thank you for the outstanding service and food I will recommend to everyone.

Always has vegetarian meals prepared don't have to wait in long lines if there is a line they greet everyone and say we'll be right with you unlike the woodland location that doesn't have anything ready and makes a big deal when vegetarian food. And doesn't greet guest just asks what do you want

The lady was really nice to me. I didn't know the routine for going through the line and she was nice enough to be patient w me (plus I'm physically disabled) . Food was hot and fresh and DELICIOUS!!

One of the go to spots for quick and good tasting food. Some workers serve very little. But recently the portions have been solid in the last few visits.

This Panda in Davis CA is nice. The service is great and the employees keep it clean. The food is delicious. My favorite is the Teriyaki chicken

Sarah Hunnicutt, was phenomenal!!!! we had a large complicated order and she performed exceptionally well and mad sure we had the freshest food possible and adhered to all request big and small..we truly appreciate her customer service and Edgar C was also very helpful and knowledgeable. I have been to different Panda Express around California, and this particular branch exceeds my expectations. The Davis, CA Panda Express Branch is by far the most Professional Staffed of all time. The food here is different, it taste a lot better compared to other branches. Your take out food is in a very good quality plastic container, not in a brown box container with some parchment lining. My food is not for the dogs and we deserve better containers for our foods. When in Davis, CA , I always stop by here to eat.

Panda is awesome. Free sample. Coupon on the receipt. The food is addictive. I warned you. Nice variety for most types of eaters. It's not real Chinese but everyone, even the Chinese, know it's delicious. My go-to is Beijing beef. I feel like it's pretty underrated. Also half chow mein/half white rice (no extra cost). The service here was really good. I ordered the Teriyaki chicken, but they had run out. I had to wait, but they offered me free egg rolls for waiting. In other words, they know how to take care of customers.

Always extremely professional, even in the busiest of times. Staff is always courteous and accurate - in-person or online. On the ONE recent occasion in which I had an issue, it was amicably resolved with a refund within hours. I recommend placing large orders online.

Located northwest of downtown Davis near highway 113, this Panda Express has a surprisingly large interior, and it’s clean and bright. All of the food items we tried were pretty standard quality. Staff was very efficient and provided friendly service. Large free parking lot.

Don't expect to get out of there in few minutes. Panda gets slammed and definitely slows down from whenever til closing. However the quality of the food has never suffered. Worth the wait.

Great service, love Panda, but my problem with this location is that the food can taste "old" at times. If you don't go at a peak time (lunch or dinner) don't expect too much.

There was a very long line waiting to order food! They only had 3 people serving food, so it took a long time. The employees were very nice & accommodating however!

If inexpensive fried meats in various sweet and spicy sauces are what you crave, you're looking in the right place. You're not gonna write home about anything here, and those side dishes are usually underprepared or have been sitting for hours, but sometimes a bowl of orange chicken is just the right kind of sugar, salt and fat to hit the spot.

I ordered a 2 entree plate with 1 side. Picture if you will the 3 partition to-go box. The big partition was filled with fried rice. The 2 smaller partitions had the entrees. I got the grilled teriyaki chicken and the mushroom chicken. I thought the portion sizes were typical of other Chinese places that offered food similarly. Overall, it was a large amount of food, granted mostly rice. The teriyaki sauce was tasty. Unfortunately, the fried rice had some uncooked grains. I was pleased that they offered clementine Izze. Quick service.

This was my first time picking up what I think of as Chinese fast food. I chose a plate meal with chow mein, honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken and an order of Rangoon...3 fried wontons filled with cream cheese. I'm not eating in restaurants because of Omicron so I took this home to eat. 5 shrimp, no walnuts and no sauce to speak of was disappointing: the dish tasted old and dried out. The chow mein was just noodles and I think rather spare pieces of cabbage? It was moist but not very tasty. The orange chicken was pretty good and there was quite a lot of it. The fried wontons and cream cheese were crisp and well filled. Not a great meal as there was not enough vegetables, but maybe that was my fault because of the entrees I picked. Certainly not restaurant quality. I'm not sure I would go back even to try something else.

Good selection of freshly cooked food, indoor- outdoor seating, reasonable prices, friendly staff. But sometimes the lines are very long while other times there is almost no one there, and it is difficult to predict when the long lines will occur. Also there is nothing vegetarian except a few plain vegetables with no sauce or spices, which is surprising since there are so many vegetarian Chinese food dishes available at other Chinese restaurants.

I've been going to this Panda for years I drive all the way from Winters to go here and today as usual it was busy but the girl that served my plates just slops it on and doesn't give you much of the entree but they give you lots of rice and chow mein. The only one working diligently and moving around was a guy named Nathan he did a great job asking the cooks for certain items and try to run the register too wish all workers there were like him and i couldn't eat the white rice I got it tasted stale. better service since i have gone back a few times only issue was waiting on certain things i wanted and portions of entrees way too small

It's a busy Panda Express, so the food is fresh and hot. Most entrees are heavy on sauce and sugar and come with more than enough rice. It's also relatively inexpensive and quick. This location had no chopsticks. It was also a mess with overflowing trash in multiple places.

It's what you expect for a fast food Chinese joint. Decent food for a very good cost. Theres not really much to expect if you want a quick meal. Lines are long at night.

As most Panda's it is a hit or miss. Some days great experience some days staff push you old food from a tray and think if they speak very fast they are actually working fast.

This location is busy. My order took a bit longer due to running out of food. What gets me , they took 15 minutes and still forgot my spring rolls. Well I guess I will never eat there again.

Eat there two nights in a row around 4-5pm most trays were empty and veggies look a little week. Food tasted like all other Panda's. One night not great service and skimpy on the scoops and the second night great service and great portions.

When you order veggies, they will give you very big chunks.

Your basic Chinese inspired fast food. Fast, reasonably cheap and acceptably tasty. Execution on steamed veggies is often spotty but edible. Less popular dishes are made in small batches so if you wander off the beaten path you may have to wait a bit for a new tray, but your choice will be hot and fresh if you are willing to wait.

What could I say? This is Panda Express. The food is average for any college student coming in to fill up on their Chinese-American fast food. Three stars because I really wish they could serve you bigger sides but apart from that, all is well.

For me, a Chinese, I didn't find Panda Express more attractive compared with other Chinese restaurant in the town. Honestly speaking, its quality is just so-so. Maybe it's because it has became an American-Chinese food style restaurant.

The food is great but the portion size is so inconsistent. Sometimes I get plenty of sides but sometimes so little. Also they really need to speed things up because the line usually moves slowly.

The food is average & service is average as well. They're really inconsistent with the amount of food they give you. Some times my box is mostly empty but other times it's packed full. I guess it just depends on which person is filling your box. Entree-wise, I don't recommend the new item: Pacific Chili Shrimp. It doesn't taste at all worth the +$1.25 premium price.

Do not order food online its best if you go in because the food is never fresh. Even when I went in the food seemed like it was leftovers or something.

Employees are fine. Food is ok. Prices are acceptable. The place was pretty clean. The only problem I have is the FORKS. Why are they in a metal bin for everyone to touch on with crumbs in it RIGHT BESIDE THE TRASHCAN! Totally unacceptable. At least get the individually bagged utensils. This is nasty.

I've gone there over the years and they keep increasing their prices of both sodas and their 2-item combo plate. Its gone from like 9-something to now 11-something. Otherwise, their staff are hard working, fast, efficient, and they do really well to handle the large lunch time crowds. If they run out of a menu item due to a rush - they are quick to make more and can quote you an accurate time of when it will be available. Most of the time they bring it to your table. - both of which I appreciate.

Really stingy with food, didn’t even give me the full serving size that their supposed to give per entre in a plate. When asked for a little bit more they said it’ll have to be extra.

Chow mein is chopped into tiny pieces and they seem to have a problem keeping items hot & ready. Standard panda express experience other than that. Better Chinese in downtown for sure

They advertised the ability to pay with PayPal in two separate spots, on the door and on the counter. Yet when it came time to pay, their PayPal scanner 'has been broken for a while'.

Only Panda Express with no Hot Mustard so minus 3 stars. Drive to Dixon for the better experience.

The food here is typical of any panda and they tend to be conservative with their portions. I mostly had sauce and vegetables and barely any chicken in one of my entrees. The chow Mein was questionable as it just had huge chunks of cabbage. The food areas can be kept a bit tidier. I had a bad experience with a cashier once because a gift card was not registering and the manager was not around to manually input it. I did not have time to wait for the manager to return. I ended up paying for the meals because I did not want to hold up the line. That was one experience and I wouldn't let that count against them in general, but just would like them to change the policy that anyone should be able to manually input a gift card number into the system or have a back up person in charge if the main person has to be out.

The orange chicken was really good, however the Chow mein was more lettuce than noodles. I got it delivered and no soy sauce was given nor fortune cookies.

Giving two stars because the food was good but the customer service was horrible. I wasn't greeted at all by anyone when I walked in and it wasn't do to them being busy. The lady that helped me I believe was the manager gave very small portions and to top it off the teriyaki chicken had no teriyaki. I went back to get it and again I was not greeted but this time ignored until the current customers food was served andi paid for. I understand continuing with serving the customer but at least recognize that the customer before this one is back to have his order fulfilled as ordered. While waiting for the customer to pay she begans restocking the fortune cookies instead of simply giving me the teriyaki that she forgot to give me from the start. And then to top it off she simply puts some in a small container and hands it to me with not even as much of a sorry. I will never return to this Panda that's for sure

Tons of door dash drivers standing around. Once the guy working the wok was piss drunk and he burnt a lot of the food. Manager gave me new food but it was all bad. The place felt helpless. I’ve been back since then but lately there are the same issues as stated above. I won’t even try for dinner anymore. I really hope they figure it out cos there is no other fast take out around.

There was an older lady in front of me that was asking about basic ingredients on the food and the lady serving her was passively rude and impatient. This is not the first time that I have a negative or unpleasant experience. What would be my advice? Work on building a positive and organized environment so employees are more able to be present, patient and customer-focused. Don’t have your eyes wondering around as your customer is looking at what to order, help them and guide them through their decision. & Ask yourself, if I were a customer walking in right now… how would I feel?

I'm probably not going back anytime soon.

Everything was barely even warm and no flavor for the chow mein and fried rice. There needs to be more help and teamwork within the staff. With the girl rushing to put together online orders the cashier could’ve easily called out older orders in between helping the walk in line. Especially since that line seemed a lot less rushed.

After I placed my mobile order I waited for 5 minutes then stood in line where people pick up their orders. I patiently waited while a few other people where served. When it was my turn I was completely ignored. I had to stand directly in front of the cash register before someone asked me for my email confirmation.

Not even acknowledged after 5 minutes of standing waiting for a “be right with you” or anything but nothing. Not friendly. No customer service. Dry food/seems old.

Disorganized management and disrespectful crew. “The customer can’t wait, if the food isn’t ready they can go somewhere else” it’s not what you say- but how you say it. I recommend customers to go to the panda in Dixon!

Very unhappy customer as Panda keeps increasing it's prices but keeps decreasing the serving of chicken or shrimp, even if you pay extra. And stuffing the order with plenty of cheap white rice doesn't hide the fact the meat servings aren't enough...

The guy who helped me was hella rude and I'm not sure its because the way they do service now.... All the changes but Friday April 24th at like 830pm the guy who was taking my order was very rude and I think he might have over charged me when I switched egg rolls.... On 8/10/2020 Yun Shang and 2 other ladies were very disrespectful towards my Mother. They laughed and had my Mom wait over an hour for mushroom chicken that was going to be ready in 5 minutes supposedly. The refused a refund even though my Mom showed her receipt and they said that my Mom didn't pay even though my Mom again had a receipt. They put my Mom's food out not telling who it was for. One worker also threw up during her job especially with this Virus going around. I am very appalled, furious, and angry with the customer service. If anyone wants disrespect and low customer service this is the right place to go to. Don't eat here if you want full respect as a customer and I sure am not going to eat here anymore

This Panda is definitely not as good as how I am used to. The food is okay but I always feel like I'm at a Pseudo-Chinese Chipotle when I come here because of the stingy servers who act like they're taking food out of their personal stash to serve me. For the amount of food I get, the value is just not there even for fast food standards Only eat here as a last resort!

I ain't finna hold but the portion is way too little. Got a bigger plate and for the small carte box contain beef and broccoli which I found that most of it was fill with broccoli. Very disappointing location!

This is the worst Panda Express I have ever been. I got in the restaurant in 04/18 at 9pm and I was in a 40 min line behind 4 people!! Absolutely incompetent team, nobody knew what to do. Disorganized, rude, slow. After 40 min I got my food in a bag , got to my hotel room and half of the order were missing!! Food was cold due to waiting for other items. Also food was not even comparable quality wise what I buy in other Panda Express. This team needs either a new manager or more people to get faster to serve people!

The worst Panda store I've ever seen. Long time waiting, there's always missing something. I usually see doordash drivers waiting for 20 minutes or more. I love Panda, but in Davis I don't wanna go there anymore.

Ordered catering online 3 days in advance to be delivered at 1:00. Food was done cooking at 1:30. Food arrived without plates or utensils. My whole event (~40 people) was stalled for over an hour because I had to personally leave and go back to the store for plates and utensils. I also did not receive a receipt or email confirmation at any time except when I personally went to the store the morning of, which should not be necessary. This is the worst catering service I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. I expect more for a $400 order.

It has been a few years since my last visit to Panda Express and things have not improved. I placed an online order and arrived 2 minutes after my scheduled pickup time. I was told it would be an additional 10 minutes for one of the items ordered so I sat down to wait. 15 minutes pass, and the order was still not ready. I asked how much longer and received a snarkey response about them not serving raw chicken and it would be another 10 minutes. I asked if I could substitute the item for another item, which they did, as I needed to get to work and couldn't wait any longer. My original items had been sitting on the counter 15+ minutes and were cold. I ended up throwing out the chow mein because it was cold, hard and inedible. Overall, not a pleasant dining experience. I tried to keep an open mind but this restaurant confirmed you get what you pay for. I will not be back. I wonder if the quality of the food is any better when fresh? My guess is probably not. Sorry Panda Express...you can do better! 1 star poor customer service and 1 star low quality food.

Had broccoli beef a few days ago. The food quality was below the standard. The employees were disrespectful! They wrap the food in a very light paper bag. They don't even bother to offer a stronger large bag until and unless you tell them to do so which is pretty weird! I spilled all my food on the way as the bag tore apart. When I went back and reordered the same food, the Chinese american lady at the counter didn't even have the simple courtesy to say sorry. I had to pay again for a new order. Very poor experience indeed!!! However, panda express in Utah/ Arizona were quite friendly but in Davis I guess the employees are of the worst mentality! This is the main problem here.

I've never had such consistently poor experiences. Husband and I have tried this place over 10 times between us and not a single visit was pleasant. We've been told "5 minute wait" on items just to be told 15 minutes later that they haven't restocked them yet. Consistently out of items after 8PM (see above). Our online orders have been both (literally) 45 minutes late or cold upon expected time. Have gotten tiny portions. Ridiculous. At least the person at the register is usually nice.

Online order still wasn't ready until 40 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, and I was waiting inside for the last 30 minutes of that. Asked twice about my order and was only told they were still working on it. All because one entree was not ready to be served. Asked for a third time what the hold up was and I told them to just swap the entree for a different item. The chow mein and other entree as well as the rangoons were cold when I finally got the order. Would have been out of there only a little late had people been informed that something they ordered was out and would be out for a while. It was literally 4x the original amount of time projected to get my food.... cold. I was better off had I ordered in person since someone would have told me they didn't have something.

I ordered Charmaine rice string, bean chicken and teriyaki chicken. My child Maine was hard and cold. My string being chicken had a nasty taste to it and the manager at that time. Which right now it is 3 PM on Thursday. She said. That she could not refund me. My money that she could only give me different food and I did not want different food. I wanted my money back and she refused to do it. Bad service, bad food, bad overall.
