Best restaurant on Daytona Beach! On vacation touring Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with family! I got the LandShark Burger with fried pickles and a virgin strawberry daiquiri! ONE OF THE TOP 3 MEALS OF MY LIFE! Our server was very kind! After we grabbed a geocache nearby and went to visit the Speedway.
Stopped in for a bite travelling down a1a. Quick service for seating amd polite staff. Drinks and the best nachos ever were served quickly. If you are looking for a awesome , not dinner, bite... this plate of nachos is plenty for two. 5 stars!
They have an entire gluten free menu to choose from! I had the Hawaiian Jerk burger which comes with a double patty. Super juicy and flavorful. They have a gluten free dedicated fryer for their gluten free fries which were also delicious!
We come here every time we are Daytona. Everything we have ordered is great. We ordered the fish and chips this time...I think they were amazing (and I don't really like fish). The margaritas are excellent The service was great...as always.
Me and my lifelong partner visited Daytona Beach. while we were there we had dinner at Landshark Bar and Grill the service provided Emily was exponential. What a wonderful personality and so sweet thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication to all of your customers that night. Hope you guys have a wonderful night.
We stumbled across this gem while looking for a place to park and walk the beach. What a lucky find. The bar staff were fantastic - super friendly. We didn't eat but after seeing some of the dishes being served to others, we wish we'd not eaten right before. Overall, we had a great experience here!
Bar wasn’t busy and while the initial service was slow, once we were waited on, the rest of the experience the bartender was attentive. Food was great and came out pretty quick. The key lime pie martini, while over-priced, was well balanced and delicious! Can’t beat the view!
Great restaurant and tiki bar on the beach. Food and service was excellent. They are very pet friendly also. As soon as we sat down they brought a bowl of fresh water and ice for our dog. Always appreciated! Thank you
This is my first time in Florida and this place was AMAZING. The food was delicious and the service were so nice and sweet. It is a little pricey but the seafood was great quality and the gift shop was a cute touch. 10/10 across all boards
Had the Taco Nacho appetizers for evening light meal and it was amazing and was a lot of food. Very good, waitress was very good and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.
We went here for the first time today and absolutely loved it! Even with it being bike week we were able to get parking very easily. We were seated very quickly and the service was awesome. They have a very good cocktail menu with lots of great drinks to choose from, and the food was also very good! The views are also really great here, I highly recommend checking it out!!!
You can reserve a table on their website which is a strong recommendation. We went around 2 & I was glad we made reservations. Very busy place but our order was out ,correct & she still found time to check in on us.
Came here with my husband for a late lunch/early dinner. We got the seafood boil and the fish and chips to share. The fish came with a jalapeno tartar sauce which was really good and the fish super moist and flaky and the breading has a really nice crunch to it. The seafood was well seasoned and had just a little kick but mild enough for most people! Only downfall for me was the drinks were rather small but still very tasty. Also you can't beat the ocean side view!
Best beachside dining in Daytona beach. If your lucky you’ll have Cathy as your server. She is an amazing server, super good at recommending items based on your likes and dislikes. She’s also a great person to chat with and really cares about her customers. We just wanted her to sit down with us for dinner and drinks!
Wife loved the Poke bowl. My Crispy Chicken samich with upgrade to Cesar salad was great. Her frozen margarita rocked. Outside on the sand overlooking the ocean... amazing! Our server was only a month working there and excellent. All thumbs up! Oh, and super nice parking. A plus for this busy area.
I was traveling on business when I decided to stop in and grab a bite to eat. I was seated outside on the ocean view- beach front patio and "CATHY" was my server. She was awesome and I have not received service this good in at least 20 years. She really made my lunch pit stop at your establishment really enjoyable. She added great value to my experience. I had a great time and my food was PERFECT. Served hot and fresh. A big shout out to Cathy!!! Thank you!!
First time there but the food was delicious. We had our meal outside which was pleasant.Amy our server was very attentive and kind. You could see the beach while eating.
The Shrimp Tacos were delicious, I substituted the Chips and Salsa for French Fries with a side of Queso Dip. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area. We sat inside to get out of the sun, but the outdoor seating areas looked very nice as well.
Love the location and sat outside. The beach area was great where the kids could go play while waiting for our food so the adults could have a meaningful conversation. Our server was very attentive and will ask for her the next time we dine there. Highly recommend for a casual night out while looking forward a great view of the ocean.
Great drinks. Food was perfect. Beach view on the patio. Outside bar is nice.
Wow! Amazing views of the ocean from their outdoor tables. The food was amazing. One of my friends is celiac, and we appreciated the gluten free bun upgrade and that their fries are made in a gluten free frier. Every member of our party found something they liked, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered (which doesn't always happen with this group). Highly recommend! Also, the hostess and server were both super friendly and helpful! Oh and the chocolate lava cake is basically heaven! If you like chocolate, definitely save room and treat yourself!
We had such a great experience! Cathy was an excellent server, never had to wait for refills etc. The GM was so friendly and helpful as well. Food was excellent and drinks were great. Atmosphere was perfect, right on the water but plenty of shaded seating while looking out at the ocean. Highly recommend and would come back!
Amazing food, great outdoor atmosphere, the restaurant was closed for a private party. We sat at the bar wasn’t bust for a Friday but relaxing great music and you can hear the waves from the ocean. Closed on New Year’s Eve!
Food and service great! Don't be dettered by full parking lot, plenty of seating inside and out. Caribbean burger and Ahi tuna bowl were delicious.
Cathy was an outstanding server! She provided excellent recommendations on everything from drinks to food to dessert! She was very engaged with us, and her delightful demeanor made us feel very welcome. Thank you Cathy for a wonderful experience from the Ohio family visiting the area for a college visit at ERAU!
Wow 👌 such a wonderful experience this evening for me and the family, 1st time to a Landshark B&G , We will come back. Adding this location to my list, "Keeping the Party Going" by going to as many Margaritaville's this year, our waitress was AWESOME, after taking care of us as we were the only people there she "Graie" offer to take our picture
Stopped over here from the beach and very happy we did. It has great views as it is right on the beach. There is a large parking lot. It was very busy the day we came on a weekend. Casual seafood dining. There’s plenty of outdoor dining and even more inside. We had love music while we were there.
We stopped for an early dinner and I'm glad we did. They have a nice variety of seafood and non seafood items (which is important for my wife.) I had the shrimp tacos (blackened) and she got the Caribbean Burger, which was spicy. Both were fantastic and Melissa, our server, was awesome. (So we're the drinks. I enjoyed the Lava Flow since I like strawberry and coconut.) And the view was also fantastic. Overall a very pleasant meal. 🙂
We decided to stop here today and had lunch. I had fish and chips with a Landshark beer. My wife had the cheeseburger and fries with a margarita. Amber was our server. She did an Awesome job and the food was delicious. The view to the beach was really nice also.
We did not go during their busy season, but the staff was very friendly and tentative to our needs. There was good spacing between each table so you didn't feel cramped. Clean environment. I ordered the coconut shrimp and it was good so i recommend trying it. They have an outside bar and seating that overlooks some beautiful views, especially if your there for the sunset!
Perfect casual beach front dining. Friendly professional wait staff serving nicely presented & generously portioned delicious meals & drinks. For most drinks, just a few $$ more gets you keepsake plastic drinkware. No watered down beach cocktails served here. Unbeatable unbelievably beautiful beach , views and an open umbrella beach dining setting (if weather permits). Adirondack chairs placed facing the beach if you care to sip, chill and watch waves. Affordable priced menu & accessible with lots of free parking in lot. Perfectly located to eat or drink and relax on the beach....or walk off dessert. Highly recommend and will absolutely go again when in Daytona Beach.
Ok... we have got to be honest... this place was superb. Want dinner with an ocean view but want to keep it casual? Umm, here's your spot. If you sir outside, the balcony overlooks the stunning Atlantic Ocean in breathtaking fashion. You can even take a spot down on the sand in an outdoor open seating area. The menu is highly diverse and has something for everyone. We got seafood, chicken, burgers, drinks, desserts, and apps. We did the whole shebang. They are absolutely kid friendly as well. There is a nice little gift and a souvenir shop inside. It was a beautiful breezy day, and we even bought a couple of Landshark hoodies and shot glasses to take home. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our orders were correct, our glasses never empty, and supplied ToGo boxes when we were finished. We had a lovely time here, and we will be back!!!
This place is awesome. It has seating that is on the beach but not where it is too windy and the inside bar has TV’s and the greatest gift shop ever. What really matters is that? The food is spectacular. I took photos of the menu and they won’t do it justice. It’s closer to Daytona Shores. It is worth driving past a few other popular restaurants which I will not mention. Trust me!
Very friendly staff and a really cool view! Considering the amount of people we had and the number of us that got margheritas in the souvenir cup, everything was super affordable! Our large table sat outside and roamed the sand while we waited for food. Everyone was very nice and had short conversations with us :)
Went for dinner tonight in a party of 6. Food was excellent and the staff was above reproach Our waiter was also the bartender. He handled both jobs Great !!! We had the choice to eat outside or inside. Seeing as it was very cool, we ate indoors. Photographer came around and took some nice pictures.
My dad and I come to Landshark regularly. We love to be outside sitting by the ocean for lunch. Our server Cathy is the BEST. She always greets us with a smile. She takes time with each of her tables and provides exceptional service. The food is delicious. The crab cakes are a favorite of mine. We love to bring our out of town guests here as well.
Myself and some friends met here to have lunch, with a beautiful view of the beach. Our hostess Bev, was the first to greet us, and she was so kind, and courteous . We asked about sitting somewhere with a great beach view. She took us to the perfect table with a spectacular view of the beach. The food and service was fantastic too. Our server Ashley was just great. Also very kind and prompt. She was very attentive to us and we really appreciated her. Over all a great visit amongst friends, atmosphere, good food and drinks. I Will definitely visit again. - Carmen B.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Landmark Bar & Grill – Daytona Beach, FL The drinks were really good and made just right! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and our server was absolutely exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy yourself. Highly recommend!
Really laid-back atmosphere. Bartenders are incredible. Dylan is wonderful, he keeps an eye on you keeps your drinks filled and brings you delicious food. Cheeseburger in Paradise is truly the best. Beer is ice cold and wonderful view of the ocean. They also have local acoustic singers playing on Friday nights.
Wow we had the best service and food. I got the 14.99 smashburger special and wow best burger I've had and the chips are freshly made and were amazing. My husband had the huli huli chicken and wow that and the rice were amazing! The margaritas are another a+ according to my husband. He said said they were so smooth. Our server, Jade was amazing too! She was attentive and was so nice!
This is a good place to view the beach and to have alcoholic beverages and seafood meal while relaxing on the beach. Tiki bar outside is pretty cool. My server was Heather. There seems to be a good team spirit here - when one employee took a break, Another one seamlessly took over. I had the seafood combo and it was well cooked. 3/08/2025 1:18PM
Food was good but could have been warmer, crab legs cooked about 2 minutes to long meat stuck inside the legs to the shell. Other than that it was great. Portions were good for the price. Very fast service and waitress was so happy and pleasant to us..
I went for a day trip to Daytona and gave Landshark Bar & Grill a try. The Caribbean salad was very good and Key lime Pie smooth. I enjoyed sitting on the patio as well at the view. The customer service and wait staff were both great. It's right on the beach and you get a choice of seating. Inside, patio, or beach side.
I stopped by LandShark while searching for a dog-friendly restaurant, and it was such a delight! They sat us on the patio, where we got to enjoy an amazing ocean view. The staff were incredibly accommodating to my two pups, bringing them a bowl of water and some yummy treats. The vibe was super friendly, and our server was awesome! They made a bunch of great recommendations that we loved. I can’t wait to return to this lovely spot in the future!
The food here was delicious! We went 2 days in a row because it was so good! I had the fried shrimp tacos and my husband had the Caribbean burger. There is also outdoor seating with a great view of the ocean. The staff were all friendly. Will definitely come back the next time we visit Daytona Beach!
This is a great spot for both lunch and dinner, offering beautiful ocean views and enjoyable live music that adds to the atmosphere. The menu features plenty of tasty options, making it easy to find something new to try each visit. I ordered the beer and tacos, and both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The service was friendly and efficient. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Daytona who wants good food and a great vibe.
The outdoor vibes was all that I wanted nice beach view... Food was a 4star because the shrimp was steamed and not grilled as I thought they would be. Some may like it that way, just not me.
We’ve been here before and had a totally different experience. On our last visit the restaurant seemed like it was in need of a deep cleaning. Thus our party sat outside, the area was littered with trash, bird poop on pretty much everything and rusted fixtures. Good was okay, nothing great. Sadly, we’ll most likely return because it seems to be a hit or mis. Hopefully a hit and I’ll update my post.
Great food Great customer service Great atmosphere AND they have an OCEANVIEW. A BIG CHAIR FIR PICTURES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🥗🦑🦐🍡🍹🌊🧉💲🤑🌊
LandShark Bar & Grill is located on the beach in Daytona Beach. It was too cold and windy to enjoy outdoor beachside dining on the day we visited. This restaurant has a clean and well maintained presentation. Are server was great. The food didn't wow me. It seemed overcooked and was lacking in flavor to my expectations. The food also seemed pricey for the portions. A few more French fries would have made the Seafood Combo more impressive. There is an interesting and extensive adult beverage menu. We definitely plan to return to further investigate these options. This looks like a great place to watch a sporting event on TV. The dining area is open with a bar area in the center. There are actually tables outdoors on the beach. We'll be back.
Excellent location, the food was good but the drinks were better. Casamigos was on sale while we were there, comes with a mini shot bottle. This is the spot to grab a drink or shots with some friends right by the water. The view is amazing, they even have tables in the sand outside. Truly in the beachfront of Daytona Beach, the service was good.
Nice restaurant beautiful views. We frequent as locals. Only problem we have ever had was with hostesses over seating. Trying to make our party of 7 sit in the sun on the beach at noon in July instead of giving us a comfortable spot on the porch, had to go to management and again trying to make my daughter eat outside in the sun after we had been on the beach for 2 hours because she didn't have shoes on....the restaurant is on the beach like literally everyone is coming off the beach that's crazy. The food is good though.
We had the fish and chips and the Louisiana peel and eat shrimp. Both were pretty good. We also had the fried pickles which were also pretty good but very small portions for price. My kids had the pirate ship kids meal one shrimp and one chicken tenders. They were both good size and the tenders were real hand breaded chicken. Our server was awesome! Very attentive and nice. Drinks were good. I loved the Italian margarita!
First time at this LandShark but have been at many margaritaville and LandShark bars from Cali to Connecticut from Florida to San Antonio. The bartender Becca was amazing. The poor girl was pretty much by herself for a good hour. She killed it. Service was outstanding. Always with a smile and pleasant service. Had a great time. And yes they played some of Jimmy’s music.
I have been to LandShark three times the last few months. Love the ocean view and entertainment. The nachos were delicious on a previous trip. However, all 3 times I went, I tried using a Bogo Margarita coupon from our hotel and was told it is only for a “basic” Margarita. Yesterday, for example, we were told we could not use it for a Spicy Margarita so we ordered it anyway without the coupon. When I ordered a second one and asked a different bar keep about the coupon (we ordered the same Spicy Margarita at the inside bar and it was $2 more than ordering at the outside bar (fishy)). I asked why there was a $2 difference and the bar keep could not explain, but would not adjust the charge. After paying, I asked why can’t I ever use the coupon. The bar keep said, next time, just order the basic Margarita (which the coupon is for) and ask for jalapeño juice. Same thing. This insight would have saved us $14 this trip and we would have stayed for dinner. I find the coupon misleading and would have appreciated the loophole advice sooner. Left feeling a little salty about the bait and switch regarding the coupon and the $2 pad when ordering the same exact drink at the inside bar.
Very friendly staff. Fun atmosphere. I had the peel and eat shrimp and a salad and my son had nachos and hand made chips. Food was good. Prices were a little higher than expected but we had a nice view of the ocean from our patio table. Our waiter was friendly. Service was decent. Lovely view of the ocean from our patio table. I would go again.
We walked almost a mile from our condo on the beach to eat. I looked for a water hose to rinse our feet & the manager said there is one right next door. I walked another 2 blocks to find water to rinse our feet. I informed our server that I had a gluten allergy. When my food finally arrived, it was made with fried shrimp. The order was remade brought back with corn shells that tasted like they were taken out of the bag and never even heated up. I still stocked up on my souvenirs before leaving.
It was too windy to eat outside, so we dined in doors. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We had the fin margaritas frozen which were very tasty. My husband had the fish tacos which he said were a little strong. His meal came with two tacos and a bunch of chips and salsa. I had the ribs which were extremely good and fall off the bone tender. The sauce was really good. We also enjoyed key lime pie that was colored pink for breast cancer awareness month. The food was a bit pricey, but we would dine here again! Hopefully next time, the weather will cooperate and we can sit outside.
Fun place. The burger was over cooked and hard. The crab that my wife ordered was $36 and some change. Was way over cooked also. The shell was soft and the meat came out like shredded tuna fish. She only ate a small part of it. The food was not worth the money.
Fantastic place for beach views and environment. Our waitress was a little slow in checking in us but she was super nice. We had lunch and there were 4 of us and it was $170 and that was with 1 beer and 1 alcohol drink and 2 soft drinks. We also had 2 appetizers. I did think it was a little spendy but the food was good.
La verdad es sin deleite estar sentado viendo el mar y disfrutando de exquisitos platos , mariscos , pesca variada y muy buenas cervezas. La atención muy amable.
Honestly I thought this would be an awesome beachside restaurant to go to and take my mom whom had never been to Florida. I was wrong. The food took an hour at minimum to get to us and it was 8p.m on a Thursday. Not busy and plenty of staff. When we did finally get it my mom's nachos had the least amount of cheese they could've possibly put on them. They were also cold. Our waitress(bless her heart) was doing her best but she was doing the job of about 5 other staff members. I saw 2 waiters standing around and one of them was picking his rear end!! Yuuuuk!!! Our bill was $101.58 for 3 meals and 3 drinks. I'm so disappointed. Will never go back.
I so wanted to love this place. Maybe at night it's lit. But during the day it's a tear 😢 drop. Service good. Nachos were more then enough for 5 ppl. The meat that was on the nachos were cold. Reminds me of the same quality of meat that taco bell has. Atmosphere very nice sat outside looking at the ocean.
I must say the place is very nice. The atmosphere is some of the best. It's kinda like a cheeseburger in paradise, but better because it's actually on the water. The food, though, was over fried. At least my fish and the kids' chicken tenders. The fries were super crunchy, too. And my drink was definitely stiff. Usually I would like that but it was like 2 pm on a Tuesday. Other than that, the tarter sauce was super good. The shark sauce was good. The onion rings were good. The servers were fantastic. And they have cornhole outside, so that kinda makes up for it. All in all, I'd definitely go back for a drink or 3.
The food was good and they attempted to give good service but fell short. The restaurant was empty yet it took over 10 min to get our initial drinks. Then they told us they had drinks from kids in a led lighted base glass but neglected to tell us that there was a 6$ charge for the glass. The food was served but without cutlery, we had to get some on another table (as mentioned there where only about 2 other customers so plenty of empty tables). I still have the waitress a 10% tip because I believe in tipping. The waitress did have a nice personally but really there was no excuse for the sub par service.
1st timer here and I'll say it wasn't bad. The food was descent not much seasoning throughout our dishes. It was a wait getting our food also but appreciated the freshness. We ordered fish tacos, shrimp tacos, beef nachos, loaded fries and drinks. Everything was overpriced for the basic food experience.
We got beer and I got a Bloody Mary and my husband got a Beacher I don't remember the name. The drinks were fantastic except at $11 each they were in small plastic cups. Half the size of cocktails we normally order. And I'd like to say at $11 each, you can't afford glass?? I got nachos. Typical. He got fish and chips with onion rings substituted. It looked great and he ate every bite. I haven't seen him eat a whole meal in years. Between drinks and food.....2 beers each, 1 cocktail each, nachos and fish and chips. With tip...$110. Most expensive meal we have ever had. Well .. cool place. Great small drinks. Not a repeat experience.
Food was okay. I think the the one at Hollyood Beach in Margaritaville taste better. Food was very expense for 3 people 200 with tip. Salad was 20 and and salmon 35 to add. We don't mind to pay but the quality was okay but then again that is most places on the beach in Florida. Only reason I gave the atmosphere two starts is beach the seating in the back is very unlevel. They should correct that.
Meh, I wasn't terribly thrilled at all. The nachos were decent, my husband's 2 tacos with chips and salsa were okay. My chicken dish over rice with a slice of pineapple and yum yum sauce was okay. Service could have been better. Drinks were light. Personally wouldn't recommend, and wouldn't visit again. We were just passing thru, it's definitely not on the must came back list.
Definitely would not go back, it was cool to experience once but not a wide variety on menu. We got the peel shrimp appetizer my bf got the poke bowl and I got the coconut shrimp with salad. We also got 3 drinks and our total was around 100… so this place is also on the costly side and the food isn’t all that special. Our service was good i believe his name was Sam, or Sammy. Kept checking in on us and got us our refills.
We went here this afternoon before we hit the beach to get some quick lunch. We got there right at open and it was very quiet, which was very nice. The workers didn’t seem eager to help get us seated. We got seated on their nice outdoor seating loved the view and atmosphere outside right along the beach. Their food was alright - it has a lot of seafood and not too many options if you aren’t big on seafood, but none the less there were options. We tried purchasing something from the gift shop and the lady still hadn’t had the till up and running after being open for an hour. Overall the atmosphere is the best part about this place!
The food here was genuinely delicious and the flavors were spot on. Unfortunately, service was very slow, it took about 25 minutes to receive a drink, and when I asked about it, I was told they were still waiting on it, which i understand it was busy, but there was no apologies until i received my drink about 5-10 minutes later. I also found a large piece of plastic in my food, which was disappointing because it was delicious, and was enjoying it before i found the plastic. I’d still recommend the food itself and we most likely will come back, but I hope the service and attention to detail improve.
My review of this location is mixed. We are here from NC for a football tournament. After the game I called and spoke with assistant GM Maria looking for a reservation for about 30 people. She was very nice over the phone asked me where we wanted to be, and initially I said outside on the beach. Once we arrived the men said they wanted to be inside to watch the Buffalo/Denver game I made that request to Maria and she quickly jumped into action to accommodate that request also. We got the initial 30 people seated but more of the team and their families began to arrive. Maria accommodated everyone that was a part of the team and kept us in the same area which I appreciate big time. Here’s where it gets a little muddy for me as I checked in with all of the other tables everyone else immediately were able to order regular drinks, alcoholic drinks, appetizers etc with their respective servers. It was about 15/20 minutes before the table I was at with a group of moms was able to order water. I don’t want to ruin the great job Maria did with accommodating everyone so what I’ll say is the server we had at the mom table may have been overwhelmed but we did not receive good service. It was obvious that our food had been sitting before it arrived at the table it was lukewarm at best, we had a spill by a toddler we asked multiple times to be cleaned by the server and finally we had to ask Maria to get it cleaned up and she immediately sent someone to clean it up so no one fell. The server seemed irritated with any requests we made at the table as far as condiments, napkins etc: Bills came out several were incorrect, everyone else with us had cashed out and was outside waiting on a mom table of 7. Cashing out was a 45 minute process, to the point where a few of us gave our tickets to Maria to be cashed out because the server was struggling. Again our one table is the only table that had issues everyone else had great servers, food came out timely, good service, food was good, no issues cashing out. So overall the large party experience was great and Maria did an awesome job accommodating us.
This restaurant has a beautiful waterfront location, which makes the atmosphere really enjoyable. We started with the taco nachos as an appetizer, and they were absolutely amazing—I wish I had taken a picture. For my entrée, I ordered the crab cake sandwich. The crab cake itself was good, and the French fries were very good as well. However, the sauce that came with the sandwich didn’t pair well and unfortunately took away from the overall meal. I would definitely visit again and try a different menu item because the food quality overall seemed promising. I think we may have drawn the short end of the stick with service while sitting in the outside area. That said, I don’t want to discredit the restaurant, as I don’t believe the service is always like that. One thing to note: the tap water wasn’t great, so you may want to bring your own bottle of water or purchase bottled water there.
Disappointing all around. Food was not great (buffalo chicken dip had almost no chicken, was all queso and hot sauce). My son had tacos and asked for a different side and they gave him chips, not what he asked for. Taco had a tiny amount of meat. My meal was OK, crab cakes, but again nothing special. My husband got the Caribbean burger and said it was good. Waitress messed up several times and we had to wait a while for our check. Atmosphere was basically a sports bar, was expecting Jimmy buffet music but all we could hear were football games. Really not horrible but I would never go back.
The food was amazing, but unfortunately the service was unforgivable. We sat with empty cups for 20 minutes before we got our second round of drinks. My wife discovered a 5 inch piece of PLASTIC in her food, and was offered a remake, but there was NO offer of a partial refund or getting that plate for free. Business 101 is to offer at least that plate for free for that kind of mistake. Our waitress was great and apologized and told several other employees, but I guess not one of them thought it was important enough to bring it up to a manager. Atmosphere and food were a 10/10, but felt very undervalued as a customer overall.
Visiting from out of town and wanted just a place to grab a beer and watch a college game. Coming in they were super on it, asking what game we wanted to watch and what TV we wanted to sit near. The establishment was not busy for 3pm on a Saturday during biketoberfest. Our waitress was soft spoken but cheery. She was also negligent under the guise of being “overwhelmingly busy”. We all saw the interior of the restaurant and it was not. She only acknowledged us in passing while carrying the same tray of dirty dishes at least twice. We ordered apps and didn’t need much other than a refill. The restaurant did start to get busier but was still at 1/3 capacity. It took half and hour for us to get our checks and we had to ask for our cards back - who knows how “busy” she would have been. If you want timely service and to have actual customer service maybe not here.
We went to happy hour at the Landshark and ordered what we thought were $4.50 domestic drafts and a $7.00 wine. However, when we got the bill I noticed that we were charged $7.75 for the beers and $9.00 for wine. When we questioned it, the bartender said well you ordered a large draft and it is the smaller size that is on special and apparently the wine was not considered part of the special either. I feel that a good staff person should have pointed out the fact that what we ordered was not part of the advertised "happy hour". Just beware that they post this sign to lure people in and then hit you with higher prices. I was not impressed with how they do business.
Ordered two orders of tacos and paid for priority delivery, total $70! Price gouging for Race Day? Waited over an hour and a half. No one ever answered the phone after calling numerous times to cancel the order. First of all, who charges $23+ dollars for 2 fish tacos, some stale tortilla chips and a cup of salsa? Sorry your kitchen was backed up, but at least answer the phone instead of holding me hostage for tacos that I could’ve cooked myself in the two hours it took for them to get here. My Uber Eats driver waited for an hour, so don’t blame them. Get it together people.
I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment with the treatment my family and I received at your Daytona Beach location on Saturday, November 1st. What was meant to be a joyful family gathering turned into an upsetting and humiliating experience due to the conduct of your staff. My son traveled from Orlando with his pregnant wife and my 82‑year‑old mother to meet us for lunch at your restaurant. He paid $30 for beach parking with the intention of enjoying the beach after our meal. My husband, grandson, and I drove from St. Augustine and parked in the restaurant’s lot. When we attempted to meet my son and assist my elderly mother up the stairs connecting the beach to the restaurant, we were aggressively blocked by a security guard named Bill. Despite my repeated explanations that we were dining at LandShark and that I only needed to help my mother, the guard accused us of intending to misuse the parking lot. His tone was rude, dismissive, and intimidating—especially inappropriate in front of my young grandson. I was carrying only a purse, we were all fully dressed, and there was no indication that we planned to stay at the beach. Nevertheless, he escalated the situation, creating unnecessary conflict and distress. When I sought assistance from the manager, I was met with indifference. Rather than listening with empathy or attempting to resolve the issue, the manager dismissed my concerns with a “I don’t care” attitude. This lack of professionalism compounded the disrespect we had already endured. We fully understand the need to prevent beachgoers from misusing the restaurant’s parking lot. However, there are far more effective and respectful ways to enforce such policies. Treating paying customers as if they are dishonest, intimidating them in front of children, and disregarding their legitimate concerns is unacceptable. As a result of this experience, we chose not to dine at LandShark and instead went to a neighboring restaurant, where we were treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, this incident has left us with no desire to return to your establishment. I urge you to review your staff training and customer service policies. Security measures should never come at the expense of basic respect and hospitality. Families like mine should feel welcome, not harassed, when choosing to dine at your restaurant.
Really really plain. For the price and flavor I will give it like a 2 😅 they need to learn how to cook a salmon and what do you mean the happy hour doesn't apply on the table? Just at the bar, thas the griddiest thing I have been told in a restaurant 💀
