Our waitress appeared to be having a rough day but she took care of us. My wife and I had lunch specials and they were very good - and reasonably priced.
The food was delicious. Our server was nice and worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Nice selection of food.
AWESOME STAFF THANKS GUYS!!! I was Greeted with a smile and acknowledged by name, entire staff was top notch and food was ready and hot when I walked in to pick up my delivery... thanks for making my job stress Free!!!
Went there for dinner with the family and even though we had a big group our waiter did a great job keeping up with us all (refills and stuff) The food was great. Overall it was a great experience!
Daniela was very attentive, she never let our drinks go low. I am extremely pleased with her service. And hospitable.
I'm from out of town and this was a little taste of home. Adrian the bar tender is a wizard at his job. Atmosphere was kinda loud but not distracting.
The mixed fajitas (Chicken/Beef/Shrimp) were awesome! Beer was cold, and the service was great! The best part was having dinner with my dad!!
I have to change my last review. Restaurant looks dirty and there were flies all over the restaurant. If you want to eat here you have to go with all the time possible. They made me wait 25 mins to take the order and almost an hour for my meals to be ready. I kept asking and it seems that the more I ask the longer they will take to make my order.
Everything was superior, our waiter Andrew was very professional and cared about his customers. His recommendations for a main course were right on.
The most beautiful, most tender, most perfect, ungodly delicious steak I’ve ever had in my life. May the person that made my avocado grilled steak be forever blessed with happiness. I would add a pic but it’s gone 😊
Quick stop here while passing by. Busy Sunday service, but service was still decent and food was good.
My late husband and I went there quite frequently and since his passing , I am keeping up the tradition. Why, the food is excellent and so is the service! Kudos to every one!!!!
Elvira is amazing, and takes care of her customers
I went to this restaurant for a late lunch with my husband as we celebrated our anniversary all day. We had the chips and dip and added guacamole. It was very good. I had the chicken enchilada soup and loved it. My husband had the potato soup and said it was not as good as he thought it would be. The highlight of the meal was the waitress, who also worked the bar, and made an awesome strawberry margarita on the rocks. It was the best margarita I'd had in awhile. My husband had the regular margarita on the rocks and loved it. Last but not least, we came to Chili's to use the free dessert offer as part of the birthday month reward. We chose the key lime pie and it was bigger that it looked in the photo and was quite delicious. The service was great and they also had a good military discount.
Wanted to say thank you to our waiter for being absolutely outstanding. I stopped by yesterday with my grandmother, for her birthday and with my grandfather. Our server was the most patient person ever. Even though my grandmother complained about everything from the temperature to the ribs being too big to eat, he maintained his reserve and did an awesome job. I don't remember his name but he attended is at table 26 around 1:30pm. Thank you for making her birthday a great one.
I love the staff here! Ive doordashed here and they get the order ready and out to me right away. The are extremely polite and respectful to everyone and the food is also very delicious I've came with my family and we had dinner one time inside the Chili's. It was a very happy uplifting fill inside to it
I only wrote this review to let everyone know that Jesus is arguably the best waiter I’ve ever had. The food was good and all that, but he made our experience amazing. He does such a great job of being attentive without being annoying. He was personable and funny as well. He was just genuinely himself and I appreciated it so much so that I felt I needed to go out of my way to leave this here. Thank you Jesus! (Your friends who are running a marathon tomorrow lol)
Everything was great. We were promptly greeted by a friendly staff and then seated in a comfy booth. A awesome server helped with our order. Two more staff helped bring out our drinks a day food. Wow! A+. GREAT JOB EVERYONE 👏 👍 👌.
We ordered some food to go for the first time from Chili's and it was great! We ordered two 3 for 10 meals and ended up to about $26 with extra dipping sauces but wow, the service was faster than the service you get inside the restaurant. None of the items we ordered were cold and it was a lot of food for a good price. Highly recommend you try the food To Go.
Great food great staff very friendly and fast service. We left Apple bees we waited 20 minutes seated and no one came by to serve us. We left ended up at Chilrs great choice. We will never ever go to Apple bees in Del Rio extremely bad service.
Service has always been good here. The food is also good. Del Rio doesn’t have much beyond fast food, so this is one of the better options in town with a menu. I’ve been to Chili’s in bigger cities where they don’t care as much. This place gives Chili’s a good name. I think wait staff in Del Rio is just really friendly too, and it counts a lot here.
Food was great, fresh and hot. The waitress was a rock star! Marissa definitely made the experience very enjoyable and made sure keep up regardless of the rush they had.
Had a great visit here. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive. The food was sooooop good. Would definitely go again.
We happened to stop at Chili's because there was no cell or wifi where we were camping and I wanted to watch a college football game (Aggies lost to Alabama). Chili's had several screens and we had walked in at kickoff time, but none were tuned to the game I was interested in. The hostess went to work on getting one of the screens tuned into the game. We enjoyed our drinks, got great food, and watched our team get beat.
Great service. Working as a team, the servers worked hard to make our dinner perfect. Servers seemed happy to be there and happy to help. Good food at good prices. Wonderful desserts. Good free parking. Attractive restaurant that always seems clean.
Food is always great here and the staff is very warm and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite spots to grab lunch or dinner in Del Rio!
Took my mother there for lunch, she loves their food and the menu.
Logan was a fantastic waitress. Whatever she's making, she deserves a raise.
We’ve lived in Del Rio for over four years and have visited Chili’s countless times, but our last two visits were truly something special thanks to Logan (I hope I got her name right!). She is an absolute bundle of joy. Her positivity, kindness, and genuine warmth completely transformed our experience. Logan has that rare combination of professionalism and natural charm that makes you feel welcomed and valued the moment she walks up to your table. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does, and it shows in every interaction. We honestly left both visits talking about how exceptional she was. With an attitude like hers, she’s going to go incredibly far in life. Chili’s is lucky to have her, and we’ll definitely be asking for her every time we come back!
Great service. Especially Elvira she was working hard to make sure everyone was taken care of.
Great service Great food and super good margaritas!
One of the coldest days of the year, my husband and i wanted hot soup!! We got it at Chili’s!! Both of us ordered the Bottomless soup, salad, and chips! Each dish brought to us was fantastic! Ashley, our personable, sharp waitress brought out an ample basket of chips with a tasty salsa. I chose the chili (an upgrade for $1); my husband chose the enchilada soup. First though we were served a big salad with spring greens, red onions, tomatoes and delicious blue cheese dressing. Then out came our soup choices. I wanted to ask the chef the recipe for the “Texas” style chili (no beans), it was so good. My husband enjoyed thoroughly the enchilada soup so that that was my second “cup” of soup. Thank you, chili’s staff, for a great cold-day, lunch dining experience- no ski lodge, but it acted like it!!!
There was a handful of customers eating with plenty of booths to be sit at. Took 15mins to be noticed and seated. Literally looked like nobody was working there. Food was great though
It’s the atmosphere that attracts me the most. The wait staff treat you like one of their own friends. Not to mention that they’re also VERY attentive as well. Plus great food & cold beer. 👍👍
Very easy to navigate through their website. Ordering was extremely easy. Prices are great. As soon as I parked someone came out to greet me and delivered my food the food was fresh and hot. Great service
Place is clean and staff were respectful and helpful. I appreciated the birthday surprise for my sister. Food met expectations and was satisfying. Only thing was it was pretty dark inside
Del Rio Chili's delivered great tasting food tonight but slowly. They were short handed but worked to serve everybody. New Years Day most sit down restaurants were closed here, so they were slammed. Staff handled things admirably.
It's nice when you have a chain restaurant that you can depend on (no matter where you go) to have friendly service, and excellent menu and drinks! This location did not disappoint!
Service was great. Food was good and came out fast. Only minor delay was waiting to be seated even though there were many open tables.
Haven't been to a Chili's in about 10 yrs, decided to go to this Chili's since we're new to the area. Wow, food was good, service a tad slow at first, but friendly. This may be one of our regular "go to" restaurants from now on...
This is a solid Chili's. Looking at their overall rating on maps I think it's inaccurate. We've been a bunch of times and the service is above average, and my only complaint about the food is it's kind of greasy but what do you expect. We've had very few issues here, if any, just slightly slow if they get packed but they deserve a higher rating.
I like Chili's, I can say the only problem on rare occasions would be the wait for food, our servers have always been so great and maybe it's kitchen staff but the food can take a while to get to our tables, it is worth the wait but other than that, great place to dine in! We had a family dinner for my daughter and everything was perfect our server remembered our drinks and that goes a long way!
Very clean and friendly staff. Went for a birthday dinner. I ordered the cajun pasta and it was delicious and could have easily shared with a other person.
This is a great location! The kitchen is up to all the usual Chili's standards and the front end is helpful, friendly, and efficient. It was a great pleasure to eat here. I will update this again if things change, but we had terrible service last time we went. Thank God the kitchen was still good!
The wait was long considering i wanted to sit at the bar and there were only two people at the bar. It’s one thing if you are short staffed, but they’ve seated tables. Food was subpar this time
Been to chili’s on multiple occasions and they average out to 3/5 stars. Have had some 1/5 experiences and some 4/5 ones. Bartender has told us they don’t serve whiskey while I’m staring at a bottle of whiskey on her shelf. On multiple occasions our server has flat out left the restaurant and we finished dinner with someone else. Burgers have been a disappointment multiple times but I have had a food burger there. They really can’t handle large groups well at all, but there aren’t many other options here either. Meh.
Sadly due to our current economy they never have enough staff and service suffers as well as running out of basic items you can go buy at Walmart. Should never be a Chili's without Hamburgers??? I feel sorry for us and the staff.
Only a few good staff members. Some managers are a bit rude. Over all its 3 stars because of the attitude of some of the managers. Cant lead a good crew without a hood boss.
This is a casual setting... Lot of d¡Ck hungry waitresses though. Tone down on the visiting with other staff members, also a lot of the staff members kept walking around not doing anything. (overly staffed) drinks were handled improperly with fingers around drinking area and please next time keep the lemons out of the drinks
Not happy with the food, it wasn't exactly good, but passable, I suppose. I dined in with my sister and my niece as well as my mother on her lunch break on her birthday, you see. I detailed out a note of what my order is due to being born deaf, they screwed up my order, only bringing half of my order and not the rest, even though I was detailed, so I was kinda upset about it (even when I tried not to be), trying not to overreact. My niece gagged on her food and had to get a different one. The food, after I informed them is missing arrives WAY later, tastes stale, again subpar -_- another further reason why I don't go to this restaurant. The only reason I came was for my mother's birthday and she chose here.
Place needs better service. Music selection needs to be updated. Bartenders are not very friendly, not attentive, and lack in the looks department. For a small town, they should have a better outdoor environment.
Well. Had fajitas at chili’s. Not advisable. Get a burger. Had 2 servers. One didn’t know what the other was doing.
My last experience with this place was terrible, so it had been YEARS since I've been. They brought back physical menus, so that was a plus. First off the first thing I noticed was that it took a while to get anything, even tho our waitress was very attentive. She was also very weird about serving us drinks, its chilis, margaritas are half the menu! (I only had 2, btw) We waited a while for our food, but it came out hot and delicious! The seating was a tad squished, we were lucky and had a booth, but the tables next to us were so close together, they had a hard time getting in and out of their seats, it was hard to watch. But over all I seen a huge improvement from the last time we came. Ill probably come back soon.
I haven't been to a chili's in a while. Had two 22 ounces modelos, they must have had zero alcohol. The food was extremely salty, everything in it tasted as of someone emptied a salt shaker on it. The waiter was very attentive, he even prepared a house margarita from scratch for us (which is typically premixed).
We waited almost ten minutes for Wait Staff to greet us and seat us. No one was at front desk. Finally one of the seated customers told their waiter that someone needed to seat us!
What's the point of having tons of staff if half of them are just looking around or hanging out with each other? Stood at the door for 10 minutes before I was greeted. 10 more til I was seated. 20 more before somebody took my order.(after I complained) 25 minutes later the server came by to tell me she just checked on my food and it should be right out. 30 MINUTES AFTER THAT MY FOOD FINALLY CAME OUT!!!! Food was actually pretty darn good or this would be a one star rating.
Ordered tortilla soup but chips were really stale. Waitress didn't seemed to concern when I asked her for a new bowl with fresh chips. Got my new bowl and soup was much better with the fresh chips. Service to refill our drinks is still lacking.
I have been here 3 times lately. All 3 times food slow to come (30 mins or more). 2 of 3 times something on my order was wrong. 3 of 3 times waiter had to apologize for something. Ziosk computer at my table was broken 2 of 3 times. 2 of 3 times price of a bar item was higher on the bill than what I was told. Food was good once I finally got it. This was strike 3 and I won't be back as there are much better options in del rio.
Food took too long, got food at different times. We were celebrating a birthday, told two waitresses about the birthday. Did not get a free dessert. Waitress said they were too busy.
Food was the "tolerable" quality you forgot to expect because you only eat at a Chilis once a year, because its not worth repeating till you, once again, forget the 2:5 it is. Beyond the food, the C.S. was awful! No one in their right mind wants to spend 2.5hrs in a Chili's if they aren't there specifically to watch a game. The only redeeming factor (2nd star) is that I know it's my fault for choosing to eat here.
After ordering, our salads finally were served 45 min. later and our food 2 min. behind. Therefore, our food was getting COLD while we ate our salads...plus there was no room on the table and we resorted to using chairs to place our meals on. Our waitress NORMA did wonders despite the kitchens performance!
Ordered a chicken fried steak. And looks nothing like a chicken freid steak. Looks like left over meat put together to look like a chucken fried steak. I've eaten there before and i have never seen a chicken fried steak like this. Not worth the money i paid for. Huess when you order to go they dont care cuz by the time you get home. Your bot gonna want to go back.
Service has gone down. We were seated and sat for more than 20 minutes as the young man assigned to our table would look at us and keep going. Another waitress said she would take care of us but we were informed that the items I called to see if they had before going were not available. We left and went to another restaurant that had more people and still served us quickly.
It took way too long for our food and when it came out the avocado was black from sitting under the heater. The burgers we were supposedly waiting on were barely warm. The staff was really nice, but nice can only go so far when you wait 30+ minutes for food.
The food is always consistent and good, however service is a hit and miss. Part of it could be staffing issues and part of it is just the disarray I believe. On the upside their margaritas are good and fajitas after consistent. Down side is the cleanliness of the restaurant. This last visit I saw them cleaning tables with a dirty rag that sits at the host table. This is but appropriate cleanliness for a restaurant. Second and most alarming is the lack of condition and cleaning of the men's bathroom. Check out the photo I'm posting here. Urine all over the floor, dirty urinal, and holes in the wall. Come on Chili's you're better than that!
Well I went there for a ribeye and was told they were out. And I wish I wouldn't of agreed to sit at the bar, because I was sat next to 2 of the most annoying people I have ever met. It took over 30 minutes to get my food and then it was cold. I won't be back and I would not recommend anyone wasting their time going to this location. Really sad too. Because I ate the best steak I have ever had at the location in Kingman Arizona.
This was the worst Chili's I have ever been to. The waiter was MIA. Beer was hot and half foam. When it was finally plopped down in front of me it overflowed all over the bar in front of me. I couldn't get anything to mop it up for about 15min. Could not get attention to place order. Order came out wrong. Tablet would not work. I will never go back to this location. This location makes me not want to ever go back to another Chili's. Horrible!
Young server was rude. I asked for manager to look at how watery the salsa was and she/he said that was all the salsa. I asked for guacamole and it was salty. I was still charged for everything. The family that was sitting behind us said "she is so rude" and got up and left. She was a thin girl and was arguing on her headset. She was talking to some lady friends on another table. I was in a date and this was the worst experience. And I paid for that.
We waited for an hour having to order our food it was a cali Turkey sandwich, salad, and quesadillas having to wait an hour and never getting it is horrible. I could of made that stuff at home not even 20 minutes having to see another group get seated 10 minutes after get sat down order their food and getting it in 5 minutes horrible and we were the only group not even getting a plate of nothing. The place was not even half packed.
The service sucked I love chili’s but I most definitely will not be going back. We received our food and asked for ketchup and Tabasco I never got it until other people left I got it from there table . And then we ordered the cheesecake and never got it until we finally left. Oh. BTW the place was not full
Place was half full and the service was poor. I was sitting at the bar and had to flag down one of the two bartenders to get a drink refill! Then I also have a rewards account and the bartender tells me that since my salsa and chips doesn't show in the computer I must be doing something wrong! She also tells me that she isn't suppose to give me the chips and salsa if it's not in the computer. Well, I guess she hasn't seen their advertising or the stickers in the front door as you walk in. It doesn't even say that. Then the bartender tells me that she doesn't have this problem with any other customers so I need to call and get the problem fixed!! I guess she doesn't know how to do her job, so I have to do it for her. Poor service and they weren't even that busy!!!
Waited fifteen minutes for a beer while the bartender casually chatted. The server blames the staff for not running out food and the manager avoids you after one interaction. Worst Chili's experience ever.
We live in Del Rio so unfortunately we don’t have many choices. We like Chili’s so we keep giving them another chance. After today we won’t be back. The SERVICE is off the charts HORRIBLE. Every single time without fail. Went for lunch and 1.5 hours later, still no food. Left as the food was coming out. The lady asked if we wanted to try to eat as much as we could. We said no and asked for a to go box. They didn’t offer a discount and we didn’t have time to ask for a manager. The owner will be receiving a letter. Don’t waist your time here. Especially if your white. I hate to say that but It’s gotta be a racial issue because it happens every single time without exception
Was from out of town. Stopped to have a bite since we had not eaten at a good place in a few days. Well only 1 person was served first, he ate and the rest of us had not been served. Then everyone got served and the last person didnt until everyone else was done. Slow service. People behind us left since they never got attended. Manager said " I will talk to waiter since he has been messing up all day" then a group of people who was hosting a party that was there before us had not been served and half of there party was missing food that by the time we left they still were not served. Worst Chili's location ever.
Some of the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Had to ask 3 different times for my drink and never got it. Food was missing items. Also had to wait almost an hour for a table of 2 when half the restaurant was empty
I've ordered out and every single time they screw it up. They forgot the quesadillas on the quesadilla salad! When I called and asked them to fix it, the manager said he would mail some coupons. Never even received the coupons. Just one example of the many things they can't do right. The only reason they are still in business it because there is almost nothing else here.
My daughter had asked for a table but was told to wait. Hostess walked away and came back by that time a group of girls had just walked in. The hostess sat the group first and told my daughter she was going to put her on the waiting list. But my daughter decided to leave and then another group came in and the hostess decided to sit them too without putting them on the waiting list. That's BAD customer service!
Bad service! We came two time and was the same think. Take around 40 mn to give you the food. And the waitress do not check if you need water etc. The chicken wasn't cook right. We need to ask to cook it again and take another 20 mn. Very slow service. Never come back again.
Terrible food and expensive. I ordrred the beef fajitas for $1 extra and they charged me $2 extra. When I refused and pay the extra $1, the young egotistical manager called the police on me even though I was willing to pay full bill minus $1 charged to me twice. I will never go back there again and I tell everybody else the same. That $1 extra they got from me cost them thousands of dollars in future business that they will now not get ...
Went for dinner, we sat there for more than 20min and they never bother to get our drinks we just got up and walked out. Went to Apple bee's and we were eating within 15min awesome food and great service. Very disappointed with chilis.
Worst Father’s Day meal ever. Ordered take out. Got there at ETA time, waited additional 30min. Had to go in 2x & was met w/curt staff saying it wasn’t their job. “I’m the bartender”. They Forgot 2 drinks, brought them out. Got home, realized they also forgot chili (which was half of my meal), called, went back, picked up. It was cold, looked like it was made 3days ago, thick, salty, too disgusting to eat. Hubs even tried it & said Not to eat it. Spent $10 on a side salad. Dad’s steak was cold & over cooked. Kids both had cold fries & chicken tenders that were the smallest coldest I’ve ever seen-didn’t finish them. We won’t return. This is the 3rd poor performance Chilis.
Arrived at 7pm. Waited til 8pm to be seated. Sat at the table waiting forever for refills By 10 pm our food wasn't even made so we cancelled what we ordered and left. Very, very disappointed! So short handed and I get it!... I don't think I'd be upset if I would have seen the manager put on an apron and help.... didn't even know she was there till we paid the bill and the waiter said.. oops! you paid the wrong bill.. really Christina... That was your bad!!!. No need to make your customer feel like we're thieves when your are the ones handing out the bills. Shame on you for disgracing the Chili's grill & bar name. Your customer courtesy fell 100% Chili's🌶️. The bartender was amazing! Had to throw that out there! Celebrating Johnny's birthday tomorrow... Somewhere else 🤷
Took leave and came here with my family during thanksgiving week but we were sat right by a door and my mother was cold as it was constantly being opened and closed so we asked who I assume was a manager (as he had headgear/a headset) to move us somewhere else. He didn’t look happy and advised us that we’d get a different server to which I replied “oh that’s fine” and he replied “for you” under his breath. I understand that moving a whole table is extra work but there was no need for shade we didn’t move for any dumb reason it’s the winter and that is the coldest seat here for my mother and my little sisters. The only tip you get from me is to please work on your attitude and your hairline sir 🥱.
Our food took forever to get and it was cold.we where told that the manager was going to talk to us but never showed up very bad experience
I wish we could give negative stars. After waiting in line for an hour to be seated. We then had to wait another hour before our food was out. Our waitress was constantly MIA and could careless if we had our drinks still or not. My husband and fathers beers were hot as heck. The table who arrived 45 mins after us received their food before we did. My husband then flagged our waitress down and asked her if our order was even placed and we needed drinks. Come to find out the waitress never put our order in and came and told us it was something with the system. We will not be back. After almost 3 hours of horrible customer service and no food, no way would we ever recommend this establishment!!!
Worst dining experience ever. No customer service. I was given the wrong salad dressing. I asked 3 times for the correct dressing. By the end of the meal still no dressing...the soup was cold and watered down. I used to like Chili's but not anymore. I absolutely do NOT recommend the Chili's in Del Rio, Texas.
This was terrible! It took over 35 minutes to get our food and it was lukewarm. Our French fries got there when we were finished so we brought them home to the dogs. The payment machine at our table did not work and we had to ask for our waitress twice. The second time I stood 1 foot away from the "seating person" while he was looking at his phone (or something) for at least 2 minutes before he acknowledged me. But he did go get our waitress. The whole meal experience was very disappointing.
I have tried to eat here 3 times with my wife and I have never had worse service in my life. The first 2 times we tried, they were busy and understaffed so we left. This last time we stood at the hostess stand for a good 5 minutes and watched at least 3 of the staff look up at us and continue to clean without acknowledgement of our presence. Then I heard 2 of the servers in the back arguing about who had to serve us. I will never try again. Chili's should be ashamed to have such poor service at this location. Even the bartender didn't say hello as he walked by with food for another table.
Got the sampler tray. The burgers were over cooked. Everything else greasy. Won't be ordering anything again
Unacceptable! Manager had a attitude and raised her voice at my 4 year daughter, the food was good but her attitude made it a bad experience. The managers name was Priscilla, she had glasses and tattoos.
Whew, chile… Let me tell y’all something this was a poor excuse for customer service. I recently visited this establishment hoping for a nice dining experience, but unfortunately, it was far from that. When we were first seated, our waiter seemed friendly and attentive. But that quickly changed. After taking our order, we barely saw him again. He didn’t check on me or my guest even once after the food arrived. Here’s where things really went downhill: I ordered a steak and asked for steak sauce. Sounds simple, right? Well, I waited over 30 minutes for that steak sauce while my steak sat on the table getting cold. Not only was it frustrating, but it completely ruined the meal. We kept trying to get someone’s attention, but it felt like we were being ignored. No updates, no apologies, just radio silence. Eventually, I had enough. I asked to speak to a manager. To their credit, they did offer a complimentary discount due to the poor service, but instead of truly taking accountability, the manager gave me a half-hearted excuse for the situation. Something about them being short-staffed which may be understandable, but the way it was handled was not. Look, I understand things happen. But there’s a basic level of service that every customer deserves, especially when you’re spending your hard earned money. This experience was completely unacceptable for any restaurant, regardless of price point. Needless to say, I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant or professional dining experience
I used to order the Quesadilla explosion salad so figured I go get one. Its not on the menu anymore so I got thecloset thing I could find on the menu. 45 min later this is what I got. Chicken wasn't even hot. I guess they had to grow the lettuce. Bar tender and waiter didn't even acknowledge how long I had been waiting for a salad that should literally take 90 seconds to put together. Go to Chick-fil-A instead. What a waste of time.
