This is not just a restaurant but a full experience. From the moment you walk in, you can see and feel the artistic vibe of the owner, Davide. From the reservation tag on the table, to the dessert, everything is taken care of, with all the small details. The food is beyond delicious, fresh and of high quality, with a mix of taste and surprise which made us come back a second time just after the first one. The atmosphere is cozy, curated and perfect for a night of fine dining in a busy, touristic area. This place, with its staff, it’s a real gem. You can engage in interesting conversations with the owner, while listening to light background music and sweet birdies living in the garden where you dine. I can’t really say how much we loved this place and how much it contributed to make or weekend unforgettable. If you are in the area you can’t skip this place. For those of you interested in pricing, it’s absolutely in line with what they offer and other sites in the area, actually much better for what you get! Thank you so much for this experience! Absolutely recommend it!

Very cool place with interior and design, the service is fantastic, we were very warmly welcomed and our dishes and their presentations were like a piece of art. Also, the art inside and in the back garden is pretty cool and unique, what an experience and will definitely go back for apericena...

The food was heavenly. Octopus with watermelon is beyond description of how good it was. Ambiance is wonderful with romantic garden atmosphere hidden from a busy touristic street. The wine recommendation was great, though at some point we saw some really good looking cocktails, which made us doubt our choices. We were lucky to find this fine dining place in a tourist focused town.

I would like to give Marabotto a four star to leave Marabotto room for improvement. Marabotto is one of the better restaurants we've experienced during our stay in Italy. However when the grade in Diano Marino is 4.6 anything below 5 is a negative review. And I really want to give Marabotto a positive review because they really do something different in a mono culture society. Ambience: The inner courtyard is nice and quiet. However it doesn't really utilize the potential of the area and it feels a bit unimaginative. The environment is posch and you could definitely go here for a celebratory dinner or date. Service: The service could have been better. However we got what we ordered and received some nice suggestions especially regarding the wine. The negative part was the energy. Simply not there for you but more for themselves. Food: This is where Marabotto outshines the competition. We ordered the Angus beef tartar and the Angus beef taco for starters and the Raw sea food platter for the main course to share. In other words Marabotto offered us three different kitchens on the same menu. The reason why I would want to give Marabotto a four star is that although they do deliver on a unique experience it falls short of making it magical. The beef tartar was a beef tartar with mustard and egg. Tasty but not anything special. The beef taco was a beef taco with pico de gallo. One you could expect from any taco shop. The sea food platter was on par with what you would get in an average sushi shop. So although it is impressive that Marabotto manages to serve quality dishes from other kitchens it doesn't manage to turn it into their own. Why not crush the taco shell on some raw cooked Angus beef with Italian herbs and chili. Why not glace thin slices of tuna with some Italian lemon vinaigrette. There was simply no fusion with the Italian kitchen and it wasn't that impressive considering the price or in line with the image the restaurant presents. Conclusion: Marabotto has great potential and deserves all the credit in the world for being brave and trying something new. However while they seem to have good chefs and seem to have the right venue, quality of ingredients and staff they simply fall short of creating an experience that stands out.

Very disappointing. The beef check was so overdone that it was hard to cut, tuna steak missed seasoning. Service is very slow. And to end all of that the staff put a smokescreen around the whole place to fight mosquitoes so now we all smell like chain smokers.
