Had a great Sunday Roast and dessert here, service was great and staff friendly. Atmosphere was lovely, locals chatty and dog friendly too. We would certainly return.

Absolutely 💯 what great place we only pulled in from the canal for a couple hours. to recharge our phones the guy was so welcoming. food we had was lovely and drinks too wish we'd moored up there for the night 🌙

Lovely pub next to the canal nestled discretely in a housing estate. Very friendly staff, nice food and well priced drinks. It's one of out favourite places to stop by after a day out with the dog.

First time to this little pub, read the reviews and all were stellar so thought I must try. Pub was steady with only a few customers, I noticed all had food. Very happy with the food we received tonight, the food came out quickly and everyone was happy with their meals! Service was brilliant, a gentleman served us and checked on us frequently and even brought our drinks to our table. Highly recommend, will be back again.

Moored up my boat outside the New Inn. The service, food and price is absolutely fantastic. This is a place I will definitely be stopping moor when passing on my boat.

We live onboard, we had guests (Godson and dog), we visited by boat, I was craving pub burger and chips, I didn’t want to cook so I treat us all. Our kind of place. Friendly owners, lovely food, big portions, good value, big pub garden and dog friendly! The lads were full after their supersized all day breakfasts, nice crispy bacon and properly cremated sausages! We will be back.

Superb view, great tasty meals, surprisingly good menu, friendly staff. A few bit of the interior could do with an update. A hidden gem for a decent above par family meal with a view.

Four of us went for tea & all had different meals. All the food was delicious & would definitely recommend. The staff were friendly & approachable. We will definitely go back again. Nice place at the side of the canal 🙂

We stopped off ok out way home after a day out. We were looking for some food and found the new Inn on an online search. I'm so glad we did as when we arrived, the setting is lovely over the canal. We quickly found a seat outside in the sun and downloaded the menu then went in to order. The staff where Friendly and helpful and the food soon arrived with us and it was delicious 😋. We will return to try other items on the menu for sure

Love a bit of kayaking, and with the pub sat literally at the side of the canal it was straight out of the canal and into the pub. Left the kayaks tied to the mooring points and had an amazing dinner. Staff are brilliant and so is the food! Will definitely visit again!!!

It's a great little pub on the canal, the food was great but it's a new menu & im sorry to say it's not changed for the better. The food is still cooked to a high standard but the menu is very limited. Glad to say that the beer is still top draw & is worth a look but let the staff know what you think of the menu 👍😁

Visited today to celebrate my son's 2nd Birthday. Have never been before but will definitely be returning. It's a lovely pub in a great setting on the canal side, which our table overlooked. The food was excellent and was freshly made. My wife had a pie but they didn't have an ingredient so offered her another ingredient so we knew that everything was homemade. The menu is good, with a wide range on offer. We have fussy waters in the family and the menu really catered for everyone. The staff member said they were short staffed but we didn't notice as they were very attentive and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. They were friendly and did everything to make sure we were happy. They also spoke to my little boy and he got his meal for free as it was his birthday. I would highly recommend this place. Fresh, homemade food, a family run atmosphere and perfect setting.

Excellent service with very friendly staff and owners. Great value for money with a lunch time deal and an evening deal (mon to fri) and loads of drinks deals every day.

A beautiful location, you can park your boat and eat your lunch 6ft away. It's a very nice pub indeed with very friendly staff and great food. Sadly parts of the car park resemble a motorcross track and dangerous for bikes, I skidded going in.

Great location and decent food

Called in for lunch on Saturday, we both had sausage, mash, yorky pud, peas & gravy, very nice for the price. Pleasant staff, very quiet, only diners in, right along side of the canal. Would visit again in the finer weather.

2 meals for £12 odd . Not bad at all . Clean plates all round . Nice canal walk then at new inn pub for food n drinks . Deffo go again . X

Have usually had a good experience at this pub. But there was a party of 10 of us last night and to be honest, the service was absolutely shocking, enough to put us off going again. The staff made zero effort to put a smile on their face and seemed really mardy and rude. The food was nice as always but we waited 20mins for someone to come and clear our table after eating. We tried to order desserts from the table but it seemed that nobody was interested in coming over, the manager acknowledged us, went over to a member of staff and you could see that she was moaning about coming over, so then another staff eventually came over by that time we had decided against deserts after waiting for ages. Not once did they come over and clear away our empty glasses or bottles. I know their job isn’t to wait on us hand and foot but they didn’t even clear a single glass and their service was dismal. Very disappointed in the service tonight.

Arrived by boat ready for a nice lunch And a member of your staff was so nasty we wanted the lunch meal with drink Food was ordered then told her drinks required she said you cannot do that I should the menu what says with drink She would Not change the order she said we should order drinks 1st But we had a drink I think that was wrong what she said IT ALSO SAYS NO SMOKING BUT TJERE WAS ASHTRAYS AND PLENTY OF SMOKERS GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT

Went for Christmas menu and the turkey was thin and tasteless, hard frozen sprouts, dry probably frozen roast potatoes which were burnt, hard frozen parsnips, soggy stuffing, under cooked pigs in blankets and the only fresh thing were the carrots which were the best on the plate. No Yorkshire, lacking homemade quality of a Christmas roast which you would expect. Told the Manager who seems uninterested and paid full price for a meal which was far below standard expected. Absolutely would not go back need to do home made fresh food not frozen.
