Yes, you will probably have to wait in line to get these babies.. They are fast and have wonderful donuts that are worth the wait!!
Best chocolate glazed donuts I've EVER had.
Best doughnuts and the apple fritters are of the chain.
Omg if you haven't tried Dripping Donuts Koliches, or Donuts - well its my recommendation that you must try them you wont be disappointed. Thats two thumbs up from Cindylu
This place has some killer donuts. The staff is awesome. The kolache's are amazing.
Love this place!! Best donuts in Austin! Lovely atmosphere!
Good quality baked goods and bottles drinks. My favorite are their kolaches. But by wary, they are busy and close somewhat early.
Cute place and delicious doughnuts and the like. Friendly staff are always there great local foods!
I've been coming here for a long time, I love it so much. Way better than big places like dunkin. A necessity if you're visiting dripping springs
Great customer service and the best donuts I've ever had!
I grew up in drip and would every now and then come here, EVERY SINGLE TIME, it was delicious, warm and just perfect. This place is to die for, that 1 star review is full of sht 🤣
Always fast and very friendly. Great selection and low prices. The kids beg me to come here every weekend. Highly recommended.
Soooooooo delicious!!! We drove from Kyle at 8am down 150 not realizing there wouldn't be food places and this place was a huge relief. The food was very yummy.
Always has great donuts and fast service. If you're going in the morning, be sure to plan a bit more time. They are packed.
Cute little donut shop, great friendly service and good selection. This is a special treat destination for my daughters. Cheap, too.
Great service from their manager Marcus. I was given the wrong drink, went back and he corrected the mistake right away and was very professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Great donuts, crossaint breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and more. Staff is always super friendly and they have a drive through window 😊
Get the sausage cheese and jalapeno kolache and the buttermilk donut with chocolate glaze. Life changing. The people are phenomenal as well.
Great local business with the best donuts in Dripping Springs.
Amazing kolaches that are a full meal. Everything in here tastes of delicious and the staff was fast and friendly!
Usually busy, but the drive thru line moves quickly. Food is fresh, I haven't experienced a "we've run out" situation yet.
Drippin Donuts are the real deal; they taste home-made! I don't know what goes into them, but they are a fresh and tasty every time! If you're having a cheat day on your diet, Drippin Donuts makes it worth the cheat!
I'm a big fan of low brow donuts and these are them. Complete with coffee that tastes vaguely like gasoline, and efficient, if sometimes grumpy service. This place is perfection.
Dripping Springs' only donut shop that I'm aware of -- they could coast along if they wanted to, but they don't! An impressive selection of donuts, plus kolaches and breakfast sandwiches. Don't see what kolache you're looking for? Ask 'em. They'll hook you up next time.
Great donuts and kolaches at good prices. Large variety of items, even including breakfast tacos, Red Bull and Yoo-hoo. My favorite donut place has been shipleys, but I think I found a new favorite
Absolutely delicious and fresh donuts with fabulous service. We went here every day on our trip. Can't wait to go back.
This place is absolutely perfect! They have extremely nice employees and their food is delicious, try the chocolate covered devils food donuts. it is so good!
There donuts remind me of the ones I got as a kid in the town I grew up in. Apple fritters rock.
they really do make some awesome Donuts I especially like the buttermilk which are also called old-fashioned or sour cream depending on where you are from. Good kolaches too, wife especially likes the jalapeno and cheese
Went on a Thursday morning and ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant in addition to donuts. I’ve been here for donuts before, and they’re good. This was the first time I got a breakfast croissant, and the croissant was packed with bacon! That was my kind of breakfast croissant! Super delish!
I hate this place, because of how good their donuts are. I try and only get them over few weeks to maintain some semblance of a strict diet. The old fashioned cake are my favorite.
Can't stay away from their kolaches
These people arrive at work 4:00 am or 5:00 am to make fresh donuts & kolaches for us every morning. And they still smile when I get there around 9:00 am. Thank you! Great food. Pick up plenty for you & your friends or coworkers!
I'm obsessed with donuts, whenever I visit a new place I sniff out the donut and pizza places! These are GREAT donuts! Their old fashioned donuts are incredible. Grab a hot kolache while you're there as well, they round out the sweet breakfast with a nice savory sausage!
Able to accommodate a large order on a whim. Their donuts are amazing. The kolaches left much to be desired unfortunately
We drive every Tuesday over 30 minutes out of our way round-trip just to get Drippin Donuts! My kiddos love the kolaches and sprinkle donuts. My husky loves the donut holes! Thanks for keeping us well sugared in the morning!
Loved their donut holes and my son loves their bacon, egg and ham croissant. It is convenient because they have a drive through so it is easy to make a quick stop before school drop off.
Dripping Donuts has the BEST melt in your mouth like cotton candy glazed donuts I’ve ever had. The big chain donut shops taste like old grease and the donuts crumble. The service is always great too!
These were AMAZING donuts! I had the vanilla cream filled powdered sugar donut, and I was dreaming about it until I could get it again a couple days later! We got 2 dozen donuts for a house full of people, and they were gone quickly. You have to stop here if you like donuts!
Although it is small inside, I was very happy with our purchases today. Some of the donuts tasted the same as other places but their Maple Eclair was the best Eclair that I have ever had. Prices are very reasonable and the staff was very warm and kind.
I have only been thru the drive thru about 5 times. They are polite, quick and always ask if I want my kolache warmed up. No I haven't had everything but the apple fritter, apple bear claw and sausage cheese and jalapeno kolache has been very good and I will keep coming back.
Used drive thru. Logan was incredibly helpful! Apple fritters were irresistible!
Yummy donuts and great service. Quaint little shop. I went at 8:30 and they were still fully stocked with donuts & kolaches. They also have a drive thu window
The donuts are always so fresh and super quick service!

I've never been to the actual store but my coworker brings them in and they are the best I've ever had. Very light and fluffy.
This is a local store and not a chain. The people working there are always kind and nice to deal with. The food is better then Dunkins or Shipley's. I drive out of the way to come here and support real people.
Every time we get a chance we stop in and grab some goodies! So yummy! We went in this weekend and the younger staff (both boy and girl) working the front were SO helpful and tentative!
Quick and friendly service. Small kolaches were delicious and were larger than expected. Donuts were also fresh and tasty. Will definitely return when I am in the area.
Walked in with the intent to buy two or three donuts, bought way more than that, I would say that I bought enough to last a few days, but I ate them all throughout one day. A dozen donuts, gone, and I want more. I have a problem, and I'm so happy this place helps me enable my problem. Tldr; these donuts are delicious, the young man who rung me up was extremely helpful and kind. I was last here Aug. 5th 2025
Totally empty when I walked in, as it was 11 ish in the am. 3 employee that I could see, all were cleaning something. Place is immaculate. As for the donuts, the product was light, and delicate. Flavors were great,. Nice variety. Excellent service. A very nice place !
I hadn’t been to Texas in almost 30 years. Flew to Austin for a wedding in dripping Springs. Found this delightful family owned donut shop. Lovely people and great donuts! We need donuts like this in northern Virginia!
Joyce is by far the best, as far as customer service she rocks. She brings wonderful feel to the store she greats me with a smile every time I go. The donuts are immaculate and my favorite place to go when I visit. Thank yall for always being awesome
The ladies here are a pleasure to visit with. The donuts are honestly addicting
Wow. First time visiting dripping spring. Great girls who work there. The FOOD amazing the bread is SO SWEET! Affordable pricing. They did run out of donuts but I know they must have been so good considering they ran out on Mother’s Day. Hope to visit again when I come back!

Great donuts and friendly, helpful staff. Good kolaches and chocolate milk, yummy!
My kids love this place! The donuts are good and most of the employees are friendly.
I really miss this donuts shop. I lived Dripping Spring few years ago and then returned to my home country Seoul. Korea. I have a bed momory in DR , it's ceder allergy , but i got a good momory also, it is Donuts in DR..... Plz bring me one!!
Great donuts, friendly and fast but still expect a line EVERY time. About 10min wait. Horrible parking. No lines. Hardley even a parking lot.
Great prices, friendly service. Tons of people there on a Saturday morning but got in and out quick. Jalapeno kolache was good.
Great service, fast and efficient. Got 2 donuts that were pretty good, not a huge fan of the filling but they were pretty good either way. Cute shop.
Remember that awesome donut shop from back when you were a kid? The one you and your dad would stop at on the way to go fishing to get a soda and a couple of donuts? Or the family would go grab a quick sugar rush together before hitting the highway on a road trip? This is that place. The donuts are all old fashioned, hand made and awesome. There are no shortcuts here. Each carbohydrate is lovingly hand crafted to excellence, and priced so cheap your heart would stop before you reached $10. If you are ever driving through Dripping Springs and looking for a flashback breakfast, do yourself a favor and stop in. They are on the county side of 290west, a couple of blocks past the home depot, in the hideous mint colored building.
My first visit went well, very small venue with few tables and chairs but drive thru window is an option
They were so busy but their service was fast and friendly. I wish my croissant was a little crispier but the kids loved their donuts
They have donuts (pink sprinkle) kids like for those days they earned it. I like that I can pick up my order thru drive thru. Be ready for waiting in line as it is a small place in a small community that is growing fast.
Great donuts and friendly staff! We popped in a bit late, so they didn't have their full selection, but the chocolate donut with chocolate icing was delicious. I wouldn't eat in the shop itself - just kind of blah, but it's great for grab and go donuts! Would definitely recommend.
Awesome homemade donuts. I haven't tried the other fare, but I've been so happy with the donuts I don't need to. The staff can be hit or miss in terms of helpfulness/friendliness. Today's guy seemed pretty put out that we didn't know our order when we got there. The store was completely empty too so I wasn't holding anyone up. The dining area is nothing special, but what do you need from a little donut shop in a small town?
By far the best kolaches I've ever tried. Their donuts are normal. Customer service is average. Store is pretty plain and unimpressive. But the kolaches, my oh my, I would drive a long way to eat them.
I arrived late morning. Practically sold out of donuts so I had premade bacon, egg, cheese breakfast tacos warmed in a microwave. They weren't bad given the time of day. The lady who serviced me is a bit rough around the edges, but she's alright. I will go back at some point to try the donuts.
Update 1/26- Service has been better and the staff have been friendlier. ******* Is there a job qualification to be rude to work here? Everyone here is SO rude and they have no manners for a “small town” shop. “Support local business” but it’s okay to be rude, unprofessional, and serve food that looks like it’s been reused for days. It costs NOTHING to be kind.
First time here and I'm so glad we stumbled in. We ate breakfast across the street but I'm still looking for the perfect cinnamon roll. They were out but their other things are amazing. Talk about great staff....I think the wonderful doughnuts 🍩 are rubbing off on them because....THEY ARE SO SWEET! 😃 see what I did there? Pun intended, because they really were so nice. They gave us a few free samples to try. I'm hooked...gonna miss them when I'm back in Montana.
The glazed donut was delicious and the Kolache was okay. The Kolache could use less breading and more sausage but overall it was good.

They have great donuts but they are incredibly unfriendly. Really it’s like they don’t want to be there.
If you do a walk in order make sure you know exactly how many you are going to get , and keep in mind that Kolaches are not "donuts". I didn't get to order as many as I wanted because staff was in a rush, but they tasted really good.
Good doughnuts but prices kinda high. Almost $7 for a croissant sandwhich is a bit much.
The donuts are a little dry but go great with coffee. I wish they didn't use those little round sprinkles that are so dang hard! They're not mindblowing but they're not bad either if you're having a donut craving. Worth the visit. I would say the earlier the better so they're nice and fresh.
Great service. The plain glazed donut got and fresh is the best. Donut holes aren't my Fannie at this shop. Kolaches are good. If you go on a Saturday morning, I suggest going inside as the drive thru can be long. But, I love that they have drive through as an option.

I gave stars for the customer service because that does have value. However, my kolache breading was stale, and the sausage inside was petrified, hardly edible. This was surprising as it wasn't even 9 a.m. It would be fair to give them another try, as all establishments have "off" days, but the reviews with similar complaints are concerning and seem to indicate a lack of remediation.
I was passing through DS & maps put me on this place & the reviews seemed promising. Not sure how the reviews were so good because my food was not good. Kolache was ok but not very fresh as the bread had a stale taste & texture to it. Chocolate iced donut was inedible. Plain glazed donut was greasy & tasted like old grease. Prices were super high - over $7 wasted for those 3 items that I didn’t even finish

Small town attitude for sure. Felt like my "kind" not welcomed. Will not be going back or recommending for breakfast. better off with gas station donut's.
The simple cake glazed donut was expensive, dense, greasy, and largely unflavorable. The apple fritter...the same, though it did have apple-like overtones. But greasy and hard/dense
The staff was arguing with each other the entire visit, coffee and lattes we're horrible, and the donut holes were stale. And my friend found a roach in the bag for her breakfast sandwich.
Subpar donuts, gross kolaches, slow drive thru service, go somewhere else.
I have tried many many cinnamon rolls throughout Austin and surrounding areas. When you walk in you can smell the oil(bad sign old oil). the cinnamon roll was nothing but a swirled donut. Save your money, over priced and not very good. Especially first thing in the morning. YUK.
I drive through Drippin Donuts often and noticed that the people there are different employees. None the less I drove through yesterday, the young lady took my order and credit card. Then realising that instead of Charging me 18.83 sh had charged to my MC 183.30 dollars and did not know how to refund it, might I add that the only other 2 people there did not know how to either. I gave the girl my MC info and my cell number. Sometime late afternoon she left a message and needed my zip code, she had spoken to the owners. This is where my issue comes in...when I stopped by and walked in this morning, she was not there (off today) the person I attempted to speak with, did not speak english and the other older women just said "we can no help you...tomorrow, tomorrow..." then turned around and ignored the fact that I was even standing there. I was appalled by the rudeness. For owners of a business to only have employees that do not speak english or who have not been trained in the operation of managing the shop daily... Being a business owner myself I understand mistakes being mad, but it is how your team takes care of the mistake and if in a timely manner. I was treated poorly. Visited November 2015
I was looking forward to trying drippin donuts. However I was so disappointed, the older lady is very rude when it comes to ordering. The blueberry muffins seem to come from Sam’s and not made fresh.
$30 for only 5 kolaches that weren’t even warm? And then I get my donuts and they are ALREADY smashed as she hands them to me??
Drove down here to get donuts and they are closed. Please learn to update your business on Google if your gonna close. Also multiple reports of the donuts tasting like cleaning supplies so maybe stay away or report to a health inspector.
I’ve been coming here with my kids for a couple years and I have to say their customer service is horrible. It’s like the girls working the counter are all emotionless. No smiles, no welcome how can we help you. When I tipped $5 because I felt bad that they probably don’t get paid well and hate their jobs she put it in the tip jar and didn’t say anything. I’ve had a lot horrible jobs in my life and my suggestion is find a new one. It’s obvious that you don’t like your job so make a change. To the owners: Train your staff.
I went to Dripping Donuts on Saturday, July 1st at around 1:00 PM. Their website said they close at 1:15 PM, so I figured I would be fine. However, when I arrived, the door was locked and the lights were off. I knocked on the door and a worker came out and told me they were closed. I asked why, and they said they had closed early because they were "low on donuts." I was very disappointed. I had been looking forward to getting some donuts from Dripping Donuts, and I had driven all the way there only to find out they were closed. I also found it strange that their website said they were open until 1:15 PM, but they had actually closed early. I would not recommend Dripping Donuts to anyone. If you want to get donuts from there, make sure you order online and pick them up before they close early.
Donuts and kolaches are stale at 6 AM on a Friday. They don’t taste good. The donut holes are especially offensive. Maybe I’m just spoiled because of KC Donuts. Everything they serve is always fresh and delicious. I’ll stick with them in the future even though it’s a bit of a drive. Unfortunate because I really hoped to have donuts closer to me.
Had a similar experience that other reviewers have mentioned: the service here is so incredibly rude. The donuts and kolaches were far too doughy/chewy and lacked the airiness that I prefer. This place is so close to our swim school, but I doubt I’ll ever return.
Do not eat here. I got an d fashioned donut. Took one bite, it was old. My son got the chocolate donuts with sprinkles and 30 minutes later threw up. My husband didn't even finish his kolache. He said it tasted weird. Would not recommend or eat here again.
I went to Drippin donuts this morning from my daughters softball tournament, and let me tell you, I had a pretty bad experience. 1st, off it’s Halloween weekend and my oldest daughter is wearing her costume and the front lady gives her the dirtiest looks the whole time. Like why are you 60 years old and hating on a 15 year old. 2nd, the front lady gives me and my daughter attitude the whole time only because there was a little line and we were trying to decide what we wanted. 3rd, the lady wasn’t even listening to us and got most of our order wrong. The donuts on the other hand the donuts were not bad the service was just terrible. I don’t recommend. You can definitely find better places to get some donuts.
Gross!! They were infested with flies swarming all around the donuts and yet I still decided to try one. Hands down the most disgusting apple fritter I've ever tasted, pretty sure it was from yesterday too. There is no way that thing was made to today. The business smells musty too and needs a deep cleaning. It was gross and I will most definitely never go back.
I hate to give a local business a bad review, but this is well deserved. My family and I went in today at 12:12pm 2/13/26 to grab some coffee and kalachi's. We walked in and the young girl stocking the refrigerator did not even acknowledge that we had come in and were just standing there waiting. It was very uncomfortable. We all looked at each other like what is going on!? Well it gets worse... We ordered 5 kalachies and 1 sausage/cheese/egg croissant. The croissant feel out of the girls hand and hit the dirty floor and she proceeded to pick it up and tell us "OH, this is going to need a new bag!" as the egg literally dropped out of the sandwich and hit the floor again. I was mortified. I told the girl that my son probably would want a new one to which she rolled her eyes. Then every kalachi that she pulled to put in a bag we had to request each time that they be warmed up. She was not having that and shot me dagger eyes. While we were ordering another customer pulled into the drive through and the girl yells to the back to someone to get up. Another teenager stumbles in looking as though he just woke up to go help. I was so frustrated that I told my husband I would be in the car while they finished up the transaction. The food ended up being literally unedible. It was worse than truck stop food. Yall, we are local and I will 1000 times over go to Dunkin Donutes in Belterra before I ever come back here again. The owner should fire these kids, get a new baker and just start over before she ends up having to close her doors. This place is just terrible.
My order was simple, four colaches and four donuts, I get home and I only have three colaches in the paper bag. One person in my home did not eat a colache today…I will never come back here, glad we now have more options in DS.
We just moved here and have been twice. The cashiers are really rude and the donuts were stale.
This is the worst run business I have ever come across. If you’re looking for 2+ day donuts and attitude you have found your place. The quality of the donuts and sandwiches are astonishingly bad. I’ve never got a breakfast sandwich here and it not have eggshells in it. The donuts we got today had the glaze and chocolate mostly flaked off they were so old. The cashier was counting dirty change across the food service counter. The teenager helping us rolled her eyes multiple times in a 2 minute donut order. If there were negative stars this place deserves it. Poor effort would be a compliment here.
