Avis sur Five Guys Dublin
The good think is the food is exactly the same always you go there, tasty and juicy burgers, the price is a little over charged on my point of view. Could be a little cheaper, a burger, chips and soft drink for around 19 euros is really expensive for a fast food chain.
Great burgers fantastic chips. Drink lets then down a bit. Been a few times and they have not fixed the dilution issue so you get soda water flavoured with Coke or sprite or whatever
Burger joints are a plenty in Dublin. I would be so judgemental, however, Ben and all of the staff were so accommodating.
Atmosphere is just like any other five Guys, but im mad about burgers.. have had beef burgers in more than a dozen countries, and NOTHING comes close to a five guys double patty cheese, with jalapenos, pickles, grilled onions, mayo, hot sauce, and a dash of mustard. NOTHING.
One of the best burgers in Dublin, definitely recommend for dine in or take away.
I love the food at this place. A bit expensive, so I eat here as a rare treat but I always enjoy it. The burgers are so so well made and nicely customizable. Fries are simple but delicious, so are the sauces. I appreciate the versatile soda machine too, where many unusual flavours of Coke, Fanta, etc. are available. The atmosphere is very American diner/fast food coded, a little noisy and not very cozy. However, it is decently clean, employees frequently wipe down the tables and the food is definitely worth it. The toilets could be cleaner too though. And less delapidated.
They know how to make a damn fine burger. Cheeseburger all the way + a funky monkey milkshake (chocolate, banana & peanut butter) will set you up nicely for a food coma. If you want to be naughty get chips. Staff are sound. Loads of seats. Passcode-protected jacks. I wish it was open late.
A big thank you to one of the waiters who served me well Yesterday. He was friendly and assisted me to come to a conclusion about what I wanted to order. The hamburger was lovely, especially the fact that you get to decide on a lot of verity of toppings for free.
My favourite EVER fast food chain for burgers and fries! Omg the fries!!! Best 🍟 The crisp and salty, so well baked and tastes just perfection with that mayo! 💯 The burgers… 🍔 their cheeseburger is to die for! double patty, double cheese, bacon, pickle and tomato with that BUN—> 🤤 I’m lost for words here… never soggy but always fresh!!! Love love loveee♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Excellent service 10 out of 10. Nice staff. Clean. Free peanuts while waiting. I had an Incredibly tasty cheese burger (two patties) with pickles, grilled onion, lettuce, mayo and mustard. Small fries and killer milkshake with banana, peanut butter, salted caramel, bacon and whipped cream. I had to stay sat down for 30 minutes after finishing the meal as I could not move. But really worth it 🤪
Goid solid buger joint and always clean. Chips portions are crazy even when you expect it.
Love five guys. One of the best burgers and also now hotdogs. The mayo is simply the best, and when I went all staff were really nice and gentle.
As an American Europe’s been terrible. The only good meal I had was at McDonalds. And that didn’t even taste American. I was hoping that five guys would be better. I ate a decent meal but it was a lot of money.
I tried Five Guys on Saturday for lunch and it was super tasty, the place had loads of free seats and my order only took a few minutes to be prepared. I had a little burger and a little fries which were still a very sizeable portion I washed it down with a cool strawberry milkshake which had lovely chunks of strawberry’s. I found the burger very tasty and the fries were full of flavour. I will certainly be returning to try more on the menu.
The burgers are pricy for a fast food, but also really good for a fast food. There is a huge choice of drinks, not just your regular old coke zero. Be careful about getting a large fry though - unless you're sharing with 2 or 3 other gluttons - the portion is just ridiculously huge (still, they are good fries; I have to admit) Overall: worth getting
As an American, our Five Guys always have accolades from different cities plastered across the walls. Many of these are from Dublin. “Best burger in Dublin!” they proclaim, or something similar about the hotdogs or shakes. I had to find out if this was true. I made the arduous journey across the ocean to Dublin, and ate one burger at Five Guys. Out of my sample size of one, I can safely proclaim that Five Guys was the absolute best burger I had in Dublin. The overall experience is very authentic to its American counterpart, and that starts with the burger. Visually the differences are indiscernible. The toppings were generous, buns fluffy, and ingredients fresh. There were a couple quirks I did notice. The burger was way less greasy, the cheese was thicker, creamier, and the 100% Irish beef (Not the full all-American experience the wall proclaims) does have a unique taste. Not bad, and you might not notice it, just different. The fries get the “bless their heart” award. While the spirit of fried peanut oil and huge bag full of fries mirrors America, the amount of seasoning for the Cajun fries is almost non-existent. In the states, the Cajun fries are essentially orange. They are messy, and the seasoning will be on your fingers the rest of the day, no matter how much you wash them. Here it was almost like they were accidentally given one shake of seasoning. The fries themselves were great though. There is a texture difference from Irish potatoes versus the American staple Idaho. They are a little more dense and filling. Again, not a bad thing, just an interesting quirk. Coke freestyle machines have more options in the States than Ireland. I don’t blame Five Guys but that is valuable information that I couldn’t find before I went. You guys know you can eat the peanuts, right? They aren’t just there for decoration. That might be something that got lost in translation. Yes, even us Americans call Five Guys the expensive fast food option. That is very on brand. But their quality and quantity is usually a step above all other fast food options. Service was speedy, friendly, and very clean for a fast food restaurant in the center of a city. Many American Five Guys could learn a lesson here. I do adore how this location also has the signage about awards from Dublin. You have to pat yourself on the back sometimes. I think this location deserves the praise, it’s as close to a copy of an American Five Guys as you can get. Thank you for living up to the high expectations Five Guys. I will not be having another burger in Dublin, nor will I be taking questions. This experience will live forever in my memory.
Great place to share a fast meal with your friends. The staff is very nice! Burguers are good too! You can eat some peanuts while you decide what to eat. You can choose your burguer with the toppings you like. There is a free refill for your drink and The small portions of fries is big enough for two. You would be able to talk with your friends while eating as the music is not loud. Toilets are very clean (only for customers). It is a nice place to go for a bite (you would be full after eating)!!!!
Always always to go place if too hungry. It’s definitely a little to the expensive end. But the taste is unbeatable. For the money you pay, you will be more than full with a burger and their fries. The pattys taste fresh their fries are freshly cut and cooked which makes it different from the fries we usually get elsewhere. The mayonnaise you get at Five Guys is unique as well. Hungry and have some money to spare?, do try this place.
Only recently started to go here. Great venue loads space at lunchtime staff extremely friendly. Food tasty fresh and couldn't complain. I went for bacon burger with fried onions 🌰 and pickles normal fries and normal drink. Very reasonable price for the food you get and drinks are free to re fill
Well it's a Five Guys, nothing really out of the ordinary, it's kinda the same everywhere and in every country. The venue was okay-ish, pretty big and with a lot of seats. The food was nice, nothing different from our usual. I advise to take a small burger if you don't want two patties (it wasn't specified anywhere I think and I forgot that I usually take a small one since I don't go to Five Guys really often). The fries were nice and a little tiny bit spicy with the cajun spices. The hot-dog was great. Maybe a little bit expensive for the quantity but I guess it was okay. The staff was middle. The man who handle our food was great but the woman who took our order was not really warm and since kids were having an issue and asking the staff things, she wasn't very attentive but didn't say sorry or anything.
We have never tried five guys before but went there on a recommendation of a friend for fries and ended up trying burgers as well. Everything was amazing from food, service, cleanliness and overal…
Very bad dining experience. The burger and chips took forever. Wanted a tea, but they didn't sell tea. I almost fell over when I heard the price ...Burger and chips for 4, tap water and 1 bevera…

Its clean, staff at the counter very helpful. Food ok, not best burgers as they advertise. Vegan/vegeterian option is not a burger, its a bun with lettuce, pepper cooked onion and mushroom, quiet messy, had to use two straws to try eat it like using chopsticks. Then it could be picked up. Would not be going back. Chips were nice.
Son was keen to visit so we did. Tasty food but not as out of this world as the reviews (which are displayed ad nauseum around the restaurant) would suggest. Given the price of the burgers I expected them to be tasty and they were but not so much so I'd be returning on a regular basis.
Quite a busy place , this seems to be a very popular burger place in Dublin, I ordered a burger, it was not too big in size, but all the toppings in the menu are free which makes the burger loaded. Service is really fast, the ambience is very busy even during the afternoon when I went.
As per normal the burger and chips definitely fills you but the music level is way too high, even people sitting together had to raise their voices to be heard.
A Super tasty hotdog but it is really pricy for drinks. I think they have a special sausage! Super greaaaat. If you are happy to take away, it would be better without drink. If they have a meal, it would be fantastic. As someone already said there are lots of staff but you still need to wait for your food. It wasn’t long but I found it is bit wired that I need to still wait for my food for a while. I paid 9 euro for hot dog and drink.. It is pricy I think. I want to try fires and burger someday. :) Generally Good food, tasty but atmosphere is not good.
I have been to one Five Guys in NYC a couple of years ago and my memory was that they offer good burgers. This one in Dublin does the same. I had the Little Bacon Cheeseburguer and It wasn’t that little at all. It was the perfect size for me and the option to include any toppings is great. It was very tasty despite the spartan presentation. I thought the service was good and fast. I just think that all the frames and signs on their walls raving about how amazing are their burger sound pretentious. They have good burgers and that is it. Does that explain their higher prices? I don’t know.
Good fries, hot dog was nice too. Not so crowded at mid day tuesday.
Looking for a quick snack on the go? This is the place to be! Chips are crunchy but not authentic Cajun, still amazing. My recommendation: Mango Milkshake with vanilla, salted caramel and whipped cream :)
I went here yesterday (Monday 28/10/2024). The service was quick getting served. How ever, I waited roughly 10 minutes to get the food. I had a (double) cheese burger with fries and a thick chocolate milkshake which were all delicious. BUT, the fries were excessed in salt, for this reason is why I didn’t really enjoy those chips. Oops, I forgot to take a photo of the meal. I recommended drinking their thick shakes. I got a photo of the tasty burger, which is below.👇
Best fries ever the quantity is more than enough burger have countless options to choose I would be happy to try chicken
Great burgers and fries as always! The food is tasty and consistent with what you’d expect from Five Guys. Service was quick and friendly, though the prices are a bit high. Still, a solid option for a casual bite in the city.
I ordered cheese burger, Cajun fries and milkshake with nuts butter and strawberries by Deliveroo but I couldn’t get the free peanut unfortunately. Plus I didn’t feel strawberries in the milkshake. Cajun fries were really spicy so you better be careful. Overall I could feel the real US food that literally satisfies me though it cost €30😭
To start off the food itself was very nice. I got the double cheese burger with some fries. I went a few times over the years and the portion for fries seems to keep getting smaller. The burger was very juicy and I could honesty get another, except the price is what holds me back, for the price of a meal in other shops similar (BurgerKing, McDonalds,SuperMac's, ect) you do get just the burger. Hense I only come here on exceptions. The unlimited refil is a great sight to see especially with so many flavours of diet coke, personally I kept going back for the cherry flavour. The service is quite average, not much to remember. You can walk up and order or order on their application and theres not much else. There was not much of a wait and seating was not hard to find.
Five Guys is an expensive fast food chain with adequate meat patties. The prices are absurd and, as I see it, unjustifiable. The menu is not diverse, only a few options for burgers and one thing that caught me off guard is that they only accept payments through a credit card. No cash. Perhaps it is far more common in Dublin than the city I live in. I do think I would visit this fast food restaurant again but it most definitely would not be one of my top picks.
Seriously over rated. The regular fries are big portion on positive but literally reminded me of eating kings crisps,,exact same flavour. Burger average and I got tomato on it which didn't order.
Distinctly average burger joint with a price point is difficult to justify. Beef is good quality as are the ingredients, but the pumping music and drafty space makes it a bit uncomfortable. It does serve beer, has bottomless refills and sauces. Great for a quick bite on the run, but not a destination burger joint
I always order burgers and they are great. The 🌭 are not the best. The bun is very small and wet. I ordered it with bacon they forgot the bacon and my husband ordered it without pickles and lettuce and they put them. There was NO PEANUT 🥜 and we usually like them. We were quite disappointed, and the 3 stars are just because we had better previous experiences before.
Crazy prices for just a burger , so I had high expectations but the burger itself really just average i was very disappointed bun was cold cheese was cold coke tasted like sparkling water , the only thing that was somewhat decent was the chips. definitely very overrated
I got a delivery and this burger was so overpriced and underwhelming. If you're going to charge premium prices you need to deliver premium quality. I don't know why expected something tastier but it's just a painfully average burger. Not for me.
The food was okay. You can add any filling to the hamburger at no extra charge, the portions are generous, and the free peanuts are a nice to have. They also offer bun-free options, with the burger served without a bun or wrapped in lettuce, which is a great alternative. That said, it’s a bit on the greasy side, and I find the burger at Bunsen better in comparison. The staff were very kind and welcoming
Food is good I had a cheese burger and fries. Fries were over salted but nice otherwise. Burger was delicious but hard to eat as it is so messy. Self service drinks with free refill but the option I picked was not what I got. Also the self service ketchup dispenser exploded when I used it and destroyed my t shirt and coat. I said it to a staff member and he shrugged and walked away!!!! Won’t be back!!!! Also it is super expensive almost €23 for a cheese burger and small fries.
Service horrendous , fries salty burger no taste the burger looked as if it had been picked up off the floor and wrapped up again

Food is ok but nothing more. It’s overpriced, a bit soulless, and the burgers are average. Fries are good but way too salty. Conveyor belt food.

Service and chips we're lovely but the music is ridiculously loud to the point it is turning us off going back there.
This Five Guys is terrible. I don't know if this is a legitimate Five Guys restaurant or the brand has been franchised by someone in Ireland who is literally destroying it. I love my Five Guys when in the US or when in London, but this was just terrible. The patty was dry and overcooked and I have now eaten here twice and both times they have left out toppings in my order. The final thing I can't get over here is the price - a burger, chips and drink for around €20! It's like in Dublin, Five Guys is the same price as fine dining! Bunsen is still better, by a million miles, any day over this place.
Staff was very very nice and good. But Burgers 🍔 were average and in 2024 they do not have a vegetarian patty. Like have atleast 1 patty for vegetarian people. Taste was average and i will prefer Mcdonalds and burger King 🤴 more than five guys 😂. As i am a vegetarian i got a burger 🍔 without a patty and with just cheese and some vegetables. Presentation of burger 🍔 was soo bad i was like not in mood to eat. Will not recommend this for vegetarian people. Maybe non vegetarian burgers 🍔 are awesome but i can not try that.
Fice guys how disappointing, I ordered some food for my son, bacon cheese burger, fries and a salted caramel milkshake. What I got was a burger without bacon, without cheese and without mayo basically the essentials that make a bacon burger. I ordered this as a delivery via deliveroo and I can confidently say it was the 1st and the last time I order from Five guys. Not worth the money or the craze
The meat at Five Guys was extremely overcooked, dry, and completely lacking seasoning and salt. It had very little flavor and was honestly disappointing. The service was not very good either, the staff didn’t seem attentive or particularly friendly, which made the overall experience even worse. I expected much better quality and service.
The worst €12.50 spent. I ordered a bacon hot dog tray. It came with lettuce, tomato, a hot dog sausage sliced in half, and a few pieces of burnt bacon. For that price, I expected at least a small meal, but it wouldn’t even qualify as a snack. The burnt bacon was the cherry on top. I would never go back to Five Guys again. It’s appalling that food like this can be served.
burger was just okay. got the bacon cheese. felt it was a little dry and flavourless. cajun fries were so overseasoned it was like inhaling dust, absolutely suffocating and almost choking. milkshake was super yummy, and staff were perfectly pleasant if a bit under pressure during a busy service period. cant believe this cost me 25 euro.
well, burger was trully disappointing, size, texture and flavor just little above mcdonalds. actually, some of the mcd specials were above this one. truth be told, fries were amazing, probably best ever, but that's not why we came. also, we didn't get (or see at other's tables) none of the perks mentioned in other comments, e.g. free peanuts.
Ugly experience and i mean ugly, i was askibg for the names of the people that served me and i got John, but he was foreign with poor english. The only guy duting the shift. And the other one a girl …
In my opinion, a very bad experience. The food was terrible as was the service. Pricewise it was not value for money. I will not be back

What ever happened with common sense : fries were just thrown in the bag over the burgers... Just like you feed the animals...
It's not worth traveling all the way just for food it took atleast 3 times fore to order what I wanted I asked for plain burger and chips plain burger and it still came with the bun which shows the…
Popped in here for what I thought was going to be a quick bite to eat as I assumed it was a fast food restaurant. I was wrong. Waited at least 15 minutes for my order of chips and veggie sandwich…
Noisy, expensive, over rated, unorganised, soggy burger buns, veggie options inedible
The service was excellent, the burgers lacked flavor and the bread was cold from the refrigerator. They could warm the bread up a bit; eating frozen bread isn't pleasant.
The worst experience ive ever had with a take away. let's start with the ignorant rude French man who served us at the till, trying to push more sales onto us and when we said no, he threw us a look of disbelief and shock as if to say our order wasn't good enough , if he didn't ask me once he asked me 5 times is this all you want, it was 48.80 for 2 burger and chips with milkshakes, the most expensive you will pay for burger and chips in a take away, No interest in cleaning, or changing the pump sauce dispensaries. No mayo available Chips not cooked in peanut oil, they were cooked in vegetable oil, no taste of peanut oil what so ever and there no peanuts about the shop like every other 5guys I've been too, the chips I make at home are nicer, no evidence of peanut oil being used what so ever so the shop did not have a smell of peanut oil Burger pretty much the same not the quality or standard of 5guys in the UK or in Belfast, very bad shop experience. I left very angry disappointed and felt done out of my hard earned money, never again will I use this 5guys shop Avoid like this shop like the plague !!!! go to MCdonalds it will be of better quality then this shambles of an establishment.
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Ridiculous pricing and total lack of security. Will never be back. Food was also nothing special whatsoever.
The worst five guys I have ever been to. We waited a lot, the food was tasteless and cold, the place was soo loud. Not worth it
Was really disappointed with our visit. It's card only, which i don't have an issue with. I've visited a number of Five Guys in the UK and Ireland. This is the worst one I've been to. Didn't get the order correct with the added extras. The burgers felt cold, and the bun was soggy on the base due to onions and not grilled onions being added. Two in my party ordered milkshakes and requested whipped cream, which they didn't do and had to ask again. It was really disappointing and won't return to this branch next time in Dublin.
Ugly experience and i mean ugly, i was asking for the names of the people that served me and i got John, but he was foreign with poor english. The only guy during the shift. And the other one, a girl and as well with poor english (no need for english to cook and offer poor service) One more thing, keep your receipt as the code for the bathroom would be on it as staff has poor english and might take you sometime to tell them what you need.
I ordered bacon cheeseburger and little bacon cheeseburger. And they served without bacon. We asked to get just bacon. And actually bacon was dry and crispy. So I can’t add my hamburger. I told with staff. And they made again. It was same without bacon. I don’t wanna argue anymore. So I leave this store. But twice time without bacon.(especially my burger bread was wet. I don’t know how is possible) I felt they don’t know what is bacon. DON’T OREDER ANY BACON BURGER. You can just throw away your money.
I went at 12:35 today (sunday) and order a milkshake. The guy responsible for the milkshakes was horrible. Firstly, he finished my milkshake first and then he finished 3 more until he called out my number, so I had to wait about 7 minutes for one milkshake (whilst its a maximum 2 minute job). Secondly, whilst the guy was making a milkshake the cup that he was making the milkshake fell to the floor and then he picked it back up again and insted of throwing it out, he tried to reuse it, I scolded him about him reusing a dirty cup and in response he got a new cup but he was staring at me. It would be wise for the management of this brand to fire him, because to a new customer like me, it really made the image of the brand to look bad. Also the milkshake, was horrible as about 1/5 of the cup was pretty much just oreo cookies that this useless guy forgot to blend well, so it was also realy hard to drink (as you can see in the photo attached) . I won't recommend to buy from this branch unless they fire this incompetent employee.
I visited the Five Guys for the first time, and the experience was disappointing. Nobody explained how the ordering system works or that you need to add all the toppings yourself. I ended up paying almost €30 for a completely plain burger. The service was confusing and unorganized. I had to wait a long time and received my order in three separate parts. Overall, it left a very bad impression.
Seriously a depressing fall in quality. No peanuts, no peanut oil used, although “COOKED IN 100% PEANUT OIL” is very boldly written on the menu. Completely incorrect and the chips were genuinely inedible. I usually don’t mind how expensive this place is but the drop in quality makes visiting no longer worth it. Bathrooms were really disgusting and the toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall. I always visit five guys no matter what country I’m in, but I cannot believe how awful the quality in their Irish franchises has become.
