Great time with the MVP of McDonald's today

Stopped in here after my flight on Monday, October 21st around 11:50PM and I can confidently say it was the best McDonald’s I’ve ever had. Whoever it was that was stationed on the fries (I think it was one of the girls) they really did their thing full credit to them because you’d be surprised how easy it is for people to mess up fries, coming from someone who works in fast food 😂. Of course it wasn’t just the fries that were top notch the McRib that I also ordered was very delicious. The shift leader who was there is clearly setting a great example for her staff and is creating a positive work environment as her, as well as her staff members were all working with a smile on their face and were incredibly polite. I can’t give this team enough credit the experience was second to none. Unfortunately I didn’t catch any of their names but I’m sure they know who they are and receive the credit that’s due. Well done guys!

Found the staff to be surprisingly helpful and attentive. I've never had someone to come over to check if everything was OK during the meal at McD before!

Best chicken wrap I've ever had in any McDonald's! The entire place is spotless, staff are efficient and friendly. Must be under new management. Still a problem with taxis taking up the parking spaces, however staff are doing their best to remove them.

Hadn't had a McDonald's for a long time. So this was a nice treat. The burger was simply delicious really meaty I know they all are but this tasted really good. The milkshake as always was great. Have to say the small let down were the cheese melts not very melty or cheesy but I still ate them so couldn't have been that bad. Service was quick and the staff friendly and smiling.

Fast service, clean and well maintained area. Clean toilets. Had no problems at all.

It is very convenient place to grab some snacks.

Big shout out to Eamon for the help and friendly chat while he was going about his work. We stopped off with the kids after a flight we took at 3am from Spain. Eamon lifted their mood without even asking. He produced sheets and colouring pencil which lifted the kids moods, and kept them occupied so mum and dad could have their coffee. Eamon is really personable and it is very rare to experience the kind of interaction we had with Eamon in a McDonald's or any buisness like it these days. Thanks a million Eamon!

Really good McDonald's. We stopped here a few times between connections at the Airport. Clean, staff friendly. If your lucky enough to get a seat or if it is quiet in the late evening staff don't mind if you sit for a while after eating. Wifi is faster here then in the airport as well. Late evening they package everything to go in case they need to ask everyone to leave for cleaning and they close the upstairs seating area. Short walk from the airport along sidewalks. Be careful crossing the highway at the crosswalks as we had a few buses run the red light at high speeds past us.

This place is just amazing .. the upstairs lobby and seating area outside has a wonderful view of the airport where u can see flights landing and taking off .. And more importantly the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS JUST SOO GOOD , the staffs are soo friendly and nice .. and the warm welcome when we enter. . the food is also hot and fresh

I don’t usually do fast food chains and it’s not because of political or ethical reasons, it’s simply because I am not into fast food at all. Anyhow last Friday at about 7am I was picking up my partner at Dublin airport, the flight was delayed coming into Dublin so I decided to pick up two cappuccinos at McDonald’s. I really have to command the counter staff there (two female staff members - one with an Eastern European accent and the other one with a Northern Irish accent), they were very upbeat, cheerful and professional for such an early time of the day!

Hands down the best McDonald's in the Country. Stopped going to airside years ago due to poor food quality, but Airport McDonald's has been the saving Grace. Always get freshly cooked and properly prepared food here and they rarely get anything wrong. Excellent service on top of everything else!!

Our flight was delayed, so we had time to walk about 10 minutes from the airport terminal to this McDonald's for a quick meal. Although there might be one inside the terminal, I couldn't find it, and the McDonald's app didn’t show this location. The staff were very helpful as I initially had trouble using the discount coupon in the app, but they quickly and kindly assisted me. The second floor of this McDonald's is a great spot to watch planes land while enjoying your meal.

Very nice McDonalds restaurant with a drive-thru. Even though it was very quiet on the day that I visited, the food was fresh. It's kept spotless clean. It's very close to the airport which is very useful if you have to want a quick meal before or after picking up. Car park tends to be very busy with taxi drivers, as is the garage next door.

AMAZING PLACE!!! The service was AMAZING and the food was delicious and arrived quickly. Beautiful design with two floors and lots of seats and space. The staff are very kind and professional and are always willing to help. They clean instantly after someone leaves and clean all parts of the area including windows, floor, seating areas and tables. When we ordered, we were going up the stairs and this kind staff member called Ashly asked kindly if we needed any help which then she helped us take our food upstairs and she even helped us to get some tissues. Looking forward to returning to this wonderful place. Will recommend to anyone considering to visit.

Always consistent and high quality. Minus 1 star as their coffee machine obviously had a problem, only 1 of the 4 coffees purchased had any coffee in it (the rest were cups of stand milk). As we had done a drive through were too far away to bring back. Overall, friendly polite staff and always decent food.

The drive thru is quick, easy to use and efficient. The food selection changes periodically which brings variety to the pallet. Sometimes all we need is a McDonald's.... sometimes the faster the better

I really want to give this mcdonalds outlet 5 stars bit unfortunately there's some things that needs to be improved which is having table service more staff and having staff at the tills as i was waiting for a few minutes to be served even though the staff has other orders to be sorting but there should always be someone at the tills ready to serve customers and hopefully the next time I'm in this mcdonalds outlet things will improve from my feedback that I put in my review

I'm just connecting between Barcelona. This McDonald's is good, although as I know Ireland is more expensive. The €5 meal in Spain cost me eight euros. It's Sunday afternoon and there are a lot of people with small children. The whole floor is buzzing with children. About 10-12 children. My head is starting to hurt from all the words. This McDonald's really came through in the clutch for me. It was 1AM, and I found myself biding time while waiting for my girlfriend's delayed flight. Came during lunch hour—place was packed. Service was fast, but the food quality suffered. My Big Mac was sloppily made and the fries were clearly sitting under the heat lamp too long. On the plus side, the drink machine worked and the place was relatively clean. Overall, it was passable. It’ll curb your hunger, but won’t impress you. I called in for breakfast at approximately 06:10 and ordered a sausage and egg McMuffin to be told " oh we have no eggs" not good enough, not the first time I have here issues here, last time they didn't get the order correct, think in future I will try somewhere else that can provide my breakfast.

No customer service to speak off - all automated now on the screens. No atmosphere - too quiet. The whole place could do with a deep clean…

By far the biggest issues with this place is the fact you can never go into it cos there are at minimum at all times 20 taxis parked in its car park they pay 2 euro for a coffee and park there for hours 5 times in the last 2 weeks I've been to the airport and wanted to go in and sit down and you can't cos there is no control over the taxis even in the petrol station adjacent to it is full of them . McDonald's beed to put in a time period for taxis no more than 15 mins for all of them as its a joke I can't go into a McDonald's and sit down and enjoy a meal with my kids while waiting on a plane to land cos of the stupid amount of taxis just sitting there when I asked about it at the window as I had no choice but to go drive through I was told they are paying customers. Today I was seeing off my friends, and we stopped by McDonald's. I parked near the entrance, and there were no signs or notices, except for two marked spots for the disabled on the right. While we sat with my friends for about 20 minutes, they put a wheel clamp on my car! Let me remind you, there were no signs or notices indicating that this was a short-term or staff-only parking spot. Moreover, there was a McDonald's employee nearby who seemed to be watching the parking lot and didn't inform us that the spot was for short-term use or for employees. I came out just as the special service was attaching the clamp to the wheel. I immediately paid the fine of 125 euros, and three minutes later, they removed the clamp. This feels like a scam targeting tourists, as there were no warnings, and the employee watched the whole time without warning us, only to call the service after a while. It feels like some of the staff are intentionally making money off of this.

Tried to get in to the car park this morning but every single spot had a taxi parked in it , some of the drivers were actually asleep . So I went to the drivethu and ordered a breakfast with a coffee . I was handed the bag and then handed a coffee with a loose lid on ! The coffee spilled all over me scalding my legs and my lap and the centre console of the car . So a fantastic place to go for fast breakfast, had to go home and get changed , have a coffee and tonight I'll have to get the car cleaned . Lucky my mcnuggets were not scalded ! Appalling bad service during my visit, waited over 20 minutes for my order, after 15 minutes I went to the counter to enquire, it took a further 4 minutes for ANY staff member to ask me if I was ok, turns out it was the manager, and she was more interested in arguing back to me that because they had no orders left, she could not explain where my order ended up. Many taxis and Uber drivers are occupying parking spots without ordering any food. Inside, some people are sitting at tables for a long time with just an empty coffee cup. possibly waiting for a flight while paying customers with food have nowhere to sit and eat.

Very poor service. Yesterday my breakfast was handled by someone who was handling food while she was whipping her nose with the same hand, no gloves, nothing. Today, big surprise, I placed my order, just to be let know at the collection time that my Coffee won’t be available, due to the machine technical problems, and if I want an Orange juice or a refund. I ordered a toffee latte, expecting it to be sweet as usual, but what I received was far from it. The coffee was incredibly bitter at first, and after a few sips, it even turned sour. This is the 3rd time where we come to this place and no where to park as every single spot is taken by Taxi drivers seating in their cars and not parking where they should be clearly to avoid airport parking fees. We had to leave and get food elsewhere. Maybe prioritise your customers and get taxis to park elsewhere. This is not a taxi rank.

They have a car clamping company hanging around outside the restaurant. If you leave don’t go straight back to your car, they charge you EUR125 and threaten to leave site and strand you unless you pay up.

They were out of milk for my child, but didn't let us use their car park to go next door to the Circle K to get milk without the threat of getting clamped. Circle K lot was full. The clamping agents are very aggressive. Very anti-family. Give it a pass.

Absolutely disgusted by the car park policy. If you leave the car park on foot you will be clamped. 125 euro release fee. If you're thinking about getting something from Circle K next door it'll cost you dearly. I learned the hard way today. Got clamped after 5 minutes as the man waited in the van for anyone leaving the car park. Won't be coming again.

Be aware that clamping is in operation at this location. I noticed that the parking management is clamping some cars. One of the rules is that you must keep an eye on the time as parking for longer than 30 minutes will result in clamping.

the staff were very unfriendly and not only did my meal take 20+ minutes to be ready, they gave me the complete wrong order, i ordered a big mac meal with no pickles and no lettuce, not only did they ignore my request they proceeded to hand me a burger with 7 slices of pickles and so much lettuce that it caused the box to be uncloseable. there was also literally 0 parking space available as they were all taken up by taxis

Worst worst customer service ever, we parked at the front in car park lot, less than 5minutes even, we were going to go in to get coffee and some snacks as the baby was sleeping all of us wouldn’t have been able to get out , we had to discuss what we would get. And a very rude arrogant man, named Anthony(Antonio) not sure, who is supposedly the manager, came and told us if you are not buying can you please drive off. I have never experienced this level of rudeness coming from a manager before. He definitely need to do a training. I am a manager too and my customers or whoever is passing by is treated with respect no matter what. It is my right to take my time and decide what I want to get. And as a customer if I wanted to buy something and change my mind no one is allowed to stop me. Please do better or else you will lose a lot of customers. Thank God we didn’t buy anything and left. After waiting almost 10 minutes behind one car at the drive thru, I left with my food and came home to find that despite asking for no cheese, and my receipt and the wrapper stating "no cheese", there was cheese on the double sausage and egg mcmuffin and there was no egg. The sooner robots start making the food there, the better.

Visiting McDonald's and got a clamp, I was legally parked and went to the toilet. Drive thru was busy, so I went to the toilet 1st before joining queue.only to come back 6 mins later to be clamped ... McDonald's you should be ashamed of yourselves to allow this to happen.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Worker kept interrupting me when trying to order . While i was parker in bay 1 worker gave the food didn’t even give ketchup or salt . Received old stale and cold chips with both burgers with dry meat and top of that found hairs in my chips. At first we thought it was the coolest McDonald's ever. Then we went inside and ordered and then we're told our American debit cards weren't accepted there. I literally have a video of the manager telling me they do not take American cards there. Not mine nor my daughters. So, we went across the street and bought dinner from the gas station with said debit card.

I got clamped here for taking my dog for a 5minute walk to let him go to the toilet on the grass after dropping my wife off at the airport before going into McDonald's. I came back 5 minutes later and stickers on my car with the parking attendant telling me I should have gone into McDonald's first before taking my dog.... they were waiting for me to walk away so they could put a clamp on it. €125 to release and McDonald's are just saying it is CPMS who manage it, nothing got to do with them. My burger order was touched with bare hands, including the cheese, patty, and bun, which is unacceptable in a food service establishment... They should be following sanitary standards. I watched the guy preparing my burger, and he stood there for a very long time, at least 40 minutes... I also heard from your employees that half of them don't wash their hands at all. I was there on December 19th waiting for a flight to Stuttgart What was extremely unpleasant was that the receipt for my cup of coffee was printed out and the female bartender placed it next to her, apparently wanting to use it one more time to steal money from her owners. I urge McDonald's management to investigate this establishment, especially when people steal money from the owners in the food service industry. This inevitably affects the quality of the product.

AVOID at all costs. The car parking is an absolute scam, McDonalds have hired a clamping company who sit in a van in the car park between the circle K and McDonalds. They wait and watch for people to walk over to the service station and they clamp within 2 minutes of arrival without any prior warning or notice that the car park is for McDonalds customers only. When asked the reason, I was told "McDonalds are losing out on custom". I doubt a €42 million euro business are being affected by one car park out of their 96 franchises in ireland. It is an absolute scam.

They clamp your car even if you are visiting the restaurant with no appeal. The clampers claim if you sit on the wall, or go to the service station to purchase something, they will clamp immediately. This is a problem with Ireland's clamping laws, but this operation is targeting tourists and threatening them without access to their car unless they pay immediately (the clampers claimed they only release them when they pop in for food). As in the pictures, they illegally park themselves by the door (these are the setdown and wheelchair spaces) and literally run to put the clamp on - we turned off the car at 14:42, and the clamp photo was 14:43:02!! Don't say you weren't warned - 125 euro for stopping to eat!!

Unlawful Clamping, Harassment, and Threatening Behaviour – McDonald’s Dublin Airport – 11/08/2025, approx. 11:30 I lawfully parked in your car park as a genuine customer, intending to dine inside. Upon entering, I found: One toilet out of service (no toilet paper), The other toilet occupied with a queue, and The disabled toilet broken. These facts can be verified on your CCTV. As a result, I briefly left the premises to use the toilet next door, returning within minutes. Upon my return, I discovered my car had been clamped. I approached a McDonald’s employee who: Saw me park my car, Saw me enter the restaurant, and Saw me exit the toilets. This employee was aware that I had been in the restaurant prior to my short absence, which was entirely due to your facilities being unusable. Despite this, he insisted that I was “not a customer” and that I had been clamped because I “left the premises” — even though I have a receipt and can be seen on CCTV as a genuine customer. I explained the situation and stated that I had already informed the manager about the broken toilets, yet I was told I must pay the clamping company before the clamp would be removed. The clamper on site was professional and advised me to appeal later but confirmed I must pay first. I paid €125 by credit card under protest. Even after payment, the McDonald’s employee refused to instruct clamp removal until ordered to do so by the manager. After the clamp was removed, the same employee mocked me, laughed, sarcastically wished me a “nice day.” When I told where to go , he followed me to my car and verbally threatened to smash my head in and kept saying go on say it again— in front of witnesses,the clamping company’s ans security cameras. I also witnessed other customers being clamped at the same time for the same alleged reason. I did not see any signage stating that customers must remain within a defined boundary at all times. It was unclear where such a boundary began or ended. It would have been impossible to know whether McDonald’s also owned or controlled the neighbouring premises, as the site appeared continuous. I believe the clamping at this location is not being carried out in a reasonable or fair manner, but rather as a profit-making exercise, and in this case was enforced despite clear evidence I was a legitimate customer. Clamping a genuine customer due to a brief absence caused by your own facility failures is unreasonable and grossly disproportionate. Denying me the use of parking and imposing a €125 penalty under these circumstances is complete unfair. Forcing payment under these circumstances constitutes coercion or an unlawful demand. The verbal threat of physical assault by your employee is a matter I am reporting to An Garda Síochána. This incident should be clearly visible on your CCTV. I now request A full and formal investigation by McDonald’s Ireland into the conduct of your staff at Dublin Airport on 11/08/2025. Preservation and release of all relevant CCTV footage to An Garda Síochána upon their request. A full refund of the €125 clamping fee to my credit card. A written explanation of what measures will be implemented to prevent a repeat incident, including proper staff training on: Customer rights, Appropriate clamping procedures, and Professional conduct towards customers.

Another bad experience, and I am a regular DAA employee who uses this McDonald's but after today I WONT BE BACK. Ordered 2 meals - Big Tasty with and WITHOUT BACON, got 2 meals BOTH WITH BACON, I'm allergic and now I won't have a meal to eat. The other Big Tasty had bacon coming out on all sides, the presentation was abysmal. Receipt is provided.
