So many tasty Indian ice-cream flavors to choose from. Loved the place!
Lots of ice cream flavors to choose from. The taste and texture are quite similar to authentic Indian ice cream.
Nirvanaah! Indian Ice Cream and Ice Cream Cake store on El Camino Real close to India Cash and Carry. Popular Indian flavor of Ice Creams, milk shakes, Ice Cream Cakes and more. Scoops and made to order. Popular among locals and tourists to the area. Descent pricing. Polite and friendly staff. Easy access from most parts of Bay area.
I have had mango flavor before and this time I ordered a banana split wuth three different flavor scoops though there were no pineapples but it was yum - Coconut Pineapple • Sugar-Free Pistachio • Mango Pomegranate • Whipped Cream • Pineapple • Strawberries and blackcurrent scoop (loved the black current) ❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful desi Ice-cream parlour in the perfect location. We visited on a weekend afternoon after lunch. Enough parking is available since it's located inside a complex with multiple businesses. Tried a scoop of meetha pan and badam pista kulfi. Both recommended. Other flavors can be easily available in other ice cream shops as well, but I doubt you'll find traditional Indian flavors elsewhere. I also loved the quantity, given the price.
Nice Indian ice cream parlor. All flavors are nice. Faluda kulfi is the best. Must try. We tried. Butterscotch, mango, lychee, guava, thandai so far. All if them are too good. The best thing about this place is it’s open late on weekends so after dinner anyone can come here and enjoy dessert. So good. Quick service even though there’s a line for placing an order. No place to sit inside. Take the ice cream and enjoy it outside. It has nice Indian feel 🙂
Very good Indian ice cream parlour. We got paan, mango, guava flavours in ice cream and kulfi falooda. All of them were amazing! The staff is good too. They have a good variety of flavours in ice creams. Almost all flavours/options are vegetarian except for cassata and brownie which they have mentioned. Also, they have milk shakes and ice cream cakes. Recommend trying kulfi falooda.
The ice cream was amazing. I loved the setting and customer service!!! Go there if you can!

This place was packed when we got here right before they closed. They have a great selection of ice cream flavors and you can order an ice cream cake for special occasions. They let you sample on…
Some of flavors are really good like chikoo, mango, falooda. But it’s hit and miss. I tried Chikoo and Sithaphal (this really tasted like vanilla) and my friend got Traditional pistachio kulfi it has some artificial flavors probably almond essence or something didn’t really like it.
Nirvanaah Ice Cream is a treat for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors. The selection is good and really hits the mark for Indian taste buds. Service is reasonably good, though the place can get crowded at times, leading to longer waits. Seating is limited and the ambiance is fairly basic, so it’s more about the ice cream than the surroundings. Overall, if you’re looking for great Indian-style ice cream, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Tried Nirvana Ice Cream in Santa Clara and it did not disappoint overall! I sampled the paan, chikoo, sitaphal, coconut, and mango pomegranate flavors. The paan was absolutely amazing — rich, refreshing, and hands down the best one I’ve tried so far. The mango pomegranate was fruity and nicely balanced too. That said, we did feel a little rushed even though the shop closes at 10:30. The chairs and stools were kept on top of the counter, so there was no place to sit and we had to eat while standing. However, the waitress was kind enough to let us try most of the flavors before we decided to buy, which I really appreciated. Great spot if you’re looking for unique, desi-inspired flavors — especially the paan!
Cute little store serving Indian inspired flavours to cater to the childhood nostalgia of the desi techies occupying Silicon Valley. I thought it was simply okay. We had the cassata and rajbhog flavours. I thought they were not very fresh. Maybe I got an old batch. But happy to go back and try some new flavours. Update - tried their paan and chikoo flavors. Very authentic but chikoo was better. Paan one tasted like saunf.

The ice cream tastes very good. And the service there is also good. And the ambiance is not good.
Loved their mango litchi icecream cake. I do wish they added some cake layer to it as well.
Loved the malai falooda ice cream cake we ordered. Good decoration on the cake and was worth the value we paid. Service is slow.
Good Falooda Kulfi and Malai Kulfi! \nLong wait even around closing time! \nMaybe have more help behind the counter.
Falooda Kulfi 2 pink, weird taste Thandai 2 white, don't like the spiced aftertaste Mango Pomagranate 3 orange, subtle mango, can't taste pom much Fresh Guava 3 white, creamy, subtle guava
The place has good fusion options to try, the best one is pan ice-cream, really enjoyed it. The place does feel like run down as it’s not clean and welcoming. The staff is helpful and did allow us to try a few flavors before we decided on that we wanted. Good for takeaway but not for dine in.
Visited Nirvanaag Ice Cream over the weekend, and it wasn't crowded, which was nice. The atmosphere was pleasant, and they offer a wide variety of unique flavors, which is great for those looking to try something different. I decided to go for the Gulab Jamun ice cream, but it was just average—not as impressive as I was hoping for. The shop itself has a clean and welcoming vibe. If you're in the area and looking to try some fusion flavors, it might be worth a stop, though I’d probably explore other options next time. Overall, it’s a decent spot, but I wasn’t blown away by the taste.
Ideally, I'd give this place 3.5/5 stars. Nirvanaah in Sunnyvale serves up a wide variety of Indian-inspired ice cream flavors, perfect for those seeking an adventurous taste bud experience. Located conveniently in a strip mall with ample parking, it might be a good spot to grab a scoop, but be prepared for a slightly tired ambiance. The interior is definitely in need of an upgrade. The worn-out seats and overall rundown feel took away from the experience a bit. There is also not a lot of indoor or outdoor seating, so keep that in mind. The saving grace was the incredibly friendly staff. They were super patient with my friends who weren't familiar with Indian flavors, allowing them to try a multitude of options before making their decisions. Nirvanaah boasts a unique selection of flavors, including meetha pan (a post-wedding breath freshener in Indian weddings), chickoo (a tropical fruit), and gajar halwa (a carrot-based dessert). You can choose between one, two, or three scoops, allowing you to create your own flavor combinations. The verdict on the flavors themself is a mixed bag. Some, like meetha pan, guava, and Alfonso mango, were bold and packed a punch. However, others like chickoo and sweet apple were a bit muted and didn't quite deliver on their promise. The butterscotch was particularly disappointing, with an off-putting texture. They also offer falooda, a playful mix of milkshake, bubble tea, and sundae elements. While it might be worth a try for the novelty factor, it ultimately comes down to personal preference. Overall, Nirvanaah is a decent option for those seeking unique Indian ice cream flavors. The friendly staff and the sheer variety of options deserve a nod, but the rundown interior and uneven flavor execution hold it back from being truly impressive.
“No Tasting” and “Take out only” is what stands out first when you enter. No seating at all. The guava ice cream was very good and so was the Ferreto Rocher and mango. But the -2 starts is for the not edible sugar free tutti fruiti ice cream which we threw away after tasting. That’s my favorite flavor but here it was so strong just could not eat. If they had let us taste I would have opted for something else. It’s also end of covid hopefully they will get back chairs and tables so families can go together relax and enjoy their ice creams in the store. They had the Meeta paan flavor that looked tempting, may be for next time.
cute interior, whimsical and feels like an old diner. service was standard, just walked up and ordered. found the mango kulfi a little too sweet.

A small Indian ice cream shop. We got the cardamom ice cream flavor, $5.25 for one small scoop. Taste was good, but overpriced for that small serving of mediocre ice cream. They don’t offer free samples and it was hard to know which flavors we would like given all these unusual flavors, many of which we haven’t heard of (if you are not from India). Service was not that friendly. The shop smelled like cheap detergent as soon as you walked in. Not recommending it unless you are looking for exotic ice cream flavors.
For Zafrani pistachio ice cream, the nuts were replaced by pecans . This was a DoorDash order and the store didn't even think of informing about the replacement which the entire family is allergic to…
