River Grille

We have friends and family that visits us from out of town. We always take them to River Grille. Can't go wrong with this place. They're open everyday and also open at 1130 which a lot of restaurants around that area aren't. The food is always delicious, nice presentation and always well made. But the service! The service! All the staff are always smiling and checks on us often at our table. Johnny is one of the best! He has such a friendly demeanor and remembers us from the other times we have dined there. We were there yesterday with friends from NY with their 4 yr old son. He was so friendly and talked to them as if he's known them for a long time. He's good with interacting with children too. Anticipated that crayons and paper were needed to occupy their son. He knew the menu well and recommended new items for lunch and new drinks for the season. River Grille will always be our go to for great food and service that's close to home!

The black and blue ribeye steak is amazing here. Would totally come back just for that.

Great dinner. Came here because their restaurant week menu stood out to us. They were super busy but we still ended up being able to get a table. We both really enjoyed our meals and our drinks. Our waiter was extremely kind and very good. All of the food was perfectly cooked and delicious. I would for sure come back again to try more of their menu.

My mom and I always come here for the mussels they’re absolutely delicious. Sarah I believe her name is, was a very knowledgeable waitress and recommended one of my new favorite drinks. Katrina the manager is very helpful and quick to fix any issues. I definitely recommend!🥂

Not one complaint about my dinner! My partner and I were extremely happy with the kindness and way our server Brooke, and manager Luan went out of their way to make our experience special. I will always recommend their tiramisu, calamari, as well as the sausage pizza. Thank you Rivergrille for the one of a kind experience.

Defined a 5 start experience all around! Food service and atmosphere was incredible. A shout out to Tom our server, who made a birthday lunch lovely! We had the short ribs, served with mashed potatoes and green beans, some yummy frizzled onions as a garnish. Also had the pistachio crusted salmon, cooked to perfection, served with a mushroom risotto and brocollini. A smathering of a mustard bur blanc as a sauce served along the salmon. The restaurant was clean and the food was cooked perfectly, nice portion size. Lunch menu is the same as dinner! We'll be back!

First time we have been here went for early Valentine’s Dinner. The service our server Eddie provided was excellent. Food was tasty and the presentation was just like seen in pictures in other reviews consistency is key! The atmosphere was soothing. Will definitely be back again for date night. We started off with fried calamari and lobster bisque. The white sangria very fruity. For dinner, the crabcakes were the best I’ve had , and the Guinness braised short ribs were mouthwatering. I finished it off with the peanut butter bliss, which was perfect. We also took a margarita pizza home, which was outstanding

The place doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s a diamond in the rough! The atmosphere is lively but cozy and worm and perfect for conversation. The River Grill burger was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I thought it was outstanding. Lobster pappardelle with fresh made pasta was also excellent. Drinks were really good and crème brûlée one of the best I ever had. Everything served around us looked good! I love their portions and presentation! After two visits I’m looking forward to going back to try more dishes!

Me and my husband took a drive from Bucks County and landed in Easton and looked up restaurants. What a great find. The drinks are delicious and the food was amazing. We split the burger and the apple Brie arugula pizza. Mouth watering. Restaurant was clean, music was good, and server was on top of things. This place is a FOODIES dream.We will definitely be back.

Quiet Monday night in Easton but perfect weather and town is perfect for a stroll. River Grill is perfect accent for the night. Tuna tatare, calimari and lobster bisque all delicious. Service with a smile. Memorable!

First time there tonight. Dinner was great the shrimp and biscuits were a great appetizer. And the Lobster Pappardelle was outstanding. Great homemade pasta good amount of Lobster. Staff was very friendly and good made sure everything was happy at our table. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food, drinks, and service as always. River Grille is one of our favorite restaurants in Easton. They are consistently great! We have tried so many dishes- burger, pizza, chicken, scallops, pasta, steak- they have it all and it is all delish! You can always count on them for an excellent meal.

Absolutely delicious food and great staff! My huddy and I had lunch here with our dog and everyone was so welcoming about it. They had the cutest little outdoor seating area and they made sure our pup was well watered.

Had a fantastic lunch. We had the vegan pizza and veggie burger both were amazing. The pizza’s crust was light and crunchy. The fries that came with the burger were cut with the skin still on and they were cooked to perfection with the rob got amount of salt.

My wife and I have been here 4 times so far....we have never left feeling unsatisfied with our dining experience. The drinks, the attention to our table, the food, all WELL worth it. This is quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants to visit, not only in the Easton area, but in the entire NEPA area. I highly recommend.

First time here tonight very nice place. Went here with a group of friends. The food is delicious. The waitress was excellant, very knowlegable about the menu of what was good to try and always checked on our table which is a plus. I had the river grill burger it was delicious.

My husband and I went to River Grille before Restaurant Week ended; we had a great dinner! The atmosphere was nice, the staff was kind, the food was delicious, and the music was perfect. We enjoyed the fried calamari, short ribs, frutti di mare, and cheesecake; each course was delicious. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

We are visiting from out of down and stopped at River Grille because it was down the road from our hotel. The atmosphere is modern and very nice, the staff is kind and pleasant. We tend to get chicken parm and salmon everywhere we go and this was hands down the best place we have ever ordered these meals from. Between flavor and right amount of juiciness, both meats were out of this world. And we couldn’t get enough of the mushroom risotto. For dessert we got the lava cake and coconut flan. Highly recommend the flan! We would definitely come here again and encourage anyone in the area to visit as well. Price is worth it!

We had a great experience last week at River Grille. We came as a party of ten with my two kids having food allergies (dairy, egg, and nuts). Our server Eric was great. The kids were able to get Edamame for an appetizer and accommodated us with a rare request of the vegan pizza with sausage (the kids are not vegetarian). Our whole table had a great meal and the kids loved it too! I highly recommend River Grille if you have food allergies. We were listened to without being judged, and the food was great!

Food was excellent! Service was great! Def. Recommend for a night out. Scallops were fantastic and the steak was over the top! Update: We went there for our 4 year anniversary. Food was as good as remember. Great service! However.... This is not a reflection of management or service... the calimari was a bit rubbery. Like it was frozen and deep fried quick to serve. It wasnt horrible but it didnt have that fresh taste and snap I was expecting. The drinks were good, service was great, the manager was on point. The steak was awesome, the scallops were great!

Food was piping hot and AMAZING!! Service was great! We couldn’t believe the timing on the food and how perfect it was. Presentation 10/10, taste 10/10, timing 10/10, and we couldn’t believe it was piping hot (which is rare for a lot of restaurants). Will definitely come again (:

The River Grille is a terrific restaurant, among the finest in the crowded restaurant space in downtown Easton. It has a great ambiance (crowded and boisterous, just so you are aware in case you prefer secluded and quiet) but every drink and entree was perfectly prepared and delicious. The staff was very attentive and we never waited for any attention. Previously my wife had dined at the sidewalk seating and enjoyed the experience. We went on a cold night in February and the inside was just great. Hoping they can return to outside dining in the Spring, but will happily dine inside any time! Pistachio crusted salmon with mushroom risotto was particularly good.

We came in for lunch, the service team was team so friendly. Drinks are great our guy who was serving us knew his drinks. The food was good the only problem I had was I ordered chicken parm with penne and the sauce was very watery. My husbands burger and salad was killed he ate it all. The atmosphere was low key clean and good music. I would so come back. This place must be jumping on weekends. Conner was a server at the bar area and he was so down to earth and friendly and will talk with you as a server should. So yes 5 stars for all . We will be back!!!

The food at River grille, particularly the pasta dishes, are absolutely incredible. I've also had some of the other entrees which deserve praise but the pastas take the win here. Highly recommended Easton stop.

One of our favorite Easton spots for a nice dinner. One of the originals, and still putting out great food. Couldn't have been happier with our dinner experience!

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant around here. Johnny was AMAZING so attentive and kind!!!! Me and my friend wanted a drink not on the menu and the bartender personally came over to ask us specific questions to make sure we got what we wanted and poured it for us at the table. Staff and food is 10/10

Food was excellent. Service was even better. Matt, our waiter, was very kind, prompt, and helpful. Our food came out very quickly and was so good. We short rib empanadas. They were delicious. Could've made a whole meal out of them. Atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend. It was a little pricey, almost $50 for a filet dinner, but not too bad for an occasional night out.

River Grille is a New American restaurant located on Northampton St. in Easton. It's open Monday through Thursday, 11:30 AM - 9 PM, Friday and Saturday, 11:30 AM - 10 PM, and Sunday, 4 PM - 8 PM. Reservations recommended. I'd heard nothing but glowing reviews about this place, so I was more than a little excited to experience it for myself. For appetizers, I had the chicken spring rolls, fried calamari, and lobster bisque. The spring rolls had a crisp bite with a perfect mix of napa cabbage, carrot, hoisin, and sriracha aioli. The calamari was tender, lightly breaded, and served with a zesty jalapeño aioli and marinara. The lobster bisque was rich and creamy, topped with savory lobster meat. All three were excellent! I went with the lobster papparedelle for dinner, and it was just as amazing as the appetizers! The noodles were perfectly cooked, the sherry cream sauce was flavorful, and the lobster was incredibly succulent. Couldn't have asked for a better meal. My friends tried the guinness braised short ribs and the penne alla vodka. The shorts ribs were a hit, but the penne alla vodka didn't stand out, it was just average. With so many other great options on the menu, I wouldn't recommend it. Service was great. We were seated right away, even without a reservation, and our server, Maria, was friendly and showed superb timeliness throughout our meal.

The food was excellent. However, they were understaffed and had no bartender. They have a full bar in the restaurant, but when I ordered a bloody mary, the waiter/owner(?) looked at me like I had three heads. He had no idea what it was, so I had to stick with water. I have no idea why they have a full bar if they can't make a simple drink. I would visit again, based on the quality of the food.

Heard great things about this restaurant, wanted to give it try for a long time. Glad we did the service was excellent Una really took care and was extremely attentive. We orders the lobster bisque, amazing they need to add more of the green oil because it made a difference on the taste of the soup. We enjoyed the chicken spring rolls she recommended, the spice from the sauce made the dish extra vibrant. My husband ordered the salmon and in his opinion it was more cream corn taste than anything else. He did enjoy it. I had the black and blue ribeye and the cook on the steak was perfect! I wish my potatoes weren’t as charred but the crispy onions made up for it. Our drinks were delicious as well. We would recommend and come back to this location.

8/2025 This time wasn't as good. They changed the dirty martini olive juice and the dirties were less than stlellar. Our server got a good amount on the table whilst pouring. My advice is to use a tray and poor at the side of the table. Could use another shrimp or two as well with the Caesar salad. Other than those items it was a good time. I hope things don't slip any more. 7/18/2025 back again. Unreal and delicious. Brooke was our server tonight with lovely complexion! The food was incredible! We got the ahi tuna, and shrimp and biscuits appetizer, and tiramisu for dessert which was on the restaurant week menu. The dirty martinis were to die for as usual. I love going to this place and I highly recommend it to others. As you already know if you've read the past reviews. 8/15/2022: I have changed the star rating to 5. Went here again and it was even better this time. Our waitress was Maddie and she was wonderful. For food we had the tuna tartare. Delicious. Also we had a mushroom and ricotta ravioli. Soooo good! Drinks were good too. Dessert: incredible. I forget the name but it was a peanut butter and chocolate brownie creation with ganache. July 11 2022: We had a really nice time here. The inside of the restaurant looks very nice but we did not eat inside as we ate out side on the street which was blocked off into a makeshift eating area with twinkle lights, astroturf flooring, umbrella tables and full dinner and bar service. It was great. We had a variety of food and drinks and they all were delicious...Including my dessert which was a creme brulee! Will definitely be back here at some point.

When in town I stopped in at this restaurant for dinner. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and sat at the bar. The place was super cute. Sean was my bartender and he was nice. I ordered the lemon drop martini and shrimp scampi. The lemon drop was good. When the food came out I dug in and it was tasty. The bill wasn't too bad. I enjoyed my experience.

Nice place. Atmosphere: Calm and warm. Open. Appetizer: lobster sliders. Fantastic. The lobster was cooked near perfect, the little Buns theyvwere on had a bit of crunch from being toasted just perfectly. I could have eaten 2 plates. Dinner: The food was very good. I ordered the guiness braised short rib. The meat was fall apart tender and full of flavor. Mashed potatoes were a wonderful texture and flavor, mixed with the juices from the meat even better. The green beans, pretty typical for fresh green beans, light and refreshing but certainly nothing to pull them above average. The pastas were good, not amazing, but good and hearty. The orecchiette brocolini was a table fav. The penne Ala vodka had a good flavor profile overall but didn't set itself apart from anywhere else. A good reliable meal. The burgers ordered were done as asked and done perfectly. No special drinks or dessert ordered this time.

Do only reason its not 5 stars it can get extremely hard to hear eachother if sitting at the round table booths during the busy time. The manager is top notch when the drinks came to us botched unbearable, the manager quickly handled the situation and threw in free ice-cream for the inconvenience. That act in itself makes me want to go again, but he wasn't done there he removed 2 drinks off the bill on top of it. Short ribs and the filet mignon were exceptional. Blue cheese steak sauce was spot on. Outside the noise and waiting its a top 10 for easton. Not in my top 5 but 6 or 7.

Service is excellent. Food is hit or miss though. We've been multiple times but this is going to be our last. Husband had the surf & turf special which was a hit. I tried the Bolognese which was way too sweet. Tasted like sloppy Joe. Chicken was a mess also. Penne vodka had peas in it. (Very strange). Drinks were good but very inconsistent. My first mango margarita was excellent, but the second was not. Just frustrating to not have consistency in food or drink. Anyways, some people in the area really like the food and others just don't.

Took them three tries to make a medium steak. The first two times, it was super rare, like they just seared the outside quick and called it good. Third time, I'm pretty sure they just took the second steak back and microwaved it (the plate came back hot and they had doused the steak in extra sauce to keep it from drying out). The potatoes were also a little under cooked. However, the food was good (our other steak was made correctly the first time and was fantastic), the wait staff were excellent, and they gave us a free dessert to apologize for the steak challenges

The menu had very few options for a grill restaurant, which was disappointing. My food arrived cold, and the chicken Parmesan had no flavor at all. The sauce tasted like something store-bought, similar to what you’d get at Walmart. The only positive part was the service, but even that wasn’t enough to make the experience worth it. Overall, I would not recommend this place.
