Absolutely 10 out of 10!!!! The foie gras with goat cheese and caramelized apple was incredibly delicious, the tuna tartare was spectacular!!!! The venison loin was superb!!!! And the staff's service was also top-notch!!!!

Restaurant located between Barco de Ávila and La Carrera (a neighborhood in Buenos Aires) with an indoor dining room and an outdoor terrace. They have a good weekend menu with two starter and main courses plus dessert. The service is very fast (we had our dishes served in less than 5 minutes). Fantastic value for money with generous portions. The service is very friendly and welcoming. It's recommended to book in advance because it's a popular restaurant. We'll be back.

We were so lucky today to stumble upon this restaurant! We were coming from Jerte, where you couldn't even get a beer. It was late, and we had no hope of finding a place to eat. But when we arrived in El Barco, we stopped here and... the staff was fantastic, and the food was fantastic too! Honestly, if you're ever in El Barco de Ávila, I highly recommend it. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and professional, welcoming us even though the place was full and taking excellent care of us. We'll definitely be back in El Barco, and now we know where to enjoy a great meal and great company. We ordered the traditional "Barco beans" (with seconds) and the braised pork cheeks, which were delicious. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism. Best regards.

We loved it! We have been on the route with the motorcycle, and we did not know anything in the area, looking on the Internet and on the recommendations of some place, it has finally been the choice. Pork hands, something completely different from the traditional, chuleton and torrija, is what we have asked. We cannot decide which of them, because it has been a very good gastronomic experience! Very highly recommended! We will return!

We found it by chance and booked for dinner, as there were few restaurants open in the area, and what a find it was! We ordered beef cheek, with a delicious sauce and excellent meat quality (they let us replace the salad with potatoes, which was a very nice touch) and Ávila ribeye steak, perfectly cooked and enormous. For dessert, a cheesecake with Cardhu ice cream, also delicious and homemade. They also brought us a mini roll with aioli as an appetizer that was very good. I'd like to highlight the friendly service; they made us feel very comfortable, and we had a 10-star dinner. We'll definitely return when we visit the area again.

Fantastic staff and fantastic food. Honestly, if you're visiting El Barco de Ávila, I highly recommend it. I do recommend making a reservation before you go. The price-quality ratio is perfectly balanced. The waiters helped us choose the dishes, taking our preferences into account, and they were absolutely spot on. The portions were just right; we left with our bellies full.

Very good typical and regional food. You can choose between being seated at the restaurant area for a-la-carte meals or at the bar for tapas and little dishes. So far we weren’t really impressed by the friendliness of restaurant staff around Madrid. But this place is different. We booked for 6 people and 2 girls. Four of us ate from the very good menu. Two ordered roast suckling pig and pickled partridge salad. The suckling pig was delicious, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. For dessert, caramelized French toast with nougat ice cream was spectacular, cheesecake with vanilla ice cream was delicious, and whiskey ice cream cakes were delicious. The girls had the children's menu: enormous breaded chicken strips with homemade fries.

We went on a friend's recommendation, as we were just passing through, and it was a very pleasant surprise. They had a delicious set menu at a great price, as well as an à la carte menu. There were four of us, and we ordered two set menus and two dishes from the à la carte menu. The white beans with porcini mushrooms were amazing, and the sweetbreads were also delicious. Hearty portions. You can have seconds on the set menu, which we did. Highly recommended.
