Avis sur Five Guys El Cajon
I bought a sandwich from them for the first time today, I liked the taste of the meat, the fries were fresh. Overall, everything was to my liking.
This is a good location. I ate here twice this week. Once for dinner and once for lunch. The first time I had a cheeseburger (double) fries and a drink. The next time I tried the classic combo (little burger, little fry & drink) for $13.99 plus tax. Both times the staff were very friendly and helpful. They frequently were checking on the dining room.
For those who love the "taste" of great fries and not as much the "crunch," you need to go here!! It's worth it for the fries alone but dont miss out on their burgers! I've tried fries from almost everywhere and 5 Guys has the best! Fresh potatoes, never frozen is the key to the best tasting fries ever. They are beyond that other place where you go in and out.
I must say, this Five Guys is way better tasting than the one in yuma. All though we did have a little misunderstanding with the order. Taste matters most.
Consistent and quality food. Friendly staff making everything fresh. Good place to grab a burger. Bonus: free peanuts while you wait for your food.
5 Guys burgers n fries are legit. Only thing that would make it better is if they had ranch! I've definitely thought about bringing my own when we go LOL but hey those cajun fries would be bomb dot com with some ranch and y'all know it!
I really enjoyed my lunch at this restaurant. As soon as you walk in very nice atmosphere, staff makes you feel so welcomed. My bacon burger was so good! My fries just the way I like them. My soda was so cold, very refreshing! I can not complain great service and awesome food! Thank you for your business!
After a satisfying week of helping people with their Medicare, Saturday was a day of errands. We had a late lunch at Five Guys. It had been several years since we've been here. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious. I like all of the options they offer to put on the burger, but I would prefer red onion over the current white onion. That said, great experience.
The family wanted burgers so we got some takeout food from Five Guys at Parkway Plaza. The burgers are a little better than Carl's Jr., but still overpriced for what you get. The lightly salted fries were pretty salty. The service was a little slow but OK. I think The Habit burger joint offers a better burger for the same price range.
The burgers were delicious... but so expensive! You could easily spend $20 per person here... and this is basically better cooked fast-food. Over $10 for just a small burger!
Based on the pricing now, I come here as a treat to myself. My only disappointment is that the lids on the cups are so cheaply made. It's infuriating actually. I made it to the car with half my drink left in the cup, i juggled with the lid slipping/popping off the whole way. Anyway. $20 bacon cheese burger is fine but pls invest back in your own business and get better cups/lids. Thanks.
Very good hamburger really good French fries and they give you alot of them they give you free peanuts I dont eat them but that is nice of them it is definitely on the expensive side but the food is good and the service is good restaurant looked clean and it's at the mall so there is plenty of parking
Went there around 4pm, the place was empty, it was nice and clean. Ordered bacon cheeseburger which was delicious, fries were soggy and not so good. Staff didn't even say hello, they were not nice at all. They also tossed fries in the bag, making packaging very messy, it was impossible to eat it without getting your hands oily and salty.
I give them 3 Stars for a few reasons. I ordered Cajun fries, but got normal fries. When I went in and said, "I don't think these are Cajun Fries, can I have a cup of Seasoning." The employee told me the receipt said a little fry not Cajun so it isn't his fault. I wish he gave a better response. Plus this is the first time I've had them put the fries on top, not to mention there was noone in there and they we're standing around doing nothing (I came in an hour before closing) so I definitely expected better. Plus it was the only thing wrong about my birthday, but I wouldn't expect them to know that. I'll update the review next time I go in.
If you want the best burger with lots of toppings, this is the place. If you only want a bun, meat, and cheese, and fries, you're throwing away your money here. You're paying for unlimited peanuts and like 30 high-quality topping options, so you might as well get 'em. The regular fries are over-rated garbage; the cajun fries are much improved with the cajun seasoning. They have the soda machines with like hundreds of flavors, which is awesome. This location does not serve egg sandwhiches, which are really good at other locatuons.
What pops into your mind when you think of Five Guys? Thick, lumpy beef patties with bags full of fries, right? For years, I've told everyone whenever the topic came up that Five Guys - the quality and the service - far surpass any other franchise burger joints, even In & Out. This one in Parkway Plaza has long been my go- to location and I'd never been disappointed... until tonight. We walk in and there's no greeting. The young man behind the counter just wiggles his three fingers at us. When I greet him, he rolls his eyes and says, "What's your order?" Strange. This is kind of the greeting we expect from McDonald's, not my favorite burger joint. Maybe he's having an off day... so we just order and wait the fifteen minutes to get our food. We get home, open up the bag, and this is what we see: little cup half- filled with fries.. and none in the bottom of the bag. Are they required to? No. Has it been a tradition that we've all come to count on? Maybe. I mean, the least they could've done was fill the cup! Is this what we can expect from Five Guys from now on, rude cashiers and tiny portions??
$50 for 2 people. Food is good.
Service is 10/10, but the food tatse sucks! Fries are tasteless for me, only getting burnt taste but they look okay. For the price, there are far tastier options. The fries taste like in n out, which I hate.
This used to be a favorite "treat yourself" but I don't know if my most recent visit can be saved. I walked in and the staff was yelling at each other about something, telling people where to go and what not. The first thing we noticed was the prices went up exponentially, the little burgers are almost $8 and the regular almost $10, nearly a 50% price increase. We placed our order and waited. The food came up and my burger was made the same way as my fiancé's, which obviously wasn't how it was ordered, then the fries had only been touched in the fryer. They were severely undercooked, some felt like they had just been cut. On top of that they had a weird artificial flavor that's never been there before. I think a crazy price jack and one terrible cup of fries will kill this place for me.
