We ordered Crazy Sizzler Platter and Bourbon Chicken, and which were pretty good price. We ended up paying like $35 with tips. The waitress was too humble, that she served everything we asked for in a timely manner. Also, we a coupon to add on to our order which is a plate of grand slam, we took biscuit and gravy instead of pancake, which is pretty yumm, and we took scrambled egg that was definitely larger portion than two sunny side eggs. Here I am it just two minutes past 12 am and I very hungry after a night 4th of July .I go to this Denny 's at this one Denny 's the hosts is also waitress and maybe even the cook as well .The reason I know this is because from the time she seated me and ask what do I wanted drink she ran back to somewhere got a trey of food to some along with a menu for me and fifty teen minutes later a trey with two plates for a table and water for me and went out back somewhere 20 minutes she come out with a trey with some plates to a table and comes over to me and smiles ( she doesn't have no front teeth ) and takes my order. I would see her from time to time .At one she turned down some customers that walked in saying she is by herself .by the time I got steak and corn dinner it was 1:23am dam that steak was excellent that I forgot how long the wait was. She was a one person show . So I rate her an eight happened and the management a two for making this happen

Waitress professional kind, restaurant was clean and setting was nice. Potatoes cold, broccoli cold, bread cool. Steak was not cooked ask requested.. But I was hungry so I eat and left...

Danny's In el Cerrito CA I give this Wonderful at times place a 3 stars just because their was no staff at all to work in Halloween night. I went with the Bf. To go eat dinner I had a great night it was clean and the food was good it looked just like the menu so it is a win for us. I hope they find more staff. If i could I would help. But impossible. Those people who work in the food field is a hats down for sure . 10 on 10 food 10 on 10 customer service Nice lady and the guy that was helping her thank you for our great night.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this location. New to el cerrito. Use to the one in American canyon or anywhere else! Truly the worse Denny's experience....Slow service. Waiters laying down in booths with their shoes on. Mostly Spanish speaking staff with mariachi music playing. Not inclusive. Management or lack there of could use some people skills. Ordered one thing. Received something that was not ever said. They take forever to check on you just so you can tell them they didn't give you syrup. Just not customer oriented. THIS DENNYS IS A FAIL! Don't do it....unless you speak Spanish or except mediocre service /treatment! I'm still waiting on someone to ask if everything is OK as I am use to! But you know what...Karma...so I Still left a tip! Lack of training doesn't mean the server didn't deserve more then the hourly wage! Everyone deserves a living wage regardless! But I took pride in any job I had and the customer was the back bone! Unless a business understands that, they fail!

I was there and I was waiting in line. I didn’t see no cashier or no waitress at the front. It was a woman reading a newspaper then some other old guy right behind me for some reason he got served by the waitress, even though I was right in front of him in line I didn’t like the customer service the Mandela waitress thought I didn’t know Spanish and I spoke Spanish. She was shocked about that when she said a bad word talking about me and I’m trying not to argue with her. Let her know hey I was the first person in line and how come I wasn’t serve and I had to wait 45 minutes technically it was actually 25 minutes 45 because I had to order my food overall she had a little bit of good customer service but she need to work on her attitude that’s why I do not tip. None of them. I didn’t wanna give a tip because it was poor customer service. I actually posted the video on Facebook , they need to work on customer service and they need to start checking and see who’s actually at the front counter we shouldn’t be screaming yelling saying somebody that’s not right. I recommend this place again to be honest about it unless they work on our customer service is no problem I gave it a two star rating for their poor customer service if that was the case, I wish that Sizzlers would’ve stayed open instead of them putting Dennys right there. I miss sizzler instead of Denny’s.

Not sure what's happened to this establishment. Used to be able to get food during non-peak times within 10-15 minutes. 4 eggs, 4 slices of bacon w French toast and pancakes shouldnt take 40+ minutes. Everything is slow. They wont tell you how long a wait is for anything. Do yourself a favor and go to the IHOP down the street if you want a quick breakfast; otherwise there are tons of local establishments to support.

Waited 45 minutes just for the manager to apologize and say they didn’t have everything I ordered. There wasn’t even any cooks in the kitchen. After almost a hour i just ended up cancelling the order and going home. New management!

Horrible. I ordered $50 food and they never checked in my table. 4-5 servers running around. Thanksgiving day crowd. Chill. Awful nonexistent service. Low quality chicken tender. Horrible. Don't order it. Green smoothie was cool. Pancake good too. Hash brown low low quality. Ugh. Never again

I can't believe it! I've been a regular at this place for almost 3 years, visiting at least twice a week, but today's experience was just disappointing. We decided to come in on a Sunday for a change, and right from the start, things felt off. As we walked in, the person in charge (a tall, hefty gentleman) barely acknowledged us. The children's menu was in black and white, making it hard to read, and we had to wait 15 minutes before a server, a redhead, finally came to take our order in a rather unprofessional manner. It took another 35-45 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did, there were no spoons, only forks and knives. My chicken wasn't burnt, but it tasted like it had been cooked in dirty oil. Throughout the entire meal, our server didn't check on us even once to see if we needed anything else. Surprisingly, despite the lackluster service, the cleaning lady seemed to be the only one doing her job well.

One thing that annoys me in California, you're at the restaurant eating and the waiter putting pressure on you to leave even though the store is super empty. Last night at Denny's Richamond the waiter took my plate away before finishing my salad, I thought that was absurd and totally inelegant of him.
