Avis sur Martha’s Café El Paso
Super fast service. Nice people-better food. I ordered the Mexican plate. It was all delicious. A cold Coke to wash it down The verde salsa was perfect, with just enough heat. I wish I could make salsa like that. The portions were good because I was hungry. I wish they were open for Dinner.
Swung in here while walking around downtown and I am surely glad I had. Great service along with delicious food. I’ll definitely stop by next time I’m in town.
My very first time eating at this fine establishment and my first and true reaction is HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE EXISTED!!!!!!??? What a truly beautiful gem in the heart of El Paso with the most amazing atmosphere, vibe and friendly service. And that’s not even getting started on the food. The plates are spectacularly flavorful and bountiful at an extremely fair price!!!! We are very lucky to have such a fine restaurant here at home
Very first time here and I must say it was an excellent choice we just accidentally found it thru google maps. First of all customer service was excellent our waitress was very attentive at all times. Secondly the food was delicious. We had the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and I just had to try the menudo before we left and my taste buds were super happy. If you’re visiting El Paso I highly recommend this place. I will say and for me it was perfect. The Portions are smaller but let that stop you because it leaves room to try more than one plate. Just like we did. I still left with a full tummy and fully satisfied and pleased.
Gem in the rough! This little cafe had great food and service. I ordered the Huevos rancheros which were great, red sauce had plenty of flavor, but the real hero was the green salsa that came with the meal. Jair right amount of heat (pretty spicy) and lots of flavor. Service was right on, took my order quick and checked on me frequently. I couldn’t believe that my bill was $11 for my meal, coffee and water. Oh ya, and if you like the Cowboys, this is your spot. Hardly an open inch on the walls.
Giving this local downtown restaurant 5 Stars for the collection of COWBOY paraphernalia/memorabilia! Great place if you like the Dallas Cowboys! We totally enjoyed the staff and meeting Martha! Jessica our server was especially attentive to all the guest! Good coffee and tasty breakfast burrito! Pancakes with syrup were just right for our sweet tooth! So much to look at. Recommend this small but cozy place for a home style breakfast or lunch!
I'm not a Dallas Cowboys fan, but I am a fan of great local food, and Martha's Café delivered. The service was quick and friendly during breakfast. If you can get past the wall-to-wall Dallas Cowboys paraphernalia, the atmosphere is quite homely. And the food? Inexpensively delicious.
Super cool spot with fantastic food and full house of Cowboy! Unlike a lot of TexMex food, the food here was refreshing and I could taste the food itself instead of being smothered by grease. This is true even for a fried dish like Chile Relleno. The rice and refried bean both contains nice amount of flavors, not too strong not too light, just the right amount. People were super friendly and helpful here too. (If you don’t speak Spanish don’t shy away, they do speak English 🙂). 10/10 recommended and will be back whenever I visit El Paso!
What a little gem in El Centro this place it. Even if you don't root for America's Team, everyone should be a fan of Martha's Cafe. My wife and I walked over from our hotel and it was the perfect meal before we did some sightseeing and hiking up at Franklin Mountains State Park. Probably the best huevos rancheros I've ever had! This will definitely be on our must return spots when we pass through again. Not sure why I didn't post a review sooner as this was Oct 2021 when we visited.
Authentic Mexican Food! We were staying downtown and walked to the the restaurant. The food was delicious and the menudo was so clean and fresh. The employees were wonderful and made you feel very welcomed. If you’re a Dallas cowboy fan you will love their decor. I recommend Martha’s cafe to anyone who wants to enjoy some great authentic Mexican food.
It is a lovely place if you are a Cowboys fan. The offer breakfast all day which is a plus for me. Real Mexican flavor on their menu.
The food and prices are superb! I didn’t expect much but I was blown away by the attentive service and the food! Don’t mind the decor; I’m a NY Giants fan myself but you are surrounded by Dallas Cowboys decor wall to wall to ceiling! Had the chilaquiles and steak torta and coffee. I’d definitely return here again. It’s a popular spot for the local military men and women too.
Martha's is a nice little Mexican food restaurant. We went for breakfast and enjoyed their omelettes, without the refried beans, potatoes and tortillas that they serve with them. Service was friendly. There is table service, but you pay at the back counter. The decor is all Dallas Cowboys memorabilia. They make good use of wall space. Not too busy on a Friday morning, but I can see it getting packed.
