Fire pizza and best wings I’ve had in a while 10/10

Visited the El Segundo store. Outstanding pizza. As good as the best pizza I’ve had in NYC. (I’ve had a lot of NYC Pizza) Staff are really friendly and the manager goes above and beyond to make sure every customer is happy. Highly recommend.

I needed a good pizza place and Prime came through. I found this place through some reddit forums and while those can be deceptive at times, I was not disappointed this time. The whole pizzas tend to be on the expensive side but by-the-slice its actually not too bad. I would recommend the Sicilian as its like twice the amount of pizza than a normal slice. Traditionally I prefer thin sliced but I was pleasantly surprised with it. I am sure a whole pie straight out of the oven would be even better.

Prime pizza is my family’s go to for take out. Their pizzas are great, flavorful, and always consistently prepared. We typically get the pepperoni and vodka pies or occasionally the meat lovers; and we pair it with their Cesar salad with, as my wife says, “the best ranch dressing not from a bottle!”

By far one of the best pizza spots in the South Bay! The service was great and would highly recommend giving it a try. They sell by the slice in case you want to grab and go.

As an East Coast transplant, my search for authentic pizza in California has been a disappointing journey... until Prime Pizza. This El Segundo gem delivers the real deal that actually satisfies those New York/New Jersey pizza cravings. Their round pies nail that perfect balance - thin, foldable crust with just the right chew, quality sauce that doesn't overwhelm, and properly melted cheese. But the true standout for me is their Sicilian square pizza - crispy bottom, airy interior, and those perfect crispy cheese edges that any square pie enthusiast knows is the hallmark of excellence. The white pizza deserves special mention - perfectly garlicky with ricotta that's creamy but not heavy. It rivals some of the best I've had back east, which is saying something. What makes Prime even better is the efficiency. Whether grabbing a quick lunch or dinner, the service is always prompt and friendly. The ingredients taste noticeably fresh, and they don't skimp on quality. The space is casual and unpretentious - exactly what you want in a proper pizza joint. Prices are reasonable for the quality you're getting. For East Coasters suffering through California's pizza scene or locals who want to experience what proper pizza should taste like, Prime Pizza in El Segundo is the real deal. You won't miss those cardboard-crusted, overly sweet sauced disappointments ever again.

If you're looking for a great environment with gluten free pizza options, you've come to the right place! The gluten free pizza was made fresh and I added the ricotta on top and it was so good! Definitely recommend!

But this time, the service was kind of a mess. We had a new server, which is totally fine — I’m usually pretty patient — but they were really ignoring us, like just not paying attention. C’mon, bruh! We ordered a white slice, a meatball hoagie, and lemon pepper wings with ranch. To wash it all down, I had a white ale from Avery Brewing Co. The food was still fire, but the service definitely needs some work.

After seeing so many pizza reviews from Dave Portnoy, I decided to see if he did any in the LA area. I saw that he stopped by prime pizza and gave it a 8.3. Although this wasn't the location he visited, I decided to stop in anyway. I ordered the $10 2 cheese slices with a drink lunch special. Upgraded 2 slice to pepperoni and ordered an extra rectangle Sicilian slice. The cheese slice was amazing. Just like the in the Portnoy review. Nice crisp just how I like it. Taste was great. Sauce was good as well as the cheese. Pepperoni was just as good. No complaints. The Sicilian slice was good but a little too crunchy for me. Was harder to chew. The sauce was good. Highly recommended

My sister got me a gluten free spicy pepperoni from another location before Prime came to El Segundo. I was ecstatic to find out this one would be opening close to home. Hands down the best GF pizza around if you have that dietary restriction. The manager here always goes above and beyond. Highly recommend if you haven’t given it a try yet.

Great pizza with some classic pizza shop vibes. I got the spicy Sicilian and BBQ chicken. The Sicilian was very tasty. Perfectly crispy on the edges and definitely had a little punch to it. They had syfy channel running with some cheesy old monster movie (pun intended). Overall: would definitely dine in again.

This place is great for pizza,. especially if you're looking for good squares. I like their pepperoni and Sicilian. The crust and bread are cooked very well and soft but also has a nice crust to it with some carmelization of cheese. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is chill at the pizza shop for casual eating.

Pizza tastes like NYC, but made at California speed. Really good pizza, but no idea why it takes so many to work so slow. I’ve seen one guy in Manhattan serve twice as many people faster than the 6 employees here. Pizza is good. Back again. Still good pizza. I just don’t understand. Order pizza. Employees wait 10 minutes and then put in oven. Sooo slow.

Excellent pizza . First time the customer service guy was excellent. 2nd visit pizza once again was fantastic but the young girl behind the cash register is probably in the wrong job as she systematically ignored me while I patiently stood in front of cash register waiting to order. Wasn’t a case of multitasking simply getting off on power tripping as I watched her gossip with co workers. Honesty it was nearly enough to make me not want to return.

Diffenaty good thick pizza, 200 % better than Dominos. Location isn't the best if you live in residential El Segundo. They do deliver. I say give them s try.

Your average pizza shop with pizza and some sides. I got a side of meatballs and a slice of grandmas square pizza with ranch. The meatballs were hella good with lots of flavor, which kinda made the pizza meeeh. I ended up soaking the pizza in the ranch, which the ranch was good. I'd go back for the meatballs not the pizza though.

Had to make a drop off at LAX and Prime Pizza had been on my radar so thought I would give this a try since it was just 10 min away from the airport. The place looked pretty clean and there was plenty of parking and added bonus they had the Dodger game on! Now on to the pizzas! They didn't have a full selection to choose from when I got there (granted it was later in the evening), however, the slices that jumped out at me the most were the Sicilian and the BBQ Chicken. Service was friendly and gentleman that helped me brought the slices out to the table and even followed up and asked how everything was. Both slices I ordered were outstanding and while the BBQ Chicken was on the sweeter side, the spice of the jalapenos definitely added a nice contrast to the sweet. Nice crust as well and overall the quality of the ingredients shined. The Sicilian was probably my favorite out of the two though they are completely different styles.

Great thinner crust with good char (in parts). Great amount of cheese....more than you need but def not too much...and a great taste of creamy and a little salt. LOVE the fresh Basil sprinkled on top....nice touch!! I think they're still getting their feet under them at this location...4 Stars for now. We were given :60 minutes for pickup and it was more like 1:20 minutes and half of the crust was not as cooked as the other half. I'm assuming it was cooked enough through the conveyor and they pulled it slightly early. Still great pizza but could have been better

This location actually had the best tasting version of prime, and I would’ve loved to give it a 5 star rating however the toppings on my pizza were basically non existent, 0-2 sausage pieces per grandma square. Also got slices, they came out two completely different sizes, one normal ny slice, and one extra small. Ample seating. Served canned Coke products.

I tried three different slices from Prime Pizza across a couple visits: Vodka, Grandma, and the Sicilian. The grandma reminds me of a New York slice! I prefer a corner, and these corners are pretty large. The crust is fluffy in the middle but crispy on the edges and bottom. The delicious tomato sauce is dalloped to a perfect ratio on top. The grandma is a highlight and a classic done right. 5/5 The Sicilian is also full of flavor. The basil drizzled over the tomato sauce is a nice touch, and I thought this crust was a tad thinner than the grandma slice but still fluffy in the middle and crispy on the edges. The Vodka was my least favorite. The sauce is delicious but something about the combination of the flavors and crust results in a confusing aftertaste. I also found this crust not as good as the square cut pizzas. Overall, a great place to grab a slice. Any slices with a corner crust is my recommendation, because I think that's Prime's superior crust style and what they do best. There's cheese and red pepper on every table. Everyone here is so friendly and ready to help. Service is an easy 5/5

I love the fact that they have six vegan pizzas available, one of them is gluten free. I do wish they had vegan slices available,though. I had the vegan supreme pizza which was delicious and very large.

Good pizza . Just grabbed a few slices and they warmed it up . Out in a few minutes . They’re nice light thin and crispy ! We tried the cheese and the white sauce… Editing the review felt kind of nauseous after going home . Don’t think I’d come back but it wasn’t bad

So I went for lunch and I got the lunch "special" The Ceasar salad was delicious. I also got the Sicilian square pizza slice and I was disappointed and it was barely warm. Now I know this location just opened up this past weekend so why they have expired coupons?? Overall disappointed and I probably won't come back, overpriced in my opinion. The store is really small also.

So I asked if they could just give me a few jalapenos on the side, and they also said it wasn't allowed 🤔😔😒I was told extra toppings can only be added to whole large pizzas. I found that kind of odd....but whatever. It was just a few jalapenos 😕. I LOVE Wall Street Pizza much better ♥️😍♥️

I could see the ones I wanted already cooked and on trays behind glass in front of me when I ordered, and they didn’t seem particularly busy (3 staff folding pizza boxes on the front counter). I ended up just taking them cold because it was taking so long. The pizza itself is a solid 7/10. Good balance of cheese and toppings, and the crust has a nice sponge/tanginess to it you don’t find at a lot of places. Just hard to justify at 5 bucks per slice. I also have had their wagyu meatball curry pizza at their other location and felt similar, it was good but not great, especially as that pizza approached 40 bucks (!) for the whole pie. Lots of hype, a little early to tell for sure but let’s hope this place lives up to it. Will try again and update review if anything changes. It’s hard to see them lowering their prices but that would help me feel better about the quality of food and service at this point in time.

I had high hopes for this spot when I saw it was opening. Definitely don’t do Uber eats, took a little over an hour and the pizza was cold. No big deal as my toaster oven always makes pizza leftovers tasty. Pizza was horrible. I’m throwing half away. Lemon wings were edible but below average. Vodka penne also horrible, again will throw most away.

To much oil. I went to pick up my pizza and the guy at cashier was very unprofessional. Also i parked my car outside the store for less then 15 second since my order was ready and he too me that next time I don’t have to park like that. I didn’t know the pizza guy it was responsible for parking too. If you don’t know how to be precessional please let other people be there. Also super expensive for a normal pizza. I ordered from Uber eats. Pizza arrived cold. Barely any cheese and veggies. We called the restaurant and was basically told yeah sorry it says it was delivered at a certain time. When we called it was 8:09 the pizza was delivered at 7:50 ish we just didn’t call right away. I love NY style pizza and this has by far been the worst veggie pizza. Part of it was burnt as well. The pics of people dining in looks great ours not so much. Insane to spend so much money on this pizza and it be a huge disappointment! Don’t believe the reviews.
