I've never been in this Chevys that was so crazy busy that I was in shock, but I have to say we sat in a section with a server by the name of Junior who was so quick he was moving these people in and out and keeps the drink, chips and salsafull at all time with a continuous smile on his face. He's very kind, helpful and a very diligent server. Thank you Junior for the amazing service and Christmas, we'll definitely return to your section!!

Wonderful dinner. We sat near the bar and got in quick, service by Junior was absolutely impeccable. He was quick, funny, and attentive. Had the shrimp and crab enchiladas and they were great. Haven’t been to Chevy’s in years but we’ll definitely come back.

1-word Adjective: Attentive We've not been to this Chevy's before even though we used to live in Elk Grove. It's never been a regular restaurant for us, but lately we joined their rewards program and started eating at Chevy's, first at the one on the River and today at the one in Laguna. This one is pretty happening. We were greeted and seated quickly. Jr. was our server and he was attentive. He gave us 2 heaping baskets of their famous tortilla chips and salsa. My kids devoured them right away, but my hubby really went all out. I came back to the table from washing my hands before eating and one basket was almost empty, lol. Jr. graciously gave us a refill. We ordered 2 happy hour items which I find very good value, my big kid ordered the Spicy BBQ chicken quesadilla, and my younger one had the beef birria which is my personal favorite. Hubby had the birthday entree reward from his birthday not long ago and we split the Fajita plate that's the big one for $30 (kind of pricey for what it is). All the food came quickly and were sizzling hot and yummy. Again the 2 HH were the best. Atmosphere was ok, staff was very busy so maybe that's why it was a little tense. Bathroom was in ok shape for age. Decor was pretty nice for this location (no river view, obviously). Overall, we had a good first experience here and plan to be back.

Just had a phenomenal lunch at my local Chevy’s. My wife and I were seated quickly, and Junior was at our table taking our order in no time. Drinks came quick. Food came quick and was delicious. My new lunch spot!

Absolutely amazing service from Junior when my family and I went in today! Junior was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! When my daughter was indecisive about her meal, Junior recommended enchiladas and the type of beans she might want to try and she LOVED it. Always love coming to Chevys but Junior definitely helped make the visit better!

Me and my wife were out running errands and decided to stop by Chevy’s Fresh Mex for some dinner. The place was packed, but we were seated surprisingly fast. Our waiter, Junior, was fantastic he went above and beyond the entire time. His service was excellent, very attentive, and genuinely kind. I had an amazing visit to Chevys! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was upbeat, colorful, and welcoming. Ramon was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious. The fresh-made chips and salsa were a fantastic start, and every dish that followed tasted freshly prepared and full of flavor. The fajitas came out sizzling, the portions were generous, and everything was seasoned just right. I also loved the margaritas—refreshing, perfectly mixed, and a great complement to the meal. Service was quick, the restaurant was clean, and the whole experience felt fun and relaxed. Chevys has definitely become one of my go-to spots for great Mexican food and a lively dining experience. We were visiting from out of town and hadn't been to Chevy's for years and years. We were warmly welcomed by all staff and quickly introduced to our server, Junior. Helpful, understanding, patient and very attentive. He made suggestions and they were perfect. We always had fresh chips and salsa. We didn't have to ask for anything, Junior was always a step ahead. Delicious food, fun atmosphere and quite possibly the BEST server I've ever had. Give Junior a raise!

Fresh and fast Mexican-American Cuisine in Elk Grove. Fresh ingredients that make for a delicious meal. Refreshing beverages for adults and children alike. Great for medium sized groups or dining alone. Ease access directly off of highway 99. On my last visit: My server was expedient and nailed my order to a tee, with the store bustling slammed! The friendly staff cleared room for me to sit down and my order took minimal time to reach the table.

Chevy's a 2000 staple that has suddenly become a place to go. We ordered food to pick up (Party packs) at a certain time. We got to the restaurant at our scheduled pickup time, it was busy!! Hubs walks in with the reservation number. He waits for 5 mins before being asked anything, then waits another 25 minutes before we get our food. What was the purpose of an online order if you are basically making it when I arrive. Absolutely ridiculous!! No apologies not nothing!! The good part was the food was delicious but I guarantee that we will not be back no matter how good the food is. Bad service equals bad review and no return business.

Although Chevy's still has a great atmosphere, I really don't enjoy it anymore. The prices have skyrocketed while the platters have shrunk. They have removed or limited the lunch specials and you have to pay dinner priced for traditional platters. I waited 20 minutes at the counter waiting to be seated before they acknowledged me and several other customers. When she finally did acknowledge me she took us to a table with no apology for the wait. An inexperienced waiter was covering both the bar and several tables.they messed up my order. I had a birthday girl with me and there was no acknowledgement of her birthday when we mentioned it, and that is one of the things they are known for. I don't think I will return.
